CAIR Bullies Teacher for Calling Taliban and Hamas Bullies

The message here, as usual, is to warn off teachers from criticizing Islamist terrorist groups by crying bigotry. It’s more Islamist bullying aimed at a teacher who spoke out against Islamist bullying.

Mary Janda, a veteran teacher of 21 years at the Concrete Middle School in Concrete, Washington, is under attack by the radical Washington affiliate of Hamas-connected Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), accusing her of racism against Muslims.

The alleged incident occurred last October but the radical Islamic group began last month calling for federal investigators to look into the Concrete School District after the allegations that the teacher, Mary Janda, made racist remarks.

The district called the allegations completely false.

“Her “offense?”, “said Brigitte Gabriel. “During a class discussion on bullying, she referred to Hamas and the Taliban as examples of organizations that use violence to “bully people.”

One of the students in her class objected and said, “My father is a Muslim and these statements aren’t true.”

Residents who know of the teacher said they’ve never heard of any issues with her before.

“The kids that I know who’ve gone to the teacher have had no problems,” said Tabithia Hicks. “The teacher was well-liked, well-respected, and to hear this from this, I’m like, wait, this isn’t what we need here in Concrete. We’re not a bunch of racists.”

CAIR is claiming that Janda said that…  that “just like Hitler,” Muslims train their kids to be martyrs and to kill innocent people, when she was actually talking about Islamist terrorist groups, like some of the ones that CAIR supports.

The superintendent says they did an investigation and handled it internally, but CAIR called that inadequate.

“Our concern is that if this is what one student is coming forward to report, how many more times has this occurred and will this occur, and what kind of a message is the school district sending to other teachers that their behavior will be tolerated?” Gist said.

So after months of looking into it, CAIR hasn’t been able to come up with a single other complaint, but yet it’s calling for a Federal investigation based on a claim that the district shot down.

Janda wrote in response that CAIR had not even bothered talking to her before trying to sic Obama and Holder on her school.

“I explained to her (the student) that I was not talking about Muslims and Arabs in general but groups that chose to impose their will by training people to intimidate and kill other people. This discussion is not about religious beliefs. It is related to a state mandate that public schools teach students about bullying and not allow it.”

“I am surprised and saddened that no one from the (name blackened out) contacted me about (student’s name blackened out) perceptions of the day’s discussion. I would have hoped to have had an opportunity to personally recount the substance of that day’s work and engage in a dialogue to dispel any misinterpretations.”

“Likewise, I am also surprised that the organization (CAIR) filing the complaint did not contact me to hear my account of the class discussion before publicly criticizing me and my employer. I had absolutely no intention or nor did I disparage anyone’s religious beliefs and I regret any lingering misunderstandings.”

Sounds like someone's kid got brainwashed good by their Hamas-loving daddy.

Shouldn't CAIR demand Keith Ellison be investigated then?

Newspaper reports from the 1990s indicate Ellison was a supporter and activist for Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, even speaking on behalf of the group as a “representative.”

In 2006 that Ellison had used the names Keith X Ellison and Keith Ellison-Muhammad during his student days, writing columns in a student newspaper that defended Farrakhan against accusations of anti-Semitism. Ellison called for a separate nation for blacks.

NOI is considered a hate group.

NOI is considered a hate group by me, anyway. As far as I can remember, NOI was a hate-group. I think Mike Wallace of CBS did a story on NOI back in 1964 (?) called The Hate that Hate Produced. The title referred to NOI as a hate group, but today, thanks to a complicit lap dog media, Louis Farrakhan and the NOI is almost mainstream.

As a Canadian whose country has also experienced a lot of this Muslim nonsence, my main thought nowadays is really simple…. what the !###^*** are we going to do about it?

    • beez

Well for one thing, raise hell about them. Demand that the media do their job!

  • AdinaK

Oh yeah….CAIR really cares about "offending" Islamic terrorists! Nevertheless, they are part and parcel (the "go to" mouthpieces) of Washington's poohbahs. Never mind the fact that they are co-conspirators to the HolyLand Trial. Yes, THAT trial.

