Benghazi Dad Wishes Obama Hadn’t Slept Through the Murder of his Son

Charles Woods is the father of Tyrone Woods, one of the Navy SEALS who disobeyed orders and heroically rushed to the rescue of the Benghazi mission personnel and was abandoned without support.

Under Bush, the media turned Cindy Sheehan into an icon. But none of the Benghazi family members can get airtime outside of FOX to discuss the sense of pain and abandonment that they feel.

When asked about Obama, Charles Woods, father of Ty Woods who was killed in Benghazi, said:

It’s a little late for that. I wish he had taken the time the night of September 11, not to go to bed, not to go prepare to collect money in Las Vegas, but I wish he had taken time then to watch more of the video of the live time ambush attack and that I wish that he had sent the troops that everybody knows were available to rescue those people…

In this case, there was no rescue attempt, no planes sent. In fact, Ty’s body was left on the tarmac for three hours and there wasn’t even an American plane sent to rescue or even take his body home.

They had to commandeer a Libyan plane and didn’t even know where they would be taken in order to remove his body from the tarmac. Is that the way to treat an American hero?

Woods had previously challenged Obama, asking him,

Your Honor, I respect your office as president. But if this attack on American citizens, on American soil, happened 2,000 miles away from Washington, D.C. — say in Los Angeles or in Seattle — would you have waited seven hours before you sent the first airplane? Would you have waited seven hours until the attack was over? Would you have waited a couple of days until you had all of the videos and all the information before you responded in a responsible military way?”

I feel bad for the Benghazi dads, just as I also feel bad for all the dads who loss sons and daughters fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan under false pretenses.

I feel bad that you’re a horrible soulless person incapable of empathy

You’re an idiotic Canadian moonbat. Keep your snotty nose out of America’s business.

There’s no point in trying to shame Obama. He is a nihilist. So is Hillary Clinton. I’d sooner spit on him than call him “Your honor,” or “Mr. President.”

    • Daniel Greenfield

It’s why I never use the term for him

        Which term wouldn’t you use?

MEGA DITTOS TO THAT!What I’ve ALWAYS been curious about is the remark(Joint Chiefs)that there wasn’t”TIME”to rescue these men?How did they know??Did they have a copy of the”Script”??????????????????

Hillary … The B*tch of Benghazi would be President.

    • snafubar

If Hillary is selected in 2016, I’m leaving the USA, since it will no longer exist.

  • Lanna

This was some interview, no parent should have to know that the US government didn’t even try to save one of our own, he was left on the tarmack, there was no one to even recover him after he died..totally, some foreign group in Libya finally removed him and sent him back to his family, unforgiveable, this administration needs to pay big time!

A year later, it’s still all about cross-border authority, and not merely laziness or lack of caring by Obama. Our president literally hid himself, because he is the only person on the planet who can authorize U.S. military forces to cross an international border on an armed mission. That is why the only small relief force came from Tripoli: the acting ambassador could authorize that mission on his own, using forces already “in country.”

Obama didn’t just “forget” to attend any situation room meetings, he hid like a coward, so that he would not be put on the spot to authorize CBA. My guess is that his biggest fear was that an armed rescue mission could go sour and turn into a “Black Hawk Down” fiasco just weeks before the election. Instead, he “wrote off” Americans under fire, dooming them to die, breaking the faith. Keep in mind that while the coward hid, his own ambassador–equal in rank to a 4-star general–was missing and presumed to be in the hands of enemy jihadists. And the coward hid.

    • Sashland

yes, CBA is the hidden issue.

I suspect that Libya denied entry, and Hillary did not want to admit they would not go in anyway (or they were sitting around waiting for a response that never came…)

Did they not even bother to ask, or was it denied and they took “No” for any answer, wrong either way.

I see the racist media is still pushing this conspiracy theory.

    • Tasmaniac

Racist media? Are you actually implying that the majority of the media is in some way discriminating against their beloved Obama by barely covering the Benghazi story?

      • info warrior

The racist media is focusing on Benghazi to distract people from the wider war on terror. It’s merely a distraction.

