Gay Men Responsible for Most Military Sex Assaults

Liberal activists speak endlessly about heterosexual rapes in the military, but remain silent about the fact that the majority of sexual assaults in the military… are homosexual.

military_s220x390

Instead of denouncing the culture of homosexual sexual abuse, they practice a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy toward it, while demanding that the military bring in more homosexuals to commit even more sexual assaults.

More military men than women are sexually abused in the ranks each year, a Pentagon survey shows, highlighting the underreporting of male-on-male assaults.

When the Defense Department released the results of its anonymous sexual abuse survey this month and concluded that 26,000 service members were victims in fiscal 2012, which ended Sept. 30, an automatic assumption was that most were women. But roughly 14,000 of the victims were male and 12,000 female, according to a scientific survey sample produced by the Pentagon.

“It appears that the DOD has serious problems with male-on-male sexual assaults that men are not reporting and the Pentagon doesn’t want to talk about,” Elaine Donnelly, who heads the Center for Military Readiness, said. She noted that only 2 percent of assailants are women.

The problem will now only get worse as the gay agenda dominates the military. There was a reason that gay men were kept out of the military.

Women are still being assaulted at a higher rate than men, but the homosexualization of the military will even up those numbers with truly ugly results.

  • Johnconrad

The agenda has always been to make the US weaker.

    Looks like it's paying off.

  • mylesman

Under obama and clinton, the military's priority is gay and muslim outreach. The top brass signed on early with obama/clinton to make these groups feel better and to punish conservatives who don't espouse the "social justice" mantra.

In a few more years, the American public will fear the dept of defense just like we do the IRS. The generals and admirals will be no different than the lois lerner types in this oppressive bureaucracy.

  • Looking4Sanity

    Leviticus 18:
22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

    Leviticus 20:
13: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

    • Murff

Start living by all the rules in Leviticus before you start judging others with them.

      • Looking4Sanity

I wouldn't rely on that defense on Judgment Day, friend. You need to get your mind right.

      • Mary Sue

says the person who doesn't understand what "ALL" the Leviticus rules are classified as and doesn't understand that the "don't eat pork/shellfish/etc – don't mix fabrics" thing is a very different sort of thing than not sleeping with another man. One has to do with ritual clean-ness, which will NOT "send you to hell", the other has to do with, well, the 5th commandment (thou shalt not commit adultery).

    • Parenthetical Phrase

Looking4Sanity: you are not just quoting the Bible; you are advocating a response. Both Orthodox Jews and devout Christians have long rejected the death penalty to homosexuals; the only people who advocate it are Muslims. Are you a Muslim? Sexual assaults in prisons are quite common but they are just as often committed by "straight" prisoners. I don't know what is causing the huge rise in sexual assaults but I would venture a guess that SOME of it has to do with the stress level our military is facing in these wars. The culture in Iraq and Afghanistan may also have something to do with it.

      • Looking4Sanity

I'm no Muslim, but you sound like one of those “social justice christians” to me. I bet you're big on that whole redistribution of wealth as your “Christian charity” thing too.And I never advocated any action at all. I only quoted the Scripture verbatim. Seems like you have a problem dealing with the fact that all sin is not equal. There is a reason homosexuality carries a Biblical death penalty, whether we choose to enforce it or not. You would do well to consider that.

      • Jennifer

Parenthetical Phrase: By “death” the Bible will often refer to the second death. No one would advocate the death penalty here on earth for homosexuality, but God advocates it for the second death. Might be a good idea to learn this concept if you’d like to be off of the death row list yourself in God’s system of Judgement.

  • Stephen Real

Nobody yet that has been charge with peeping tommery, or sexual assault has been gay yet.

These extreme conservatives love to think about the dicck.

    What’s wrong with you people?

    • Mary Sue

The media tends to blackout such stories, thus the general public doesn't always hear about it.

  • Chuck Anziulewicz

Have you ever considered the possibility that what you call "homosexual" assaults are often committed by men who would otherwise identify as Straight (i.e. heterosexual)? Just like in prison, you have a predominantly male environment full of emotional and physical stress. Even if every self-identified Gay man was removed from the military, my guess is that these "situational" sexual encounters and assaults would still take place. And I doubt there are many Gay Americans who are willing to go through the rigors of basic training for the privilage of serving their country, only to throw it all away by committing rape.

