London Beheader’s Imam: “When You Meet [Westerners], Slice their Own Necks.”

london beheader at muslim rally

Scholars of Islam like Prime Minister David Cameron and London Mayor Boris Johnson insisted that the gruesome murder of a British soldier by two Muslims shouting “Allah Akbar” and quoting the Koran had nothing to do with Islam.

However Imam Omar Bakri Muhammad, who influenced Mujaheed Adebowale, the London beheader, disagrees saying, “Under Islam this can be justified”, “I saw the film and we could see that he [the suspect] was being very courageous” and “To people around here [in the Middle East] he is a hero for what he has done.”

Nothing is more courageous and heroic than two men running down one man in a car and then cutting him up while screaming praises to Allah.

What are Imam Omar Bakri Muhammad’s qualifications as an Islamic scholar? Aside from being a former member of that notoriously moderate Islamist organization; the Muslim Brotherhood?

From the age of five he was enrolled in the al-Kutaab Islamic boarding schools (a primary school teaching children how to recite and keep Quran by heart) where he studied the Qur’anic Sciences, Hadith (the sayings of the Prophet of Islam and his Companions), Fiqh (Islamic Religious Philosophy), and Seerah.

Later, Bakri joined the Shari’ah Institute at Damascus University where he then studied Fiqh and Shari’ah. When he completed his studies, obtaining a BA in Shari’ah and Usul al-Fiqh. Bakri obtained his MA in Fiqh ul-Madhaahib from the Imaam Uzaie University, Lebanon.

He studied at Al-Azhar University for six months and then moved to Saudi Arabia, where he joined the Madrassah Al-Saltiyyah studying and completing a Diploma in Jami’ Al-Qur’an. At this time he also completed a thesis entitled, ‘Nizaam al-Khilafahfil Islaam’.

Offhand, I would say Bakri’s qualifications as a scholar of Islam top those of Boris Johnson and David Cameron. And he has some scholastic views on killing infidels derived from one of those many degrees in how to kill infidels the Islamic way.

A radical Islamist cleric banned from Britain has been secretly recorded in a series of rants in which he calls on Muslims to behead their enemies and kidnap Westerners.

Investigators have discovered that Bakri encouraged a kidnapping terrorist act just months before he was banned from the UK last year. On another occasion, he specifically mentioned capturing a British Muslim serving in the Army.

Bakri, who has frequently suggested that “the enemy” are Westerners, particularly Americans and the British, says: “When you meet the enemy, slice their own necks. And when you make the blood spill all over, and the enemy becomes so tired, now start to take from them prisoners. Then free them or exchange them until the war is finished.

“Verily they remind the sunnah (actions/sayings of the prophet Mohammed) of removing the head of the enemy. They remind the sunnah of slaughtering the enemy. They remind the sunnah of how to strike the neck of the enemy. We saw him in his brother’s house. They removed the head of the enemy\u2026 Use the sword and remove the head of the enemy.”

In a separate rallying call over the internet last summer, Bakri encouraged terrorists to kidnap a soldier serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. “I hope they capture British Muslims who are in the Army over there,” he said.

Nine men were arrested on Wednesday as part of an alleged plot to kidnap a Muslim soldier, who was believed to have served in Afghanistan but who was back on home leave. The police think terrorists intended to torture and kill their victim before broadcasting their actions on the internet.

Which is nothing at all like what just happened in London. And what are Imam Omar Bakri Muhammad’s thoughts on the human life of non-Muslim civilians?

“We don’t make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents. Only between Muslims and unbelievers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value. It has no sanctity.”

Nothing to do with Islam. Not a bloody thing.

Another of Omar Bakri's qualifications is that he lived on welfare in Britain for years, raising children at taxpayers' expense – Jizya from the kuffar.

In case readers may be crediting Omar Bakri with anything resembling original creative thought his instructions come, of course, from the Koran.

EVERY authentic Islamist knows that Sharia Law supports the slitting of throats, beheading and every other manner of infidel killing. This is the truth and no amount of obfuscation will change said facts. And it is due to this knowledge base (for at least those who are up to speed on Islamic Law as well as its cultural dynamics) that it is more than enraging, infuriating and downright mendacious when western leaders and their back benchers opine, Islam is a religion of peace. Well, if beheading etc is considered peaceable, then they are correct.

In any case, imbibe these truths, instead of the lies spun from western appeasing dhimmis –

And think about this: had someone in the vicinity been armed (hint: gun control is all the rage in England etc) then this Islamic jihadist would have been shot dead. Alas, it took 20 ! minutes for the useless police to show up.

    Adina Kutnicki, Israel

    • James

You're an idiot. You think the armed police sit there all geared up with weapons ready waiting for a chance to use them? They aren't. 14 minutes is a damn good response time. You should be thankful that the UK has gun control and not every Tom, Dick and Harry can run around with a gun. This is a rare occurrence and the police responded appropriately.

