Fort Hood Ignored Nidal Hassan, Now Warns of Tea Party Terror Threat

All-American-Muslim-Publicity-Image -blazingcatfur

This story would be horrible even if it wasn’t taking place at Fort Hood. But it is taking place where Nidal Hasan was able to murder 13 soldiers despite repeatedly making it clear that he was all for Islamic terrorism because no one was allowed to hurt a Muslim’s feelings.

Fortunately they’re all over the real threat. The Tea Party.

Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

A soldier who attended the Oct. 17th briefing told me the counter-intelligence agent in charge of the meeting spent nearly a half hour discussing how evangelical Christians and groups like the American Family Association were “tearing the country apart.”

While a large portion of the briefing dealt with the threat evangelicals and the Tea Party pose to the nation, barely a word was said about Islamic extremism, the soldier said.

“Our community is still healing from the act of terrorism brought on by Nidal Hasan – who really is a terrorist,” the soldier said. “This is a slap in the face. “The military is supposed to defend freedom and to classify the vast majority of the military that claim to be Christian as terrorists is sick.”

The soldier said they were also told that the pro-life movement is another example of “radicalization.”

“They said that evangelical Christians protesting abortions are the mobilization stage and that leads to the bombing of abortion clinics,” he said, recalling the discussion.

This kind of liberal power play leads to conservatives being monitored while Muslims get to plan their next terror attack. The Clinton Administration did this and it led to September 11.

Now it’s happening all over again.

No one responsible for Benghazi has been fired. But a man who tweeted sarcastic comments about Valerie Jarrett was purged by the White House.

This is where we are. This is what our national security looks like now. And the next terrorist attack and the one after that and the one after that.

It will only take one real American who has sniper training to do the right thing…..

Watch what you say on something open like this.

      • Leon Welch

That’s our problem. Watch what you say. I will say what I darn well please. This is America.

        • ziggy zoggy

He’s trying to help you. The Secret Service investigates people for writing things like what you wrote – especially under this administration. You could get arrested.

    • Dan84iel

Really? How so? The idea that simple removal (through whatever means) of a single individual or a small handful of individuals will right everything is preposterous and delusional. The destructive trends destroying America long predate the advent of Obama, who is just a front man for his shadowy sponsors, and will remain long after he has exited the stage.

The notion that if we just got rid of Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi and elected “true conservatives” that all would be right with the world might play with Sean Hannity and his sycophants, but this is a bedtime story that no adult can take seriously.

      • Leon Welch

You have to start some where.

        • Dan84iel

Indeed, but one must understand what one is taking on before they start. It is the problem of a single or handful of politicians, or even a specific political party. They are only symptoms. The problem lies with the managerial state itself and the liberal, egalitarian ideology that is used to justify its existence.

          • ziggy zoggy

Liberal and egalitarian ideology? What ideology would that be? And whose? You sure as HeII aren’t describing Obama, Reid or Pelosi.

          • Dan84iel

That is the ideology of both political parties in America.

          • ziggy zoggy

            More like intolerant and elitist.

          • Dan84iel

That is what they practice for themselves, yes. But their ruling ideology, that which is forced upon the rest of us, is liberal egalitarianism. It is the ideology that tells us that we “must” allow homosexuals to marry, that we “must” grant millions of illegal aliens amnesty and a pathway to citizenship, and that we “must not” discriminate radical Muslims in the military.

          • ziggy zoggy

Forcing agendas on the unwilling is not tolerant! That’s just it: none of the left’s ideology is tolerant. Leftists claim to be tolerant, but practice the complete opposite.

As for political parties, the Democrats are dominated by the left and most Republicans go along because they are STUPID and think that is what the public wants.

          • Drakken

Well the Romans purged their traitors in their midst when they turned on the people.

No, it takes real Americans to fight this kind of nonsense using all the legal and institutional tools that are available. That’s what makes the country great; a sniper is the rule of law in Afghanistan and other hell holes.

I have a very difficult time believing that any US Army officer would give such an illegal order.

But seeing what Odumba has been doing it is possible.

But to state that any political group that does not advocate insurrection is illegal to affiliate with violates the US Constitution and is not legal under the UCMJ

Destroying the military at the same time as destroying America’s stance abroad.

We might not need Saudi oil, but the Europeans and Japaneses sure do.

