“I Am Muslim First” Fort Hood Terrorist Claims He Acted to Protect Islamic Law from Democracy

Finally more material is coming out about Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood terrorist and it tells the same old story. Hasan was one of those semi-secular Muslims, not really paying much attention to his religion, and then he turned to Islam and turned to terrorism. And boom.

The account is straightforward

1. Nidal Hasan became more Islamic

2. He began to hate America

3. He decided that he had to defend Islamic Sharia Law from American democracy. This explains his rant about the Constitution being Shirk.

The interesting question is what put him on that specific path. Did he turn to a mosque for answers… and get them?

Hasan, the sole suspect in the massacre of 13 fellow US soldiers in Texas, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt. His mother’s funeral was held there in May that year.

The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations.

Hasan’s eyes “lit up” when he mentioned his deep respect for al-Awlaki’s teachings, according to a fellow Muslim officer at the Fort Hood base in Texas, the scene of Thursday’s horrific shooting spree.

The account pegs his interest in Islam to his mother’s death. So it would appear that the Dar al-Hijrah mosque turned him into a ticking time bomb.

Aside from Anwar Al-Awlaki, here’s the sort of enlightened non-violent worldview you could get at the Dar al-Hijrah mosque.

Sheik Shaker Elsayed, the imam of the Dar al-Hijrah Mosque in Falls Church, Va., advocated armed jihad.

“We are the first to rush and run to defend our community and defend ourselves. The enemies of Allah are lining up; the question for us is, ‘Are we lining, or are we afraid because, because they may call us terrorists.'”

Being called “terrorists” should not matter to Muslims because Muslims are being called terrorists anyway, Elsayed said.

“You are a terrorist because you are a Muslim,” Elsayed said. “Well give them a run for their money. Make it worth it. Make this title worth it, and be good a Muslim.”

His name also appears in a 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document detailing the group’s plan to wage a non-violent civilization jihad to destroy “Western civilization from within.”

It’s not hard to see what made Nidal Hasan turn terrorist. And he wasn’t alone. Terrorism researcher Patrick Poole calls it a terrorist factory.

After Dar al-Hijrah attendee Ahmed Omar Abu Ali was arrested in Saudi Arabia and confessed to being part of an al-Qaeda cell that was planning to assassinate President George W. Bush, in an interview with the New York Times Abdul-Malik compared Abu Ali to civil rights icon Rosa Parks.

But Abu Ali was hardly a marginal figure at Dar al-Hijrah. He not only was a youth leader at the mosque and regularly delivered prayers there, he taught Islamic studies at the center and was a camp counselor for their youth summer day camp.

hasan has proclaimed himself a terrorist who killed in the name of Allah. The jurors already know he’s a terrorist. Yet this disgraceful, shameful government still refuses to label his act terrorism, supposedly because doing so will jeopardize his right to a fair trial….As a result, survivors and surviving family members of the fallen go without purple heart status and all the medical and financial benefits that go along with it.
This disgusting government only cares that to acknowledge hasan is a terrorist makes THEM responsible for these deaths and injuries. They turned a political blind eye to this monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In FDR’s day, this miserable thug would have been given a quick trial and hanged. End of story.

Obama hardest hit……Hassans rants make it impossible to deny Islams involvement in the mass murder….

Hasan said “I am a Muslim first.” yes he is a Muslim and he was a Muslim who was engaging in the extreme violence and murderous evil of militant jihadism when he commit those cruel and brutal murders by his shooting at Fort Hood. His religion inspired and drove him to commit all those malicious acts of mass murder. Just to give only on of the many example of the violence and killing instructions that are found in the Quran is in Suran 47:4. Which teaches “Whenever you encounter the unbelivers strike off their heads until you make a great aslaughter among them…” A firearm can make a greater “slaughter aong them” then a sword can.
Inshort, Hasan in guilty of murder. Likewise his religion,Islam, which inspired and drove to commit all those evil acts is also guilty of murder

If that bum is a” Muslim first”, he’s a POS second.

Terrorism is not the issue in this trial. Nidal Hasan is a member of the US military. He is either insane or, by his own admission, was waging war against the United States. This is a schoolbook example of treason as defined in Article III, Section 3 of the US Constitution.

the traitors are in positions of power in our government, and betrayed their country by allowing hasan into our country, and into our army. the real traitors will go unpunished.

Put hasan in a burka and plant him in Gitmo and tell the orange jumpsuiters that the burqaed one drew a cartoon of muhammed and needs to pay for dishonoring “her” family.

Sorry to rain on this writer’s parade, but Hasan isn’t a terrorist. Instead, he’s a jihadist, as jihad, in stark contrast to terrorism, is holy fighting in the cause of Allah for the establishment of Islam and is only waged by Muslims, while terrorism, on the other hand, is perpetrated for any number of political causes and is a product of all societies and cultures.

Furthermore, in stark contrast to terrorism, jihad is both violent and non-violent, but astronomically far more non-violent relative to violent. Meanwhile, terrorism, on the other hand, is always and only violent. However, because jihad is always conflated as being terrorism, which again is always and only violent, the many non-violent varieties of jihad, which again is astronomically far more prevalent, manifests today throughout the West totally unopposed. Not to mention also that the non-violent variety of jihad is astronomically far more detrimental to our security relative to the violent varieties that we have become totally obsessed with because we conflate what is really jihad as being terrorism.

lets be realistic. major hasan is not guilty of murder. he is an enemy soldier, fighting a war against America, our society, our population, and our freedom. if he had been wearing an Iraqi army uniform in gulf war one, or two, and had succeeded in killing a few dozen americans, we would not accuse him of murder. what he did was put on the enemy’s uniform, and fight wearing the enemy’s (that’s us) uniform. this is against the rules of war, and the traditional (back when we were a real country) penalty for fighting in the enemy’s uniform (or in civvies) is summary execution. major hasan should already have been tied to a post and shot, and no trial or discussion was necessary, or appropriate. but we are NOT at war with islam, so the circus must go on.
