George Zimmerman Wasn’t on Trial —- We Were

George Zimmerman, Mark O'Mara, Don West, Lorna TruettThe media indictment of George Zimmerman had little to do with the Latino Obama supporter or with the man he shot. These two men, one in life and one in death, were exploited to tell a story about racism; even though the one thing that both the Zimmerman and the Martin families managed to agree on was that race was not the issue.

Race was not the issue when George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin, but race was the story that the media insisted on telling. It was the story that everyone from Obama on down told and retold. And so the story stopped being about the need to determine what actually took place using eyewitnesses and forensic evidence, and instead became a toxic sinkhole of politically correct outrage and racial guilt.

The one thing that everyone knows about Martin and Zimmerman is the thing that matters least. Race. Based on George Zimmerman’s history, which included defending a black homeless man who had been a victim of police brutality, Trayvon Martin’s race would not have been a factor in his calculations. But the media was not interested in any of those things. The liberal narrative consists of a box labeled “white racism” that its activists have to fill from time to time. George Zimmerman was put into that box, not because of who he was or what motivated him, but because it was time to put someone in that box.

The race-baiting left had to tell its familiar story and they weren’t going to let anything get in the way of telling that story. They have to tell and retell that story because it establishes their moral authority to run our society and our lives.

The story is black and white with no room for ambiguities or gray areas. It’s about race as martyrdom. It’s about white guilt. The story is already written and the left is always looking to stick someone’s name in the empty space between “White racist” and “Minority victim.” The head of Stalin’s secret police once said, “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.” The American left reverses that equation. They already know the crime. All they need is the man.

The goal of the rally organizers, the reporters putting their best face forward at the teleprompter and of Obama, rediscovering the son he never had, was not to indict or imprison George Zimmerman. That was a secondary or tertiary goal. It wasn’t George Zimmerman’s freedom that they wanted to take away. It was our freedom.

The left does not indict or convict individuals. It indicts and convicts entire groups. Their show trials indict individuals for the crime of being a member of a class and then convict the entire class based on the trials of those individuals.

Zimmerman wasn’t being indicted as one man, but as a representative of a group. It didn’t matter that his appearance, his background and his motives did not fit the profile. He was indicted as a white racist. And by indicting him, the media was actually indicting the ordinary American for being part of a racist system that murders black youth. The system that they call America.

Trayvon Martin became every black teenager everywhere. George Zimmerman became every white man everywhere. The simplified portraits of both men transcended their identities and defined them solely by the media’s construct of their races. They stopped being individuals and became characters in a familiar media story; “White” and “Black,” “White Racist” and “Minority Victim.”

Within the unreal world of the left’s race-baiting narrative, George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin were stripped of their identities and transformed into iconic figures in a crude story of America as a country where a white man can murder a black man and get away with it. This is the story that the left needs to constantly retell because it justifies their overreach of government power.

The Zimmerman verdict gives the left its final dramatic conclusion to the race-baiting narrative by establishing the guilt of the system and by extension the society that is run by that system. And that is what it had sought to accomplish all along.

The left isn’t just out to indict George Zimmerman. It’s out to indict all of us. It isn’t just out to lock up George Zimmerman. It’s out to lock up all of us. The prison in which it intends to lock us up is big. It’s a 3.794 million square-mile prison for 314 million prisoners. The prison that they are building is meant to cover a country that used to be known as the United States.

The first goal of the Zimmerman case was to deepen racial divisions. That mission was undeniably accomplished. African-Americans walk away from the trial more certain than ever that the country is racist and that white people can get away with murder. There may be no race riots arising out of the verdict and even the hate crimes will likely be limited to a dozen violent attacks, but the deeper impact will be on a black community more resentful and more certain that the only thing standing between it and slavery is maintaining the absolute power of the Democratic Party.

It is no coincidence that the shooting of Trayvon Martin was elevated to prominence while both parties were preparing for a national election. The political work of the shooting was already done last year and the verdict won’t reverse that. The Trayvon Martin shooting was used to fuel outrage and boost voter turnout in the black community.

The second goal was to give the Justice Department more leeway for intervening in local cases and to put local authorities on notice that such interventions can and will happen at any time. After intimidating local authorities into an arrest, an indictment and a trial, not to mention replacing their police chief, Holder’s DOJ has already accomplished its goal which was to treat every local police department like a subsidiary of federal law enforcement whose decisions can be overruled at any time.

Liberal race-baiting isn’t about race in the same way that rape isn’t about sex. It’s about power.

The story of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin was just the story that the left told millions of Americans to make their power grab possible. Any day now, they will find another way of telling the same story. The names will be different. The place may be thousands of miles away. But the story will be the same because the media will have found two more people to fit into its familiar race-baiting narrative.

George Zimmerman will have gone back to living his life, but we as Americans will be on trial once again.

And the story will begin again.

Aww…too bad for Treeboon. The Apefrican-American “ko-MUNE-it-tay” will just have to continue to flap their oversized gums about how terrible Whitey is, while remaining mum on the epidemic of black-on-White crime. I wouldn’t be surprised if the HNIC (look it up) directs Holder to charge Zimmerman with a federal civil rights lawsuit just to prevent his simian constituents from chimping out.

Meanwhile, don’t kid yourself in thinking that this wasn’t exactly what race pimps like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson wanted. They feed off of racial strife, as do those members of a certain swarthy ethno-religious “tribe” who are pulling the strings at the top.

    • davarino

Thanks for making things worse. Your retoric is not welcome here.
Go back and tell Jackson and Sharpton you couldnt paint FPM as racist

Oy, you’re welcome, Bubbeleh! Any time. ;)

And by the way, it would seem based on the ratings of my original comment that my “retoric” [sic] is more welcome around here than not. If you want to recruit some more yeshiva bochurs to “thumb me down,” I won’t take offense. :)

So much for any “racial alliance” against the Jews that you Nutzis keep yelling about.

AmericaFirst’s comment above sounds like a classic “false flag” operation. Just like those lefties who infiltrated Tea Party protests and waved offensive posters.

      • EarlyBird

That’s an excellent point. It’s so over the top it seems impossible to be real.

The sad thing is that he’s got more thumbs up than thumbs down, from the knuckle draggers on this board. Looks like the false flagger wins.

        • No2Deviants

GayBird is desperately looking for allies. But I don’t think it will work, GayBird. People have seen your trite liberal bigotry too often. You are unmasked, though you still doth protest too much.

        • objectivefactsmatter

His anger at racial flame-throwers is legitimate, which can explain why he’d get some thumbs up. Some people accept that rhetoric gets heated when people are angry.

OTOH, his anti-Semitism actually puts him clearly in league with you. But in the end, it’s the destiny of uncivilized people to eventually kill each other. I wouldn’t count him as your friend if I were you.

          • EarlyBird

That ogre is simply an honest representation of far too many of your fellow reactionaries and paranoiacs here at Front Rage Hackazine. Do any of your friends – assuming you have any – know you consider this your main source of news and information, and if so, aren’t you embarrassed?

          • objectivefactsmatter

“That ogre is simply an honest representation of far too many of your fellow reactionaries and paranoiacs here at Front Rage Hackazine.”

Which is why his comments were deleted. I guess we need your decoder ring to translate all of the similar messages that you derive your objective analysis from.

          • EarlyBird

And by the time FPM had enough shame to actually pull the plug on that garbage it was up to what…15 thumbs up votes? This place is just a couple of inches removed from Storm Front. And if it wasn’t in thrall to hard right Israel First Zionists, it would make Storm Front read like Mother Jones.

          • objectivefactsmatter

Stormfront readers are allowed to read and vote here.

