Hope, Change and Jihad.

The US and Hezbollah are in secret indirect talks managed by London dealing with the fight against Al-Qaida, regional stability and other Lebanese political issues.

Except that Hezbollah is fighting Al Qaeda in Syria. While Obama is backing the Sunni side, which includes Al Qaeda.

The discussions “are aimed at keeping tabs on the changes in the region and the world, and prepare for the upcoming return of Iran to the international community,” according to diplomatic sources in Washington.

So not only is Obama legitimizing Iran’s nuclear weapons programs, but he’s also legitimizing one of the world’s nastiest terrorist groups… that was responsible for the 1983 Beirut bombing which killed 220 marines.

Because the US, unlike the UK, recognizes both the political and military wings of Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and refuses to distinguish between them, US officials cannot legally meet with any member of the party. But according to the sources, the US is willing to hear the views of the party and “warm up to a direct relationship in the future.”

Just wait till Obama and Nasrallah go to a Beirut couscous joint on their first date.

Democrats are careful not call these people terrorists and they’ll actually talk with THEM, but Dems will call tea party conservatives terrorist names and ignore them all day long.
Maybe if we actually DID strap bombs to our chests, they’d take the time to listen.

Obama would conspire (not negotiate) with Adolph if he were alive.

    • RockyFjord

dunno bout that, but that the Bush family DID do business with the Nazis during WWII is a known fact.

      • kasandra

        It’s Bush’s fault. It’s Bush’s fault. BWAK. It’s Bush’s fault.

        • Guest

yes it is Bush’s fault. He didn’t attack Iran’s nuke installations, did he?

      • http://fdnyretiree.com/ Ed FDNYRetiree

Don’t know about that, but how did Bush enter this discussion — I thought it was about OBWANA!

  • RockyFjord

Well, there has always been back door diplomacy, whether it is done by state
department or CIA which can be denied. I see it as a good development. Hezbollah was involved with getting Israelis out of Lebanon. I think they are not terrorists as al Qaeda, Al Nusra, ISIS, and all the rest of Sunni Wahhabi and Salafi terrorists. This shift from Bush Bush Cheney Bandar strategy to one of diplomacy and cooperation, is truly a good move by the Obama administration.

    • kasandra

But of course. They’re simply the Lebanese version of the Rotary Club. Keen analysis there, Rocky.

      • RockyFjord

Thank you, but I think your analogy with the Rotary club is faulty.
Though I confess to know nothing of rotary clubs. Are you a member, maybe you could enlighten me? I do know that Hezbollah’s kicking the Israelis out of Lebanon was a morally good thing. you might avail yourself of the history of that action
        before running your silly mouth?

        • kasandra

You also obviously know nothing about Hezbollah. Or Lebanon’s unfortunate history.

        • Drakken

Yeah the same effing jihadist that you love blew up the US embassy twice and my barracks in Beirut. So that makes you a muslim jihadist sympathizer or supporter. I would really really enjoy kicking the stool out from under you at the nearest lamp post, traitor.

    • Drakken

If you support and defend hezzbollah, your as much as a muslim jihadist as they are, and I wouldn’t hesitate to put you in the ground for doing so.

  • Gee

Odumba is in total surrender mode. He needs to be impeached before the situation is beyond all hope

    • Drakken

I am afraid that we are beyond the point of no return now. This does not end well at all.

  • Drakken

I cannot believe that my Government is negotiating with Islamic jihadists who blew up my barracks in 83? WTF !!!!!!!! This govt has gone traitor on us all.

    • Alex Nunez

Nobody knew it was hezbollah who did it because there was not much evidence and I doubt it was because they don’t condone suicide bombing.

  • Alex Nunez

Thanks and praise be to allah. The party of god shall rid the world of the sunni opressors. Please see hezbollah as a legit organization that revolted against israel when they invaded lebanon. Hezbollah sends reinforcements to places where their people are being slaughtered and killed to protect them. just because they have separate beliefs less violent ones as well doesn’t mean you should treat an organized group of religious people who want stability like those sunni wahabi dogs. Hezbollah has christian support because us shia respect other peoples religion and ways of life as long as they don’t infringe on ours.

  • WorldWatchman

Collaborating with the enemy is a traitorous offence.

  • will2012012

If all this was of Obama’s doing, he would have long ago been impeached. Or shot by a lone gunman. No, that’s all played by the USA/CIA government-industrial complex. Top generals getting fat corporate positions post-retirement, if they play along well while in office. The policy shift was in 2004, not 2008. W went along with it, fired Rumsfeld and all the “neocons”. Libby was even sent to jail for Goodness’ sake! Pro-GOP fantasies aren’t helpful.
