Obamacare May Wipe Out 2% of America’s Workforce

Look on the bright side. At least the folks on the death panels will still keep their jobs. Until it’s their turn.

Of the 144 million Americans employed last month, only 116 million were working full-time. Friday’s report showed that 58.7% of the civilian adult population of 245 million was working last month. Only 47% of Americans, however, had a full-time job.

Obamacare will move at least 2.3 million full-time working Americans into part-time work. It will result in millions of Americans losing their healthcare benefits and vacation hours. Obamacare will also force one million Americans to seek welfare.

That means  that at current predictions, likely to change, Obamacare will kill off at least two percent of the US full-time workforce.
(116 million divided by 2.3 million)

If this seems rather terrible, it’s what some of the worst European economies already look like with part time jobs for most younger people and a limited reserve of full time jobs for union members and government employees.

One of the goals of Obamacare is for employees to go from full-time jobs to part-time jobs.

French Queen Antoinette when told the people were hungry and had no bread to eat, said, “LET THEM EAT CAKE”.

This is by design… create more poor to be dependent on the government and then use your allies in the media and entertainment to convince the poor Republicans hate them and caused the problem. Democrats don’t want people to succeed because they need a permanent underclass.

The latest news is that putting employees on part-time will not allow a company to avoid Obamacare. So there will only be three classes of people in America: those on welfare, union members and government employees working full-time in non-productive sectors of the economy, and independent contractors. This will, of course, hasten the demise of social security.

Irony is if they had dropped it as a requirement for employers to provide health insurance–only offering it voluntarily as a genuine benefit to work there, then more places would be hiring full time. One full timer is easier to manager and ultimately cheaper than 2-3 part timers. Further if they’d looked at why healthcare costs so much (such as needing tort reform) rather than demanding we all be insured under a system that costs ever more then people would be willing to buy insurance at these exchanges–especially if they allowed it to be sold across state lines which would make it even cheaper. Instead part time people will have to buy expensive insurance or face civil or even criminal penalties in taxes. There’s a reason the worst of it was put off until 2014–the planned second half of Obama’s second term, when he is a lame duck. Trouble is it’s shaping up to be worse than they thought, and Obama is nowhere near the popularity he held in 2009.