For what it’s worth, I really don’t care if any soldier, Gay OR Straight, is disciplined or booted out of the military because of inappropriate conduct when on-duty. That’s not what’s at issue here. A qualified soldier should not be at risk for losing his career simply because of who he’s dating on his own time.

Hold all soldiers to the same standards of professional behavior, regardless of their sexual orientation, and the military will be able to do its job just fine.

    • Viet Vet

I can say that when I was in the service, I never saw such a thing or even heard of such a thing. I never even heard of talk or rumors of such a thing. No doubt a small, very small, percentage of what you claim could be true, because nothing is 100%.

  • William Sanchez

I lost my promotion to a group of Gay women in my reserve unit. One who pretended to be a friend and I was a supervisor of my work section. I was deployed over seas and had attended NCO academy, before I left. This would have made my chances of promotion undisputable ,once I returned. But once ,I did return they placed me as a supervisor of all the airmen that were in trouble for not working on their skills qualification exams. The person that was responsible for them was their supervisor was made second in command of the section. I ended up in front of the commander with these airmen the first week, I came back , which made me look bad. Over seas I worked at a base that broke all previous records or receiving and transporting cargo and passingers. I was designated a section supervisor over active duty and reservist at Rein Main AB, Germany. We broke all Previous DOD records the time I was there. Instead I get back to a unit were all the favorites were in higher up NCO positions and they suceed in squizing me out of a Master Sergeant promotion, That person I took over his superviser position , took 3 years to make Master, I was ready and qualified to make Master when I got Back. Gay people in the Military Promote themselves, and they do it without honor or scruples. So I am glad I retired when I could!!!

I doubt those figures Daniel . There are no doubt homosexuals in all branches of the service , however to make such a statement as you allege , I would like to see those statistics AND their SOURCE .
Statements like this are what makes conservatives and teebaggers a laughing stock .

    • Tali

Your use of the epithet “teabaggers” invalidates any point you might possibly be trying to make.

      Your arrogance is truly astounding.

      • slider 96

Sue me . Whatever I think doesn't change the FACTS > and whether or not I use the PERJORATIVE [richly deserved ] is IRRELEVANT as to the "strange statistic " cited by Daniel .
As far as any arrogance is concerned , look in the mirror . Teebaggers lump the MAJORITY of the electorate in this country with NOTHING BUT EPITHETS ….you hypocrite .

SLIDER takes is in the ass.

          • slider 96

Obsessed with gay acts there Che ? That what you spend your time thinking about you teebagger ?

      • Ell

Teabagger doesn't mean member of the Tea Party, although the chucklehead "slider" above grouped them together with conservatives.

Sorry but teabaggers are q*u*e*e*r*s, a democrap constituency.

This is unacceptable, period. No one serving should have to worry about anythng like this. The miltary has an obligation to keep this from happening, and the fact that they aren't is disgusting.

  • Tecumseh

Any Libtard who uses "Teebagger" is a lying propagandizer for the Left's intolerance and hate! Period! Notice how hateful they are when presented with facts? These are the same "Salad Tossers" whom audit illegally conservatives patriots and of course Tea partiers! We'll see how they do when we get the senate back? LOL! Revenge is a dish best served cold scumbags!

    • slider 96

LOLOLOL ….. What FACTS ? Oh you mean like "the majority of rapes committed in the military are committed by homosexuals " ?
Don't play your stupid hate game with me , as you shift subjects . As far as teebaggers getting the Senate back ? I doubt that , because when you're finished beating Benghazi to death , and the AP issue [which by the way was demanded by you wingnuts after security leaks ] you'll have a fat chance . The IRS ? Let the chips fall were they may , of all the phony politicized issues brought to the fore by fools , the IRS is the only valid one .

    • Catherine

And the word Teabagger has a homosexual meaning (this word is apparently very appealing to "slider" for some reason). So, using it to troll this article with context shows an amazing lack of self awareness- which, come to think of it, is a defining feature of a liberal.

      • Viet Vet

Exactly Catherine, teabaggers are Q*U*E*E*R*S, a democrap constituency. Slider is the perfect example, shilling for the q*u*e*e*r*s and democrappers at the same time.

