Member of Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns Arrested for Being Worst Mayor Ever

And I don’t exaggerate. This guy makes Rob Ford look a sensible citizen.

The mayor of Monticello was out on bail Sunday night after being arrested again — this time charged with driving while intoxicated.

Jenkins was taken into custody after showing up to take a look at a serious car accident on Main Street on Saturday night. A volunteer firefighter noticed the mayor looked drunk, according to police, and notified law enforcement. Jenkins was arrested on the spot.

The mayor was charged with DWI, refusing a Breathalyzer, obstruction of justice and criminal mischief for allegedly breaking a clock inside the police station. Jenkins spent Saturday night handcuffed to a chair in the police headquarters before being released on $2,500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

Let’s take a look back at Mayor Jenkins’ recent storied career.

Jenkins pleaded guilty three years ago for selling knock-off sneakers at his local store. He was arrested again last year for allegedly hitting a police officer.

Jenkins also raised eyebrows earlier this year when he appointed his longtime girlfriend to the village Board of Trustees.

Let’s hear more.

In the spring of 2011, Jenkins and his girlfriend, Rochelle Massey, pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor charges of selling knockoff Nikes and bogus DVDs from his Broadway store. They each paid $2,500 in fines and restitution.

In July 2012, Jenkins was charged with hitting a man and accidentally striking a police officer during a fight outside his store.

A year later, the mayor appointed Massey, his girlfriend, as a Monticello village trustee to fill a vacant seat. That seat was vacated by a convicted felon, T.C. Hutchins, who is a distant relative of the mayor.

Earlier this fall, Jenkins hired a friend to demolish the former courthouse for $5,000. The friend and five of his workers were then charged with illegally dumping asbestos-laced debris in the woods.

And now, Jenkins put on a truly great performance. A clock-stopping performance.

“F____ Cracker M____ keep us locked up anywhere. Same M____ Judge bail you out. You F___ crackers. Peckerwood M_____.

“You know Davis, I’m the one that hired you on this job in the F____ place. But that don’t matter. But how the F____ do you guys play the game. I’m not your friend. We’re not here to be friends. But you know something. The S___. How the F___ you gonna arrest me. You have no control because of these M____ Crackers. But it’s a shame how these fellas do like that. You know what comes around, goes around.

You know there’s nothing that you can hurt me with. I’m 54 years old. I’ve lived my F___ life. I try to do something. Build something. Make it productive. But this same S__ with these M___ Crackers. That’s what I try to fight for.

Sir

Don’t call me Sir.

Ma’am

Don’t call me Ma’am. Call me Nigger because that’s what I am.

I’m not going to call you that.

Because when I’m right here in handcuffs. But you know what, it don’t mean a M____ thing to me. If I died today or tomorrow, it wouldn’t mean an M____ thing to me.”

And then he broke a clock.
