Egyptian Judges Call for Muslim Brotherhood Ban over Terrorism

The Egyptian authorities have decided to shut down the Muslim Brotherhood for good. This isn’t the end of the game yet at this stage, but it is bad news for the Brotherhood and its Western supporters; especially Ashton and Obama.

Egypt’s State Commissioners Authority, a body that advises the government on legal issues, has recommended the dissolution of the Muslim Brotherhood.

In an announcement on Monday, the Authority also called for the group’s national headquarters in Cairo’s Moqattam to be closed.

The recommendations were made in accordance with Law 84 of 2002, which prohibits non-government organisations and institutions from forming paramilitary groups.

A lot of media outlets are reporting the judicial recommendation. What they are not reporting is specifically why. And you can see why the media, which carries the Brotherhood’s water, isn’t interesting in dealing with the specific allegations.

For example the AP, in a ten paragraph story, only mentions that the shutdown happened because the Brotherhood was “operating outside the law.”

What are we to make of the American leaders who claim the democracy was destroyed by the Egyptian military. It was the Brotherhood that destroyed the democracy. The majority of Egyptians wanted the Brotherhood traitors removed and democracy restored. There may be another election with the Brotherhood allowed to run. In the mean time the Egyptain people need aid in order to survive the results of the Brotherhood rule and the current turmoil.

I certainly hope those judges have excellent security.

Won’t it be poetic if Egyptian civil society can survive Obama’s attempt to install the Brotherhood to turn their country into another version of Iran, Turkey et.c?

What a true miracle it would be to see Egypt lead the entire region away from the radicalism our POTUS and his favorite Brotherhood had planned for them.

It’s hard to believe that the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in Egypt but not the United States.

I love how the whole world tells Obama to go stick it up his ass, which is what Egypt is doing by banning the Muslim Brotherhood.