The Koran forms part of Sharia Law.
The Koran is “true from eternity to eternity” (Sam Solomon, former professor of Sharia law).
Denying any verse in it brings the death penalty (Manual of Islamic Law o8.7(7)).
“It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair.” (Koran 33:36)
“None may change his words” (Koran 18:27).

Readers unacquainted with matters Islamic will find it helpful to know that the Realm of Islam, Dar al Islam, defines the West as Dar al Harb, “The Realm of War”. Islam is in a permanent state of war with the West, which will only end when all the world is Muslim – “Fight the unbelievers and kill them until Islam is the only governance” (Koran 8:39). The non-muslims, the “kuffar”, are “unclean” (9:28), the “vilest of beasts” (8:22). Allah is the enemy of the kuffar (2:98) so muslims must be, too. Hence Bakri refers to “the enemy” (who were, in fact, the people paying his bills).

Sorry about that. I just think Daniel's description of the reaction of David Cameron and Boris Johnson is hilarious. Not that the entire affair is not macabre and bizarre and deplorable in the most profound possible way, but the fact that the Prime Minister of Great Britain and the Mayor of London can, with a straight face, seriously represent to the world that the beheading of the British soldier on the streets of London by a knife and meat cleaver wielding Muslim telling everyone that he did it to avenge the death of Muslims had "nothing to do with Islam" strikes me as surreal and ironic in the most extreme possible way. How else can you talk about it except in terms of the blackest possible comedy? It's one of those situations that makes you either laugh or cry, and crying won't do any good, so why not tell it like it is? It's nuts. Absolutely nuts.

it of jihadists which we see almost daily on the news in bloody color. Obama wants to disarm us

To Mary Sue and Objectivefactsmatter , you ASSSUME that because I think Benghazi Gate is a croc , a political circus orchestrated by the right , and I don't join in with your Obama hatefest , that I am on the Left and against Israel and for muslims .
This is because you cannot see through your narrow political lens .I had engaged the argument for Israel and- against the arabs and muslims who would destroy her since 1966 .Simply because I do not buy into hairbrain teebagger conspiracy theories and accusations , does not in any way have anything to do with my position on Israel or Muslims and the threat they pose to the entire planet

    • Texas Patriot

There is a reason for regarding the massacre of our diplomats as BenghaziGate, but it has almost nothing to do with any "coverup". Rather it has to do with the almost total failure of both political parties to recognize that the so-called Arab Spring was in fact an fundamentalist Islamist revolution in which the secular dictators of the middle east, one by one, are being replaced by Islamist jihadist regimes, with some rather nasty although totally foreseeable consequences to American interests throughout the region, including of course Benghazi. But of course, since most Republicans can't see what is happening any more clearly than the Democrats, they have to couch their totally impotent and misplaced rage on the Obama/Hilary failure to give an accurate account of what happened. Unfortunately, the irrational and hellbent determination of a majority of Republicans in Congress to provide weapons to the Al Qaida-backed rebels trying to bring down Assad in Syria tells us all we need to know about the "ability" of Republicans to recognize the problem and deal with the emerging Islamist jihadist threat in a competent and proactive way. In a nutshell, it doesn't exist.

      • vivienne

Since learning the President of the US is Muslim, this has changed my views of him significantly, how the hell did this happen? Vote him out next Presidential election, what the US needs is a man as cool and as tough as Kissinger. Whether you hate or love him he got things done, and would take a very different view on Islam, I'd go as far as to say the whole situation would be under control by now.

        • Jormantha

He got his second term. He can't run again.

        • Texas Patriot

Obama is not a Muslim, and he's actually not any worse than any president before him for the last fifty years. Unfortunately, that's not saying very much. But I would agree with you that Kissinger got things done. He got Nixon elected in 1968 on false pretenses, and he helped keep us in Vietnam for six long and unnecessary years, which resulted in the unnecessary deaths of 21,000 plus Americans and who knows how many wounded, and set the stage for the toxic political environment that is destroying American freedom and democracy today. Quite a guy.

  • javier vega

ISLAM IS KORAN,,,KORAN IS ISLAM ,,DO NOT FOOL YOURSELF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jormantha

Sooooo… Let me get this straight… We in the West, who mistakenly WELCOMED Muslims into our countries, are now infidels who drove them from their land?

  • slider 96

It's got nothing to do with anyone driving anyone from their land . In Islam the mere fact of being non-muslim makes you an infidel and kuffar , who eventually must convert or be killed .

