While China and North Korea are scaling up the aggressiveness to 11, the United States is preparing for Waterworld. When historians look back on this period, they will be baffled by the pivot of a world power from bringing order and stability to sinking into a bizarre ecological superstition that led it to completely neglect the security situation.
It would be nice to think that this insanity was just limited to the White House, but military leaders now know to echo whatever insanity comes out of the White House.
Navy Admiral Samuel J. Locklear III, in an interview at a Cambridge hotel Friday… said significant upheaval related to the warming planet “is probably the most likely thing that is going to happen . . . that will cripple the security environment, probably more likely than the other scenarios we all often talk about.’’
Locklear said his Hawaii-based headquarters — which is assigned more than 400,00 military and civilian personnel and is responsible for operations from California to India, is working with Asian nations to stockpile supplies in strategic locations and planning a major exercise for May with nearly two dozen countries to practice the “what-ifs.”
Just so we’re clear here…
North Korea has taken a significant step toward war. China is continuing to escalate its activities in the South China Sea. Japan has moved to the right and is preparing to arm up.
And the United States is conducting a major exercise to prepare for Global Warmingeddon.
This bizarre scenario reminds one of medievals who couldn’t be bothered to plow their fields or conduct business because they were too busy preparing for the end of the world. Now lefty ‘progress’ has brought us into line with them. Our armed forces are too busy preparing for the end of the world to actually stop the real world end of the world.
This isn’t a one off for Locklear III. In his congressional testimony last week, he listed Global Warming first on the list of security threats followed by terrorism in second place and border disputes in third.
All this is a reminder that the Ecoscam isn’t just a noxious cult, it’s a security threat, not to the rising waters, but to our national security.