      • slider 96

Gee , what a genius you are Catherine !!! One thing I must say about MEMBERS OF THE TEA PARTY WHOM I CHOOSE TO CALL TEEBAGGERS , you all have a thing about homos , and cite homo acts in many of your arguments . That's ok , whatever melts your grits .
I take exception to the ridiculous statistic used in this article to drive a particular political narrative . Of course you totally overlook that and feel no insult when someone foists foolishness under your nose . Sorry Catherine , but you're not too bright .But HEY ! That's what makes you a TEEBAGGER .

  • Murff

Cherry pickin data never tells the whole story. Compare these numbers with numbers from the past, compare percentages of men vs. women being assaulted instead of totals.

It's odd how the conservative thinks.

(Aggressor) – (Victim). =. (Conservative solution)
Men – Women =. Women should not be in the military.
Gays – Men =. Gays should not be in the military.

    My idea?
Aggressor – Victim = Aggressor is punished and booted out.

Every adult should be able to serve, if they can't manage to NOT sexually assault other people, they get booted. Stop blaming the system, or the victims, and start blaming and punishing the criminals!

    • Viet Vet

Every male straight person should have to serve.

    • homer

SO, Tell me, how does a liberal think? and how do you think? Here's how i think, just so you know how a conservative thinks!! Men, all men, from the age of 18 0n up to 35 should serve, at least 4 years, with no chance to get out of it. DRAFTED! No women or men ought to serve on a mixed crew of any kind..IT never works! Homosexuals, NEVER should be admitted to the military, UNIT cohesion is at stake! KNOW anything about that! Do you KNOW what it is like to have to depend on another man in you division when in battle or in a drill for battle! The aggressor should be Punished according to the law, IF, and I say IF, that person is found Guilty!! The law works when applied! I was there and I KNOW what I am talking about, so please, unless you have been there w/ a mixed crew, don't tell me, I;ll tell you!! P.S. Please take a few minutes and give me ONE, I mean ONE example of what Integration in any form has done for society, and what GOOD it has done for the betterment of mankind compared to what was 60 years ago? Please tell me, I have a few seconds that it will take for you to tell me!!

  • MarcoLuxe

Why no comparison between DADT and post DADT? Why no % comparisons? With the vast majority of the military male, the % of M on M assault is tiny compared to of % assaults on women. It seems likely that the policy change re DADT has nothing to do with the numbers.
Elaine: Stop distorting the numbers. Better yet, it's time to get a real job that's useful and productive. Hanging on just makes you look out of touch and desperate. So sad

    • Parenthetical Phrase

Who is Elaine? I don't see a posting from any such person.

  • RUI

Show me the matriarchal or homosexual society that survived unto this day. Actually, here's a picture of that society:

  • Mary Sue

A relative of mine who was in Vietnam related how one man was caught trying to rape another man, and was beaten up for it, when they were over there.

    • homer

When I was inthe Military: If they found out you were a homosexual, they'd throw a blanket party and then that individual would be out so fast: he'd be gone by days end, or faster! I mean officers or enlisted, subamrine or sea bound vessel: It did not matter! That was that and should still be the way it is: who doesn't know that?

  • David Weinstein

Stunning stupidity here. First, the number of male-on-male assaults as determined by the survey method described above is lower in 2012 than in 2008, prior to the repeal of DADT. You would know that if you actually bothered to look at the Defense Department report. The same report also tallies assaults that have actually been reported, and 90% of these are male-on-female and that has been steady for years. So whether one looks at actual reported assaults or assaults calculated by a survey method, there is no correlation b/t male-on-male assaults and the "homosexualization" of the military.

Second, there is not a single bit of evidence that these asaults are perpetrated by "gay men." The Dept. of Defense made no such finding. In environments that are predominantly male, most sexual assaults will be male-on-male. 100% of prison rapes are male-on-male. Does the author think that "gay men" are responsible for these rapes?

How does David Horowitz allow something this dumb to get posted.

    • Viet Vet

I agree, he should ban you from ever posting again.

    • slider 96

It fits in with the narrative that homo's are taking over the world and it's because of the lefties and Obama .Ergo , a wild statistic like this one .