“And if it wasn’t in thrall to hard right Israel First Zionists, it would overshoot Strom Front.”

According to your feelings. Since you’re insane, we don’t care about your feelings at all.

      • AmericaFirst

Did somebody mention *false flags*? You mean like the Lavon Affair? The USS Liberty? 9/11, anyone? Teach me more, Rebbe, why don’t ya?

        • objectivefactsmatter

“Did somebody mention *false flags*? You mean like the Lavon Affair?”

No. The Lavon Affair was a trivial false flag operation in Egypt, but was not supported by legitimate governmental decision-makers. OTOH even if it was, so what? When you’re engaged in total war, you have to consider adapting tactics of the enemy. Were the tactics appropriate? I wouldn’t advise it. But compared to the perfidy of the enemy, I can’t say it was “unethical” in context.

          “The USS Liberty?”

Not false flag. That was the result of Johnson getting too involved in tactics and global politics, trying to spy on the Israelis. The spying was an act of war. The ship was warned to stop spying once it was discovered that the US was passing real-time intelligence to the UK who was passing it to Jordan, who obviously shared with other belligerents. It was a legitimate action on the part of Israel but the details were too embarrassing to discuss publicly. How you can call that false flag is beyond me. Nobody denies that Israel attacked the American ship.

          “9/11, anyone?”

George Bush ordered the CIA to create a false religion called “Islam” and to create false historical narratives about someone supposedly called “Mohamed.” Eventually they blew up the WTC on their own without any whistle-blowers who might have had a problem with the plan. Those small conspiracies are easy to cover up forever.

But in any case, this was to support the “military industrial complex” that loyal Democrats like Eisenhower warned us about.

What else would you like to know?

    • EarlyBird

      Wow. You are repulsive.

      • No2Deviants

The Progressive Republican party elected the Marxist, Abraham Lincoln, who proceeded with a communist revolution, complete with an illegal war, and crimes against humanity.

Then the Progressives switched to the Democrat ticket. The Republican party was formed by Progressives. That is why the two parties seems so similar.

    Reconstruction continues to this day.

    • objectivefactsmatter

Communists believe in slave labor, but not slavery. Communists would have arrested their slaves first and then worked them to death on industrialization projects.

Communists did support the civil rights movement in the USA in order to put their spin on things, but they didn’t develop the ideas of liberty for all.

You have no clue about what you’re talking about.

  • jackinthebox

This trial revealed the flaws of Floridas stupid “Stand your Ground” laws.

Zimmerman was tracking Martin, Martin exercised his “Stand your Ground” rights. Now Martin is dead and Zimmerman acquitted.

Apparently, those who exercise their “Stand your Ground” rights in Florida do so at their own risk. In case of fatality, the “Stand your Ground” regulation depends solely on the testimony of the surviving party. These “justifiable homicides” have tripled in Florida since the introduction of this idiotic regulation.

Wanna kill someone? Invite them to Florida and get it done without witnesses. Then send a donation to the NRA.

    • unionville

I believe the only part of the Florida “Stand your Ground” law that would have applied to Trayvon would have been “In any other place where a person has a right to be, that person has no duty to retreat IF ATTACKED and may meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself…” Firstly, that does not sound like a stupid law at all. It sounds like common sense. And secondly, there is absolutely no evidence, even from the intellectual giant he was talking to on his cell phone at the time of the incident, to indicate that Zimmerman laid a hand on Trayvon. It was the other way around. Trayvon instigated the initial contact.

    • autdrew

Except that stand your ground wasn’t the defense in this case. Self defense was. Two different things. Following someone isn’t illegal, assault is. The prosecution could not DISprove GZ account of what happened.

    • J Simson

Does stand your ground include jumping on someone and pounding his skull on the concrete?

      • ltcdmward

Yes. If in the above example at least one foot is touching the ground, er, concrete.

    • glpage

Martin went beyond standing his ground; he attacked Zimmerman. If he had just called Zimmerman out, called him some names, and then walked back to his dad’s place we wouldn’t have this mess to talk about.

      • Sheik Yerbouti

Most of the whiners complaining about this issue didn’t even watch the trial. They didn’t need to because no amount of logic can sway them from their first impression. That’s why sideshow acts like the Jesse and Al circus are so amazingly successful. Like it or not, once a concept has been implanted into the mind of most blacks, it’s not coming back out. It’s a write-only memory.

        • ProgDestroyer

Well stated my friend. With a national average high school drop-out rate of over 50% and a similar percentage of “functional illiteracy” in many urban areas, it is no wonder that “urban educated” blacks are so easily manipulated by demagogues in the neo-communist democratic party. At least in the past we had a decent manufacturing base that could employ dolts like this on an assembly line. Sadly for them one needs to do more than speak ebonics and read at a third grade level to be a productive member of society. Of course anybody drawing attention to this plight and places personal responsibility into the conversation is the racist. With a new pathway to citizenship coming urban blacks are doomed to a future of utter misery but at least they will have the comfort of knowing it is whitey’s fault. I am sure that will work out well for them as well as that argument does today.

  • cedarhill

Exactly right but I’d add at least “keeping the ball rolling” for Obamavoters going into the 2014 elections. They’ve added another solely emotional issue to club their opponents. It even could be a bigger win for Obama since he’s gets outrage from his supporters, joining issues like gun control and war on women, kids and the evil white Tea Party folks woven into the narrative.

    What to do?

GZ should bring a civil action against Trayvon’s estate seeking damages for the injuries he received in Trayon’s viscious assault. Join his parents as well since he was their “child” and responsible for Trayvon’s actions plus it exposes the parents to GZ going after the 1 million dollars they got from the HOA as well as profits made using Trayvon’s name and image. Just for starters. They’re going to sue him anyways, so he should fire first.

In a separate suit, he should go after Combs, Sharpton, et al, as well as Corey and each prosecutor for suborning witnesses, distortions, etc., etc.

As those law commercial say, “make them pay”. And it will confound the Left, confuse their issue and put the facts back into the discussion. A good offense… and the preponderence of the evidence fully supports GZ.

    • alpha_1

I was thinking about the very same idea and I agree with you 100%.

      • glpage

Add to it the DOJ for sending people to Sanford to instigate protests.

    • DontMessWithAmerica

Right on! And not only is this a sound idea, it may be a necessary one because Holder will not let this go; it has become a personal battle for POTS and the DOJ. Obama’s statement on the verdict reminded me of Shakespeare’s line, “I come to bury Caesar not to praise him,” a subtle call to arms for black rednecks.

    • DLinz

Bingo!! Great idea…..the best defense is a good offense. We all know this is only the first round in this fight, so go on offense and take it to the next level.

  • No2GOP

Aww, poor white guy has to write an article about how he feels persecuted by the Trayvon Martin trial. Boo-hoo, you little baby! Zimmerman got his rocks off by killing Martin after Martin kicked his butt. But, Zimmerman is the one that’s still alive – and free. Yet, your pansy little butt can only focus on your pathetic feelings of false persecution. You’re a disgrace to the rest of us sensible, logical, confident white people who don’t stereotype those with different skin color. You’re sad, disgusting, and a drag on society.

    • BigSoph

So you are saying that if you can beat someone up, it makes you the better man?

Wow, you must be eager for the day when you can more openly genuflect before the feet of Sharpton, prostrating yourself before the black community leaders to show how guilty you feel

Your brain has been pithed in what is known as a lobotomy. Ironically, though, the lobotomy made you a smidgen smarter considering how often your Mommy must have sat on your head. Jeez, you’re dumb! Astoundingly dumb!!