Alas, America's teachers would do well to assert their spines, lest all of America's kiddies are donned in burqas, themselves included –

    Save the kiddies!

I'm an education radical. I want an end to the Dept. of Education, a permanent return of control for all matters educational to state and local control. An end to the Colleges of Education in our universities excepting elementary pedagogy, teacher "certification," a complete return of teacher control over student discipline. In my regime, when the teacher says a student is not fit to be in his or her classroom, that student will be GONE from that teacher's classroom, no appeal whatsoever, short of extremely unusual cases involving proven teacher misconduct, period, and end of discussion. Separation of students based upon good conduct, willingness to learn, and academic success. The only way we can achieve this is to fully empower states to organize strong charter schools. Also, I would separate academic diploma bound students from students who choose a vocational career, and those who can't cut it in either program: they'd get only a certificate of attendance. Last thing, but most important: abolish all compulsory education, at least after the 6th grade. That way, parents would be responsible for what the schools are forced to do now. Return power to the teachers and responsibility to the parents.

hamas and the Taliban are terrorist organizations. If the hamas-linked cair supports hamas and the taliban then the hamas-linked cair is a group of terrorist supporters. It's come out that they follow the gutter-cult of islam, the one invented by the peophile mohamat (p*ss be upon him), who also created allah the moon-god, and he shat the koran. That could be why the terrorist supporters got upset with the school. cairorists aren't much for the truth.

One wonders why this teacher forgot to mention USA as the biggest bully around the world. Hamas/taliban are like small time newbies compared to it.
The teacher must be preparing the next generation of soldiers for the US Army.

    • Drakken

Oh look, another self hating, self loathing, it is all Americas fault that the muzzys hate us liberal/progressive who hates our military.

    • kaffir geoff

oh really, well miss america hater, who would you rather get bullied by. freedom loving america, or chop your head off if you don't convert pisslam?

    • Paul

I serve in the military and I can tell you one thing, you don't know very much about what we do to make a comment like that. The actions of a few do not reflect, nor should they define, the service of the thousands that serve, and have served, faithfully. So I suppose, based on your logic as stated above, all Germans were Nazi's and all Muslims are terrorists. In your failed logic you are articulating exactly what the student accused Ms. Janda of. While I believe the student simply misunderstood Ms. Janda, your ignorance everyone sees.

  • Toni_Pereira

Ahh! If only she said pearls of real knowledge like, the zionists want to take over the world, the Catholic Church is a vast conspiracy to abuse kids, etc, etc, she would be Superintendent by now.

  • @SwordShadowX

CAIR want any discussion of islam and islamist terrorist groups to be closed down unless it is CAIR approved.

It is appalling they are bullying this teacher.

  • PAthena

How can criticism of Islamist groups be "racist"? Mohammedanism is not a race but a religion.

  • Drakken

CAIR is a muslim jihadist terrorist group, Period! They must be dealt with as such right now, just look at who they have tried to cow into their way of thinking, until folks get right in their face and say a huge eff you, this will not change and people will cower in fear before them, I for one won't. I say this to CAIR, keep pushing us and that backlash you fear will come to pass, you adapt to our western ways and if you don't bloody well like it? Get out and leave to the islamic cesspit of your choice, for we will not submit to you and yours, EVER!

  • infideltaskforce

…so basically…CAIR proved the teacher correct. There ARE groups out there that will bully you to keep your mouths shut. GO ACT For America!! I wish I was wealthy I would fund her defense and turn around and sue CAIR for threats. )

  • Sam

Anytime you even look at these people wrong they cry racism and bigotry, when the REAL threat is them and their barbaric religion. I am so sick of these wacko's. Why do they want to live in our country? To take advantage of our freedoms until they turn our free society into a Islamist society. Make no mistake, that is their full intent. Beware.

  • @SaikiaNipon

They have successfully invaded the American polity due to the flawed sense of freedom of the American society. If it is not stopped now, things will become worse in days to come.

  • cougartwin

My question is,, since the FBI has withdrawn it's outreach to CAIR in 2009 for it's ties with Hamas and affiliated terrorist groups,,, how is it that anyone takes them seriously? CAIR are the bullies here.
