The Moro National Liberation Front isn’t just a terrorist group. It’s a terrorist group recognized by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. And it’s demonstrating the Islamic notion of cooperation in the Philippines.

Rogue Muslim rebels seeking to declare an independent state put a dozen civilians tied together by rope on display as a human shield on Wednesday as a standoff with security forces in a southern Philippine city entered its third day.

Waving white flags, the hostages shouted “please don’t shoot” at soldiers as rebel snipers perched on roof of a residential block fired at the troops about 500 meters away in the Santa Barbara district of Zamboanga, a key port on the southern island of Mindanao.

The news report does not mention it by Zamboanga is a largely Christian city in the largely Muslim south. A pastor has been taken hostage and several Christians are among the many injured in an attack by a rebel group in the Philippines.

Asamin Hussin, National Security Commander for the MNLF, told AP news agency that they wanted independence.

Sure. Being independent makes it easier to kill non-Muslims. Just ask the Syrian rebels and any surviving Syrian Christians.

It was an Islamic interfaith outreach act….

Islamists have been known to hide behind the slave sacks of their women and children. The slander that infidels are treated like second class citizens can be put to rest. If it’s good enough for Allah’s babies…the Golden Rule personified.

LOL. Killing the najjis kaffir is the next step in any islamic interfaith outreach program, especially once they get the power to do it w/impunity.

Time for the Philippine Govt and people to take a page out of the Burma playbook on how to deal with the muslim savages in their midst.
