Dallas CAIR Director: “Muslims Are Above the Law of the Land.”

I for one welcome this new CAIR policy of honesty and openness. Any day now, maybe one of their directors will admit what they truly stand for.

A Council on American-Islamic Relations leader told a crowd at a rally for Islam that members of the faith should not be bound by American law.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.

The rally in Austin was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events. The event included a speech by a representative of Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, who declared that Texas was an awful place and that Islam was the answer.

“Why did Muhammad say that he would not rest until the Koran was the law of the land?”

“Islam does not have Texas in the current condition, the current socio-political condition that Texas is in. What is this condition that Texas is in? Why is Texas on the brink, when you look at Texas in comparison to 50 states, education, percent of population graduating from high school is 46, high school completion rate is 46, the scholastic assessment rate, the SAT score in Texas is 47, the percentage of population with no health insurance in Texas is first, those without health insurance Texas is first. When you look at the state of a child in Texas, the percentage of uninsured children, Texas is first… etc etc

You shouldn’t be filing legislation against Islam, when you look at Texas, Islam is not the problem. Islam is the solution. Allah Akbar.”

Clearly when we look at the literacy rates and health insurance rates in the Muslim world, we cannot help but see that Islam is the answer. That is assuming the question is how can we make Texas more like Somalia or Egypt.

Herman Mustafa Carroll had defended terrorists, perhaps on the same theory that Muslims are superior to the law of the land.

“I think you can only blame Hamas for so long. It takes two to tango. And I think, you know, that what we’ve heard for a number of years is this terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, was not just Hamas.”

“Look at the true cause of the terrorism. It’s not somebody is reading a book, reading a Quran, and then go out and say, ‘Well, the Quran told me to blow this up. I’m gonna blow it up.’ The cause, the root cause of terrorism is oppression. The root cause of terrorism is oppression.”

Oddly quite a few terrorists seem to read that book and blow people up. Others read the book and declare that Muslims are above the law of the land. It sounds as if these two phenomena share a common root cause.

I thought Nation of Islam Muslims and the old fashion regular Muslims didn't get along very well?

Well anyways, this has obviously been their belief for a long time. As we saw, a Muslim was allowed to be POTUS and he wasn't even born here.

  • Mike

Did the 'CAIR director' just figure out that all law abiding people are in fact above the law ? Gee, that's progressive thinking at its finest.
Imagine a world whereby law breakers are the only ones under the penalty of law …*chuckle

    • Hawk

Cair cries about hate crimes in the USA against muslims? Well what about what the muslim hate crimes against Jews in Europe? Jews in France are so scared that they are leaving. The same thing is going on all over Europe. So you muslims stop crying. The party is over.

    More assploding hypocrisy from CAIR.

Mustafa must have fallen off of the wagon or turnip truck, one of them to be sure. The baby
hat he is wearing reminds me of infants at large and I wonder at Islamist infantaside towards
Christians and Jews. Crime is below Mustafa's law, women and children are fair game in
shoving Sharia down the throats of innocents who are at risk by Islamist holy warriors who
have no bounds. How is it we allow air to be wasted on monsters who are here to subvert
and destroy. Texans get your house in order………………………William

      • JacksonPearson

Muslim apologists want to, in anyway they can, incrementally push sharia law into the United States. Once they get an inch, it'll be like cancer, and be like hell to every get it eradicated.
e.g., Muhammad started Islam in one small city in Saudi Arabia, and look where it's now.

  • Texas Patriot

Obama is the strongest opponent of Islamic terrorism in the world today, even more so than Benjamin Netanyahu. No other American president has been more ruthless in pursing Al Qaida, and no other American president had the honor of having a personal fatwah issued against him by Osama bin Ladin. All of this will become more clear in the years ahead. In the meantime, it should not escape the attention of the anti-Obama crowd that their opposition to Obama lines up very nicely with the forces of terror.

    • Fred

What many seem not to understand is that Obama is NOT a Muslim. Yes, he was raised as one, but he is a Marxist and fits in very nicely with the global elites’ plan for world domination through the venue of cultural Marxism (multiculturalism, political correctness, etc.).

Right now, the same global elite that installed Obama as president is also using the Muslim Brotherhood and Islam to do its dirty work of toppling one regime after another in the Middle East. Once toppled, an MB puppet is installed (like Morsi) and at some point in the future, the global elite will simply take over these nations publicly that they have been running from the shadows.

Obama is HARDLY “the strongest opponent of Islamic terrorism in the world today.” I have no idea where you – Texas Patriot – are getting that. He actually SIDES with terrorist factions because the global elite NEEDS them…for now, just as they need Obama…for now.

The fact that Obama continually gives BILLIONS to Morsi’s terrorist-related government as well as Syrian’s “freedom fighters” tells us that rather than setting himself against terror, Obama actually sides with it. He helped topple Mubarak, then Qaddafi as well as others. Why? Because the global elite wants to install MB puppets in each of these countries. Obama is not opposed to terrorists. Under orders from the global elite, he is USING terrorists to achieve what is deemed necessary by the global elite.

I hate to sound conspiratorial, but it seems to me that the global elite has been working overtime through Obama to gain the wins they need to eventually subdue the world. They chose wisely in installing him as president because of his apparent ties to Islam and the fact that he is a “person of color.” When people disagree with him or his policies, they are drowned out as racists. Yet, for the most part (bin Laden not withstanding), the Muslim world cheers Obama. They have even said he must step up and take his rightful place within Islam.

People need to wake up and understand that Cultural Marxism has been at work in America since the end of WWI. It has been moving steadily along in America, destroying it from within. Obama is merely the newest face of Cultural Marxism and he will be valuable until no longer needed by the global elite.

      • Texas Patriot

What is this "global elite" you are speaking of? Can you be a little more specific about that? Do they know each other? Do they communicate with each other? Or, are they more like Al Qaida in that they don't know or communicate with each other but rather act independently for the same common objective? And if that is the case, what exactly are their objectives? Any link to any information that would help to illuminate this idea would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Otherwise, I think it is clear that the world, including Obama, is slowly waking up to the nature and extent of the global jihadist threat. Clearly Bush didn't understand it, nor did any other American president before him. If anyone was excited by the so-called "Arab Spring" (and I think at first many conservatives saw it as a vindication of their policies in the middle east), those days are now over. However bad Mubarak and Gadahfy were, there is an entirely new reality in the middle east today, and the fundamentalist islamist Muslim Brotherhood is at the center of it.

Why do I think Obama is the strongest opponent of Islamic terrorism in the world today? Because actions speak louder than words. From my standpoint, Obama's ruthless efficiency in dismantling Al Qaida is but a foreshadowing of what we will see in the years immediately ahead.

        • Softly Bob

Obama's ruthless efficiency in dismantling al-Qaeda? So al-Qaeda have been dismantled have they?
          Er… if you say so.

          • Texas Patriot

So al-Qaeda have been dismantled have they?

I didn't say that. You did.

          • Texas Patriot

As Muammar Gaddafi said during his visit to the United States in 2009, there are probably Al Qaida sleeper cells throughout the United States, and he knew more about it than most of us ever will.

          • LibertarianToo

            So where's the "ruthless efficiency"?

          • Texas Patriot

I'd like to know the answer to that one, too. On first glance it might appear that Obama has done a much better job of eliminating terrorist cells in Pakistan than in America. But we can't be sure about that. In all fairness, Gaddafi was talking about the situation in 2009, less than a year after Obama took office. The truth is that Obama needs to be even more ruthless against the sleeper cells in America. Should he be able to use drones to get the job done? You bet.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"On first glance it might appear that Obama has done a much better job of eliminating terrorist cells in Pakistan than in America."

The first glance being listening to leftists.

"But we can't be sure about that."

We can't be sure that 0'Bama has them destroyed? They simply move when they run in to superior forces. And they see our mercy as evidence allah wants them to fight to victory. They must be defeated decisively if you want to take the threat away. They have not been beaten decisively and it's not clear at all that they've even been reduced at all. A few died. Wow.

"In all fairness, Gaddafi was talking about the situation in 2009, less than a year after Obama took office."

That Bush was not ruthless enough?

"The truth is that Obama needs to be even more ruthless against the sleeper cells in America."

            That's for sure.

"Should he be able to use drones to get the job done? You bet."

Anyone advocating drone use in US territories or the territories of our actual allies doesn't understand their use at all. They're for spying, and are adapted for use in precision "sniping" (as opposed to dropping 500-pound bombs) when we don't have enough control on the ground.