If we no longer have leverage with the Saudis, then whoever the Saudis climb in bed with and the Saudis can dictate t the Europeans and the Japanese to sever their relations with the U.S.

It is happening more and more, and the little sycophants who couldn’t get promoted on merit are being promoted by their azz kissing skills. Our military is in trouble.

      • Harald Eigerson

Believe it. One of my first sergeants at Fort Bragg was a member of the Nation of Islam. He did not act radical at all that I could tell and it was well known that he was part of that group. An association with that group should preclude your involvement in the military, but Brag is its own little world. A few months into my tour I found a copy of The Final Call (their newspaper) laying around and had myself a read. I do not remember most of it but among other planks in their platform they preached a salvation based on race and called for the government to section off part of the country to create a black homeland. I turned the thing into the unit’s EO representative, he looked at me like I was some type of idiot. and I never heard anything about it afterwards.

After looking around I decided that discretion was advisable if not the better part of valor. Out of the dozen or so sergeant majors in 1st COSCOM on Bragg only two were non African Americans one of was white (the S2/3 SGM) and the other was Hispanic (the 1st COSCOM CSM), The majority of senior enlisted (grades E-7 through E-9) were African American. You don’t get very far bucking the system under that set up.

The first item mentioned in our oath is a defense and support of the constitution. The oath goes on to include an obedience to the orders of the president of the USA and to the officers appointed over us. The officers don’t generally get all hot and bothered with day to day issues of the unit they’re usually busy with reports, meetings, power point presentations and in general doing officery things that are going to get them their next promotion. The senior enlisted take care of the details. Heck, your average private is signed (accountable and responsible for more stuff than your average officer (as opposed to the more nebulous general supply discipline responsibility alluded to in AR 735-5) unless the guy is a captain and even then only if he’s commanding a company. Guess what the constitution doesn’t put you on every bovine fecal matter detail no self respecting soldier would ever volunteer you for. It doesn’t slap the rank off your collar if you screw up. The constitution sets up a framework of laws that are entirely dependent on a moral and ethical people to enforce them.

Starting from the beginning of this country we have had our Aaron Burr’s and Benedict Arnold’s but we’ve also had a citizenry that was self disciplined enough that a few self absorbed people’s way of doing things did not get a lot of traction until people’s expectations of what government should do started changing during Woodrow Wilson’s presidency. Do not be surprised by the people who are going to be in charge of all the weapons pointed your way when they feel that they can safely dispense with the formality of elections.

“The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ, 64 Stat. 109, 10 U.S.C. Chapter 47), is the foundation of military law in the United States. It was established by the United States Congress in accordance with the authority given by the United States Constitution in Article I, Section 8, which provides that “The Congress shall have Power….To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval forces.”

      • Gee

Yes and Congress has not outlawed donations to the Tea Party. I do know what the UCMJ is.

“how evangelical Christians and groups like the American Family Association were “tearing the country apart.”

I was at a popular gay blog. That is I was out of the echo chamber, not drinking the Kool Aide, seeing another viewpoint.

It was not pretty. they were all aflutter over a Bishop who was expelled from the Roman Catholic Church for spending $43 million dollars on his home. they applauded Francis, said he was a cool guy and that they would like to meet.

They also said that most of the church hierarchy are criminals and the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) had to go.

Think about that for a moment. They are making plans for us. They are working toward a future, where they tear down our institutions. So they can oppose us but we cannot oppose them.

They are literally talking about tearing down the RCC. But to encourage people to be ex-gay is verbotten.

    They are feeling their oats.

I hate to say it, but it’s time for another House investigation (the Senate is hopeless). Obama will stonewall as usual, but every witness to this occurrence must be subpoenaed until we get at the truth. If this really happened, it’s a scandal of very great import that the mainstream media must not be allowed to ignore. I don’t see how it can possibly be legal to threaten American soldiers who might contribute to Evangelical Christians or Tea Party groups – I’m with Gee in thinking that this person needs to be arrested, if we can find anyone in the Judge Advocate Corps who hasn’t been thoroughly corrupted by the Obama administration.

As an ex military type, I find this story difficult to believe. But then again, it has been quite a while since I served. But if it is true, it is frightening. The Soviet military had political officers attached to its units. Has this become our model?

It’s not hard to believe. Speaking out against Obama has become insubordination. Now we’re seeing everything that follows.

