Of course the various Al Qaedas, which can’t even get along with each other, did their part too. But much of the credit goes to our very moderate and friendly FSA allies and their Muslim Brotherhood bosses and their Qatari backers.

Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch Gregorios III Laham told the BBC that more than 450,000 Christians out of a total population of 1.75 million had been displaced or left the country.

That’s about a quarter of the population. If we were talking about Muslims, the media would be running new stories every day. But since we’re talking about Christians, no one in the media seems to particularly care.

Even the BBC, whose story this is, lets the figure drop and then moves on.

“Even the BBC, whose story this is, lets the figure drop and then moves on.” Well, why not? If there’s “less” to see in Syria in the way of Christians, then there’s nothing to see. Right? Besides, people are moving around all the time. For all we know, they might be hiding somewhere in Syria, or have started a new country. The BBC is putting its top journalists on the story right now.

Which muslimes were responsible for the ethnic cleansing of Syria’s ancient Jewish population? All of ‘em? Because I never noticed any of ‘em complaining about it.
