Man Tries to Draw Attention to Global Warming by Going to Antarctica, Suffers Frostbite

The icebergs… they aren’t melting fast enough.
Ranulph Fiennes, the explorer, not to be confused with the actor, had hoped to cross Antarctica during the winter making the coldest journey on earth.
Fiennes claimed that this would “make a significant contribution to our understanding of the true effects of global warming on the Antarctic continent”.
Apparently global warming hadn’t quite gotten there yet, because the trip has imploded due to frostbite on four of the fingers on his left hand, when he removed a glove to fix some ski equipment.
Attempts to evacuate Fiennes from the warmed polar region, where there are reportedly tropical forests rising out of the icebergs and everyone wears bathing suits, have been hampered by… of all things … a blizzard.
Finally a break in the snow storm, perhaps caused by global warming, allowed Fiennes to be evacuated back to South Africa, where it’s easier to try and sell people on global warming.
