Dem Senator Who Wanted to Force Everyone to Buy ObamaCare, Doesn’t Think Everyone Should be Forced to Buy ObamaCare

When it comes to talking out of both sides of his mouth, Senator Joe Manchin could give John Kerry a few lessons. Manchin doesn’t just oppose things before he supports them. Sometimes he opposes them and supports them at the same time. Like gun control. Or ObamaCare.

Joe Manchin doesn’t settle for talking out of both sides of his mouth. He finds new orifices to simultaneously contradict himself out of. And then he uses a rifle to shoot a Global Warming bill in an ad before he goes to D.C. and does whatever Charlie Schumer tells him to.

Now Manchin, who supported forcing people to buy ObamaCare, believes you shouldn’t be forced to buy ObamaCare if it costs more than what you were paying for. Since it costs more for everyone except the people being carried by the government, Manchin is really saying that he thinks it should be Medicaid. But he doesn’t really mean that because Joe Manchin never means anything.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) told George Stephanopoulos on This Week today, “Nobody should be forced to buy Obamacare if it costs more.”

Well that’s noble of him considering that he wanted to do just that. But then he changed his mind. A lot.

In the final days before the midterm elections, Democratic Senate candidate and West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin doubled down on his opposition to parts of the health care law, legislation he supported when it was being debated in Congress last spring.

Manchin said on “Fox News Sunday” that he would not have supported the bill if he had been made aware of everything that was in it at the time.

To recap. Joe Manchin had no idea what he supports and you can’t hold him responsible because he’s some combination of illiterate or criminally insane. But if he were presented with the same bill, that he is now willing to swear on a mile-high stack of bibles that he would never vote for, he would somehow end up voting for it anyway.

And then he would go on FOX News to explain that he wouldn’t have voted for it if only he had known that he was voting.