Hey punk some of us have real jobs that require us to be out of the house after 0700, unlike yourself. Just wondering here, are you in 6th grade? I only ask due to the “jeez you’re dumb” comments which are the stock answer from most 11 year olds when they are embarrassed by their utter ignorance and think a reply is still required. Some day if you grow up and mentally pass the stage of immature adolescence you may discover how juvenile and obtuse statism is. You are clearly comfortable having somebody do your reasoning and thinking for you so you can free up some mental acuity to memorize their bumper sticker slogans. Statism/liberalism is the mark of a very weak intellect and is bereft of any thought or wisdom which is always predicated on facts and experience. I hope you figure this out sooner than later before somebody tries to fit their fist into your ignorant soup cooler.

Substantiate that factually baseless claim that Zimmerman Got his rocks off, please. You say it with certainty that there must be reams of evidence to buttress that, right? Since you are apparently fixated on *pansy little butts*, use yours, or wherever the sparse conglomerate of cells that comprise your brain resides, and man up and provide the proof.

I don’t recall any of that being introduced in evidence. If you had proof, just think of what you’ve done! We just witnessed the attempted lynching of an innocent Latino man by the media and the black race hustlers. White Latinos where on trial here but the silence from the Latino community is deafening.

      Aye!

Repubs’ 2014 battlecry: “Stop the War on Hispanics!”

Great read as always. The largest race card trial was with OJ Simpson, everyone who listened and saw the evidence know that OJ was guilty as sin for murdering 2 white people, yet the court systems allowed the defense to twist the story around and put Mark Fuhrman on trial. That trial is a sample of what craziness has entered into our Juridical system. Instigators like Jessee Jackson, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder and Obama turn a blind eye to. Whitey is raped and or murdered by a Black man they hide their heads and say nothing about the abuse of the system in those cases.

Final note: Our country is in serious trouble now that we are seeing more and more trial cases having influence by Politicians through the Judges….

    • EarlyBird

Oh please, Walter. There is not an epidemic of black on white crime in America, and there is not an epidemic of black people getting away with crimes in our system.
Confront the race baiters like Jackson and Sharpton, and fight unfair claims of racism, but let’s not play “Victim” ourselves.

Blacks under 18 are more than 17 times more likely to be arrested for murder than Whites the same age.

80% of the victims of race crimes are Whites.

Blacks commit 7.5% times more violent interracial crimes than Whites.

31% of the robberies involved Black offenders and White victims 2% involved White offenders and Black victims.

1.3 million of the 6.6 million violent crimes committed in the U.S. each year are interracial.

The 20- 24-year-old age group accounted for 7.1% of the population, while accounting for 42.5% of those killed by firearm homicides.
The 20 – 24 age group also accounted for 27.7% of all homicide offenses.

13- 16 year olds accounted for 8% of the overall population and accounted for 3.6% of firearm homicide victims, and 3.7% of overall homicide offenses.

Among juveniles (14- 18) serving in correctional facilities, 86% owned a gun at some point, with 66% acquiring their first gun by age 14.
Juveniles most often acquire guns from family, friends, drug dealers and street contacts.

          • EarlyBird

Here’s what I wrote in a previous post on the Zimmerman trial:

“These electronic boards are the only place for white people to tell the obvious truth: there is a serious problem in the African-American community of thug culture, crime, violence, dropping out, multiple illegitimate and un-parented children, and on and on. The reason there is this terribly negative stereotype of young black males is that far too many fit this stereotype. BLACK women (such as my wife) hold their purses a little tighter when rowdy, rough, young black men get on the elevator.

And it is no more racism when whites point this reality out than when Obama does to black college audiences.”

            and:

“…why was Zimmerman suspicious? Because Martin had every outer appearance of the little thug that his record shows he was. He fit – yes – the profile of the very same young black thugs who had been breaking into apartments in that neighborhood. If red-haired midgets had been breaking into these homes, and Zimmerman saw a red-haired midget walking through the neighborhood, he’d have been just as suspicious.

We’ve got to grapple with reality here. Young black men with the outer appearance of Martin are associated with violence and dysfunction, as many of them want to be. There is a serious problem inside black America and it has very little to do with white racism.”
Nonetheless, this paranoia by whites on this board being overrun by black criminals is absurd. We hear a ludicrous claim from blacks and liberals that this case was all about a race and a “hate crime.” Nonsense. And on FPM, right wing whites are counter-claiming basically that Martin was just another lil’ N***ger and Zimmerman was keeping the streets clean.

          • ziggy zoggy

Oh, and one more thing… Ask black convenience store employees in all-white neighborhoods if they are terrified for their lives. And now, let’s reverse the situation. Get my drift?

        • ebonystone

Or ask Jesse Jackson. Remember his remarks about walking in an unfamiliar neighborhood after dark, and being frightened when he saw a group of teen-age boys coming towards him. But then they walked under a street-light and he saw that they were white, and he knew he was safe. Later he tried to spin his remarks by saying that he knew that white neighborhoods were well-policed. As though only the presence of loads of cops keeps the whites from running amok.

        • EarlyBird

I COMPLETELY agree. See my response to Acena, above.
But the Zimmerman trial is no more an avenue for whites to vent their frustration at blacks than it should be for blacks to vent their frustration at whites.

          • ziggy zoggy

Sure it is. Why shpuld Whites meekly accept Black violence and racism?

          • EarlyBird

I keep bracing myself for these horrific riots burning across the country, that massive spasm of black on white violence. Haven’t seen it yet. As I predicted, there’s been a lot of loud protests, but nothing like riots. Dont be a scaredy cat.

Have you become aware of the black woman in Florida whose abusive ex-husband had beaten her, and even kicked her while pregnant, against whom she had a restraining order? He broke into her home, trapped her in her small kitchen while threatening her life. She fired a “warning shot” into the kitchen wall, Florida gave her 20 years for that.

But Zimmerman walked free. This is some of the disparities which make black people mistrust the legal system.

All of us should distrust the legal system because it has been co-opted by the corrupt just as every other system in this country. It doesn’t serve justice as much as it serves the pockets of lawyers, judges and the government employees needed to work in the system.

          • pupsncats

Is it that whites are venting their frustration at blacks or their frustration that blacks keep the race-baiting alive when their spokespeople and the party they support are the majority of racists?

      • Patscholar

You obviously have not been following the race-based crimes of the black community wherein a group of hundreds of blacks get together into a mob and destroy property in malls, beat up whites, some have died of the beatings and the press has not been printing this information. Go to WND.com to follow these black on white crimes that are sweeping the nation.

      Martin- Zimmerman Tragedy

      Trayvon
Martin was a victim of two components. Firstly, Trayvon, like the majority
of young Black people in America, was a victim of the science of Marxism.
Marxism is a science exclusively devoted to the fundamental transformation of a
society as small as a community or as large as a nation. One of its
chief agendas is the destabilization of the society by inciting class tensions,
class conflict and Class war. The Democratic Party is rife with
Marxists, but even other government institutions are driven by Marxism.
The IRS is a conspicuous example.

      This is how
it is: The class conflict (class being any group defined by central
traits; ethnicity, race, gender, education, wealth and so on) is promoted
publically. First there is conscious-raising. Remember the
conscious-raising groups in the ’60s? That is the process whereby
the target group is programmed by a constant barrage of propaganda and
made to believe that they are being exploited in the specific and the general
case by another class. Blacks have been made to believe that they are exploited
by whites; their consciousness of this is continuously being raised and
supported by a leftist media. The second step is the self-fulfilling
prophecy step. The propaganda message is internalized and
undisputed by the target class. The third and final step is Rage. This
is when violence or civil disobedience or criminal acts occur. Marxists
have infiltrated government and civil institutions to perpetuate and
expand this process from Rich-Poor, Black-White, Gay-Straight and so
on. The purpose is to destroy capitalism and create the illusion of a
utopia. If you want to see what this
utopia is like, look at Cuba, North Korea, Old Soviet Union, Cambodia under the
Khmer Rouge or any communist or totalitarian regime.