          • Texas Patriot

IMO, Bush was not ruthless enough. Basically he didn't follow the first rule of warfare: know your enemy. In all fairness, understanding the amorphous and ever-changing nature of the global jihadist threat is not an easy thing to do. But clearly, the Bush Doctrine of moving large, hugely expensive, and highly vulnerable land armies into the desert to be sniped and bled to death by a largely unseen enemy was not a wise strategy.

The Obama Doctrine of hitting their leadership whenever and wherever they may be found is vastly superior. Basically, the Obama strategy is to be even more stealthy than the terrorists. Here's a hint. Before you can beat an enemy, you have to be able to think like the enemy in order to anticipate their next move. Fortunately for America, Obama is probably one of the few people on earth with the capacity to do that.

And of course drones are the weapon of choice for that kind of warfare, both at home and abroad. Unmatched surveillance capacities and the ability to effectuate precision strikes are the keys, and drones have both.

          • objectivefactsmatter

This wasn't Bush alone in a room coming up with plans. Read about "transformation" and you'll find that we tried to change tactics too fast, forgetting fundamentals. They supposedly learned this lesson when they started promoting each of the "surges" which should have immediately followed the liquidation of the respective regimes.

I agree he wasn't "ruthless enough" but that was not something you can use to argue 0'Bama is superior because you give 0'Bama the benefit of every doubt while looking only at what Bush "could have" done if only things went better.

0'Bama didn't have to develop any war plans. All he did was show up and pretend to run the show after everyone else did that, and you give him credit where credit isn't really due. Using drones is politically safe. That's his only motive.

"The Obama Doctrine of hitting their leadership whenever and wherever they may be found is vastly superior."

Politically it's the only safe thing to do from the time he arrived in office.

"Basically, the Obama strategy is to be even more stealthy than the terrorists."

0'Bama the engineer developed all of that technology. Amazing. I didn't know this.

"Here's a hint. Before you can beat an enemy, you have to be able to think like the enemy in order to anticipate their next move. Fortunately for America, Obama is probably one of the few people on earth with the capacity to do that."

Unfortunately for the USA, he thinks like the enemy because he is in bed with the enemy. Actually he is a tool of the enemy. He's a bigger dupe of the Saudis than Bush.

"And of course drones are the weapon of choice for that kind of warfare, both at home and abroad. Unmatched surveillance capacities and the ability to effectuate precision strikes are the keys, and drones have both."

I have no problem with the drones. 0'Bama gets no credit for continuing the only program he deemed politically expedient to aggressively continue. So we are told.

          • Texas Patriot

We've always had the technology, but we haven't always had a president who was willing pull the trigger. Most presidents prefer to expend massive amounts of money and men rather than taking the most direct and expedient approach afforded by technology. Obama may be the exception. He has an opportunity to "defang" N. Korea and Iran with technology. Let's see what he does.

Not since the August 9, 1945. That is not to say we need 100% of our power to be deployed in every case, but losing through compromise with domestic enemies is very sad and makes me angry.

"What is he waiting for? Let;s just call it the right moment."

So he's a Hollywood script writer too and he knows that destroying the enemy too soon is boring and makes people disengage. We need to wait for the detonator to be on the last countdown and then send in the Seals, and THEN we nuke their facilities and roll end credits.

The right moment passed years ago because we are still to this day wasting time and money, distracting people from doing more productive things. But I'm sure 0'Bama knows best. There is no way the Saudis will allow America to tolerate a nuclear armed (Shia) Iranian regime. But it does serve Saudi interests to wait until the last minute. Maybe that is the right moment you refer to.

          • Texas Patriot

The right moment is when world opinion, particularly the Russians and the Chinese, is unanimous that the Iranians have no intent to abandon their nuclear weapons program, and that may well be at the last minute. There is really no alternative, though. Having the Russians and Chinese on board with what may need to be a nuclear strike against Iran is essential.

          • objectivefactsmatter

Then it ain't gon' happen. Don't you understand the Russians and Chinese love this face off, pitting the US against a renegade Shia? They love us fighting Iran the way smart people want Shia and Sunni to kill each other. They don't want it to end at all.

So you agree practically that it will never happen because that moment will never come. If he is waiting for "consensus," it's from Sunni factions like the Saudi nationals and others.

We don't even have consensus in the USA thanks to the Democratic Party and that includes your hero.

          • Texas Patriot

It's not true. The Cold War alignments are a thing of the past. At this point in time, the three greatest powers in the world are America, Russia, and China, and by far the greatest threat to the entire civilized world is islamic jihadism, and the Russians and the Chinese know this as much as we do.

Are the Russians and the Chinese going to unilaterally abandon their former surrogates N. Korea and Iran easily or quickly? No. But as we are seeing in the case of N. Korea, China is completely on board with us in clamping down on nuclear expansionism by N. Korea, and Russia will eventually be on board with us vis-a-vis Iran.

But in order for that to happen, we will need to give Iran every possible opportunity to stand down before we take matters into our own hands.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"It's not true. The Cold War alignments are a thing of the past. "

Being revised does not make something a thing of the past.

"At this point in time, the three greatest powers in the world are America, Russia, and China, and by far the greatest threat to the entire civilized world is islamic jihadism, and the Russians and the Chinese know this as much as we do."

Agreed. I simply disagree with your analysis of the implications. There's a simple logic to having everyone ganging up against the worst guy. That's not how it often happens. It won't play out like that here. I suspect you didn't understand what I wrote above. You didn't actually address my theory.

"Are the Russians and the Chinese going to unilaterally abandon their former surrogates N. Korea and Iran easily or quickly? No."

Agreed. There's not much reason to hang on to Korea though. The Chinese are doing this just to hammer the West for minimal cost. When those factors are less favorable, they'll change to the most favorable position for them. The Russians will do likewise. The Russians don't have the same interests as the Chinese, just in case that's not clear to you.

"But as we are seeing in the case of N. Korea, China is completely on board with us in clamping down on nuclear expansionism by N. Korea"

North Korea has nearly depleted its utility.

"and Russia will eventually be on board with us vis-a-vis Iran."

Iran has a lot of oil, and a lot more influence in the world than pariah North Korea. That's the first major failure in your analysis. I'm not worried about North Korea, other than their bilateral relationship with Iran. That means they're also willing to use religious terrorists, IOW Islam, as a tool against the West and the larger world if need be. They're aligned with the Islamists for political reasons.

So even if Russia professes to be "on board" with giving up Iran (which is doubtful), there is very little if any chance that Russia and China will profess simultaneous public support to take out Iranian nuclear programs. Too many of them think that Pakistan proves we can trust Islamic regimes with nuclear weapons. We've even got id-i-ots calling themselves conservatives who believe that containment is the best answer. 0'Bama knows this.

"But in order for that to happen, we will need to give Iran every possible opportunity to stand down before we take matters into our own hands."

That's the excuse. I know. But hey, it's not like Iran is an aggressive supporter of global Islamic terror. Is it?

Actually, I'm more impressed with how Obama is going after Al Qaida in places that the mighty neocons fear to tread, i.e. the politically sensitive areas of Pakistan and Yemen. Also I like the fact that he is more interested in killing Al Qaida with pinpoint drone strikes than in needlessly throwing away trillions of American dollars and thousands of American lives with hopelessly vulnerable land armies that do little more than needlessly pour massive amounts of American "blood and treasure" into the bottomless pits of middle easter deserts as his predecessors did. But if you are more interested in some sort of prehistoric paper trail, you can spend all the time on that you want. Be my guest.

Attending a communist Christian church run by a "Christian" who claims Islam has no theological conflicts with Christianity is not very good bone fides for someone who attended school as a Muslim. Not compelling evidence at all for someone who would have considered it practically fundamental to success in politics to claim faith in Christianity.

And a Muslim can claim Christianity because their ideology states that the "true Christians" were Muslims.

I need to understand your definition for "global elite." You know there is not one coherent "global conspiracy" I hope. There are factions that want to hijack elections to bring on their flavor of the new world order, but there is no single definition of what the "NWO" will be. It's just a phrase that without context doesn't mean anything specific other than a future different than what we've had in the past.

A global caliph would be just one example of a "NWO." Anarchists have other ideas, as do socialists, communists, and other delusional people. Some just envision the world with no dominant super power, because they think that all of the wars after WWII were due to America's aggression in opposing the peace loving communists. At the very least there are 2 competing conspiracies, but Id say they're not actually coordinating the way you think they are. They are driven by various radical ideologies. They are not driven by a coherent central command.

