If There’s Even One Life That Can Be Saved…

There are few things as cynical as attacking the Bill of Rights while using children as human shields. Obama’s repulsive exploitation of children and the families of the victims of Newtown has wrapped up, along with the expected assault on civil rights being perpetrated in their name.

“If there’s even one life that can be saved, then we’ve got an obligation to try,” Obama said.

Let’s take him at his word.

– While Obama has been working up to an attack on the Second Amendment, his administration gutted post 9/11 restrictions on Saudis traveling to the United States. If there’s even one life that can be saved, those restrictions should be restored.

– Profiling Middle Eastern men in airports. Obama is officially against it, but if it can save even one life, then Obama is obligated to try. It might violate their civil rights, but so do his proposed attacks on the 2nd Amendment.

– Ending illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants have much higher rates of criminal offenses. If even one life can be saved, the border must be secured and illegal aliens must be deported.

– Criminalizing gang membership. The RICO Act being applied to gangs has gone part of the way, but not all the way. And the majority of firearms deaths in the United States are gang related. Sure it might be unconstitutional, but that clearly doesn’t bother O, and a lot of lives can be saved that way. Hundreds if not thousands.

But while Obama seems eager to violate the civil rights of legal gun owners on the off chance that one life might be saved, he isn’t willing to do it to protect Americans from terrorism or gang violence.

The argument that taking away our constitutional rights is OK if "even one life is saved" is part and parcel of the kind of argument that says deprivation of our right is "for the children."

    What nonsense.

“If there’s even one life that can be saved, then we’ve got an obligation to try,” Obama said.

In the fantasy world of Left/Liberalism, in which the vacuity of preventive, positivist law reigns and is unquestioned and is adopted as policy, countless lives will have been "saved" with gun bans, smoking bans, big soft drink bans, msg-bans, transfat bans, medical insuranceless bans (Obamacare), lead gas bans, "dirty" energy bans, pollution bans, greenhouse gas bans, Islamophobic speech bans, hate speech bans, and so on. But how, then, is it proven that even one life has been "saved"? Will the Left/Liberals be able to trot out the single life that has been saved? Will that child or individual become the poster child of tyranny? Then move on to the "countless" lives saved. Where are the graphs, the charts, the statistics? Oh, they can be produced, but they will be as fictive and lying and false as, say, the numbers produced by the wizards of University of East Anglia to "prove" anthropological global warming.

If criminalizing abortion will save even one precious young life, we have an obligation to try to ban it.

Obama also gives a pass to drug users.

Allowed 2,000 machine guns to go to the Mexican drug cartel
Refusing to enforce drug laws on marijuana, which lead to arrest of violent criminals.
Protects the welfare state at all costs even though it fuels drug addiction.

A common theme that runs through President Obama's statements is the idea the United States must atone for its past policies, whether it is America's application of the war against Islamist terrorism or its overall foreign policy. At the core of this message is the concept that the U.S. is a flawed nation that must seek redemption by apologizing for its past "sins." On several occasions,

President Obama has sought to apologize for the actions of his own country when addressing a foreign audience–including seven of the 10 apologies listed below. The President has already apologized for his country to nearly 3 billion people across Europe, the Muslim world, and the Americas.

The Obama Administration's strategy of unconditional engagement with America's enemies combined with a relentless penchant for apology-making is a dangerous recipe for failure. The overall effect of this approach has been to weaken American power on the world stage rather than strengthen it. President Obama's personal approval ratings across much of the world may be sky high, but that has not translated into greater support for U.S.-led initiatives, such as the NATO mission in Afghanistan, which is heavily dependent on American and British troops.

The U.S. is increasingly viewed as a soft touch internationally, which has encouraged rogue regimes such as North Korea and Iran to accelerate their nuclear and missile programs. As President Obama embarks this week on his second major overseas tour, which will take him to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany, and France, the world does not need yet another apology from the President. Rather, it is looking for strong and principled leadership from the most powerful nation on the face of the earth. American leadership is not a popularity contest, nor should it be an exercise in self-loathing. Rather, it is about taking tough positions that will be met with hostility in many parts of the globe. Above all, it demands the assertive projection of American power, both to secure the homeland and to protect America's allies. The following is a list of the 10 most significant apologies by the President of the United States in his first four months of office as they relate to foreign policy and national security issues.

