Muslim Brotherhood Thugs Tortured Christians in Mosque

Not a problem for Islamists. After all Jihad, the torturing and killing non-Muslims, is the highest form of worship in Islam.

Islamic hard-liners stormed a mosque in suburban Cairo, turning it into torture chamber for Christians who had been demonstrating against the ruling Muslim Brotherhood in the latest case of violent persecution that experts fear will only get worse.

Demonstrators say they were taken from the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in suburban Cairo to a nearby mosque on Friday and tortured for hours by hard-line militia members.

“They accompanied me to one of the mosques in the area and I discovered the mosque was being used to imprison demonstrators and torture them,” Amir Ayad, a Coptic who has been a vocal protester against the regime, told MidEast Christian News from a hospital bed.

Ayad said he was beaten for hours with sticks before being left for dead on a roadside. Amir’s brother, Ezzat Ayad, said he received an anonymous phone call at 3 a.m. Saturday, with the caller saying his brother had been found near death and had been taken to the ambulance.

Officials at the Bilal ibn Rabah Mosque said radical militias stormed the building, in the Cairo suburb of Moqattam, after Friday prayers.

“[We] deeply regret what has happened and apologize to the people of Moqattam,” mosque officials said in a statement, adding that “they had lost control over the mosque at the time.”

There are always “radical militias” to blame everything on. But the most radical militias are the ones running Egypt with the aid and support of Obama and Kerry.

It seems very odd to blame Obama and Kerry for the ongoing persecution of Christians in Egypt but not to blame Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld for the displacement or elimination of 90% of the Christian population of Iraq. Why are Obama and Kerry more to blame than Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld?

    • Chris

Bush didn't do enough. I agree completely. He needed to take a hard line against the deadly perversion that is Islam and instead he called it a religion of peace.
But Obama made it clear that he sides with the Mohammedans , and the Muslim brotherhood and Islamic extremism have an ally in his administration and indeed, much of the democrat party.

It's not just the Democrats. Almost EVERYBODY was fooled by the true nature of Islam. Obama is not stupid, and when Muslim demonstrators throughout the Muslim world chanted "Obama, Obama, We're all Osama" on 09/11/12, that was a wakeup call. Is Obama going to announce to the world that he is no longer duped by false pretenses of "peace"? No. But he is going to change his position on a number of issues, and that is precisely what I think has happened. Did you notice any tension or unhappiness on the part of Netanyahu during Obama's recent visit? No, and I didn't either. There is no longer any talk of concessions with Palestinians for peace in Israel. Those days are over. Everyone is awake now, and the game is beginning to change. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld of course, were clueless, but so was everyone else at that point. It's been a slow process of waking up, and I think we're all getting there. When Obama defangs the Iranian Mullahs by totally eradicating their nuclear weapons and ICBM launch facilities without the loss of a single American life, things will be even more clear.

When do we see evidence he's had his coffee then? He doesn't seem awake yet to me. His best pal seems to be a certain Turkish Islamist.

On that day you'll have a lot to crow about. That day doesn't exactly look imminent.

          • Texas Patriot

During Obama's public press conferences with Netanyahu, Netanyahu seemed very comfortable with the idea that it would take Iran at least one year to actually put together a deliverable nuclear weapon after they actually start assembling one. So it is highly likely that there is will be a sufficient time window for an appropriate response, in the event that Iran makes the very foolish mistake of pursuing that objective. In the meantime, we are getting ready to do whatever we have to do. Have you heard of Operation Chimichanga?

"In the meantime, we are getting ready to do whatever we have to do. Have you heard of Operation Chimichanga?"

There's a difference between planning and scheduling. It's not imminent. But hey, we've all seen the movies where the good guys wait till the last few seconds or even few thousands of a second to neutralize the threat. Maybe real life is like Hollywood depicts it and the good guys will always win in the end no matter how much we procrastinate.

"It's not just the Democrats. Almost EVERYBODY was fooled by the true nature of Islam." Not true – we Jews have been warning about this for many decades and been told that we are the problem. We didn't give the Arabs enough or that we didn't smile enough when we did give them what they demanded.

The President has supported the most extreme elements of Islam on a consistent basis – he does not do that out of ignorance, or being naive – he is neither and was raised in a Muslim regime.

          • Texas Patriot

The "most extreme element of Islam" is without a doubt is Al Qaida, and AQ has NEVER had a more ruthless, relentless, and focused adversary than Obama. He's gone after their leadership in the remote mountains of Pakistan, the remote deserts of Yemen, the remote deserts and mountains of the Islamic Maghreb, and the backyard of Pakistan's national military academy with the deadliest, stealthiest, and most sophisticated technology in America's arsenal. If that makes Obama a "supporter" of AQ, it's hard to imagine what he would do to a real enemy. On the other hand, if Iran goes forward with its plans to develop a nuclear weapon, perhaps we will find that out too.

    • truebearing

You really can't see a difference between the two?

Bush went after a genocidal warmonger. Obama is funding genocidal warmongers and the most dangerous, hatefilled, sociopathic, evil people on earth. Obama has also been mute on these crucifixions and torturing of Christians in Egypt.

