Ayatollah Khomeini’s Great-Granddaughter gets a Photoshop Modesty Makeover

How badly have the Mullahs lost Iran’s youth? Consider this photo of the Ayatollah Khomeini’s great-granddaughter wearing her head covering as little more than a scarf with as few Islamic connotations as possible in the style and clad in pants and high heels.

What would the old Islamist monster who declared there is no fun in Islam make of his distant progeny? Or of an Iranian youth that considers his way outmoded and outdated and can barely be terrorized into living that way?

Ayatollah Khomeini’s great-granddaughter is hardly unusual. She’s representative of the Iranian upper class. But covering up is necessary, so a little photoshop made her outfit more Islamically correct.

The high heels are gone. So are the pants. And the headcovering looks more Islamically correct with a hint of Khomeini’s favorite Chador to it.

I can remember a time when Muslims would not allow themselves to be photographed, period, because that created an image that could be worshipped. Then the Ayatollah’s picture was everywhere, and you saw the Muslims worship the image–