Oh I see, so when Obama calls the Fort Hood murders a 'workplace incident', when he employs members of the Muslim Brotherhood into his administration, when he deliberately does nothing to stop terrorism during the Benghazi attack, and when he tries to open U'S. borders to floods of illegal immigrants, jihadists and crminals, it's because he's an opponent of terrorism!
      I must have missed something.

      • Texas Patriot

        "I must have missed something."

I think that's a fair statement. If you look back over the long history of war between the East and West all the way back to the days of Alexander the Great, you will see that the oldest trick in the Eastern playbook is to lure Western armies into the desert where they can be stripped of blood and treasure. Obama is the first American president who hasn't fallen into that trap. The only way to win against the globalist jihadist threat is to be more invisible and more ruthless than they are, and that is precisely what Obama has done, and is doing, particularly in Pakistan. Otherwise, I think it is a fair statement that the West is still in the process of waking up to the nature and extent of the threat, and whatever mistakes Obama may have made pale into insignificance when compared with the mistakes of his predecessors.

I do agree that you are amusing, for you are long on mouth and short on facts.

          • Texas Patriot

The thing to focus on is how afraid Bush, McCain, and virtually everyone else in the pre-Obama leadership structure was of offending Pakistan. McCain argued in 2008 that unilateral drone strikes against Al Qaida would violate Pakistan's sovereignty. Obama ignored all that and went forward anyway with massive drone strikes against Al Qaida in remote areas of Pakistan where invasion would be difficult or impossible. That's what makes him great, IMO. Of course now that we discovered that Osama bin Ladin was hiding out in a luxury villa only a short distance from Pakistan's version of West Point, no one is worrying about Pakistan's sovereignty anymore. Like him or not, Obama is the best best we have for putting a silver bullet in Al Qaida's heart.

          • kevinh

Well, we know that *someone* went forward with the extra-judicial executions. We don't know explicitly that it was BHO, and given his liberal use of vacation, golf, and fundrasing, I don't think you can make a convincing argument that it was actually his policy, and that it wasn't in place before he came on and applied his "hands off management and leading from behind" style.

Er, that is beyond obvious that he feels free to bypass Congress.

Maybe you're right. He's after AQ, and at least prefers one brand of Sharia over the other. Hopefully that makes a difference to someone.

            Regards,

That's hilarious. I guess when Obama blows Iran's nuclear weapons facilities out of the ground, *someone else* will have done it, right?

"That's hilarious. I guess when Obama blows Iran's nuclear weapons facilities out of the ground, *someone else* will have done it, right?":

Will that blowing up Iran's nuke weapons facilities happen before, or after Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood reestablish the Middle East Caliphate?

          • Texas Patriot

The biggest surprise in store for the Muslim world is that Obama is not a Muslim. Never has been, and probably never will be. Obama is a born again Christian, but no one seems quite capable of believing that, so he let's them think what they want. Liberals think he's one of them. Muslims think he's one of them. But in fact he's a natural born son of a Kansas wild child whose father fought with Patton in WWII and whose mother built aircraft like Rosie the Riveter.

Because he's so hard to figure, he's Al Qaida's worst nightmare. However mysterious they are, he's more so. I'm no fan of how he has handled the domestic economy so far, although there is no question that we need to make some radical changes soon. But I give him very high marks in dealing with the menace of global Islamic jihad. Personally, I don't think we could have a better president at this moment in history if we tried to design one in a test tube.

Just hold onto your hats. By the time his second term is over, I predict that N. Korea and Iran will be toothless puppies, sans nukes, and sans outlaw regimes. Will anyone give him credit for that? I don't think he really cares. At this point, I think he's playing for keeps, and there's one thing on his mind: winning.

"The biggest surprise in store for the Muslim world is that Obama is not a Muslim. Never has been, and probably never will be."

According to Islamic law, he is a Muslim. Argue whether or not he's an apostate because it's the only point open for debate that is not definitely settled.

          • Texas Patriot

He's not a Muslim, and has never been a Muslim. His grandfather was a Muslim, but his father was an atheist. There is no "generation skipping" in Islamic law. If you're parents are not Muslim, you are not Muslim. Sorry, Charlie.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"He's not a Muslim, and has never been a Muslim. His grandfather was a Muslim, but his father was an atheist."

He was declared a Muslim by his parents when they entered him in school in Indonesia. He's a Muslim or an apostate.

          • Texas Patriot

His mother was an atheist, and his stepfather had no right to declare him anything. As stated above, his real father was an atheist.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"His mother was an atheist, and his stepfather had no right to declare him anything. As stated above, his real father was an atheist."

His mother did not prevent him from attending school using the name of his step-father as a Muslim. Even according to common law he was a Muslim. But I was actually referring to sharia. According to sharia, he is either a Muslim or an apostate.

You're arguments only have value rhetorically if you want to defend him "spiritually" to non-Muslims. I'm talking about the Islamic perspective. And under the circumstances, someone who prayed as a Muslim daily who then converts to Christianity doesn't wear rings with the name of a pagan moon god and then allow everyone to wonder why he acts like an atheist-political convert.

Every Muslim that knows the details we've discussed knows that he's a Muslim or an apostate.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"If you're parents are not Muslim, you are not Muslim."

            Care to rephrase that?

          • Texas Patriot

It's not that hard to understand. If neither one of his parents were Muslim, he did not automatically become a Muslim under Islamic law, and since he has never voluntarily chosen to convert to Islam, he is by definition not a Muslim.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"It's not that hard to understand."

I didn't misunderstand. I asked if you wanted to clarify your position, which you did.

"If neither one of his parents were Muslim, he did not automatically become a Muslim under Islamic law"

That's much better. It's also made of straw.

"and since he has never voluntarily chosen to convert to Islam, he is by definition not a Muslim."

Because there is "no compulsion in Islam," and Islam recognizes the age of majority to be higher than the age required for females to get married off by their families?

Not even 0'Bama knows what he believes from one moment to the next. He believes in himself and his Islamist and leftist allies.

But like I have explained, he was registered as Barry Soetero for school in Indonesia. Here is a scan of a relevant document embedded an article on the topic. http://www.wnd.com/2011/05/295289/

Let's see if you accept that he attended school as a Muslim under the adoptive name; Barry Soetoro.

          • Texas Patriot

He may have registered as Barry Soetoro in Malaysia to please his stepfather and to fit in. That doesn't make him a Muslim. I'm convinced that he's a born again Christian, and that he's sincere about it.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"He may have registered as Barry Soetoro in Malaysia to please his stepfather and to fit in."

You don't understand Islam. Motive is not relevant. Parents can deem children to be Muslim. Not just by birth.

"That doesn't make him a Muslim."

Once he went along, he was a Muslim in the eyes of Islam. He acknowledged it with his mouth.

You don't trust what he says huh? I don't either. But in this case, my beliefs don't matter.

"I'm convinced that he's a born again Christian, and that he's sincere about it."

I hear you. You're an eternal optimist who ignores all of the evidence not filtered by the leftist media. I'd love for the evidence to swing your way. Please believe that.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"Obama is a born again Christian, but no one seems quite capable of believing that, so he let's them think what they want."

It's never 0'Bama's fault for picking a church led by a gay ex-Muslim who "converted" to "true Christianity" (Islamic Christianity or Christianity according to Mohammed). And we know that politicians rarely lie about their beliefs. And we know that "born again Christians" always keep their jewelry dedicated to religions that deny the divinity of Christ.

"Liberals think he's one of them."

He can't be a liberal. I love him too much. He's my hero.

"Muslims think he's one of them."

Only according to sharia and his actions.

"But in fact he's a natural born son of a Kansas wild child whose father fought with Patton in WWII and whose mother built aircraft like Rosie the Riveter."

So 0'Bama's grandparents saved him from all of his own life decisions?

          • Texas Patriot

Hahaha. It's probably hard for you to imagine, but Obama is more of a real life Audie Murphy than anyone I have seen in a long time, and I make it a point to pay attention to such things.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"Hahaha. It's probably hard for you to imagine, but Obama is more of a real life Audie Murphy than anyone I have seen in a long time, and I make it a point to pay attention to such things."

I'm actually pretty good at understanding the delusions of other people. I have a lot of experience.

          • Texas Patriot

It's not a delusion. Obama reminds me of Audie Murphy, because he goes straight to the target without a lot of fanfare, and we haven't had a president like that since Eisenhower.