Bush tried to bring freedom and self-determination to the people of Iraq. Obama is enabling the Muslim Brotherhood to oppress Egyptians with an iron fist.

      • Texas Patriot

As I understand it, Obama is merely following through with pre-existing and long-standing defense treaties and defense contracts with Egypt. I agree it's probably a mistake, but it is very difficult to change directions on a dime in international relations, especially with one of the few nations in the region that has recognized Israel's right to exist. If Egypt becomes an overtly hostile player in the middle east, they should expect our aid to cease. Besides, what about the $18 billon in foreign aid that Bush gave to Pakistan from 2002-2010, while they were shielding Osama bin Ladin in a luxury villa within three miles of their national military college? If you don't like Obama, fine. But he is far from being the most deluded president we have had in terms of dealing with the threat of global Islamic jihadism since the Munich Olympics in 1972. In fact, he is probably the least deluded one. We'll look forward to seeing how your tune changes, if at all, after he blows the Iranian nuclear weapons and ICBM facilities to smithereens without losing a single American life. If you still doubt him after that, you probably always will.

"As I understand it, Obama is merely following through with pre-existing and long-standing defense treaties and defense contracts with Egypt."

Our agreements are with a state (regime), not a geographical cultural unit. They had a revolution. All bets are off unless renegotiated. We had zero obligations to give them anything, but your explanation allows 0'Bama the superficial cover to just go with empowering Muslim Brotherhood operators. And why shouldn't he since that's what he had in mind all along?

But wait, now he knows because he woke up to the true facts about the MB and Islam on September 11 or 12 last year, or so you say.

All I can say is now we begin another period of Christians being martyred by a hate filled and cowardly religion using God as their shield. I am proud of these courageous Christians who like the early Christians are willing to sacrifice their lives for the one true faith.

This is what is being brought into America, boatload by boatload, it is the American Government
under Obama with the help of all Democrats and Republicans to insure we have our share of
the religion of peace. George Bush should visit this Mosque, so should Obama and declare
thier Christian faith or is that as far fetched as the empty words fallen from thier mouths. What
has the MSM have to say, zip, these cretins go crazy for the MSM if there is a planted rumor
of a Koran being torn or burned yet these people blow each other up with Korans in thier
hands while in thier Mosques, what hypocrisy and clownish theatre, falsehood reaches
a higher level every day with Islamists, Democrats and thier enablers…………….William

Once again, "infidels" can be tortured, killed, and even eaten, just as long as Islam reigns supreme. Westerners must wrap their head around this basic construct: Islam IS incompatible with the west. IF they become dominant, all bets are off. What we are witnessing is nothing, compared to what is in store, once they are in charge of western nations.
Make no mistake. They are winning. They have the leadership of the free world in their pockets and dancing to their tunes –

Time is not on our side!

I don't think there is much doubt about that. Obama has consistently stated that it would be a HUGE mistake to allow Iran to *acquire* nuclear weapons, and that goes all the way back to 2008 when he was debating with Hillary Clinton. The key distinction then, and now, is that Hillary's position was that we would blow Iran to smithereens if Iran ever *used* nuclear weapons. Thus it is perfectly clear that Obama's policy regarding Iranian acquisition of nuclear weapons has always been *prevention* rather than *containment*, and that policy remains in effect today. See Joe Biden's recent speech to AIPAC on March 4, 2013:

But back to your question of "what if" Obama didn't destroy Iran's nuclear weapons production facilities when they actually began assembling a nuclear weapon? At that point we would be in the same position as we were when Richard Nixon ran for office in 1968 on the platform of ending Lyndon Johnson's tragic mistake in Vietnam, and then refused to do so when he got the chance. The American people were forced to accept that breach of promise, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty, and we did accept it. Nixon calculated that he could get away with breaking his promise to the American people, and he was right.

Sooner or later the American people will wake up to the idea that we don't have to accept or tolerate politicians who don't keep their word on matters of extreme national importance. Nixon got away with it. I doubt that Obama would.

On the other hand, there is no doubt in my mind that Obama WILL keep his word regarding *preventing* Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. At this point, the ball is in Iran's court. If they proceed towards assembling a nuclear weapon, we will see if Obama keeps his word. On the other hand, if Iran never begins the process of actually assembling a nuclear weapon, we may never see if Obama will keep his word. I guess it's kind of like Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry. Does Iran feel "lucky".

Perhaps Iran will want to wait for the next American President before they decide to test their luck, and that would probably be a very good idea from Iran's perspective. My personal view is that they would be making a big mistake to test Obama. On the other hand, like many on this board, perhaps Iran thinks that Obama is a Muslim sympathizer or even a closet Muslim and therefore thinks that Obama really is bluffing. We shall see.

    • Texas Patriot

P.S. With the way things are going right now with Kim Jong Un, perhaps N. Korea will be the first to see if Obama is bluffing.

Shin Bet should start smuggling in arms to the Copts. We all know the only way to defeat tyranny is an armed populace. Arm the non Muslims, or even Muslims willing to fight against the tyrranny.

The Copts hate us as much as the Muslims do. In the Middle East the enemy of my enemy is usually my enemy as well

Jesus said to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. The great thing about Islam is that it makes Christian hypocrites look downright silly.