      Trayvon,
like many Blacks anticipated exploitation and harassment by this “creepy
ass cracker.” Like the majority of Blacks, an inner retaliation
which is a normal human response was triggered. He attacked Zimmerman in
his own mind as a self-defense. After all, did he not hear all his life
that he was exploited and disadvantaged by whitey and capitalism? Of
course he did. Trayvon was a victim first of all by the so-called
“Progressive-Liberalism” of the left, which is not liberal at all,
but Marxist. Trayvon was conditioned to believe that he was exploited and that
he needed to defend himself against the “creepy ass cracker”
following him. He, like most young Blacks was prey for the cause of the
      political left.

      Zimmerman, being
totally ignorant of the science of Marxism, naïve with respect to the social
science behind leftist politics, felt that he was doing a community
service. Zimmerman as well was a victim of
      “Progressive-Liberalism” which is really Marxism.

      The tragedy,
here, goes beyond the sad death of the teenager Trayvon Martin and the
political victimization of George Zimmerman. It is the ongoing tragedy
that Blacks that are exploited and violated by the leftist politics mainly of
the Democratic Party Progressive (The Marxists water carriers).
The honor and integrity of Martin Luther King, Junior is trashed by the
political left. All that he had gained has been usurped and
destroyed by the science of Marxism.

      The NAACP
and those demonstrators are victims as well. Eric Holder’s Justice Department
sent instigators to Sanford Florida to fan the flames of class war between
Blacks and whites. This is Marxism on
      display.

    • ziggy zoggy

No we do NOT all weep for the repulsive Martins.

  • J Simson

The goal of the trial was to take away the right of law abiding civilians to defend themselves. To render decent people helpless.

This what gun control is about.

    • CurmudJohn

If they can get rid of the stand your ground laws then the trials will degenerate into endless speculations about whether the defendant retreated far enough, and the only place left for justifiable homicide (legal-eze for self-defense) will be huddled within the walls of our homes. Glad to know an unnamed constantly maligned box store will ship basic groceries to your door for free with a minimum purchase, welcome to the jam and cracker apocalypse, LOL!

    • EarlyBird

No, I think the trial was about whether or not untrained, armed non-professionals are allowed to play cop and make trouble that he then has to shoot his way out of.

Never, ever forget: at least up until the altercation, Martin was doing absolutely nothing wrong. He was in HIS own neighborhood trying to get home. Even Zimmerman’s 911 call said nothing about him DOING anything suspicious.

Zimmerman was not proven legally guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, but this doesn’t mean he is a wonderful guy without some moral culpability.

      • No2Deviants

You’re on the wrong site, liberal bigot. You mean to really be at hiphopnation.com Tell them there about how your amoral heart bleeds for Trayvon.

        • EarlyBird

If you can’t see that AT LEAST up to the point of the altercation Martin was the victim here, you’re stupid.
No, scratch that: you’re blinded by bigotry.

          • No2Deviants

          • westward101

No such thing as reverse-racism. We have just been used to being called racist. One of my many black friends said in a moment of raw honesty, “I know most whites aren’t racist. As a matter of fact, if I had to think about it, yep. More blacks are more racist to whites than the opposite.”

          • DontMessWithAmerica

There you go again, hot head – the pot calling the kettle black.

          • No2Deviants

All across the internet, reverse-racist gays have appointed themselves as the supposed protectors of black thugs. Remember the case where the two black thugs murdered the infant in his stroller near Atlanta? Yep, a white liberal-bigot gay showed up to tell all the critics of the thugs that the critics were “racist”. Same old broken record. They have no morals whatsoever, they only side with the thugs every time.

          • David

No, he wasn’t a victim up to the point of the altercation. NOTHING had been done to him. GZ followed him – BFD! GZ hadn’t done ANYTHING to Martin to make him a victim. If Martin was so terrified of GZ, he could easily have run to his Dad’s house or just kept walking home.

          • unionville

And don’t forget, Martin also had a friggin’ cell phone. If he had felt so threatened, he could have called 911 on Zimmerman.

          • EarlyBird

            That’s a good point, Unionville.

          • No2Deviants

GayBird is doing some sucking up, now. Get off your knees, deviant.

          • acena

If he was really frightened he would have called 911.
            But he was also high.

          • EarlyBird

I believe that Zimmerman followed him (as the evidence shows) before he called 911, and then followed him again afte the call, against the instructions of the 911 operator.
I also believe (though there is no legal evidence) that he confronted Martin, i.e., gave him no way out. I believe he made it clear he was armed, because he was fat, flabby guy who could not handle an altercation. Perhaps M was fighting for HIS life, not the other way around.
If you can’t see SOME culpability on the part of Zimmerman, I don’t know how else to illustrate it. Martin would be alive today if not for Zimmerman playing cop that night.

          • autdrew

Tms girlfriend heard the start of the altercation & testified to it. According to her, TM went back to gz and said what’s your problem? Gz says he didn’t have a problem & TM says you have one now. Then the fight. You didn’t watch the trial did you

          • EarlyBird

I did, and your answer is a non-sequitor. I still believe (and the call you refer to seems to prove) that Z followed one time, called 911, then followed again. The whole “Martin jumped out of the bushes” is total BS, and the call with his girlfriend seems to support that.

          • autdrew

How does it prove that he followed again if she said he arrived at the dad’s house? Gz didn’t go to dad’s house. TM had to have come back. She claims she heard TM ask gz if he had a problem & gz said he didn’t. TM said you got one now. Do you think if flabby gz showed his gun as you claim, TM would have said/done that?
Not to mention, the 911 operator did not order or tell him to do or not to do something. She said we don’t need you to do that. I did not see any evidence presented that disproved gz s story. On the contrary, the prosecution witnesses backed it up

          • EarlyBird

“Do you think if flabby gz showed his gun as you claim, TM would have said/done that?”

Unless Zimmerman is lying about Martin having gone for his gun, as Z claimed, the question is begged: “How did Martin become aware of the gun if it was in a small-of-the back holster and Zimmerman was lying on top of it on his back during the altercation?”

Martin must have some how known Z was armed to have gone for the gun, correct? I think Z displayed or indicated that he was armed.

          • ziggy zoggy

You do not believe what you have written. Left is not right.

          • acena

Apparently you think,as does the MSM, you can just make up a story and insert into the facts

          • EarlyBird

I’ve repeatedly stated that there are no facts to prove Z guilty of either murder or manslaughter, and that the verdict was right. But we can use our heads and see that he is morally culpable of wrongfully setting a series of events into action which ended with a young guy walking home being killed.

          • Proud2bfromtheUSA

Can I ask why you believe something the evidence and human nature does not support?

          • EarlyBird

            Such as?

          • David

That scenario is possible, but only remotely possible because there’s NO EVIDENCE to support it. All the evidence supports Zimmerman’s story.

          • EarlyBird

David, I agree, and that is why I differentiate between what is reasonable given the evidence, vs. what I “believe” happened. It’s also why I believe, under the law, it was okay to find Zimmerman not guilty.

          • EarlyBird

The biggest hole in Zimmerman’s story is his claim that Martin went for his gun. How, with Martin was on top of him punching him, Zimmerman flat on his back, in the dark, and the pistol underneath him in his small-of-the back holster? The next question would be, “How did Martin even know Zimmerman had a gun, given where it was being worn?” Either Zimmerman is lying about Martin going for the gun, or he somehow illustrated to Martin that he had that gun.