    1. Apology to France and Europe ("America Has Shown Arrogance")

    2. Apology to the Muslim World ("We Have Not Been Perfect")

    3. Apology to the Summit of the Americas ("At Times We Sought to Dictate Our Terms")
    4. Apology at the G-20 Summit of World Leaders ("Some Restoration of America's Standing in the World")

    5. Apology for the War on Terror ("We Went off Course")

    6. Apology for Guantanamo in France ("Sacrificing Your Values")

    7. Apology before the Turkish Parliament ("Our Own Darker Periods in Our History")

    8. Apology for U.S. Policy toward the Americas ("The United States Has Not Pursued and Sustained Engagement with Our Neighbors")

    9. Apology for the Mistakes of the CIA ("Potentially We've Made Some Mistakes")

    10. Apology for Guantanamo in Washington ("A Rallying Cry for Our Enemies")

Barack Hussein Obama II is viewed internationally as a light weight, weakling.

More that 50 million lives have been lost since the passing of 'Roe v Wade.' Obama supports the laws protecting abortion.
May we conclude from the evidence of Obama's highly directional saving of one life, that his real concern is his agenda?

“The state must declare the child to be
the most precious treasure of the people.
As long as the government is perceived as
working for the benefit of the children,
the people will happily endure almost any
curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”
    Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler

Feinstein, Schumer, Obama, Holder, Bloomberg, Cuomo, and their whole gang are tyrant wannabes. To them, anyone who does, or might, oppose their control over every aspect of our lives, is “a criminal” because they said so.

To quote a few of their heroes, with explanatory comments in ( ):

“Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” – Mao
(They revere Mao and the way he ruthlessly grabbed power in China. The fact that he murdered about 100 million Chinese to do it is, to them, a “feature,” not a “bug.”)

“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves. … The only real power comes out of a long rifle. … Everyone imposes his own system as far as his army can reach. … We don’t let them have ideas. Why would we let them have guns? … The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic.” — Joseph Stalin

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed the subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty.” — Adolf Hitler
(These psychopathic sociopaths in our government – and THEY ARE PRECISELY THAT, never make the mistake of doubting it – believe that they are anointed to be our rulers and that we are the equivalent of Hitler’s “subject races.”)

THOSE are the reasons why, and the sort of people who want to, disarm us.

These same people through DHS and other alphabet agencies have recently purchased over 1.8 BILLION rounds of hollow point ammo – enough to shoot every man, woman, and child in the country 5 times or more – ammo that’s illegal for military use under international law. Considering that you and I and all of the other US taxpayers are paying for all of this ammo, it’s frighteningly reminiscent of the story of political prisoners’ families being forced to pay for the bullets used to execute them … isn’t it?

If we allow these leftist control freaks to ignore and ultimately gut the 2nd Amendment, history will inevitably repeat itself. These “gun control” proposals have NOTHING to do with preventing crime, but EVERYTHING to do with CONTROL.

Hitler disarmed the Jews and others, then murdered about 15 million.
Stalin disarmed the Russians, them murdered about 40 million.
Mao disarmed the Chinese peasants, then murdered nearly 100 million.
The Turks disarmed the Armenians, then murdered 1.5-2 million.
Pol Pot disarmed the Cambodians and murdered millions.
Rwanda disarmed its ethnic groups, then murdered millions.
The list goes on … about 262 MILLION people murdered BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENTS in the 20th century – AFTER they allowed those governments disarmed them. See: http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/20TH.HTM
They ALL thought “It can’t happen here” – until they were disarmed and it started, then it was too late. Don’t make the same mistake. Don’t EVER let your government disarm you.

The Founders knew that government, if not constrained at every step, will continue to accumulate power and control until it becomes tyranny. That’s why they feared standing armies and insisted that the “right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

“Never forget, even for an instant, that the one and only reason anybody has for taking your gun away is to make you weaker than he is, so he can do something to you that you wouldn’t let him do if you were equipped to prevent it. This goes for burglars, muggers, and rapists, and even more so for policemen, bureaucrats, and politicians.” – Aaron Zelmanm