          • defcon 4

Huh? Are you off your meds or something? Audie Murphy was a patriot who fought for his country and received the Congressional Medal of Honor for doing so. How has Obama's community organizer past lived up to Audie Murphy's legacy?

          • JacksonPearson

You didn't answer my question???…Once more:

"That's hilarious. I guess when Obama blows Iran's nuclear weapons facilities out of the ground, *someone else* will have done it, right?"

Will that blowing up Iran's nuke weapons facilities happen before, or after Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood reestablish the Middle East Caliphate?

          • Texas Patriot

How would anybody know what the Muslim Brotherhood will do or when they would do it? There is no question they are now a force to be reckoned with in the middle east, but they have almost nothing to do with taking Iran's nuclear toys ways. As far as Obama being involved in reestablishing the Middle East Caliphate, you can't lay that at his feet. The seeds for the Arab Spring were laid long before he took office.

However odious the various Arab dictators were (Mubarak, Hussein, and Gaddafi were definitely not choir boys), they were a bulwark against Islamic fundamentalism and extremism. Taking out Saddam Hussein, although arguably necessary, was probably like removing the little Dutch Boy's finger from the dyke. Once the dam went, there was really nothing to stop the tsunami of fundamentalist islamist revolution, and that's where we are today.

          • JacksonPearson

There are many bad choir boys, in many different countries throughout the world, but it's not the United States business to be the world cop.

Yes, the Middle East Caliphate mess must be dropped at the feet of Obama. Because he stuck his nose under the tents of Egypt, Libya and now is directly in the mix of overthrowing the government of Syria, of which the battling there is almost at a stalemate. Syria has been taking more time than he had planned. Obama's talking about using military force against Iran's nuke weapons plants. Oh yes, Lebanon too, with the end goal to be the new Middle East Caliphate, controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood are Sunni Salafis Muslims.

But don't you find it strange, that a Pakistani Cleric would be nominating Barack H. Obama (a Christian) to head the ME Caliphate?…Which is supposed to be headquartered in Medina, Saudi Arabia?

          • Texas Patriot

"But don't you find it strange, that a Pakistani Cleric would be nominating Barack H. Obama (a Christian) to head the ME Caliphate?"

I find it laughable, and I'm sure Obama does too. But nothing coming out of the middle east really surprises me very much at this point. Perhaps I'm suffering from middle east fatigue, but I really don't think things will improve in that part of the world anytime soon. My general feeling is that, other than responding immediately and decisively with overwhelming force to direct security threats to the United States and our allies, we need to close the door on that chapter in our history, and start taking care of our business here at home. We have enough problems of our own, without worrying about theirs.

          • JacksonPearson

You can laugh all you want, but it's not a joking matter, because those are hard core facts.

Oh yes, the white house and most of our upper government have been infiltrating by the Muslim Brotherhood too!!!

No thanks to Barry Soetoro, your business at home is already here:

Now take what you've said and allow that to evolve in to a confession that you don't understand the coherent (yet largely false) narratives in their worldview. They're not insane. They're just deluded to the point of behaving like insane people from the perspectives of those who don't know the cultures driven by their beliefs.

"My general feeling is that, other than responding immediately and decisively with overwhelming force to direct security threats to the United States and our allies, we need to close the door on that chapter in our history, and start taking care of our business here at home. We're their problem and that makes them our problem, given their ideology and the cultural implications.

          • Texas Patriot

We've been their problem since the days of Thomas Jefferson. Islamic clerics have always understood that America is inconsistent with Islam. They didn't become our problem until we became dependent on their oil. Fortunately, that's a problem we can solve.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"Fortunately, that's a problem we can solve."

Today's weapons have more reach. Today's solutions must adapt to today's circumstances. There is no such thing as isolationism except as a philosophy for a class of the delusional.

I think you agree about that. Where we don't agree is the level of leftist and Islamic ideological penetration among Western leaders and how that impacts their decisions. That's our problem. It comes from within, because they prevent or interfere with our otherwise straightforward ability to solve external problems.

          • objectivefactsmatter

"The seeds for the Arab Spring were laid long before he took office."

            That's the leftist narrative.

And we also have history in Iran to learn from, which therefore makes me very disgusted to see how 0'Bama gave in to Islamic interests the moment he had the chance. I don't suppose you've read the text for his speech in Cairo in 2009, have you? What do you call that if not an open invitation?

          • Texas Patriot

As the Arab Spring or rather Islamist Spring continues to evolve, we'll see how Obama's views of the global jihadist threat continue to evolve. My view is that we didn't send in sufficient reinforcements at Benghazi, because it didn't fit the narrative that the Arab Spring was positive for democracy. If the "liberated" Libyans were friends of democracy, we could count on them to protect our embassy, right? That view of the meaning of the Arab Spring was resoundingly dispelled on 09/11/13, when the chant "Obama, Obama, We're All Osama" rang out in Arab capitals from Tripoli to Tunis to Cairo and beyond. Was Obama shocked by that? He probably was. So were many in the conservative corner who actually viewed the Arab Spring as a vindication of their policies (and the trillions we spent) in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is no basis for anyone to be under any illusions about the Arab Spring at this point, and the challenge we all face today is to adjust to reality and act accordingly. And that is what I expect Obama to do.

I was campaigning for Eisenhower when I was 3 years old (I may not have known a lot, but I knew how to say "I Like Ike", and everyone in my neighborhood knew how I felt about it), and also for Barry Goldwater when I was 15. Unfortunately, Goldwater was the last true conservative to run for President under the banner of the Republican Party. Unlike the "borrow and spend" conservatives of today, Goldwater believed in a balanced budget and eliminating our enemies as quickly and inexpensively as possible. If he were here today, he would be laughing at the absurd waste of money and time we have spent fighting Al Qaida. There is a better way of winning wars, and Barry Goldwater knew what it was. Hopefully we'll see the same kind of conservative approach from Obama. Personally, I think we will.

Care to put your money where your mouth is? $100 says the Communist and Islamist regimes will remain 2016. The only regime Obama will help topple is Syria's in order to install the Muslim Brotherhood, again. Oil prices will (as Obama promised) continue to rise and that Keystone pipeline won't get built.

          • Texas Patriot

Hahaha. No thanks. The stakes are already high enough as it is. If I'm wrong and Obama allows N. Korea and Iran to develop nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them on his watch, he will be regarded as the worst Commander-in-Chief in the history of America. But if I'm right, he will be regarded as the greatest CIC since Eisenhower. Not to mention the effect those two drastically different scenarios would have on us and the rest of the world. The wisdom of the entire foreign policy of the United States since the truce with N. Korea and the takeover of the American embassy in 1979 is riding on this outcome. We'll both lose a lot more than $100 if either of those two rogue states becomes a member of the "Nuclear Club".

Delusion is very common today. Westerners love to immerse themselves in delusion. It's a dominant feature of modern Western culture. It can happen to anyone. Ever watch a movie made in Hollywood? Most of the time when people quote false history to me, they got it from mass media, films, television and now historical revisionists who "don't bother" (refuse) to include footnoted references. Do people challenge these views, or simply decide which they "believe in the heart?"

There is massive delusion everywhere. I'm simply trying to help.

          • Texas Patriot

"There is massive delusion everywhere. I'm simply trying to help."

Unfortunately, delusion (or thinking we know something when we don't) is perhaps the singular characteristic of the human condition, and it has never been worse than in this the so-called Information Age. As Thomas Edison said, "We don't know one millionth of one percent about anything." As John Kennedy said, "The more our knowledge increases, the more our ignorance is revealed." And finally Socrates, widely reputed to be the wisest man in the ancient world, said, "The only thing I know with any certainty is the fact of my own ignorance."

So if you want to help others get over their delusion, first take a look in the mirror and try to get over your own delusions. As Jesus said, if we first find a way to take the plank out of our own eye, then perhaps we can see clearly enough to take the splinter out of our brother's eye."

Our entire conversation comes down to this: I think Obama is America's best friend and best weapon in the war against global Islamic jihad, and you think he is our worst enemy and worst liability.

One of us is clearly mistaken.

Adam Smith style capitalism in America has been betrayed by international businesses that have moved entire industries offshore and put millions of Americans out of work, and that's a process that's been underway for at least the last forty years.

For a good discussion of the effects of de-industrialization on the American economy, see "Innovation Economics" by Dr. Robert Atkinson and Stephen Ezelle. Here's a video introducing the book last October:

Bringing manufacturing jobs and industries back to America is the only chance we have to avoid a complete economic disaster, and on that front too, I expect Obama to show his true colors and lead our economic recovery as an American patriot.

