Obama Offers to Let Iran Keep Nukes in Return for “Peaceful Assurances”

What a surprise.

Obama is predictably pursuing the North Korean approach to Iran’s nuclear program. With the inevitable identical outcome. Except trade South Korea for Israel.

In his UN talkathon, Obama declared, “We are not seeking regime change, and we respect the right of the Iranian people to access peaceful nuclear energy.”

Sure. No reason to keep a regime that is one of the biggest terrorist supporters in the world from having nuclear technology, as long as the inspectors show up a few times and completely miss the weaponization of nuclear technology.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Leader has issued a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons, and President Rouhani has just recently reiterated that the Islamic Republic will never develop a nuclear weapon.

These statements made by our respective governments should offer the basis for a meaningful agreement. We should be able to achieve a resolution that respects the rights of the Iranian people, while giving the world confidence that the Iranian program is peaceful.

How nice. There’s a Fatwa. Problem solved.

The Supreme Leader keeps threatening to wipe out Israel. But I’m sure he means that in a non-nuclear fashion.

Iran’s genuine commitment to go down a different path will be good for the region and the world, and will help the Iranian people meet their extraordinary potential – in commerce and culture; in science and education.

That won’t happen without regime change. But while Obama supports regime change in Syria, he doesn’t support it in Iran. Because he always sides with Islamists.

Surely this Muslim Brotherhood loving President has heard of Taqiyya. Anything an Islamic leader says must be taken with a grain of salt. These statements seem to indicate that our President is very Chamberlainesque. Or perhaps he is engaging in a little taqiyya himself to help Iran achieve their “peaceful” nuclear ambitions.

    • Softly Bob

I’m pretty sure that Obama knows what taqiyya is. I suspect it’s a case of the latter option that you gave.

    • BS77

      Yes, the Chamberlain moment.

      • ziggy zoggy

No. Obama has wanted a nuclear Iran from the start. What he says has always been meaningless. Watch what he does.

  • Zagat Tragonach

I support regime change! Here in the U.S.

  • Veracious_one

nuke inspectors would promptly be kicked out of the country if the really did their job….

  • justquitnow

Seriously, why didn’t Obama pound his fist and call them evil and threaten invasion if they don’t immediately do what the US wants them to? I like how you just selected little bits and then tell us what they mean. The real speech was long and boring…and we know Obama loves Muslims…

  • Hass

That Muslime Usurper has totally lost the plot if he thinks Iran’s nuke ambitions is for peaceful means.

How I wish the US Forces would do an Egypt.

When Christie or Cruz becomes President, things will happen. People are sick and tired of self defeating political correctness. Look at the Conservative victory in Australia. I think most of you guys are more like Jim Jeffries than Nicole fucking Kidman. Most Americans feel we have no voice and are pissed completely off at our government and media, who fuck us up the @$$ every second of every day.

      • Hass

Hehehe… Nicole? That thing makes me puke, but Jim Jeffries? Yeah, that bloke is awesome.

You’re bang on with the Aussie Conservative victory. We (not me) gave the pathetic Left a shot at Government and what did that give us? A boat load of Muslimes a day, which blew out to about 75K economic free loaders in just under 6 years and which costed over 13 Billion, money that should’ve went to Aussies not parasites.
Spend like there’s no tomorrow and from a surplus to a deficit blow out is the Libturds motto.

The US will hopefully be Governed by Conservatives on the next election. Your country needs the Conservatives to bring it back as the firm leader of the free world. The morally corrupt and incompetent Libturds have done enormous damage to the US.

  • ziggy zoggy

    Yep.

  • Red47

    So……..yeah.
Preezy said “I want you guys to have nukes. It will help build our caliphate.”
    What other conclusion is there?

Iran invented the game of Chess, there is no better player than Rouhani to pull the wool over the eyes of a tic-tac-toe playing President.

Take a good look at Iran’s creation of the Shia Crescent; Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Look at the populations of the oil fields of the Arabian Gulf; Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, which hold significant populations of Shia Muslims. Review the primary tenet of the Shia, which is not to recognize any sovereign authority except that of the Shia religion-and the Head of the Shia is the Grand Ayatollah in Iran.

Look how their tentacles have extended to spreading their religion in South America,up to Mexico and the very borders of the U.S.A. Hope for the best? Better prepare for the worst.

When their delaying tactics result in Iran getting its nuke, it will hold a knife to the throat of the Arabian Gulf’s oil producing countries, and the New Islamic Persian Empire will be an existential threat to the entire world.

The Bahrain Protocol, Amazon Kindle’s new thriller spells out the truth in a gripping novel about the U.S.’ withdrawal from the world stage; and if the U.S. won’t protect the world, Israel will-with a surprising new partner-Saudi Arabia.
