Jeb Bush has a point. But to address the point, you have to encourage the immigration of high-skilled workers from traditional societies that can conform to Western values -- Orthodox Jews, traditional Catholics, and such.

Otherwise, we're screwed either way. America and Europe are being punished because of the low birth-rates. We thought we could live care-free lives by treating children as optional accessories of our selfish lifestyles. But no. We will spend our old age cowering in fear of criminal terrorists and on the brink of poverty, waiting to be euthanized by socialized medicine.

Because career Democrats destroy any attempt at sensible reform, and the year round professional big government slimebags have run unchalleneged the past two presidential elections.

The political machine gets to graft it's billions and the delusional welfare voters get to keep napping.

There are some hard realities to face here. The so called "social contract", and "retiring with dignity and purpose" are fairy tale ideas of past generations, as is leaving substantial wealth to ones progeny.

The undeniable solution to the problem is a difficult prospect for most middle class, middle-aged wage earners to accept. About the time they retire from their careers, it will be time for them to take on the responsibility of hands-on care of their aging loved ones, unless those elders have accumulated the resources to pay for warehouse type elder-care which will become unimaginably expensive. Few meet this criteria, which means most can expect to be spending 'retirement years' living with and personally caring for aging extended family.

Social security was never meant to offer dignity to the aged. Born in the Depression era, it was meant to prevent poor widows from starving, when their families and communities couldn't afford to give them enough to survive on. How did this compassionate idea get perverted into the utopian dream that Jeb Bush presumes upon us?

What is this idea that everyone who manages to survive past the magical age of 65, gets a free ride until they die? And where did the idea that their families are exempt from responsibility originate?

Europe, Canada, and the U.S. represent about 14% of the worlds population
but produce about 55% of the worlds GDP. How can such a small percentage
of the worlds population produce so much? Europe and the U.S. have developed
all of the technology in the world from electricity to communications satellites.
Europe, Canada, and the U.S. is where 60% of the global fortune 500 companies
are located. Wealth is not created by how many people you have to feed.
Companies like the fortune 500 produce wealth.

Jebby Bush is absolutely OBSESSED with immigration, especially Latino immigration. He really had a mental obsession with this topic.
He's also completely off the mark. As said earlier, the USA is not declining because of lack of population. Furthermore, the pro immigraiton people need to be asked, "why do you want to balloon the US's population to halfl a billion in the next 40-some years? Why?" That's where we're headed at our current rate of immigration. Half a billion.

That's all right, people. Jeb Bush is an expert on the subject of immigration. His brother, George W., speaks Spanish, too, gets along with Mexicans, and that makes Jeb an authority on the subject. Jeb is governor of a state with a big population of Cubans. They're "Latinos," too, but with a difference. Most of them work for a living and had to earn their citizenship and voting rights the hard way.

Yes, and regarding prosperity, where is Americans for Prosperity and other libertarian, "small guvmint" organizations like Freedomworks and the boyos of Reason on this subject?

Toadying with Jeb, telling the Tea Party to shut up and sit down, and refusing to "declare" their position on amnesty.

Go figure. Or, rather, add it up.