In theory there is nothing wrong with that. The problem comes again fro the left when they insist we don't create level playing fields. They characterize that as "neo-colonialism" because we're richer. It would be "exploitation." They want to allow former "victims" of "colonialism" to "catch up" when all it does is help strengthen various oligarchies like the current Chinese regime.

"Bringing manufacturing jobs and industries back to America is the only chance we have to avoid a complete economic disaster"

It's the best chance but it won't happen. The reason? Few understand economics and analysis of root causes.

" and on that front too, I expect Obama to show his true colors and lead our economic recovery as an American patriot."

Solyndra and GM say that he'll fail anything he tries to do there. 0'Bama would have to be reborn as an entirely new person in order to change enough to do anything productive in relation to the economy. Our best chance is to contain him.

0'Bama is a Red Green "American" patriot alright. He's just as patriotic as Frank Marshall Davis, with a much smoother rap.

          • Texas Patriot

The key to understanding Al Qaida is that any Muslim, anywhere, can decide that his religious duty requires him to undertake a jihad against Americans or anyone else, and at that moment, he can secretly decide on his own to become a member of Al Qaida and to wait, as long as necessary, for an opportune moment to act. He doesn't have to declare his decision to anyone else, and he doesn't need permission from anyone else. He just has to believe that his religious duty requires him to act, and that therefore he will act. At the precise moment the decision is made, he is effectively a member of Al Qaida, even if no one else on earth knows it but him. And in case the West hadn't figured all that out, rioters in Cario, Tunis, Libya and other Muslim countries took up the chant, "Obama, Obama, We're All Osama." No one can accuse the West of being "quick" to figure all this out, but now that it's been more than 40 years since the Munich Olympics and more than 10 years since 9/11, I think the light is beginning to dawn.

          • Texas Patriot

The chant "Obama, Obama, We're All Osama" occurred spontaneously throughout the Muslim world on 09/11/12, the precise day of the Benghazi attack. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/19/opinion/the-ame… No, Al Qaida is by no means dead. But rather it is alive and well and probably growing all the time. Does Obama understand this? If he didn't before Benghazi, he does now.

It's a good thing Obama is flooding the US with Muslim immigrants. More Osama Bin Ladens with citizenship will surely make the US much safer. It's a good thing Dems want to ban guns. 0'Bama is not afraid of them because Pakistan and 0'Bama are each Sunni. They coordinate the puppet show together, probably through the Saudis.

Before 0'Bama Pakistan was known as a fr-enemy. 0'Bama has closer relationships with the enemy side. That's why he wasn't worried about that trivial detail.

"Obama ignored all that and went forward anyway with massive drone strikes against Al Qaida in remote areas of Pakistan where invasion would be difficult or impossible."

Which chopper did he pilot? I forgot. The risks to 0'Bama? Just about zero.

"Like him or not, Obama is the best best we have for putting a silver bullet in Al Qaida's heart."

We see how frightened they are too. I think we need another UN speech from the 0 and they'll probably just give up hope and turn towards "peaceful Islam."

Do you remember the speech where he said, "The future must not belong to those who terrorize non-Muslims in the name of Islam."

I didn't say they want to destroy the Shia yet. Some times they do though. But 0'Bama is more concerned with diminishing or destroying the West first, mostly the USA. Nobody can deny that he does not want the USA to be a superpower. He considers the USA to be a "colonial" tyrant. When he talks about the USA being great, he's talking about the "great victories" of the left that he expects to expand on.

"But 0'Bama is more concerned with diminishing or destroying the West first, mostly the USA."

No he's not. The West has been destroyed or at least severely weakened by forty years of misguided economic and social policy which consisted of (1) hopeless and hugely expensive foreign wars, (2) dismantling our domestic manufacturing economy and shipping it overseas, and (3) a steady erosion of our education and health systems such that although we pay more per capita for education and health care than any nation in the world, we are the least physically fit society on earth and the performance of our high school graduates ranks 21st and 24th in the world in critical categories of science and math. None of these things can be blamed on Obama. I voted for Romney in the last election because I thought he had a better chance of addressing these problems, but the problems themselves have been created over multiple decades and multiple presidents of both parties. And at this point they are probably greater than any one man or woman has the capacity to change. If we want to turn the ship of state around, we the American people must take responsibility for the future and make the necessary changes ourselves.

Bill Ayers hates 0'Bama. 0'Bama always talks about the American entrepreneurial spirit and transcends racism and other petty tools of division. He's a true American hero. He's the Democrat's Ronald Reagan. Just ask 0'Bama. He'll swear it's all true.

That's how Alexander "lost," or he's "Eastern" while his foes represent "the West?" Ever since WWI, we've pitied these people. We don't get outmaneuvered by the enemy. Here's a hint. $4 trillion poured into the bottomless of the middle east without anything to show for it is "losing" in anybody's book, and it played precisely into the hands of Al Qaida in accordance with the ancient strategy of luring their enemies into the deserts to die. We took out Saddam Hussein's army in two weeks. At that point it was time to leave. What we should have done is turned over the peace-keeping to the French, and let our armies finish the job on Iran while we were still there. Two more weeks and that job would have been finished as well, at a cost of a LOT less than $4 trillion. No, as sure as we're sitting here, we played precisely into the ancient trap set for Western Armies. Alexander was an exception to the rule. Almost every other Western army that ventured into the deserts of the middle east never came out again. We are lucky to get our guys out alive without loosing a lot more "blood and treasure" than we did.

That's true. I blame leftists for that. I don't know how "ancient" that is unless you want to talk about Saladin or someone like that. But my point is that we didn't run out of resources because we're poor or stupid. We run ourselves in circles trying to appease leftists and dupes.

"Alexander was an exception to the rule."

            You cited him, not me.

"Almost every other Western army that ventured into the deserts of the middle east never came out again."

No, the crusaders lost because they were some times too anxious over unfamiliar terrain. Modern Western military defeats in the desert don't actually happen. The defeats happen in the streets of Washington DC, Berkeley, New York, Chicago etc.

Bush lost politically at home because he believed that all of the leftist liars were behind him when they pledged solidarity, but they were still seething over the supposed stolen election. But really that wasn't even critical as a reason. They would have done the same thing but used some other rallying cry.

The most dangerous enemy of the West is on the left, who empower those who would rule over us under Islamic law. So those two problems go together.

"We are lucky to get our guys out alive without loosing a lot more "blood and treasure" than we did."

You completely underestimate how much stronger we are militarily. Our "defeats" are delivered via the left. We weren't lucky or unlucky. We are betrayed daily.

The $4 trillion we spent on Iraq and Afghanistan was borrowed money, and money we could have used to rebuild our manufacturing infrastructure and our economy. The fact that it was meaninglessly poured into the deserts of the middle east is a major victory for Islamists. The only thing to do now is learn from our mistakes and find a quicker, more expedient, and less expensive way of defanging and neutralizing existential threats to America and our allies. Sending highly expensive and highly vulnerable land armies into the deserts of the middle east is a formula for disaster.

Actually W had a Fatwa on him issued by bin Laden, and most of W's cabinet was involved too. Plus W drew fatwa’s from several other radical clerics. But I digress. And one could argue that initiating the war in Afghanistan and Iraq was far more aggressive than Obama's occasional drone strikes and constant calls for withdrawal and appeasement. I believe it was Obama who wanted to try terrorists in Civilian courts as mere law breakers and not in tribunals as enemies of the state. I believe it was Obama who failed to negotiate a status of forces agreement causing us to prematurely withdraw from Iraq. I believe it was Obama who supported al Qaeda in Libya and the Ikwain in Egypt.

Islam is not a religion, but rather, a vicious Cult that maintains subjugation, especially for women.

Islam is a haven for men, in that for over approximately 1990 years, according to their Koran,

males have been the dominant factor is Muslim life, not women. When Democracy becomes a

household name, men will lose their positions of dominance and will have to be shared with women,

therefore, remains the unrest in the Middle East and their radical quest to seek a global Caliphate.

Throughout history, cults have not readily endured and continue to be replaced by forms of democracy.

Obama was raised primarily by his white grandparents (originally from Kansas), in Hawaii. Obama has been seen not only eating pork, but also drinking beer (both a sin in islam). If you want to slam Obama for his policies, go right ahead, if you want to bash Obama for being an ineffective president , feel free. BUT… please stop these ridiculous claims that he wasn't born in the US or that he's a muslim. I don't know who's more stupid, the "birthers" or the "truthers".