    • homer

Really, I remember when i was in: two homosexuals, that were not known to be so, but it was suspected: they had a @#$%%^& spat and one killed the other! I am NOT even going to get into the other Homosexual sexcapades that went on…like a sub officer who went and told the C.O. he was a Homosexual and he was off that boat before he was even hungry for his dinner!! They put him out!! The whole object of a military is:UNIT COHESION! One man has to place his life in the other members hands and vice versa, they MUST work as ONE unit and that will not happn w/ mixed multitude of woman and homosexuals etc P.S. lest you think i am some radical, whatever, if you really want to prove whether a woman is capable, let her man her OWN naval vessel as "SEE"!! Wellllllll why not, if she can, she can run an all female crew! PUT THIS TO THE TEST!!

  • Brujo Blanco

In a life I investigated sexual assaults in the military. I have seen what happens if any type of sexual assault is tolerated. A sexual aggressor will offend again if he is not stopped. There seems to be a concept that heterosexuals are more likely to be sexual aggressors than homosexuals. My reaction is.who cares? My problem is.that the military is being used as a social experiment.

    • Viet Vet

And as we have seen in every war since Viet Nam and especially the Terror War, the left could care less about how well our military or nation fares. It's all about reducing things down to the lowest common denominator (marxism). Their hate for our country, and disregard for its flag, military and law enforcement personnel, and contempt for our Constitution, is what fuels their insanity.

  • Edward Cline

And with the integration of women in combat and other roles, the numbers of assaults and problems will only increase. But then emasculating the military is the Left's agenda.

    • homer

You are as right as a hot days afternoon rain EDWARD! This is surely the agenda! I have seen that when even doing the P.R.T. test for all the Station of over 3000 personnel, and almost 600 females even the P.T. standards were differant, and less….yet women are equal? This is NOT against women but when you claim a woman is as equal to a man, you are saying they can do the same equal job in the military as a man! Why most women have a hard time doing a maintainence check on a 50lb fire fighting bottle that is assigned one man but takes two women! My wife is NO more equal to me than i am equal to a 6'5 inch 500lb man! She has her job and i have mine! She does NOT want to be equal to me, she just wants to be who God made her!! So, when is the last time a woman successfully ran a mile and a half w/an 80 pound pack on her back?

  • SoCalMike

The only Bagger here is Slider96 passing off her attitude and religious zealotry as a thought process.
She worships the government and hates those who refuse to and reject her false god and false prophet.
She should go back to her alma mater and demand a full refund.

  • HiPlainsDrifter

Like " bullying" in grade school, it goes on no matter how much it is exposed and castigated. I'd bet most military "male" sexual assaults are against real and perceived homos…..it's not right but try stopping it…
Short of keeping gays out of the military… That would be ridiculous …Right..

Just ask and tell..question…"are you gay? " answer "you mean like flaming?" (Bill Murray …Stripes)

    • Viet Vet

For the first 350 years of our history 'gay' was a nice and good word. Now it has been ruined. Our ancestors could have never imagined such an awful circumstance.

  • slider 96

Hey SoCalMike ! You've been doing too much roaming around in the hills out there amongst the marijuana farms . .
Let me dumb it all down for ya chump : if you believe that the majority of rapes /sexual assaults in the military are perpetrated by gays …….then you're just a plain ole' stupid IDIOT .

  • http://twitter.com/BACFA @BACFA

Doesn't the feminizing of our military incite the Jawa to attack our "immoral" force? Leaders worry that GITMO does the same thing & act on THAT, right?

  • The_Questman

Being ex-military I always read these “gay assault” stories with a grain of space dust. The sentence from above explains it all… “It appears that the DOD has serious problems with male-on-male sexual assaults that men are not reporting.” Not reporting implies that NOBODY knows anything about them. These imaginary reports are innuendo and fantasy. It is a far right wing conspiracy theory because of entrenched religious teachings of those afraid of people that are different than they are. The same fear being displayed today by churches against the Boy Scouts.

The facts are there are man on man sexual assaults and they are usually perpetrated by straight men on very young, physically weak and sometimes effeminate young men. Like man on woman rapes these assaults are nothing more than a show of POWER of weaker individuals. They have nothing to do with sexual preference just the ability to make another submit to their will.
False stories about gay men attacking our “real” men are fodder for the fanatics. If it was true, gay men would be dying daily in our military by the overwhelming numbers of straight men in the military seeking to get even with the faggots for perpetrating their unwanted desires on others.
As a supervisor and team leader in Special Operations in the Air Force I had to deal with all kind of improper behavior. The truth is heterosexual men are far more apt to commit sexual crimes than any other group. The truth is the truth no matter what spin you put on it.