But conjecture is different than evidence.

          • westward101

You have stated multiple time you watched the trial yet you keep stating theoretical facts. Please point out one shred of evidence GZ was packing in the small of his back. Also, please direct me to the evidence of GZ following TM before the call. If you watch the trial, you would know where GZ pulled out of (parking), the cut through TM was walking between, AND the relevance of TM being on the side of a very specific (recently burglarized) home. I believe he was just passing through but the fact that it was recently burglarized corroborates GZ suspicion.

Also, besides being an athletic kid, with a phone, and less than 70 yards from his home, with 4 minutes between GZ stating “he ran” and TM’s phone disconnecting, how did TM not make it home? Did GZ have the cops on the phone with a gun on TM in the passager seat of his truck with his mouth gagged? Your conjecture is beyond laughable though you make an honest attempt.

Lastly, go to http://www.youtube.com/user/croakerqueen123 or any of the other COMPLETE recordings of the trial and watch it again. This time, PAY ATTENTION!!! Words like perhaps and maybe are not included in facts.

          • EarlyBird

Actually, why don’t you read my posts again and see if you can understand when someone admits to speculating, vs. dealing with proven facts, as I have differentiated when doing so throughout this thread. (Hint: “maybe” and “perhaps” and “believe” mean I’m speculating.)

Here’s a big heaping shread of evidence that he wore his gun on his back, from Zimmerman’s own video recorded statement to police. Miss it in your exhaustive review of the trial?:

            http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/07/02/1220703/-The-Zimmerman-Draw#

Again: it was correct for Zimmerman to be found not guilty given the lack of factual evidence to convict him. It was a weak case (handled poorly in my opinion). I do “believe” (speculating) that he is morally – not legally – more culpable than could be proven.

          • acena

Martin was a victim of what?

          • EarlyBird

Of being harrassed and having Zimmerman in his face to begin with. One fact we DO know is that he was completely innocently walking from Point A to Point B. Zimmerman WRONGFULLY considered him “those effing guys” who “always get away with it.” Get away with what, walking home?

Don’t you at least see the tragedy in this?

      • fiddler

Trafically Trayvon (with what you just said above), did make a series of bad decisions:
        — Decision #1: He allegedly threw the first punch knocking GZ to the ground. Instead he could have have restrained himself and continued the conversation or withdrew.
        — Decision #2: With GZ on the ground he could have just said leave me a long and turned and walked away. What did he allegedly do? Got on top of GZ.
        — Decision #3: Punching and beating GZ’s head on the ground
        — Decision #4: Reaching for his gun
Tell me, how is GZ responsible for these decisions? Trayvon may have been innocent up to that point, but what about afterwards?
One can choose calm or something else. Very tragically the “something else” took hold of him.

        • fiddler

Fogive the misspellings Trafically should be Tragically.

        • EarlyBird

I BELIEVE that Zimmerman was getting pummeled and feared he was in danger of death or great bodily injury (probably the latter). I BELIEVE he acted in self defense. Certainly there was not enough evidence to convict him otherwise.

But we just don’t KNOW what took place during the altercation (Z’s allegations aside). Here’s what else I BELIEVE (not that it was legally proven):

          – That Z was following M before AND after the 911 call (“playing cop”).

          – That he confronted M and only did so because he was armed and that he illustrated to or told M he was armed before the confrontation – remember, Z thought he was dealing with a criminal.

          – I disbelieve M went for the gun (#4). Because he had a small-of-the-back holster and claimed that he only pulled the gun out when M was on top of him, knees up to his armpits. Tough thing to do; much tougher for M to get it.

(And how could M have known Z was armed in the first place, the way this gun was worn?)

          – It’s a very real possibility that M thought HIS life was in danger and was fighting for HIS life.

Everything about the actual altercation is conjecture but for the fact that Z was losing the fight until he shot M.

Hey GayBird, I introduced you to that twenty-something gay No2Repubs and you didn’t say thanks. Did you have your Skype encounter already? Both of you were gone at the same time. I hope he doesn’t get you to buy him expensive presents, then you’d really be an old fool.

So in other words, you’re a gay person struggling with his sexual identity. It seems you’re obsessed with gay people.

what is sad is that Zimmerman is now branded as a racist for LIFE because of liberal media. for no reason at all. the same crap happened with Bernie Goetz in the 1980’s, but in new york city

    • glpage

And he should file suit against all the media that has tried to defame him and go for some seriously large amount.

    • ReyR

I wouldn’t risk long-time projections, Everett. We humans tend to refer to the status quo, but who knows what tomorrow will bring. There’s every symptom of great change in the air, for all I see. Being branded a racist may be one of his least problems a couple of years from now. When my uncle was expelled from the USSR Communist Party in 1988, it was a tragedy and a life-long stain. In 1991, the USSR was no more, so nobody cared about the party.

The race-baiting left had to tell its familiar story and they weren’t
going to let anything get in the way of telling that story. They have to
tell and retell that story because it establishes their moral authority
to run our society and our lives.

The story is black and white with no room for ambiguities or gray areas.
It’s about race as martyrdom. It’s about white guilt. The story is
already written and the left is always looking to stick someone’s name
in the empty space between “White racist” and “Minority victim.” The
head of Stalin’s secret police once said, “Show me the man and I’ll find
you the crime.” The American left reverses that equation. They already
know the crime. All they need is the man.

Another aspect that I find disturbing is about self-defense. I have read dozens of comments on other blogs, and the Leftists simply do not understand the right to defend yourself. They somehow have convinced themselves that in a life and debath fight (all you need to do) is look to see who did not survive, and Bingo! there’s “the victim”. And said ” victim” is always innocent! It is utterly perverse. But this seems to be the new “logic” for the brain dead masses. Just try to explain to them that if your life is in danger, and you defend yourself, and in the resulting melee the assailant dies due to wounds you’ve inflicted on him, you have committed no crime. It is called Self-Defense! And self defense is not — repeat Not — a crime.

The real enemy is the Marxist agenda in the government. Both Martin and Zimmerman were victims. Here is how.

This is Marxism on
      display.

Tucker Carlson: Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton are ‘hustlers and pimps’
    Sunday, July 14, 2013 13:20 EDT

Carlson said that he felt “terrible” for the Martin family, but he was “positive that people like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton do not deserve to be called civil rights leaders. They are not.”

“They are hustlers and pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions,” he continued. “They know nothing about this. They’re not residents of Florida, they don’t represent anybody, they’re not elected to anything, they don’t have constituencies. And they only reason they are allowed to do this is because we in the press enable them by calling them civil rights leaders. Why do we do that?”

Defense attorneys from the left and right of the political spectrum should be concerned about the prosecution of GZ.
    .

Dershowitz to Newsmax: ‘Prosecutorial Tyrant’ Violated Zimmerman’s Rights
    Sunday, 14 Jul 2013

Famed defense lawyer and Harvard law professor Alan M. Dershowitz is calling for a federal investigation into civil rights violations stemming from the George Zimmerman case — but he says the probe should focus on prosecutorial misconduct rather than on allegations of racial profiling and bias.

Immediately after the verdict was announced, however, the NAACP and outspoken activist Al Sharpton called on the Justice Department to launch a federal civil-rights probe, charging that the case had been racially tainted.

Dershowitz is calling for a civil-rights probe as well. But he contends the person whose rights were violated was Zimmerman.

“I think there were violations of civil rights and civil liberties — by the prosecutor,” said the criminal-law expert. “The prosecutor sent this case to a judge, and willfully, deliberately, and in my view criminally withheld exculpatory evidence.”