    • Texas Patriot

It's not a matter of being stupid. It's more a case of extreme denial and self-deception. Obama makes some men (particularly the phony conservative, neocon, etc. etc. variety) feel like the weak little cowards that they really are. So they make up lies about him. It soothes their conscience and keeps them from having to look in the mirror and see themselves as they really are. It's their last desperate attempt to avoid admitting how disastrous their defense and economic policies have been for America over the last forty years. Lying to yourself (and everyone else) is always much easier than facing the truth, so that's what they do.

      • semperfi_brat

I think you are projecting your delusions onto others.

The State of Hawaii cannot release one's birth certificate. The most recent version (remember – there was one released during the 2008 campaign that obama's campaign withdrew) of obama's birth certificate was released by the White House, seemingly at the urging of Donald Trump. That birth certificate – along with obama's Selective Service registration – were proven to be false through forensic analysis. That does not mean obama was not born in Hawaii – only that he has not proven that he was.

        • Texas Patriot

Hahaha. Let me ask you this. If Obama defangs N. Korea AND Iran without the loss of a single American life, are you still going to be worrying about his birth certificate?

There are excellent reasons why non-Muslims in Western countries are against Muslim immigration and vehemently against the shocking cruelty and enslavement under sharia. It’s called SURVIVAL! It’s called wanting to live in SAFETY.

Under Islam, Egypt’s Christians have lived in hell for centuries. The kidnappings, rapes and violent conversion to Islam of Christian children and other horrors has worsened under the Muslim Brotherhood. What happened to Christian Egypt is a WARNING to the world.

The next stage of a nation conquered by Muslims is the MASSIVE kidnapping of non-Muslim female CHRISTIAN children by male Muslims. The kidnappings are perpetrated with the full cooperation of ruling elites, courts and the police. The agonized parents NEVER get their beloved children back. The severely abused, terrorized girls are FOREVER separated from their loving parents and family. These terrible crimes against God and humanity must NOT be allowed to happen in America, Europe and Britain!

Egyptian Christian Copts cry out in agony:
SAVE US O LORD! WE HAVE NONE BUT YOU!

Comment by Egyptian Christian Copt underneath video:

“OUR WOMEN ARE TO BE ENSLAVED IN ISLAM OUR MEN ARE TO BE KILLED AND AMERICA RECEIVES MILLIONS OF ISLAMISTS WITH OPEN ARM AND REFUSE TO GIVE US ASYLUM.”

These crimes against non-Muslim innocents must not be allowed to happen in ANY Western nation! In Britain and Europe, UK and European ruling elites have colonized their countries with many millions of Muslims: CONQUEST by DEMOGRAPHICS!

This dreadful crime against innocent non-Muslim humanity must be stopped now!

THIS is what MASSIVE MUSLIM IMMIGRATION has CREATED:

Noyt all Muslims are like that!

Every Muslim desire, wherever they are, to live under Shariah Law.

If they think they are above the law, DEPORT THEM, their wives, children, grandfathers, gransdmothers, uncles, aunts, neices and their PETS. I have been extremely respectful of EVERY MUSLIM I HAVE MET, yet TWO of them sought to have me fired on a flat out LIE last week. The Islamic people they have NO RIGHT, to apply THEIR LAW in this or any other non Muslim land. They are pushing for DEMOCRATIC MAJORITIES in may nations, because CHRISTIAN REFUSE TO HAVE CHILDREN and ABORT BILLIONS across the world. Muslims HATE ABORTION, they just slaughter the opposition and seek to win the election.

THINKING CAPS GUYS: Get them on.

The attrocities of Muslim are usually measured against what goes on in ISRAEL. How about the 100 MILLION INDIANS who were SLAUGHTERED by the MUSLIM in that region? Did they go to court? NO they marched on and created their own couintries, which could not live with one another.

Three-quarters of the 100 million people unable to read or write in the 21 Arab countries are aged between 15 and 45 years old, Alecso said in a statement.Equally alarming, some 46.5% of women in the region are illiterate, the organisation reported, urging governments to put the fight against illiteracy at the top of their agendas.[6]

There is no such thing as an “honest or truthful” Muslim. In outward appearance they seem to be hard working honest people but they are obliged under the threat of eternal punishment to obey and fulfill the brutal and perverted doctrines of the fairy tale of Mahomet. Islam is a slave trade cult that was started by a sick pedophile who raped and married an 11 year old girl. The instances of them murdering their daughters in America are so numerous that if Baptists conducted themselves like the Muslims there would be an outcry to end them. Instead, the political party of Islam is allowed to be protected far and above any Christian belief in America, even permeating to the military where a Muslim slob murdered 13 American service men in the name of his cult and yet they still get protection. Never has Christianity attacked the military like this yet the military is outlawing Christianity and massaging the butchers of Mahomet.

The only reason or way that the madness of Mahomet is above the law of the law is because the cowards that are suppose to serve us cower at the thought of offending the pedophiles. When once the truth of the pervert, thief, adulterer and liar Mahomet is exposed people will realize that we are dealing with a bunch of animals that don’t deserve to breath the free air of America. They hate us, let them go back to their mud huts and poverty and we will be free and satisfied and better off without their religion of murder.

    • Jim Bart

Just one small correction.. Aisha, Muhammad’s wife, was the third and youngest, there are many reports she was 6 when he married her and 9 when he consummated the marriage. Anyway you look at it, This guy was sick!!

          • Mel

Technically, Muhammad would NOT have been eligible for paradise. According to his own word, being killed by a Jew or a woman would negate his eligibility. Its said that he was either killed by Aisha or a Jewish woman….Either way, even in his own standard, he couldn’t go. That leaves only one other option for him……Go figure….

WE…the west Texas population are in a “wait for it” mode….ready and willing to defend this state and country when the time comes…..Presently, we are educating people to the preparedness mindset in every aspect. Just because we are Texans does not men we can just take to the streets with guns blazing and take them all out !!! We would be under martial law in a matter of minutes. Its not all old west and shoot em up cowboys out here….Does Texas have the responsibility to defend the whole country?? I assure you that will NOT happen….STAND YOUR OWN GROUND!!!! Leave Texas to the Texans. If you want us to protect you…I suggest you relocate here, otherwise, lock and load…

This idiot, Deny every thing in Islam, YET believing in one Hadith, Which is “Saying of People, Which is collected 200 years after the Death of The Prophet. By the Way, The Hadith is worst than the Bible. You can’t trust the Hadith as same as the Bible. The People always made up things. By the way, This Wife of the Prophet was hated by most of the Muslims “Shia” sect. Till Today, they are still insulting her. So, don’t be surprised If you find such fake “Saying” against this Wife. The Ku Klux Klan was speaking.

Obama has not missed ONE Muslim holiday, yet didn’t mention the WH egg roll as Easter. They help Ramadan feasts and there are prayer mats in the WH.Its an OBAMANATION

      • Stephen Zeigler

Simon, as I see you use obama for a photo, one can simply assertain your misguided views. You start your comments to Mike by calling him an “idiot”. Where is your brotherly love and why not address him with respect and then make your comment as we are all entitled to. Each person has certain beliefs they have learned thru home, school, friends, news, reading, self education etc. Your views are yours, it does not mean they are correct because you want to be or think they are. You fail to show proof as to the wife’s age. In effect you do not prove your point by calling someone else an idiot. What we do know to be FACTS, the twin towers are gone, destroyed by followers of Islam. We do know to be facts that millions have died in the course of history as a result of this false religion. The Koran speaks more of killing where in the Bible declares we “love thy neighbor”. Yes there is killing in the Bible and for good reason, it is eveil and God would have us destroy it. Your time is coming and God will strike down those which bring hate and distruction to the land. Sir I say to you, live and let live. Do not project your faith on me and my family and neithr shall I force mine apond yours. When you insist and try to destroy that which clearly belongs to another you will be brought to bear for your crimes and God will be your judge.

        • CJones

Stephen I wish all kooky comments where responded to as thoughtfully and respectfully as you just did. Too many hurt our cause by climbing down into the gutter with the other side and start insulting, name calling and insisting they believe as they do. You are an inspiration. Kill them with kindness was taught to me, and I hope that others follow your lead.

          • Mel

        Muslim convert alert…….!!!!!

