Gang of 8 Plan to Deal with American’s Job Surplus by Importing 1 Mil Workers a Year

America is facing a serious problem. There are just too many jobs. With unemployment at negative 6 and employers lining up outside the houses of prospective employees to beg them to take a job, the job surplus is becoming a real drag on the economy. Many workers report taking on second and third jobs because there are just so many jobs out there.

But our elected officials have an answer. Comprehensive Immigration Reform will help fight America’s outrageous job surplus by bringing in lots of cheap labor.

The Senate’s draft immigration bill will increase the inflow of foreign workers to 1 million people per year, according to government data and news reports.

The 1 million inflow would provide almost one foreign worker for every four Americans who turn 18. The rate would be high enough to fill up all the extra non-farm jobs created during the last six months.

The 1 million inflow would include at least 350,000 people capable of competing for middle-class skilled jobs sought by the 1.8 million Americans who graduate from university each year. Only about 10 percent of the workers would be farm workers.

Apparently our unemployment rates are much too low. It’s time to see how much higher they can go.

The inflow of workers is good for the Democratic Party’s political clout, because it increases unemployment, reduces wages and boosts dependence on government aid.

Well there is that…

On April 3, The Associated Press also reported that a side deal on agricultural workers would offer residency and citizenship to agricultural workers who work seven years in the fields.

So this is a temporary migrant worker program… leading to citizenship. Immigration reform doesn’t get any more comprehensive than that.

    Importing Undocumented Democrats! Of course!

Hang on a minute, isn't there high unemployment in some states? Can't there be a migration of workers from one area of the U.S. to another? If there's a shortage of workers to do unskilled or semi-skilled jobs then surely that's the answer.
No, because maybe you need skilled workers, so I guess that Obama is going to import the best Doctors, Dentists, Engineers and so on, from around the World, places such as the UK, Japan, Germany, Israel and so on.
    Mmm, who am I kidding?

Canada has one tenth the population of the United States, yet we take in 250,000 immigrants per year. In comparable numbers, it would be as if the U.S. accepted 2,500,000 immigrants per year. (These numbers are unsustainable for Canada. It is suicide, but no Canadian can dare talk about it).