  • slider 96

Texas Patriot , the only difference between Arab spring , before and after is , that now the Governments themselves are doing what their populations have done in the past for decades , Except NOW the leaders can not claim that the violence is caused by factions apart from, or not under the control of those Governments .
As for Benghazi ? A tragic underestimation of the security risks most likely compounded by the involvement of the CIA . If the jihadi factions in Libya KNEW that the US installation in Benghazi was ran by the CIA ,and any diplomatic staff would be in extraordinary danger ? Then THEREIN lies the fault of the State Department , and ALL the BLATHER used by Republicans and Conservatives over what the incident was described as either a "terrorist Act " or an " act of terrorism " is just a shamefull politicization of the event .

    • Texas Patriot

Unfortunately, shamefully politicizing every major issue is all our government is really good for at this point. My question, though, is this. Based on the obvious Islamist jihadist nature of the Arab Spring revolution(s), should Obama have anticipated that Islamist jihadist attacks would be carried out against our embassies in the region, including Benghazi. And if that risk wasn't clear before, could anyone deny that it is perfectly "clear and present" now?

  • slider 96

Texas Patriot , in the absolutely poisonous political atmosphere in US politics , you have contentiousness as has never before been seen . Before Obama acted in Libya , he was criticized for NOT acting , and when he DID act , was thus criticized for that . As for the "predictability " of a Benghazi type event , you'd need a soothsayer as the situations as they presented themselves were highly fluid . Syria is no different and seems to be playing out with the same unpredictability of players or conclusions . If the US is going to get involved in anything other than sanctions , there will be the same dangers .Look what happened during the Reagan Admin . The US Embassy Bombing in Beirut /265 US Marines killed , and again the CIA was right in the middle of it . The CIA itself victimized , losing 7 agents [ the story in Zero Dark Thirty was a true event . ] The US could not have prevented events in Egypt , Tunisia or Syria . And the final results of our actions in Libya are yet to be seen in its final result . Can we count Iraq as an Ally ? Or even the Saudis ?

    • Texas Patriot

From my point of view, those who choose to attack Obama or to defend him at this point in time should take great care to leave political arguments and implications out of it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that anyone is really capable of doing that, and that is the heart of the problem.

No American president in the last forty years since the Munich Olympics of 1972 has been able to fully appreciate or respond appropriately to the threat posed by radical Islam, and that includes Obama. By the same token, no American president has had more information from which to form an intelligent assessment of the situation. With each new attack and with each new sermon from radical Muslim clerics, we gain more information and insight into the nature of the threat that is now facing the entire world, and at this point, I think it is fair to say that the preeminent leaders of the Free World are without excuse if they are still unable to recognize it for what it is. And that includes Obama of the United States, Cameron of Great Britain, Merkel of Germany, Hollande of France, and I think it even includes Putin of Russia and Xi Jinping of China.

At this point in time, no one on earth is immune from attack by Islamic jihadis, and as the President and Commander in Chief of the preeminent symbol of freedom and democracy in the world, Obama of all leaders should be acutely aware of the grave crisis we face. Whether he is up to the task remains to be seen. As Obama rightly pointed out in his speech the other day, we are entering a new phase in our efforts to respond appropriately to the forces of Islamic jihad, and what we do from this point forward needs to take into account the full nature and scope of the threat, as well as the evolving nature of the threat.

Whether Obama and his administration capable of making the necessary "pivot" to do that remains to be seen. If he is unable to shed his personal naiveté and restructure his response accordingly, he should probably resign or be impeached. As Obama himself said in his 2008 campaign. "We've seen where being tough and stupid have gotten us. It's time to be tough and smart." I agree with that.

Where is the outrage and demand these criminals be stopped from the British people? Why are we not hearing anyone but from Cameron who apparently wants to tuck his tail between his legs and hide in the corner? Come on people can you not see the evil that is brewing around the world? We are all in this together and must join to stop this in it's tracks before it's too late.

  • Anonymous

Islam is a violent and murderous ideology. We are letting them take over the world. By the time we realize how dangerous these people are it will betoo late.

  • slider 96

Regrettably what the Brits , or Swedes or Norwegians do , will be to their own peril , however here in the USA , we have the right to own and carry guns …LOTS OF GUNS . Muslims KNOW that . If they pull their tricks here they will be shot dead . Period . There are well over 100 million guns in the hands of the people . I do not feel threatened . I have Florida CCW and there are 34 States which are reciprocal with one another and honor my permit . In the States that are not most allow me to pas through with gun and ammo separated with ammo in a locked box . I as well as most responsible gun owners are for Universal Background checks but nothing beyond that . Fully automatic rifles should be restricted for obvious reasons .
To muslims who would attempt behavior as is witnessed in Europe , I simply say "make my day " .

    • Texas Patriot

I agree. Arming the citizens of America and the Free World will be an important factor in responding appropriately to the threat of Islamic jihad worldwide. It's not a government we face. Rather it's millions upon millions of radicalized individuals. The bottom line is that we must be prepared to respond in a radical way ourselves.