This is how the Soviets plan has come to pass. They said they would and you see it clearly today. They removed Christianity from the public schools then the Federal government then local and state government. Then they started to slowly start removing the Constitution. It’s called “Progressiveness” and/or Democrat. The Republicans are to blame as well because they didn’t stop them. Now, it’s the military who are being brain washed into seeing “good” as being bad and anti-American. The people who made these comments to these soldiers should be removed from the military and sent to a military prison. The people higher up the chain should be there as well. NO one should be exempt who were involved.

This is another of many proofs that concern about Islamophobia does not come from some higher moral impulse of concern for one’s fellow man. The same people who are “concerned” about Islamophobia are inciting hatred of Christians. There’s a reason for that, Christians vote Republican whereas Muslims vote Democrat. Who knows how much money Obama got from Muslims to get elected.

  • Lanna

Beware how Islam got its foot in the door through Obama….Islam is excused by this administration.

    • Bill Campbell

      Not just excused… accomodated

  • Boots

Liberals… I realize you’re happy with the direction the military is taking but pretty soon we’ll have that 3rd World military you guys idolize. You know… the ones who aren’t capable of actually protecting a country or fighting a war. The current purging of military leadership who don’t agree with Obama is by design. Now they want to rid the military of conservatives at all levels. The answer for the troops who want to donate to any of these “terrorist” groups is to do it by cash and not tell anyone. The military should be apolitical but big tent. Were I still on active duty I’ve give a cheerful “aye-aye” and then double my donations anonymously through cash or third parties. I would’ve asked the intel officer if the President is a terrorist since “tearing the country apart” is part of their criteria.

    • hiernonymous

Your first question to the intel officer is “how well does this single second-hand account represent what was actually said in the briefing?”

“A soldier who attended the Oct. 17th briefing told me…” represents the point at which a blogger publishes, and an actual journalist begins investigating.

      • Boots

No… If I were still on active duty and at that briefing, I’d ask the same question about divisiveness. I’d agree with your take on this if the quality of Mr Greenfield’s work over the long term were any worse than stuff published in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Dan Rather and CBS, and any number of other traditional news sources disguised as news but done as editorials through selective editing. The National Enquirer does the best sourced investigative reporting these days but that’s only because they lose law suits if they can’t defend what they publish.

That said… there’s enough evidence the federal government as a whole is trying to label evangelicals and conservative groups as terrorists… think Janet Napolitano and DHS.,, report “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence and Radicalization and Recruitment” April 7, 2009, which labeled virtually all conservative leaning individuals as a suspected terrorist.

Just my opinion but there’s enough institutional hostility towards the right for the anecdotal report by the soldier attending the training to be credible. If DHS is willing to publish that kind of report and the IRS is willing to harass conservative groups then it’s easy to believe the military could also be politicized.

  • Wolfthatknowsall

Well, this is just plain dandy. I fit into both categories.

I mustered out of the Army in 1969, but just to be sure …

If I were in the military, and gave money to my local church, and to the First Brigade of the Tea Party Patriots (of which I am a member), am I in violation of military law?

    • Richard Adams

Wolf – You would not be in violation for making donations or attending. Please see below:
DoD Directive 1344.10, Subj: Political Activities by Members of the Armed Forces, February 19, 2008.

      • Wolfthatknowsall

So, under, above, what would the “limitations” be?

The reason I ask is because I have a son who is a military historian at the Pentagon, with the rank of colonel.

        • hiernonymous

The Title 2 limitations are those that apply to all, not simply the military, and deal with how much money may be given to a particular candidate. If you want the particulars, you can google the refernced statute.

          • Wolfthatknowsall

Thanks. I shall do so. I worry about this because my son is both Tea Party and an evangelical. Of course, he is only one grade from Brigadier (though I don’t expect him to make it in the current environment), but I would hope he knows something about this.

  • Fox Fuzzbox

The world is better off without religion and other imposing superstitions altogether. Religion is the product of aggressive ignorance.
If there were an almighty god, -then who is anyone to question his ability to get it right. Besides, if this god had left humanity a manifesto, it would be nature itself. Not a religious book made by people that contradicts itself on practically every page.

    • Bill Campbell

Yeah, I suppose the King James Bible just guessed all of those prophecies with 100% accuracy by pure coincidence. Keep living in your hole.

