How Washington DC’s Illegal Alien Friendly Policies Promote Gang Violence and Child Rape

If Barack Obama really wants to see victimized children, he doesn’t have to travel to Connecticut. He doesn’t even have to leave Washington D.C.

While Obama and the Gang of 8 dream of Amnesty, their dreaming illegal alien street gangs are taking over parts of the nation’s capital and transforming them into another Caracas or Ciudad Juarez. America under Obama is becoming a banana republic in more ways than one.

For years violent street gangs, especially the MS-13 or Mara Salvatrucha, have operated lucrative prostitution enterprises in the District of Columbia area. Federal authorities have confirmed in recent years that most members of the notoriously violent MS-13 are illegal immigrants with active criminal records, most of them Mexican nationals, followed by Salvadorans and Hondurans.

But local sanctuary policies—such as those in place in D.C. and the area surrounding it—present the biggest obstacle to combating gang violence and the illicit businesses they operate. In fact, a 2008 study sanctioned by the Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed this, explaining that don’t-ask-don’t-tell immigration policies in sanctuary cities shield deportable violent criminals, especially gangbangers, from federal authorities.

This appears to be fueling the underage sex-trafficking business in the metro D.C. area. In recent years the feds have busted a number of rings, but there are countless others in a region where sanctuary policies force cops to operate with one hand tied behind their backs.

In 2011 at least five juvenile sex trafficking cases involving gangs were prosecuted by federal authorities in what is known as the metro D.C. area. Most involved the MS-13, but another area gang known as SUR-13 was also charged in one of the schemes. In every case runaway girls, as young as 12 years old, were recruited as prostitutes. “Gang members prey on vulnerable young runaway girls and drag them into the horrific world of juvenile prostitution,” said the area’s top federal prosecutor.

And Obama’s illegal alien amnesty, with or without the mask of fake enforcement, will only make things that much worse.

And I bet they're all registered to vote by ACORN-like organizations. No wonder they won't do anything about them.

    • Daniel Greenfield

They're probably doing the registering, like the Chicago gangs are.

it's all very incestuous and conflict-of-interest-y.

America has gone from a melting pot with Constitutional ideas and laws, protected freedoms and individual opportunities to a toxic poisonous stew in less than 30 years. The left have gotten very skilled at tricking and demonizing Conservatives and then hiding their collateral damage from the public with a complicit media.

Sad but true. In addition that our schools have students indoctrinated into Political Correctness, no wonder this kind of idiocy exist.

Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Would Hasten Insolvency

Amnesty for illegal aliens would result in three changes that would impact on the viability of the retirement system. An amnesty would:

    * Permit current illegal workers to have legal SSN accounts.
    * Permit current illegal workers to move funds assigned to the ESF to their new SSN account.
    * Permit legalized aliens to qualify for retirement benefits on the basis of past illegal work as well as future legal work.

The half of the aliens in the underground economy could become able to work legally, and amnesty proponents claim that the retirement system would benefit from new contributions from those workers. This rosy scenario ignores the fact that, for the most part, it is unrealistic to expect a significant percentage of the employers of current day laborers to suddenly decide to formally hire those workers. It is unlikely that companies that are hiding their employment of illegal alien workers by treating them as independent contractors would change their policy when it would mean greater costs incurred by the employer in paying the SSTF withholding tax.

The other argument of amnesty proponents is that newly legalized workers who used fake SSNs would have greater leverage with their employers in bargaining for promotions and raises. That could mean increased wages and, therefore, increased SSTF payments.

Both of those arguments are belied by a study of aliens who received amnesty in 1986. In general, the amnesty recipients did not benefit from the amnesty in increased earning power relative to other workers.

The main fallacy with these assertions is that they depend on a serious effort to enforce laws against the employment of illegal aliens after an amnesty. Given past history, and the Obama administration's stated policy of not enforcing immigration laws except against non-violent illegal aliens, there is little reason to believe that employers who cut costs by hiring illegal workers will pay increased wages, or offer benefits, to newly legalized workers – especially if new illegal workers arrive in search of jobs. At the same time, an employer who was duped by fake documents is not likely to give a benefit to an amnestied employee, and may resent the duplicity enough to fire the worker.

The DOJ, under Eric Holder, the Lawbreaker-in-Chief, is working feverishly to ensure that illegals continue to break the law. In fact, even those who are affiliated with gangs are given cover by his radical underlings.

The POTUS has decided that illegal aliens will eventually shore up the Dem's hold on power, therefore, rape or not, they are going to stay –