When stripped of ulterior motives, racism and blah blah, blah… we find elemental Liberalism: An attack on Natural Rights. i.e. Do we have the Natural Right to defend ourselves?

Any argument implying Zimmerman’s guilt must ignore or justify Martin’s actions. Zimmerman’s guilt means that Martin was justified in killing Zimmerman.

Why? based on race? Really? or because he provoked Martin like some provocatively dressed teenager provokes a rapist? Would she be guilty of murder if she killed her rapist in the act? In a Liberal mind…yes because she put herself in that situation. FAIL.

Bottom line… should we have the empowerment to defend our self from imminent death because it is our Natural Right, or ONLY because the government allows us.

    There is a huge difference.

    • EarlyBird

We have a right to defend ourselves. But there is something questionable about following and confronting a perfectly innocent person, thereby creating a situation whereby deadly force is needed.

The only thing “racial” about this sad incident is that there IS a stereotype – a “profile” – of young black men acting criminally, especially in that neighborhood. But I blame young black men for creating that stereotype/profile, not Z or whites.

In terms of actual evidence we really only know two things: Martin was perfectly, innocently walking from Point A to Point B; and, because of Z’s actions based on mistaken assumptions, they ended in a struggle which Z was losing, and he decided to shoot out of self defense.

What the law must decide is different from what we can know and morally decide. Though Z had a right to defend himself, it didn’t happen in a vacuum, and that HE was in the wrong at least up until that struggle. Martin may not have been totally innocent, but neither was Zimmerman.

          • autdrew

I tried replying above but it won’t let me.
It wasn’t TM s neighborhood. He lived in Miami & when he got kicked out of school, his mother kicked him out of the house. He was staying at his father’s girlfriend’s house.
It was gz s neighborhood & he knew his neighbors. It is entirely possible that he saw an unfamiliar person walking slowly, among the houses, in the cold rain & thought hmmm let me keep an eye on him & call it in.
When I mention that TM took off running it is to point out that his girlfriend says he made it to his dad’s house. Gz lost sight of him. How did the altercation take place??gz didn’t go to dad’s house & drag him out. TM went back!
TM was the only one proven to have racially profiled someone as evidenced by your quoting of the creepy a$$ cracka comment. He had safely arrived at dad’s, he had a cell phone & didn’t call the cops. No, he went back looking for the creepy a$$ cracka to fight

      • autdrew

Wouldn’t an innocent teenager going from point a to point b imply someone on a road or sidewalk & not between houses, in yards or looking in windows, in the cold rain? If Gz was mistaken & TM was not up to something, why did 1st. TM take off running & 2. After having reached the safety of his father’s house, go back & 3. Punch gz in the face?

        • EarlyBird

Even Zimmerman didn’t state that Martin was “looking in windows,” or trying doors, etc., i.e., doing something that would be considered “suspicious.” The ONLY reason for Z’s suspicions (which I addressed fairly above) was Martin’s being a young black man.

As for where he walked IT WAS HIS OWN EFFING NEIGHBORHOOD!. When I was a kid I regularly walked between houses, on neighbors’ lawns. Call a SWAT team.

That he was RUNNING from Zimmerman only proves that HE was scared, that HE was being followed by some “creepy ass cracker,” who had no uniform, etc. HE felt the victim.

So, when he encountered Zimmerman, a stranger in his neighborhood, face to face, HE thought HE was in danger. (And he was.)

A simple fact we may not get away from: Martin had every right to be in his neighborhood and walk to his home, and the entire tragedy started and ended with Zimmerman. The law and understanding levels of culpabilitiy is are separate issues.

      • Eva

Sir, profiling saves lives on a daily basis. You would know it if you worked in the public service sector. And if profiling is so shocking, then one should never leave his house. You were profiled in kindergarten by your peers, again when you were dating and profiled some more when applying for a job. Anyone who goes to a jewelry store – a man or a woman – gets instantly profiled by a well-trained sales staff to appreciate their spending capacity. Call it personality assessment, economic profiling, racial profiling, whatever the case may be, it is inevitable. When whites observe blacks of Martin’s age, demographic, gestures, gait, speech habits, attitudes, etc., they are naturally inclined to profile in order to stay unharmed. And deep inside, if you consider yourself a fair and reasonable person – you know it.

        • EarlyBird

Eva, try actually reading the posts you respond to, okay? Obviously you did not read this section of my post, which constitutes about 1/4 of it:

“The only thing “racial” about this sad incident is that there IS a stereotype – a “profile” – of young black men acting criminally, especially in that neighborhood. But I blame young black men for creating that stereotype/profile, not Z or whites.”
In other words, I agree that there is a “profile” that Martin fit which gave Zimmerman reasonable suspicions. We all profile everybody every day. It’s how we all get through life. We can’t help but do so. It’s in our biology. Fairly or unfairly, outward appearances communicate information to the receiving party.
That said, it is incumbent upon us to try to see beyond outer appearances. The tough looking guy may very well be very decent, while the person in the business suit may be an animal. We need to try to see people as individuals rather than groups, to the greatest degree possible.

          • Eva

Very well, sir. I am glad that we agree on this point. Many of us across the country in general and on this forum in particular are frustrated with how the coverage of events was done in the media. A loss of a life, especially a young life, is always awful. But we live in a lawful society where a citizen gets to defend his life against his assailant. Martin was painted as a sweet, aspiring teenage boy, while in reality he was not. He smoked marijuana, was on suspension from school for this, disrespected his parents, got thrown out of the house by his own mother, acted like a wannabe gangster, certainly had all the markings of one and, most importantly, was witnessed by a number of residents of that community attacking Zimmerman. The trial run through its proper motions, all of the testimonies were given and taken, both sides presented evidence, and in the end it was ruled that the defense had the most factual, comprehensive evidence to convince the jurors that Zimmerman was not guilty. For those who are hell bent on believing that Zimmerman was found not guilty because of a racial injustice, I think it should be noted that the jurors got to learn how selfless Zimmerman was in the past when he stood up for a black man who was being harassed by a police officer and how he volunteered his time to teach black children. Hardly a racist, no?

  • DonaldYoungsRevenge

Here is a thought for the DOJ. There were two brutal murders committed in Chicago back in 2007-08, the victims were two black homosexuals, both close associates and friends of Barack H. Obama and both members of the church Obama and Michelle attended. There has been no justice there for the families of Obama’s friends, the crimes are still unsolved. There is a strong possibility that the crimes were “hate” crimes for crying out loud. The two men have names, Donald Young and Larry Bland, Young was a close enough friend of the President that he was asked to serve on Obama’s campaign team. He just so happened to be investigating the allegations made by Larry Sinclair when he was blasted. The media dropped this incident like a very hot potato.

Why hasn’t Obama had a “beer summit” for those two families so that he could declare that the Chicago police are “acting stupidly” in not solving the crimes? Isn’t the Black Panter’s home turf Chicago, where is the MILLION dollar reward for the apprehension of the killers? Isn’t Chicago the home of Jesse Jackson and his son, where are the marches for justice Rev.? Are there not members of the Democrat Black Caucus living in Chicago, why are they not making loud noises in the Halls of the House demanding they crimes be solved? Why aren’t the liberal racists at MSNBC all over this?

May I say, the silence may come because the evidence may come too close to the ONE they love so dearly.

Nevertheless … as I have already contended … defence attorneys on both the right and the left should be very concerned about the happenings encompassing the prosecution of GZ. I think the scariest thing of all is when you have a federal government and a media so determined to railroad a man that they would both insert themselves into this circus (Al Sharpton of MSNBC and DOJ’s unit that helped organize protests.) for the purpose of deepening racial divides. We owe the jurors a debt of gratitude for bring a halt to it-at least the state criminal trial. The case should never have been filed, the prosecution used under-handed tactics, and the judge should have tossed the case as soon as the state rested. She didn’t have the courage, so she passed it to the jurors.