      • Fox Fuzzbox

I guess you are not a scientist.
The prophesies in the bible can be made to fit any time and age,
It is a question of which critical faculties one chooses to use or more importantly – disregard.
When you want it to be true it is easy to cherrypick what you want and leave out the things that don’t fit in order to leave your beliefs ‘intact’. Muslims do it all the time.
As a matter of fact religion has been the biggest clamp on the foot of human progress because it clings to a dogmatic perception of the world around us, and refuses to take new developments into consideration until it becomes just too embarrassing.
Take for instance the case of Galileo, who was severely chastised by the church for defending the Copernican heliocentric perspective of cosmology (that the world orbits the sun not the other way).
After he invented the telescope and it could no longer be denied, still the church refused to admit they were wrong.
And as you may have heard; history tends to repeat itself unless you learn from it.
My dear fellow; -Please wake up from the dream of a reality created by an invisible patriarch with all human traits who possesses all the weaknesses of his subjects.
And if you can tell the future from the King James bible, you should be able to tell me something about what is going to happen next.
Now it’s up to you. All the best, and good luck.

        • Richard Adams

Are you a scientist? In which discipline do you have your training in and are you published? Is atheism, nihilism, and existentialism any more provable theories than a belief in God? Is there any chance that your conclusions are in error due to conformational bias?
You did the ol’ bait and switch. If you are going to claim that the prophesies are in error, don’t compare them to the Catholic Church’s refusal to accept in a timely manner the discoveries by Galileo. Apples to apples please.
BTW, here’s a prediction from the bible that will come true. When you die, and you will someday, your soul will either go to heaven or hell. You’ll have to die to find out if this is the truth.
I pray you go to heaven.

The greatest scientific achievements of mankind were made by Christians trying to understand the universe they believed God created. Men like Newton, Darwin, Edison, Tesla, Bell, Carrier, Einstein and Farnsworth. Men like Galileo, who was a buddy of the Pope and was NOT chastised for his astronomical facts – facts which the Pope and Catholic Church shared.

Your description of God is not based on scripture, belief or reality.

“Men like Galileo, who was a buddy of the Pope and was NOT chastised for his astronomical facts – facts which the Pope and Catholic Church shared.”

He was “buddies with the Pope” until Urban became convinced that Galileo was mocking him through the character of Simplicio. Here’s what the inquisitors had to say about Galileo and the facts “which the Pope and Catholic Church shared” (

            We: [names of ten Cardinals]

By the grace of God, Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church, and especially commissioned by the Holy Apostolic See as Inquisitors-General against heretical depravity in all of Christendom.

Whereas you, Galileo, son of the late Vincenzio Galilei,
            Florentine, aged seventy years, were denounced to this Holy Office in 1615 for holding as true the false doctrine taught by some that the sun is the center of the world and motionless and the earth moves even with diurnal motion; for having disciples to whom you taught the same doctrine; for being in correspondence with some German mathematicians about it; for having published some letters entitiled On Sunspots, in which you explained the same doctrine as true; for interpreting Holy Scripture according to your own meaning in response to objections based on Scripture which were sometimes made to you; and whereas later we received a copy of an essay in the form of a letter, which was said to have been written by you to a former disciple of yours and which in accordance with Copernicus’s position contains various propositions against the authority and true meaning of Holy Scripture;

And whereas this Holy Tribunal wanted remedy the disorder and the harm which derived from it and which was growing to the detriment of the Holy Faith, by order of His Holiness and the Most Eminent and Most
Reverend Lord Cardinals of this Supreme and Univesal Inquisition, the Assessor Theologians assessed the two propositions of the sun’s stability and the earth’s motions as follows:

That the sun is the center of the world and motionless
            is a proposition which is philosophically absurd and false, and formally heretical, for being explicitly contrary to Holy Scripture;

That the earth is neither the center of the world
nor motionless but moves even with diurnal motion is philosophically equally absurd and false, and theologically at least erroneous in the Faith.