      • El Pollo Locro

The consensus of Sahih Sittah is that her age was 6 at marriage and 9 at consummation. (By the way, this is 9 Islamic years…lunar years…so by our Gregorian reckoning of time she was even younger!) Muhammad was over 50 years old when he put his penis inside a little girl. He had sex with a child. Deal with it buddy. That’s your “perfect example”. I’m glad he’s not mine!

Sahih al-Bukhari 3895: “. . . and he consummated that marriage when she was nine years old.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 5133: “. . . and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old.”

Sahih Muslim 3309: “. . . and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine.”

Sahih Muslim 3311: “ . . . and she was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her . . .”

Sunan Abu Dawud 2116: “Aisha said: . . . He had intercourse with me when I was nine years old.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 6130: “Narrated Aishah: ‘I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet’ . . . It was allowed for Aishah at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.”

    • Richard StJohn

His last and most desired wife was age six at marriage. A philosophy of a pedophile. Raped young girls are stoned to death for having sex with a man not their husband. The religion of peace is a sick and twisted joke

    • John Pezzullo

No such thing as “an honest Muslim”? So they’re in the same camp as Christians and other religions then you say? All religions = bad. Any of which alone, with enough power could cause the downfall of humanity, or at least set us back centuries as they have repeatedly throughout time.

      • Maxine Kreider

Sorry but all religion is not bad. There is so much good in the world that is overlooked by the meanness of people like John Pezzullo. My daughter once asked how could I believe in God. I asked her how she couldn’t believe in God. She now works for a church and sees the good that is done. You only have to look in a microscope and at the pictures from space to recognize there really is a God.

        • John Pezzullo

Funny, looking at the universe as a while (pictures from Hubbel, etc…) was the proverbial nail in the coffin to the possibility for me.

I see where you’re going with what you said but I disagree. I often hear the argument that religion does good because living a good religious life doesn’t harm anyone and the work that churches/religion do does help people. But in the overall scheme of humanity every person that would rather believe in a God and live under those conditions is one more person that closes them self off to the sciences, rejects the obviousness off evolution, etc..People that want to believe climate change isn’t happening because “God” is in control, or that if it happening it is because God wants it to. Sorry, even the good that religion does is counter balanced by what is lost.

islam is not an offshoot of Christianity…That is a lie..Muhammad was a well traveled man..who saw that the people who practiced the Christian and jewish faiths would do anything for their god..He was a war lord that used this knowledge to conquer Africa and Europe. He TWISTED christinanity to serve his own purpose.. He gave people the same faith in his false religion so that he could control them..God said we must conquer this land..God said to die for the cause…Mohammed was a warlord..not the leader of a real religion…Period

            sources?.

          • jimzimmerman

Brad don’t be so lazy. Try a library. Islam was founded 600 years after Christ was crucified. That gives Christianity a 600 year head start on Islam. Mohammad was born 647AD.

          • Maxine Kreider

The good is not done by the religion but is done by the people who believe in the religion. I do not attribute all good or bad to God. I do not force religion upon anyone but I do not want people telling me not to believe in God because they do not. You attribute to much to God. God does not sit around with a tally board to record good and evil or even conformity of thought. Good and evil is always a choice. We are born with a blank soul and our lives will reflect the good or evil we choose. Is climate change happening? Of course it is and there isn’t a damn thing you or I or governments can do about it.

          • Chubby Freen

I find it interesting that people believe “Climate Change” IS happening because Al Gore said so–and he sells the “carbon offsets” that will save the world. Gore isn’t a scientist–in fact, he took a semester of science at Harvard and earned a good, strong “D”. There is NO scientist that has used data from THERMOMETERS placed across the world who claims the earth is warmer or colder. A computer model, used by Al Gore and his money grabbing pals in the UN who wish to tax all energy (even cow farts–there’s some “science” for you) are the only people who do…

          • SteveFinSC

Just to clarify, Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You can sit in church every Sunday and still go to He11. Not everyone who says they’re a Christian is actually one. If one is not trying to live a “Christ-like” life is not much of a Christian. If you’re killing in the name of Christ you’re not doing His will. He taught the exact opposite. Not everything done by “Christians” is within Christ’s will. Don’t judge all Christians by the conduct of earthly “Christian” constructs (churches and religious organizations) which were often created for man’s pruposes, not God’s.

        • a view from street level

really a god please?God is a man made thing to control people

          • JD

Correction. God giving dominion of the earth to man is not why the earth is in the state is in. By that comment you are saying that God made a mistake, that it is God’s fault. It is the SIN of man or the disobedience to God by man that has caused the earth to be in its current state.

Actually you are wrong when you claim all religion is bad. Not all religions kill people who do not believe as they do. Sure all religions try to preach to you, but they do not kill you for not believing. Only one religion does that and claims they are above the law. That one religion would be Islam.

          • abqblondie2

The designation of religion should be removed from islam. It should be called the subversive, terrorist, malicious government entity that it is. It should be banned in the United States, as it is in Japan. Being a muslim is not compatible with the laws of the US. So muslims should have a choice of leaving the country, or suffering the penalty for treason.

“Mahomet” is a town in central Illinois. As to “letting” them go back to their mud huts, etc., they won’t go voluntarily, so, let’s just start suicide bombing them.

“Mahomet” was also another name for Mohammed. It would be interesting to know how the founders of Mahomet IL got the idea for the name.

I don’t necessarily agree with the doctrine of Islam, But I can respect the Muslims for their zeal for their religion. Americans are always quick to point out about other religions short comings but fail to talk about the short comings of Christianity.

This is what we’re supposed to just accept? Go f*** yourself!!! Sharia Law allows for the stoning of rape victims, gives instruction on proper ways to beat your wife, orders murder of unbelievers, and their prophet was a pedophile who married a six year old. These are facts. And the last I checked, here in America, we call them felonies.

  • Coastie

If Muslims are above the law of the land then they should receive no protection by that law. OK, open season on practicing Muslims with no bag limit!

    • dghealy

I know how you feel but I dont think you really want to kill women and children because of their religion. I think you want to protect the right to any religion. But when you say things like your post, it inflames and permits the extremists to talk smack and do Sh!t.

      • Coastie

Sorry to disappoint you but I meant what I said. If they believe they are above the law then they have not protection by the law. By saying what I said, “Mustafa Carroll and his ilk” should think about what the consequences of his statements bring about. Also after nine years enforcing the law it PO’s me that so many think they are above the law. I have dead shipmates because some worthless waste of food and oxygen could empty his weapon at my boarding team and then drop his weapon and we could not do a thing to him because all of a sudden he had the protection of the law. That is the excrement of several well fed bovine critters. If the women and children of the faith are not ignoring the law then they are not in danger. Do you not understand the word PRACTICING? Those who act outside the law are unprotected, those who do not act outside it should be protected by it.

        • dghealy

Every common and extreme criminal thinks he is above the Law and that it does not apply to him. And yet he is as protected by the Law as you and I are. A vigorous defence is proof of a just prosecution. That is how it works under our Constitution.and that is why we will always suffer for our goodness and we will always be exceptional. Irregardless of the POTUS’s insanity.

  • http://www.corruptioneruption.blogspot.com/ Laura StraightUp

The Dumbass just put a target on his rag head. If he’s above the laws of the land he lives in, he’s an outlaw, a threat to the life and liberty of it’s law abiding citizens, which makes him dangerous and someone to legally protect ourselves from. Texas WILL be a horrible place for him if he doesn’t retract that statement. I hope law enforcement gets on his ass and sets him straight, as well as informing the public when they let this guy spend a night in Lew Sterritt for those menacing words, and makes him stay until he retracts that statement and is informed of his misguided words that could land him back in jail or in a morgue. Damn enemy combatants allowed to live here is effing nuts. Send them to their homeland – here they’re just sociopaths.

I’ve got a poser for ya:

If Islam is the “religion of peace”, where in Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid’s article on jihad can I find the equivalent of “Love Thy Neighbor”? “and good will toward men”? And explain its prominence, and significance almost as an “Introduction”, in a book that’s considered second only to the Koran: My Summarized Sahih Al-Bukhari. Also address “jihad” as it’s defined in Reliance of the Traveller and answer the same question. (Chapter O-9.0: Jihad O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And explain why the “greater” jihad is only mentioned once here and never seen again.) Also compare Humaid’s “jihad” and Emmet Fox’ Sermon on the Mount and tell me which one best represents a spirit of Love and compassion. And explain why Humaid’s “jihad” shouldn’t be “Exhibit A” in refuting the “religion of peace” claim.

