Obama Goes Full-Carter, Puts Solar Panels Back on White House Roof

Now that Obama has wrapped up implementing Carter’s foreign policy of wrecking American power and turning the Middle East over to Islamist thugs, he is revisiting the site of Carter’s greatest achievement.

Obama is making good on his 2010 pledge to put solar panels on top of the White House. The panels will be the second set the building has ever seen. The first ones were removed when Ronald Reagan was president.

Scientific American told the story of the 32 panels removed by Reagan a few years ago. Those had been installed by President Jimmy Carter. “In the year 2000,” Carter said when they were put up in 1979, “this solar water heater behind me, which is being dedicated today, will still be here supplying cheap, efficient energy.”

The October 2010 announcement, from Obama’s then-Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, that panels would be returned to the roof fit the political moment.

And with typical Obama timing, it took three years to put solar panels on the roof of the White House. Meanwhile Obama’s dirty green cash flow to his backers only led to multiple Green Energy bankruptcies.

Steven Chu was largely implicated in many of the Green Energy scandals including the 500 mil dropped on Solyndra. The Washington Post fact-checker found that Chu’s claims were dishonest.

But finally the solar panels are back and President Carter’s third term can really get starter.

Great – I hear they’ll pay for themselves in 8 years.
Since the CBO estimates that the federal debt will hit $25 trillion by 2021, those savings in electricity will be a lifesaver..

No, in eight years they will about pay for the fuel required to fly O’s dog to Martha’s Vineyard.

    What’s next….Obama lusting?

    • Naresh Krishnamoorti

He is not honest enough to admit his lust for Reggie Love.

With so much to worry about in the world, why take time to criticize solar energy? Bizarre.

Here at EnergySage we are thrilled to see solar panels on the White House
again – we even wrote a blog a while back asking the president to make this
change. We believe in solar because we know it makes financial sense. Solar has something to offer for each political party. Check out why: http://bit.ly/12Ip2HH