Whereas however we wanted to treat you with benignity
at that time, it was decided at the Holy Congregation held in the presence of His Holiness on 25 Feb 1616 that the Most Eminent Lord Cardinal Bellarmine
would order you to abandon this false opinion completely; that if you refused to do this, the Commissary of the Holy Office would give you an
injunction to abandon this doctrine, not to teach it to others, not to defend it, and not to treat of it; and that if you did not acquiesce in this injunction, you should be imprisoned. To execute this decision, the following day at the palace of and in the presence of the above-mentioned Most Eminent Lord Cardinal Bellarmine, after beine informed and warned in a friendly way by the same Lord Cardinal, you were given an injunction
by the then Father Commissary of the Holy Office in the presence of a notary and witnesses to the effect that you must completely abandon the said false opinion, and that in the future you could neither hold, nor defend, nor teach it in any way whatever, either orally or in writing; having promised to obey, you were dismissed.

Furthermore, in order to completely eliminate such
a pernicious doctrine, and not let it creep any further to the great detriment of Catholic truth, the Holy Congregation of the Index issued a decree which prohibited books treating of sucy a doctrine and declared it false and wholly contrary to the divine and Holy Scripture.

And whereas a book has appeared here lately, printed
in Florence last year, whose inscription showed that you were the author, the title being Dialogue by Galileo Galilei on the two Chief World Systems, Ptolemaic and Copernican; and whereas the Holy Congregation
was informed that with the printing of this book the false opinion of the earth’s motion and the sun’s stability was being disseminated and taking hold more and more every day, the said book was diligently examined
and found to violate explicitly the above-mentioned injunction given to you; for in the same book you have defended the said opinion already condemned
and so declared to your face, although in the said book you try by means of various subterfuges to give the impression of leaving it undecided and labeled as probable; this is still a very serious error since there
is no way an opinion declared and defined contrary to divine Scripture may be probable.

Therefore, by our order you were summoned to this
Holy Office, where, examined under oath, you acknowledged the book as written and published by you. You confessed that about ten or twelve years ago after having been given the injunction mentioned above, you began writing the said book, and that then you asked for permission to print it without explaining to those who gave you such permission that you were under the injunction of not holding, defending, or teaching such a doctrine in any way whatever.

Likewise, you confessed that in several places the
exposition of the said book is expressed in such a way that a reader could get the idea that the arguments given for the false side were effective enough to be capable of convincing, rather than being easy to refute.
Your excuses for having committted an error, as you said so foreign from you intention, were that you had written in dialogue form, and everyone feels a natural satisfaction for one’s own subtleties and showing oneself sharper than the average man by finding ingenious and apparently probable arguments even in favor of false propositions.

Having been given suitable terms to present your defense, you produced a certificate in the handwriting of the most Eminient Lord Cardinal Bellarmine, which you said you obtained to defend yourself from the calumnies of your enemies, who were claiming that you had abjured and had been punished by the Holy Office. This certificate says that you had neither abjured nor been punished, but only that you had been notified of the declaration made by His Holiness and published by
the Holy Congregation of the Index, whose content is that the doctrine of the earth’s motion and sun’s stability is conterary to Holy Scripture and so can be neither defended nor held. Because this certificate does not contain the two phrases of the injunction, namely “to teach” and “in any way whatever,” one is supposed to believe that in the course of fourteen or sixteen years you had lost any recollection of them, and that for this same reason you had been silent about the injunction when you applied for the license to publish the book. Furthermore, one is supposed to believe that you point out all of this not to excuse the error, but in order to have it attributed to conceited ambition rather
than to malice. However, the said certificate you produced in your defense aggravates your case further since, while it says that the said opinion is contrary to Holy Scripture, yet you dared to treat of it, defend
it, and show it as probable; nor are you helped by the license your artfully and cunningly extorted since you did not mention the injunction you were under.

Because we did not think you had said the whole truth
about your intention, we deemed it necessary to proceed against you by a rigorous examination. Here you answered in a Catholic manner, though without prejudice to the above-mentioned matters confessed by you and deduced against you about your intention.

Therefore, having seen and seriously considered the
merits of your case, together with the above-mentioned confessions and excuses and with any other reasonable matter worth seeing and considering, we have come to the final sentence against you given below.

