Governor Cuomo Makes High Capacity Magazines a Worse Offense Than Child Pornography

Andrew Cuomo: All Yelling, All the Time

What’s worse? Owning a high capacity magazine or child pornography.

According to Governor Andrew Cuomo, child pornography, stealing children, rape in the 3rd degree, criminally negligent homicide and choking someone are lesser offenses than owning a high capacity magazine.

If your child is lured under the reign of Cuomo the Second, then you better hope the molester also did something “seriously wrong” like owning a high capacity magazine.

Possession of – for an example – a standard capacity 13-round magazine for a 9mm SIG Sauer P229 or any magazines holding more than 11 rounds is and will be a Class D Violent Felony, even for owners who possessed large capacity magazines prior to Sept. 1994 when possession was grandfathered.)

Listed below the fold are a few crimes in New York that are class E felonies and A misdemeanors which are one or two arrest levels below a class D felony.

Luring a child

Criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation

Criminally negligent homicide

Rape 3rd degree

Criminal sexual act 3rd degree

Persistent sexual abuse

Substitution of children

Unlawful imprisonment 1st degree

Female genital mutilation

Possessing a sexual performance by a child

Cuomo is clearly jealous of Bloomberg’s reputation as the craziest nanny state fascist in the state and is eagerly trying to catch up to him by criminalizing ownership of a magazine more so than abusing a child.

Another reminder that gun control is just fascism misspelled.

The only thing worse than this ignorant animal is the voter that elects this garbage.

You people in "New York" can kiss my a**: I'll stay away from you, and you stay away from me.

If we could only cut "New York" out of the map and give it Casro, Chavez, or were he still around, Pol Pot.

I'm a conservative in New York City, and it's a liberal snake pit. Bloomberg just took away my 2-liter soda that goes with my pizza. Help me! This place is a toilet!

I treasure this concluding remark: "Another reminder that gun control is just fascism misspelled." And that Big Gulp soda drinks, salt, sugar, smoke, and hybrid taxi charging stations are also fascism misspelled. Did I forget anything? What else have Cuomo and Bloomberg bees in their bonnets about?

Where's the misspelling? Sounds to me like the authorities are not making any mistake; they're outright fascists and authoritarians.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's approval rating has taken a hit in the wake of the passage of what he calls the nation's toughest gun laws, according to a new Quinnipiac poll. Let's just hope this phony, Progressive, despot keeps going down the sewer. Oh yes, and take Bloomers with you!!!

It's time to expose the high capacity magazine argument for the cruel ignorance that it represents. Smaller capacity magazines do not prevent crazy people from shooting innocents. It just reduces their rate of fire by a slight degree (They have to reload a few more times). No responsible citizen should accept that reducing the body count is any kind of solution.

The folks of NY either submit to Il Duece or tell him where to stick it? Give liberals an inch on gun control, they will take a mile and ban them all.

I don't think anyone was ready for how far the Democrats would go on gun control so quickly. There's been no time to organize any resistance, and no plan for deciding what would constitute a red line. Ideally, Cuomo would now be under arrest by a citizen's committee and his office declared vacant while the State Constitution could be amended to protect the right to bear arms. But no one was prepared.

For the citizens of New York, court challenges are probably the next step. For the rest of us, it's time to start devising a plan of action for when the government finally goes too far and tries, for instance, to register all guns.

The whole gun control movement is a moral panic: They make gun ownership out to be a public threat that can only be cured by more onerous legislation, ostracization of a whole group of law-abiding people and stealing lawfully owned property.

Let me make it CIVIL & SIMPLE. You Gov. Cuomo owe me and all the other me's an apology. I believe in God. I love and served my country. I have a family. I've been working for pay for 54 years. I've never committed a crime. I drive for a living and my last traffic citation was in 1972. I have always paid my taxes state and federal. My newest gun has only been fired by the NYS Police and that was required for their records. I was cleared by all authorities to be licensed to carry. I am a voter who votes in all elections big and small, school and government. So according to your statement I am worse than who and based on that why in the name of public safety have you not had me arrested. Seriously, if your honest an apology doesn't really cut it does it Governor.

Home invasions by Cuomo's Gestapo will be next. How so, you ask? Easy. Every law abiding citizen in the state has to have a pistol permit to even own a handgun. That permit, issued by the County Sheriff where one resides, lists all handguns with their respective serial numbers owned by the licensee. Starting to connect the dots? If any one of your handguns has a magazine capacity greater than 10-rounds, you must dispose of it outside NY State, surrender it to LE, or permanently alter it to only accept 7-rounds, within one year. I assure you that Cuomo's Gestapo will be reviewing everyone's permit after one year to easily identify these non-compliant handguns still listed on one's permit. Can you say "probable cause for a search warrant, home invasion, confiscation and criminal charges" boys and girls?