The urban thug culture is what killed Trayvon Martin…Its what provoked the physical confrontation. The evidence that TM was a wannabe thug should have been presented with vigor equal to the prosecution’s assertion that GZ was a wannabe cop. TM though he could get away with punching out this “creepy ass cracker”. Racism was equally represented from both TM and GZ.

Danny “Goebbels” Greenfield is not paid to shed light or help us understand the world we inhabit any better. He’s as much of a manipulator as the left-wing race baiters he denounces. He’s a punk and a propagandist, not an explainer.

Though I agree ultimately with the verdict, what this entire case has told black America is: the loss of a young black life is not taken very seriously by law enforcement. Why wasn’t the shooter, Zimmerman, arrested immediately after the cops found the body of an unarmed person laying there, a person who had every right and reason to be in his own neighborhood? Imagine if Zimmerman was black and Martin was white. At least the initial police reaction would have been different, don’t you think?

Even if Zimmerman should not be found LEGALLY guilty (and I’m glad he was not), any fair person can look at the facts and find Zimmerman to be morally culpable of WRONGFULLY putting into action a series of events which led to the killing of a kid just trying to walk home. Again, if Zimmerman was black and Martin was white, would you not see this?

We can disagree with protestors. We should tell them this isn’t about “white racism.” But we can try to understand that any way you slice it, this was a bad deal for Trayvon and his family.

You are nowhere near as smart as you think you are – and you know nothing about criminal justice. Do you know not 3 weeks after Martin was shot that another shooting occurred in Orlando? This time a black 23 yr old man got out of his car while in a fast food drive through, got in an altercation with a passing by 29 yr old white man who was mentally compromised somehow and harassing him (allegedly), and shot him to death. The black shooter claimed the disturbed white man was threatening him with a metal rod or bar of some sort – but the cops didn’t find anything of the sort at the scene.

Do you know what happened? The press kept the black shooters name out of the media while the police investigated, and a few weeks later he was cleared of any wrongdoing – self-defense was the basis. You see, you loudmouth dingbat, there is a whole world out there that goes on every day you know nothing of. Do you know any cops? Do you know ho many black defendants get off every day in the system?

Zimmerman is no hero, nor is he an angel. But there is no evidence that he didn’t act in self-defense and all the evidence shows that Martin was beating him viciously when Zimmerman shot him, just as he stated. The truth is that if Martin hadn’t been beating Zimmerman, he wouldn’t be dead. When you start throwing fists, you never know what’s going to happen. This isn’t TV, and in the real world people can and do die in fistfights sometimes, and are seriously injured in fights all the time.

Do us a favor and take you BS and shove it.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Geoffrey-Britain/100003802091841 Geoffrey Britain

Just to set the record straight; Zimmerman wasn’t “arrested immediately after the cops found the body of an unarmed person laying there” because Zimmerman was the one with all the injuries, he’d called in to 911 just minutes before and there was an eyewitness who verified that Martin was the one on top beating Zimmerman.

Nor was Martin “in his own neighborhood” he was staying at his uncles place, a mile away, after his mother had kicked him out of the house for being out of control.

You haven’t looked at the facts, you’ve swallowed the racist lies the MSM puts out. Zimmerman was NOT “morally culpable of WRONGFULLY putting into action a series of events” because he did NONE of the things you’ve been told by the media.

What led to the killing of a 17 yr old ‘kid’ hanging around a neighborhood in which he knew no one, in the rain, were his own actions. He’s the one who attacked, sucker punched Zimmerman, got him down on the ground, repeatedly punching him in the face and slamming his head down on pavement. Nor did he show mercy when Zimmerman yelled for help, as the ONLY eyewitness testified.

    • braddocksgold

If Zimmerman was black and Martin white, the story would have been buried on page 12, one time, and not heard about again.

    • kahendu

It was a classic case of self-defense. The facts of the case made that so obvious that even Corey didn’t dare bring this case to a grand jury, because she knew there would be no indictment. Grand juries are tools of the state whereby the prosecutor can throw as much s*** at the accused as they want knowing full well there will be no rebuttal. That’s why he wasn’t arrested until the race-baiting players entered the game.

    • lyndaaquarius

just a point, Martin was not in his own neighborhood. He was visiting his Dad’s girlfriend who did live in the complex. I read that Martin lived in Miami. I didn’t follow the case at all so I could be wrong.

  • autdrew

Except the prosecution did not prove or even try to prove that gz was a racist or acting out of racial animus. Had they had this evidence, they surely would have presented it no? They couldn’t disprove gz story of the guy in the hoodie, acting strangely, like he was on drugs. He couldn’t even tell the race of TM at the time of the 911 call. He said he thought he might be black. The only racial part the prosecution proved came from TM himself, quoted by his girlfriend

  • Jsjk

Well, I think if someone is going to claim to be a “victim”, there needs to be objective, concrete, observable evidence to back up the claim. If the claim rests solely on the person’s belief “I’m a victim” (it’s all in his head) — that’s not good enough. Suppose a husband convinces himself that he is “the victim” of his nagging wife, so he beats her up; then, while getting hand-cuffed by the cops he whines, “hey, I’m the victim here!” No, he’s not “a victim”. His wife who suffers the injuries is the victim.

    • westward101

Nagging is a crime (should be), battery is. Big difference…

    • jon

You totally missed the point. This is not about the trial. This is about a much bigger Marxist agenda. This trial is a small propaganda window to incite Class War. The details of the trial are minutiae designed to camouflage the real clandestine objective. If you know nothing about Marxism you are in the great majority. Marxism is a science organized to fundamentally transform a social order from a small community to nation. What do you think he meant when he said “We are just 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America?” Did you think he meant improve the economy, jobs, security, media honesty, congressional integrity, White House honesty and openness and such benevolence? Marxism is rife with political double entendre. Learn about Marxism and you will have your eyes opened. Do not learn about Marxism and you will be politically blind.

      • Jsjk

Yes, I understand your concerns about the Marxist utopian He!! Hole Obama is so anxious to foist on America. (I live in Canada and have seen socialism first hand. I just found out that the Toronto Star newspaper still espouses socialist objectives — such as, to have the state owning natural resources and fighting for the proletariat workers. Such clap trap!)

  • LindaRivera

OJ walked FREE from court. Everyone knows he MURDERED his white
ex-wife and her white Jewish friend. No whites rioted. No whites made
    murder threats.

What are the Black Panthers (who are threatening murder), doing about blacks being mass murdered and hundreds of thousands of blacks being taken for slaves by Arab Muslims? Why are the Black Panthers not doing whatever they can for the severely persecuted black brothers?

It is important to know that during the time of Martin Luther King, Jr. MANY Jews fought with King for civil rights for blacks.

US/NATO waged war for months for Al Qaeda and other Muslim terrorists
in Libya. Gaddafi was fighting AGAINST Al Qaeda. The U.S. backed
Muslims perpetrated satanic atrocities and genocide on the blacks in
Libya. The U.S. didn’t lift a finger to help the terrified blacks.
    Blacks were safe under Gaddafi.

As a human rights activist I took part in a street demo in Harlem,
NYC, to protest the genocide. The black media and black speakers blamed
the Obama White House for the genocide of blacks in Libya.

For 1,400 years, slavery has been a part of Islam. This is a video of
wonderful Jewish Dr. Charles Jacobs who does everything he can to help
blacks and free the slaves. If any Black Panthers read this, I challenge
you to do everything you can and join in the fight to help free the
    slaves.