Therefore, invoking the most Holy name of Our Lord
Jesus Christ and his most glorious Mother, ever Virgin Mary; and sitting as a tribunal, with the advice and counsel of the Reverend Masters of Sacred Theology and the Doctors of both laws, our consultants; in this
writen opinion we pronounce final judgment on the case pending before us between the Magnificent Carlo Sinceri, Doctor of both laws, and Prosecuting
Attorney of this Holy Office, on one side, and you the above-mentioned Galileo Galilei, the culprit here present, examined, tried, and confessed as above, on the other side:

We say, pronounce, sentence, and declare that you,
the above-mentioned Galileo, because of the things deduced in the trial and confessed by you as above, have rendered yourself according to this Holy Office vehemently suspected of heresy, namely of having held and believed a doctine which is false and contrary to the divine and Holy Scripture: that the sun is the center of the world and does not move from east to west, and the earth moves and is not the center of the world, and that one may hold and defend as probable an opinion after it has been declared and defined contrary to Holy Scripture. Consequently you have incurred all the censures and penalties imposed and promulgated by
the sacred canons and all particular and general laws against such delinquents. We are willing to absolve you from them provided that first, with a sincere heart and unfeigned faith, in front of us you abjure, curse, and detest the above-mentioned errors and heresies, and every other error and heresy contrary to the Catholic and Apostolic Church, in the manner and form we will prescribe to you.

Furthermore, so that this serious and pernicious error
and transgression of yours does not remain completely unpunished, and so that you will be more cautious in the future and an example for others to abstain from similar crimes, we order that the book Dialogue by Galileo Galilei be prohibited by public edict.

We condemn you to formal imprisonment in this Holy
Office at our pleasure. As a salutary penance we impose on you to recite the seven penitential Psalms once a week for the next three years. And we reserve the authority to moderate, change, or condone wholly or
in part the above-mentioned penalties and penances.

This we say, pronounce, sentence, declare, order,
and reserve by this or any other better manner or form that we reasonably can or shall think of.

So we the undersigned Cardinals pronounce:

You can believe that, but it is not correct.
Perhaps you are more interested in your feelings than facts.
I understand the cognitive dissonance can get quite overwhelming when there is no proof for the existence of any deities, -a frustrating situation which finds an emotional outlet.
And the bigotry and pontification is all your own.
            Have a nice day.

You’re entitled to your opinion…even when you espouse ignorance. One would have to read the Bible to be able to make informed and accurate comments without coming off as a mindless vessel.

Well, thanks. But don’t you see what religion makes people do to each other? Putting their children in madrasas where they have to sit for years and learn the quran by rote even if they don’t speak the language and have any idea what it means.
Or those who send their kids to hell houses to scare the snot outta them in order to make them obedient.
This does not make happy well adjusted people, -it is brain washing.
And when they are ready they are sent out in the world to kill those other people that they’ve learned to hate.
Does this sound right? to anyone?
        Who is mindless here?

Obama is the one tearing the country apart. Where do these people get any idea to the contrary?
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it” – Adolf Hitler

    • Richard Adams

Sorry to correct you Bill, but you are citing the wrong source. Here is the entire quote and by whom:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” -Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels
I do get your point though. I don’t believe Obama and the rest of the ideologues will be able to continue their lies much longer.

Sorry to correct both you and Bill, Richard, but Goebbels never said what you quote. It is an Internet myth – see:

Hitler did comment on the ‘big lie’, but not in the terms Bill quotes. This is what he said:

“[I]n the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.” (Mein Kampf, vol. 1, chapter x).

Bill may be thinking of another remark by Hitler on what today we would call saturation advertising:

“The receptive powers of the masses are very restricted, and their understanding is feeble. On the other hand, they quickly forget. Such being the case, all effective propaganda must be confined to a few bare essentials and those must be expressed as far as possible in stereotyped formulas. These slogans should be persistently repeated until the very last individual has come to grasp the idea that has been put forward… The aim of propaganda is not to try to pass judgment on conflicting rights, giving each its due, but exclusively to emphasize the right which we are asserting. Propaganda must not investigate the truth objectively and, in so far as it is favourable to the other side, present it according to the theoretical rules of justice; yet it must present only that aspect of the truth which is favourable to its own side.” Mein Kampf, Chapter 6, “War Propaganda”.

Calling for a sniper’s bullet to solve your problems is irrational and can get you a visit from the Secret Service. Understanding what is deception and what the laws are will provide greater assistance.
Education and an understanding of the Constitution and your rights is paramount before we start believing every fairy tale that is thrown at us. Be able to see a lie and to know what to do or not do under the law.