Jihad in the Qur’an and Sunnah by ‘Sheikh Abdullâh bin Muhammad bin Humaid

To become Muslim is a sin against G-d because of what Islam represents in its pagan worship and how it treats women and children and other people…period. Islam was corrupted faster than Judaism and Christianity by men who refused to change and walk a better path. They changed Islam to reflect them and it still reflects their worship of base behaviors. They talk out of both sides of their mouths and promote behaviors that reflect their own personal beliefs rather than striving to become better humans. They deny this and do as they please and say it it is Allah that makes them do this, and I say it is their own beliefs that drive them and that they have turned Allah into another pagan god of their own creation.

      • FreedomSpeaks

That is the biggest misconception and lie of Islam to catch people off guard, like you. The God of the Bible has chosen his people, they are the Christians and the Jews. the god of Islam states very clearly over and over that the Christians and Jews must be annihilated. Same god? I think not. Who better than Satan to use a religion to rise above God and destroy everything that God-Jehovah loves and protects? Islam wants so desperately to be mentioned in the Bible. Well, they are. In reference. Islam is the religion of the anti-christ, and the Beast of prophecy. The Beast is rising. Islam is at war with the world and has been for nearly 1400 years as instructed by their pedophile prophet and their books, the quran and the Hadith.

The warlord Mohamet was trying to motivate his troops by promising them 72 virgins in heaven and unlimited sex from the captured and generous share of the booty. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Decapitation is murder. Honor killings are murder. This is probably the least evolved religion in the world if you could call it one because it is rooted in pedophilia, murder, non acceptance of any other religion. It is primitive religion which appeals to the emotionally pliable, uneducated useful idiots out there. Which unfortunately there are many. Wrath; one of the seven deadly sins so appealing to this group. This is not a peaceful religion.

The guy was no dummy to chose Austin, open cesspool of liberalism, to talk down American values. May have been running for cover in another town. Too bad that Baptist don’t believe in killing for religion. The pastor could have called for a jihad and sent a bunch of Baptists in suicide vest to go and infiltrate the crowd. The Muslim crowd would learn to run when they hear ‘Onward Christian Soldier’ being sung before the ball-bearing, screws and nail tear them to shreds. For some reason, Christians don’t think this is proper to indiscriminately kill people for God.

  • tncdel

Islam is ORGANIZED CRIME operating under the guise of religion, and the Quran itself is AN INSTRUMENT OF CRIME. For it commands ALL Muslims [not some or a few of them] to kill, oppress and annihilate all who don’t believe as they do.

    See this educational video here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib9rofXQl6w

Additionally, each and every right under the Constitution is subject to restraint or forfeiture, if it conflicts with the constitutional rights of others. For example, we all have the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness under the Constitution. But if you kill your neighbor because his dog crapped on your lawn, you can lose all those rights.

So too things like the “Jim Jones kool-aid party” and what the Quran commands are NOT protected under the Constitution. Courts are required to apply the “balancing of the scales” analysis, when opposing sides in a case maintain that they have a right under the Constitution. And the judge must determine WHICH side has the greater claim to “right” under the Constitution and which side would suffer the greatest harm by allowing the opposing side to exercise the right that they claim.

To put things in perspective, YOU play the judge in the following case, then tell us your verdict:

Side A alleges it has a right to kill, oppress and annihilate anyone who believes differently than they do.

Side B alleges that they have a right to NOT be killed, oppressed or annihilated.

So please tell us, WHICH side, side A or side B, would you rule in favor of.

If you say side B, then your initial argument has been admitted by you as frivolous.

If you say side A, then you have no respect for equal justice under the Constitution.

Well OK so they are above the law, that means they are not subject to the laws of our land, correct? would that also mean that they are not afforded the protection of said laws and there for if you felt inclined to take a sword or meat cleaver to one of them there should be no legal repercussions to you! I mean if they are not of our laws does that not make sense?

  • http://lavidadechaos.blogspot.ca/ Marlene Wilkins

‘above the law’? well, they might choose to think so…they’re not above OUR Laws.

Allowing CAIR to operate as they do would have been like allowing pro-fascist, anti-American organizations to have their way in the 1940’s. Is there a SINGLE person in congress who will speak the truth about this pro-totalitarian, freedom-hating group?

Anyone who fails to understand what is going on needs to do what Thomas Jefferson so strongly encouraged Americans to do… learn about Islam.

Yes, Jefferson was involved in the publication of the first English-language translation of the Koran, published in the United States. We’ve even had a Muslim legislator from Illinois be sworn in, not on a Bible, but on one of these “Jefferson’s Korans.”

Interestingly, I doubt that the original forward was present… as that forward spells out very clearly the reason for publishing this… so we would “understand the greatest threat to our existence.”

Islam has been at the core of virtually all violence and mayhem in the world throughout history. Islam played a role in Nazism (and were allied with the Nazis). Islam, and the invasion of Europe by Muslim armies, was the cause of teh Crusades (which were DEFENSIVE WARS intended to push the invaders back to their original borders and, in theory, to free the conquered lands), and even the Spanish Inquisition (the purpose of which was to cleanse the culture of the remnants of having been subjugated by Muslim invaders for several generations).

Key elements of Islamic belief include two concepts, overtly proselytized by Mohammed himself… “Allah-encouraged deceit” (only allowable towards non-Muslims, of course) called Taqiyya and Kithman.

Taqiyya is overt, full-out lying “to promote the rise of Islam.” Kithman is similar but is really “lies of omission” which promote the rise of Islam.

Mohammed, who the Koran states is the “perfect example of behavior for all mankind” (which is at the center of why Islam still strongly promotes slavery and child-marriage… after all, Mohammed had slaves, and married a six-year-old, so these must be GOOD THINGS, right?), used these practices heavily, and encouraged his followers to use them as well.

It’s unusual to find a Muslim “leader” who will say this sort of thing where non-Muslims will be able to find out about it. It’s far more common to hear this sort of thing in “private meetings” where no non-Muslims get to hear it.

“The root cause of terrorism is oppression.”

In a kind of irony, this is true.

As terrorism is used to brutally compel change from its victims, it is an expression of oppression itself, which is why it’s the cause.

    …click — BOOM!

“Allah akbar” THAT, Mustafa with your “Islam is the answer” bull$hit!
I got your answer: “Come get some!” And, I live in Indiana — NOT Texas, just so you don’t make a typical raghead screwup and go to the wrong place!

Based on the theory espoused by this spokesman, it would be in the best interests of America to have any Muslim coming into this country sign a statement of allegiance to the laws of this land. It they don’t, send them back to their happy place. If they do and then say or do something contrary to their pledge, then it would be grounds for immediate exportation. You can apply this to everyone, however, it only seems to be these particular folks who don’t believe they are bound by American law. The fact that you are here speaks volumes and not all of the volumes read “just another innocent immigrant who really doesn’t miss their homeland and would like to enjoy that way of life which is America”.
In this country there is a division of church and state which your religion is not comfortable with. If that is the case, feel free to pack up and go where the sounds of Sharia can fill you with joy.

They are simply following obama’s and NAACP’s lead that they too are above the law of the land. Not surprising.

I’m so glad I am a Christian. These horrible people may try to ruin my life but they have no chance of affecting my afterlife.

  • Michael Nappi

While I respect your opinion, mine is the opposite. Muslims are a disease that should be cut out like a cancer.

  • Mary Brown

My cure is simple, if Muslims are going to act like animals they should be treated as such. Animals can he hunted down and shot for being a nuisance.

CAIR is nothing more than a terrorist front intent on changing the US into a third world hell hole. They want to live like that go back to your own country and leave mine alone!

If they don’t follow the law of the land…DON’T COME HERE! If their here…DEPORT THEM!

Good example of what is eventually coming to ALL of America, not just Texas – where, if I was a Muslim, I would tread a little more softly. Those people down there can get ‘riled’ real easy. Of course the Nation of Islam people are a little more nuts than the normal Islamic nut cases, and tend to say things that show their TRUE COLORS. They hate white people, they hate America, they hate anyone that opposes their radical views. Saying that Islam is above the US laws is not news. THEY ALL BELIEVE THAT – they just don’t have the power to change it YET. But, thanks to the people in Washington who are opening the flood-gates to Islamic immigration, and the high birth rate amongst American-Muslims, that is all about to change. 10 MILLION HERE NOW – 100 MILLION WITHIN 50 YEARS! For those of you who have children, you should be frightened for them – very frightened. America is going to become a battleground one day.
