Did Palestinian Authority Officials Cause Obama’s IRS to Target Pro-Israel Groups?

As discussed previously, the IRS not only targeted conservative groups, but also singled out a number of pro-Israel organizations.

White House-allied lobbying groups joined the media criticism by challenged the nonprofits’ tax-exempt status, arguing that they undercut President Barack Obama’s Middle East policies.

Why the special scrutiny for pro-Israel groups? A New York Times article in July 2010 provided a clue: Tax-exempt groups were donating to West Bank settlers, and State Department officials wanted the settlers out. ‘As the American government seeks to end the four-decade Jewish settlement enterprise and foster a Palestinian state in the West Bank,’ the Times wrote, ‘the American Treasury helps sustain the settlements through tax breaks on donations to support them.’

“Did the T-men take their political cues from such stories, or did Administration officials give them orders? Either explanation would be a violation of public trust.”

The chief negotiator for the Palestinian Authority raised the issue two days later during a meeting with U.S. Consul General Daniel Rubenstein, according to a State Department cable revealed by Wikileaks.

One pro-Israel targets was HaYovel, which was featured prominently in the New York Times article. Six months after the article was published, the IRS audited the Nashville-based charity, which sends volunteers to work in vineyards across the Green Line.

“We bookend that [New York Times] story. We were the first [group mentioned]. They really kind of focused on us,” said HaYovel’s founder Tommy Waller. “Then six months later we had an audit.”

As mentioned above, the idea to have the IRS target pro-Israel groups appeared to have come to Obama Inc. by way of the terrorist Palestinian Authority.

Let me provide another possible clue, found in the June 16, 2009 minutes of the Palestinian negotiating unit headed by Saeb Erekat–part of the Palestine Papers published by Al Jazeera in 2011.

Erekat wanted to respond to the speech with a letter to the U.S. that would cite the number of individual housing units under construction. Dr. Mohammed Shtayyed made an additional suggestion to Erekat:

“We can’t stop a pregnant lady from having a baby, but look at what we can do. We should look at the 501(c)(3) organizations in the States that make donations to settlers. Let the US administration investigate this.”

So much for the dreaded Israeli lobby. It would appear that the Palestine Lobby is more powerful.

How did you get Kerry to look so much like Stan Laurel in your lead photo (apologies to Stan RIP) Saad Erekat looks like he’s got Kerry in the bag. Poor John Kerry, if he didn’t have such a long history as a twisted anti-American sellout destroyer I might feel sorry for him for being such an Islamist dupe and generally not having a clue as to what the heck is going on. Obama sure knows how to pick em. I guess being on the Saudi payroll is good for the resume and makes O’s job easier. No doubt this poopchute is going to run for president next chance he gets. Obama can give him bowing lessons. The hapless Kerry will no doubt try again to broker another attempt by Israel to untie the Gordian Knot of making peace with the frothing-at- the- mouth murderous Palestinians, like doing a standing double back flip standing on top of a flagpole. Leftist American politicians must do what they are told by the world communist/Islamist cabal if they want to get promoted.

The PA/Fatah/Hamas junta are all part of the Muslim Brotherhood Mafia. And it is a fact that Obama Inc is knee deep in their corner. As such, there should be little doubt that their operatives gave the commands to target pro Israel groups. But never mind, as outrageous as this is to any person of conscience, since the players are all terrorists, Americans have more to fear from the IRS than most even realize – http://adinakutnicki.com/2013/06/03/irs-enforceme

One could argue that Obama has done everything he can to further radical Islam, including the killing of Bin Laden. Al Queda has grown dramatically since Bin Laden was killed, so one could surmise that Bin Laden's continued involvement had hurt the growth of the terrorist organisation. Obama is now actually arming them, while letting them kill Americans — even ambassadors — with impunity.

Sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks are to be given to the Egyptian government before the end of the year under a foreign aid deal signed in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally.
This from the Obama admin with his approval. It seems that the Gov can assist Palestinian forces but prohibits any assistance to Israel. The discrimination is clearly against Israel and pro-Israel groups.
