Detroit Protesters Aim Slurs at Black Emergency Manager Saving City from Bankruptcy

Rev. Williams III. Escalation not pictured.

Detroit may be in big trouble, but don’t worry, Sharpton Inc. has got a plan.

Step 1. Call the Emergency Financial Manager an “Uncle Tom.”

Step 2. Block Traffic

Step 3. Move to Seattle

Hundreds of well-organized demonstrators vowing “civil disobedience” will greet Michigan Republican Gov. Rick Snyder’s visit to Cobo Hall in Detroit Monday for an economic summit in order to protest Snyder’s selection of a powerful “emergency manager” to save the city of Detroit from bankruptcy.

On Thursday, Snyder appointees on a three-person panel confirmed African-American lawyer Kevyn Orr as the city’s “emergency manager,” a powerful position that gives him authority to restructure the city’s finances and change labor contracts

“It’s obvious that race played into this decision,” Rev. Charles Williams III, the head of the Michigan affiliate of Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, told The Daily Caller.  “There may be some voter suppression behind it.”

Sharpton associates are like spambots. They just randomly toss out keywords that they heard are relevant.

Race played into what decision? Detroit’s decision to put a criminal in charge of the city and spend money it doesn’t have? Snyder’s appointment of a black emergency manager? The Rev Charles Williams III’s career?

If Williams doesn’t want an emergency manager, there’s a simple solution. Go back to the barter system.

“We’re going to educate and also escalate,” Williams said about the planned protest. “Between us and all the people from UAW [United Auto Workers], there should be hundreds. There’s going to be action, and escalation around some civil disobedience.”

Just think about it. Hundreds… actual hundreds of people are going to be educating and escalating and elevating and estimating and esplanading and a lot of other words that begin with “E” and rhyme.

This plan, unlike the City of Detroit, can’t fail. (Until it fails.)

“You won’t even know it until it happens,” he continued,

Or possibly even once it happens. Or years after it happened and the escalating is still educating on the escalator.

when asked what kinds of civil disobedience Snyder should expect. “There are plenty of people committed to going to jail. We’ve been doing traffic slowdowns. We’re going to push that up and go ahead with a full traffic stop.”

So Williams III will prevent people from getting to work until he gets arrested. It’s bound to turn around Detroit, onto a side street.

“Maybe we won’t take it to the level of the ’60s riots, but this thing is escalating,” Williams said.

Much like Detroit’s financial crisis and Williams’ use of the word “escalating”. When Rev. Williams III gets on an escalator, then things really start escalating.

While supporters of the emergency manager say that Orr’s appointment is the “only option” for a city racked last year with a $327 million budget deficit and $14 billion in long-term liabilities, others see it as a civil rights issue.

“Obviously [Orr] is a black proxy for the governor,” Williams said. “Detroit is 84 percent African-American, and this is an obvious opportunity for Snyder to utilize this man as an Uncle Tom, quite frankly.”

Someone has been watching Django a few times too many.

I wonder if this fat azz yahoo even understands what the term democracy means?

    • objectivefactsmatter

"I wonder if this fat azz yahoo even understands what the term democracy means?"

      His definition? Mob rule.

      • patron

He doesn't care who rules, as long as he can shake them down.

Can we copy Cyprus and after Sharpton's thugs arise, put a federal ban on travel, move out the factory equipment, and sell the city to Canada?

There's no white guilt in Canada. They'll have no problem beating their criminal asses until they get off welfare.

        • Roger

Is that why he hates the new manager? His cash will dry up?

          • kasandra

Why, I believe you've hit the nail right on the head.

          • Roger

And someone thumbed you down for it. Does sharpton monitor this forum?

    • Drakken

      Communism by an other means.

  • Boogies Daddy

I forgot, Who is Barrak Hussein Obama a proxy for again? I mean evidently no black man can have a purpose outside of what he might be assigned by a white men.
So who is Wiliams III a proxy for?

Gangsters come in all colors of the rainbow, and racist mack daddies are the worst of the worst. They prey on the weakest sectors and they engorge themselves in the process.
Demsters are following the path of Rules For Radicals and leftist dogma is the same world over. It must be beaten back tooth and nail –
The worst sin is for a stalwart Black to stand up to these thugs and say – ENOUGH!

They should just let Detroit completely fail and forget about a bailout, let them rot. Then we could start urban renewal.

No need to let Detroit sink, after all it is a part of the American infrastructure.
We have all have heard of Ghost Towns, but Cities!?
All that needs to sink, is the ship carrying all the termites and leeches destroying America's foundation and economy!

  • Arlie

So, it will start in Detroit and Sharpton's involved. Figures. theories/2013/01/ attention-the-6-stages-of-the-nwo-to-start-civil-war-in-the-unites-states-video-2447936.html

I am an X-Detroiter. Family has lived there for 100+ years…yes, in the City! I worked there in 1967…Riot Time. I voted for Kwame…very disappointing. My friens and I started a business in the City, however, Required Licensing for it was "…at the whim and caprice" – actual wording! – of City Council. That was mid-1990s. Also had rental properties…ruined by those I could not reject. I had vacant property liened by the City…was told Lien was to be waived and removed…they LIED. Rapes, Break-ins, Theft, Vandalism, Prostitution, House Fires, Druggies, an the potential of more riots – Budsen & Nevers situation. AND LEST I FORGET, NEW YEAR'S EVE FIREPOWER DISPLAYS…RATATATTAT.

The problem is not with everyone – the work-hard residents, Black, White, etc. . The problem is with the POLITICIANS who think Detroit is the greatest GET RICH QUICK SCHEME ever created.

Detroit is a heart-breaker for those who can see the potential for the former "PARIS OF THE MIDWEST".

Ex-Detroiter here. It was a great place to grow up in in the '50's and most of the '60s but by the time I left, every friend, relative and I had been the vicitims of serious crimes, often involving violence. The city has a great location with a lot of potential but the problem with it is a large portion of those living there, politicians and the rest all included.

Al Sharpton belongs in jail, period. He doesn't pay his own way either. A leech.

  • Ar'nun

“Maybe we won’t take it to the level of the ’60s riots, but this thing is escalating,” Williams said."

Like you mentioned about Spambots, I believe the satement above is a randomly tossed out keywords. Watch for riots.

    • Drakken

Let them riot, let them burn what is left of that cesspool to the ground and let them starve.

  • Ed Blucher

Al Sharpton and his kind are kept alive by bill O'Riley and his Fox News cable tv news program. O'Riley
keeps inviting Sharpton and his kind to return and spread their hate and bigotry to the world! Bill O'Riley
is more dangerous than Sharpton and the preachers of hate that he keeps inviting back to his show!

    • Daniel Greenfield

Sharpton has a show on MSNBC now

  • tagalog

There's going to be "escalation" around "civil disobedience?"

Why don't they just come right out and say they're going to disrupt things with violence instead of pussy-footing around it?

    • Ar'nun

Plausible deniability. It's why they need keywords, so it never blows-back on the leaders.

  • Tom

Where is Jessie Jackson he will make sure everyone is honest and not corrupt. Hey sell Detroit to North Korea they can use it for target practice.

  • John P.

Couldn’t have happened to a better deserving city. Next up, urban Atlanta.