How sad… the commander-in-thief had to stick his nose – once again – where it does not belong. I hope Zimmerman fights to get his firearm and license to carry it concealed back. They put this innocent man through hell for the sake of their sick political agenda. Not once did they show the most recent Martin’s photograph on network TV, except for Fox News. Not an innocent, angelic 12-year-old, but a seasoned, tattooed “gangsta” type. A part of me gloats when I hear stories of the liberal types being mugged and raped in their gentrified havens, where they attempt to build “racial harmony”. Good luck. Most of us with common sense and real life experience know that there are only two ways to keep a society polite – either by convincing or through a Smith & Wesson, the great equalizer…

In 2010—Zimmerman Initiated A ‘Justice For Sherman Ware’ Campaign When NAACP Failed To Act

In a letter obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller on Monday, a family member of George Zimmerman ripped Seminole County, Fla. NAACP president Turner Clayton for a rush to judgment in the Trayvon Martin case.

The letter also described how Zimmerman was one of “very few” in Sanford, Fla., who spoke out publicly to condemn the “beating of the black homeless man Sherman Ware on December 4, 2010 by the son of a Sanford police officer.”

“Do you know the individual that stepped up when no one else in the black community would?” the family member wrote. “Do you know who spent tireless hours putting flyers on the cars of persons parked in the churches of the black community? Do you know who waited for the church‐goers to get out of church so that he could hand them fliers in an attempt to organize the black community against this horrible miscarriage of justice? Do you know who helped organize the City Hall meeting on January 8th, 2011 at Sanford City Hall??”

“That person was GEORGE ZIMMERMAN. Ironic isn’t it?”

“The left does not indict or convict individuals. It indicts and convicts
entire groups. Their show trials indict individuals for the crime of
being a member of a class and then convict the entire class based on the
    trials of those individuals.”

Stalin’s show trials in the 1930’s condemned Bolshevik revolutionaries, who were devoted communists, for being Trotskyites. All Trotskyites had to be condemned and executed for violating Stalin’s definition of communist goals. Black activists have defined a comparable class of enemies – “White Racists”. If the Black Panthers had their way all “White Racists” – i.e., all whites – would be executed.

Obama did not reconcile whites and blacks. He deliberately drove a wedge between them because it serves his agenda. Essentially, he wants all blacks to hate all whites, except those who campaign for him, finance his campaigns, and vote for him. They are the “useful idiots” that can be dealt with later once absolute power is achieved.

  • Ellman48

“This is the story that the left needs to constantly retell because it justifies their overreach of government power.”

If not for racism, pollution, discrimination, wildlife, forests, poverty, wars, injustice, etc., the progressive Left would have no reason for existing. It is therefore a matter of self-preservation for them to find grievances and and to give birth to complaints. Their survival depends upon the existence of imperfection. Hence, they must magnify and transform human imperfection into contemptible behavior and motivation. How much better would it be for the country if they devoted their energies into creating companies and jobs instead of victims and dependency?

  • MrUniteUs1

You know Zimmerman could be lying right.

    • JoJoJams

Considering all the evidence backs up his statements, while he “could be lying”, reality and evidence show he isn’t. At worse, he might be stretching the truth in some spots.

      • MrUniteUs1

Good some people just blindly believe the killer. We don’t want that to be a habit. Why was Trayvon’s body found so far from the concrete? What other hard object could have caused the head injuries? No concrete evidence that it was the concrete.

  • Miriam Brenner

THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF MALICE AFORETHOUGHT.
THERE WAS EVIDENCE THAT 6 FT

REPEATEDLY SMASHED HIS HEAD INTO THE CONCRETE
    SIDEWALK.

MARTIN WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD INTENT TO DO
    HARM TO THE LATTER.

  • Gamal

Black mobs attack whites quite often and it’s yesterday’s news but when a white defends himself against a black there are demonstrations all over the country.

  • insecticide

Let’s face it, I think anyone with an idiotic name like “Trayvon” is just asking to be shot!

  • EarlyBird

Here’s the way I see it: if I follow a bunch of tattooed gang member looking Latinos (and do so only because I’m armed with a gun) walking through their neighborhood in my city of Los Angeles, leave, and then re-encounter them and I intimate to them I believe they are criminals, and that starts an altercation that leads me to believe I may be seriously injured or killed so I then shoot them, it may be a case of self-defense. But I have some moral culpability in setting into motion that entire series of events.
There is a reason this is generally considered a tragedy, and that is because Martin was totally innocent, at least up until the altercation. One of the jurists today said she thought Zimmerman was at least guilty of “poor judgement.” Boy, I’d say so. And if Martin was my son, I’d be absolutely outraged. I think everybody has to try to at least understand that this is a tragedy and that Zimmerman WRONGFULLY – because Martin was not a would-be burglar – started everything for it to occur.

    • JoJoJams

Yeah, so, a “wanna be cop” met up with a “wanna be gang banger”. To be “fair” to the high-melanin content Americans, we need to point out the sickness in the culture of a very large percentage of them, especially in the inner cities. Only when they confront and correct their own slavery to nearly 80% out of wedlock births, and the culture of equating learning/schooling with “acting white” (producing an illiterate “star” witness for the prosecution that only helped the defense) can they even begin to start making things better in their own communities. Knowledge is the way out of their shackles – not hating whitey.

      • EarlyBird

You’re preaching to the choir here, JoJo. You took the words right out of my mouth. White racism is pretty low on the list of black Americans’ problems.

    • OfficialPro

Being as Zimmerman is Hispanic, and thus a “minority/person of color), he CANNOT engage in Racism, according to the Ethnic Studies Identity Politics rules.

      • EarlyBird

Unfortunately for Zimmerman, those same rules are that because his surname is of German origin, he’s “White.” He’d be Hispanic if his surname was Gomez.
But I’m glad it has made the news. He was a reckless ass and the law is arranged apparently in Florida to allow such recklessness.

By the way, have you become aware of the black woman in Florida whose abusive ex-husband had beaten her, and even kicked her while pregnant, against whom she had a restraining order because he regularly threatened her life? He broke into her home, trapped her in her small kitchen while threatening her life. She fired a “warning shot” into the kitchen wall, Florida gave her 20 years for that.

But Zimmerman walked free. I think I understand the mistrust of the legal system among black people.

  • mikeh420

Finally, we really are equal. Now it’s perfectly OK for a white man to kill a black man, just like it’s always been perfectly OK for a black man to kill a black man.

“All true in the specific. But then: Why?”

To prove that the USA is “imperialist” and our entire system is corrupt. Therefore it must be destroyed or “transformed” by our dear leader and his party of crypto-communists.

“Elites lerv chaos. It works for them.”

It seemed to me that the real purpose of this legal lynching of George Zimmerman was to warn the rest of us what will happen to us if we dare attempt to defend ourselves when attacked by a member of this protected class. Looks like our government has declared open season on all those who presumed to be white. Not only is it an indication that those who assault, rape, kill or rob us will be exempt from prosecution, any of us who dares fight back will be put through the system.

This case was definitely a “reverse lynching” attempt. Instead of KKK-ish white hicks stringing up a black man, it was New Black Panther-ish Administration attempting to string up a Hispanic they needed to paint as White, with their Marxist mob supporters supporting the ‘lynching’.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” I’m not sure who first said this…all I know is that it’s a true statement. I would also add that no one can make you feel guilty without your consent. I am not going to feel guilty about the outcome of this trial because of someone’s illogical perception of it being based on racism. Just because a thing is “said” does not make it “so”.

  • pupsncats

I agree with everything in the article except that the trial will serve for a higher voter turnout by blacks to vote for Democrats. The overwhelming majority of them already do.