    • snafubar

The racist media (ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, etc…) have been HIDING the Benghazi story for over a year.

They must protect the usurper they selected.

      Very sad indeed.

    • ObamaYoMoma

If it isn’t a legit conspiracy, then why won’t Obama tell us what he was doing during the attack? Indeed, what does he have to hide? Why is he covering up? Who concocted the idiotic movie propaganda? There are a ton of unanswered questions the administration is covering up moonbat. Moreover, everything is racist to you loons, especially when you have a black president who is obviously incredibly incompetent and inept.

“An Israeli filmmaker based in California went into hiding Tuesday after his movie attacking Islam’s Prophet Muhammad sparked angry assaults by ultra-conservative Muslims on U.S. missions in Egypt and Libya, where a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans were killed…..

Protesters angered over Bacile’s film opened fire on and burned down the U.S. Consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, killing U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others on Tuesday. In Egypt, protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and replaced an American flag with an Islamic banner.

“This is a political movie,” said Bacile. “The U.S. lost a lot of money and a lot of people in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but we’re fighting with ideas.”

Bacile, a California real estate developer who identifies himself as an Israeli Jew, said he believes the movie will help his native land by exposing Islam’s flaws to the world.

“Islam is a cancer, period,” he said repeatedly, his solemn voice thickly accented.

The two-hour movie, “Innocence of Muslims,” cost $5 million to make and was financed with the help of more than 100 Jewish donors, said Bacile, who wrote and directed it..

It depicts Muhammad as a feckless philanderer who approved of child sexual abuse, among other overtly insulting claims that have caused outrage….

Muslims find it offensive to depict Muhammad in any manner, let alone insult the prophet. A Danish newspaper’s 2005 publication of 12 caricatures of the prophet triggered riots in many Muslim countries.

Though Bacile was apologetic about Americans who were killed as a result of the outrage over his film, he blamed lax embassy security and the perpetrators of the violence.

“I feel the security system (at the embassies) is no good,” said Bacile. “America should do something to change it.”

A consultant on the film, Steve Klein, said the filmmaker is concerned for family members who live in Egypt. Bacile declined to confirm.

Klein said he vowed to help Bacile make the movie but warned him that “you’re going to be the next Theo van Gogh.” Van Gogh was a Dutch filmmaker killed by a Muslim extremist in 2004 after making a film that was perceived as insulting to Islam.

“We went into this knowing this was probably going to happen,” Klein said.

Bacile’s film was dubbed into Egyptian Arabic by someone he doesn’t know, but he speaks enough Arabic to confirm that the translation is accurate. It was made in three months in the summer of 2011, with 59 actors and about 45 people behind the camera.

        • ObamaYoMoma

Hopefully, you didn’t post that nonsense to suggest that you believe it?

  • info warrior

Notice how right wingers never bring up US soldiers and diplomatic workers killed in Afghanistan almost every week.
The propaganda media wants them focused on Benghazi.

    • Northstar

How many US diplomats were killed in Afghanistan?

    • snafubar

      OK, I’ll bring it up.

Bush was in office for 8 years, including during the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, but nearly 75% of our soldiers killed in Afghanistan have been under Obama’s 5 years in the Oval Office.

      Is that better?

  • snafubar

Obama may have been in bed, but Reggie Love was giving him an oil change.

    He wasn’t sleeping.

  • MrUniteUs1

“Charles Woods is the father of Tyrone Woods, one of the Navy SEALS who disobeyed orders and heroically rushed to the rescue of the Benghazi mission personnel and was abandoned without support.”

He disobeyed orders saved no one at the mission, and probaby exposed the location of the safe house, putting everyone there at risk.

Right wing nuts live in fantasy world that ignores the violent attacks and demonstrations that took place in other countries, like Tunisia, Yemen, Lebanon. and other countries in response to the anti Muslim movie. What the President and others were during was working to save Americans lives.

    • Sashland

      you are a putrid liar.

      • MrUniteUs1

What lie do you think I told?
