And considering the number of terrorists that Israel has freed over the years, we are talking about the worst of the worst.
The official said that Abbas would ask Obama to put pressure on Israel to release scores of prisoners, especially those who were imprisoned before the signing of the Oslo Accords, in order to pave the way for the resumption of the peace talks.
“The issue of the prisoners will be the No. 1 issue during the talks with President Obama,” the official said.
Considering the amount of terrorists that Israel released after the Oslo Accords and then in various confidence building measures and finally in exchange for Gilad Shalit, anyone locked up from before Oslo is seriously bad news.
Israel originally refused to release terrorists with blood on their hands. And then it did. It released some of the worst monsters in prison, including Samir Kuntar, who murdered a little girl, and has gone back to Lebanon still promoting terrorism.
If the Palestinian Authority leader really wants peace, why is he refusing to negotiate until a bunch of his terrorist buddies are released from prison?
Because these aren’t peace negotiations. These are just hostage negotiations.