    • cptbman

You really should quit lying. Gay men are responsible for the majority of the assaults in the military. The military has the statistics, you don’t. Anecdotes aren’t evidence. Sounds like you’re the one spinning in a desperate quest to protect the gays.

      • JakePH

The stats are that it’s male-on-male. That includes the weird straight-male phenomena of hazing, as well as what is likely the biggest contributor … straight males harassing gay men (which can now, since D.A.D.T., be reported without the victim automatically being punished).

    • Mr. Sir

“The facts are there are man on man sexual assaults and they are usually perpetrated by straight men on very young, physically weak and sometimes effeminate young men”. If a man rapes another man he’s a queer. A straight man does not rape another man. Period.

      • Jerry Hoover

You choice of words are abrasive and demeaning-the use of words such as “queer” is derogatory. Could this be a futile attempt to demean the homosexual or gay population. That word ranks right up there with the “N” word I am sure you would not use that word why would you use the “Q” word. Let me remind you many many homosexuals have served this country and served it well. This occurred in a time where we were hunted down and kicked out for even the suspicion of being gay. I do think it is 2014 and not the 1950′s where your choice of words would have been considered the norm. Yes I do agree that a man does not rape another man this would make him “gay”. Thank You

    • pat ange

are you homosexual, and would you admit it if you are? I doubt it.

  • JakePH

Funny how what is largely homophobic hazing / harassment by straight men is being spun to be some sort of gay problem. The only thing this has to do with D.A.D.T. is that gay service members can now report harassment against them. There are countless accounts out there during D.A.D.T. days of gays being horribly abused (including put in dog kennels and pissed on, shit on, raped with object, etc. by straight men) and then forced to either hide it or risk being punished (they’d find out your gay and have you discharged).

  • The_Questman

Since I was challenged on this… The above “Study” was an anonymous questionnaire & had nothing to do with any empirical evidence. Even the article talks about assumptions. Then there is the last paragraph…:

“Women are still being assaulted at a higher rate than men, but the
homosexualization of the military will even up those numbers with truly
ugly results.” (By what FACTS does the writer make this statement?)

More men are being assaulted, according to the article, than women… then the above last paragraph…”Women are still being assaulted at a higher rate than men…” You can’t have it both ways.

This whole article is nothing more than hype based on a questionable survey. The people taking the survey are not under oath so what they put down cannot be considered any kind of evidence or empirical fact. Since we don’t know the questions in the survey and whether they were answered A,B,C or D or were essay answers we as readers know nothing. The article doesn’t say who the aggressors were or who the victims were. It MADE ASSUMPTIONS. Assumptions the writer of this article preferred to make pointing their finger at gay service members.

Since women are still being assaulted at a higher rate are you also assuming gay men are attacking them too or Lesbians? The TITLE says ‘Gay Men are responsible for most sexual assaults.’ The writer of this article needs to make up their mind…

This whole article is nothing more than homophobic rhetoric and Far right wing propaganda. Take a college statistics course and learn how Surveys and polls can be manipulated to have any outcome you desire depending on how the questions are asked…. I’ve voted Republican my entire life starting with Ford. I’m right of center and believe everyone should practice their own religion. I cannot and will not stand by and put up with BS stories like this whose only purpose is to spread hatred about another group that in my years of Military service experience have found they don’t deserve.

  • JPH

Garbage journalism, like the above article, is what causes conservatives to wonder how they will ever be taken seriously by the public at large. If the liberals take control of the Senate and Presidency it is through crap trying to be sold as truth.

  • sbark

so if women are still being assaulted at “a higher rate”………then there must be a substantial number of Lesbian on straight assaults also……..

  • sbark

so if women are still being assaulted at “a higher rate”………then there must be a substantial number of Lesbian on straight assaults also……..

  • tomkat1111

Hmmm. Using the statistics provided in the above article, the military could cut sexual abuse over 50 % by banning gays. Seems like a simple, sensible solution.

  • Mason Burdette

OMG This is crap right wing biased and based on unfounded facts. Report what you know as FACT, not your wild imagination.

  • Seanmar

Let’s NOT allow the military to become a homosexual club.
