Obama’s White House Counsel Kathyrn Ruemmler is the New Fall Girl

“Hey girl, I hope you like buses. You’re about to be under one.”

I don’t want to presume to offer the smartest man on the planet any advice, but maybe throwing your own lawyer under the bus might be a bad idea.

On the other hand, maybe that’s what White House Counsels are for. So you can blame them for everything.

The current official/unofficial narrative is that Kathyrn Ruemmler, the White House Counsel, who has done a pretty good job of stonewalling for Obama in the past, was responsible for

1. Knowing about the IRS targeting without telling Obama

2. Sabotaging the release of Benghazi information

The latest phase of the glorious narrative is that Obama got tripped up by his own lawyers. So says Buzzfeed and would Buzzfeed ever deliberately mislead you using administration talking points? Not since Monday.

BuzzFeed has learned that key members of President Obama’s national security team, including deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes, pushed to release a comprehensive timeline of events documenting the attack that would also synthesize the views of the various government agencies into one report. The CIA also wanted the White House to put out such a timeline, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

Those plans were quashed, however, when the White House Counsel’s office, which is led by Kathryn Ruemmler, advised the officials to not release any information to the public out of fear it could be used against them in any subsequent investigations and other legal complications.

Is there any chance that Buzzfeed learned all this from Ben Rhodes? Perish that crazy thought.

“It was aggravating,” one administration official said. “It comes back to Kathryn Ruemmler, Kathyrn Ruemmler, Kathryn Ruemmler. I hate to say it, as it sounds like piling on, but it’s on her doorstep too.”

Ruemmler has also come under fire this week for not making the president and others aware of the IRS investigation.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.

So the new story is that Obama and everyone around him wanted to do the right thing, but were prevented from doing it by an overzealous lawyer… who was only looking out for Obama’s best interests.

So no one is at fault really.

And where was Obama while all this internal drama (so much drama) was going on? Who knows. The story doesn’t bother to fill us in on what was going on in the head of the Nobel Peace Prize winner who was hitting the links with no clue that anything was going wrong. And how could he know?

It’s not like the buck stops with him. It stopped with Kathryn Ruemmler. And if Kathryn Ruemmler is the only one in the White House willing to accept responsibility for anything… maybe we should make her president.

And then Obama can have a really good excuse for not knowing what’s going on.

Either way, Obama hired her. If he can't handle the simple task of hiring competent people, he is clearly not competent enough to run this Nation.

He seems to collect useful idiots around him that accept responsibility for all his policies failures.

      • DDay66

The "it's so and so's fault" is no excuse in the real world, only in Obamastan can it be.

Well, you have to understand, in Democrat administrations these sacrificial lambs are taken care of and go on to college and law school faculties, jobs as Democrat lobbiests, media jobs, publishing contracts, jobs in the entertainment industry, etc. These people take the blame, shield their superiors from blame, lie and cover up for them, and, in return, The Party takes care of them. Life isn't so bad being a Democrat fall guy (or girl).

Maybe that's how mohammad ran his empire back in the day. And they could always be beheaded later and dispense with the inconsistencies in his ideology.

Unless he is competent at redistributing wealth. Then he's competent enough to get elected twice. That's not just the bottom line, that's the only line.

      • DDay66

His belief in the concept of wealth redistribution is as misguided as his decisions of who to hire.

I wonder if Obongo is even resposible for"messing his pants"?????????????????????????

    • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLNn2YflwNs Roger

No one wanted to tell him, so he'd have deniability.

tTKR is the least of our problems! What about all of his czars and oppressive agencies? BTW: Why has no one suggested getting rid of czars as part of controlling spending? …..Oh, but no one, including Congress really seems to be interested in reducing the size of government.

Well we at least have a confession about completely incompetent management from the top…leading from behind…or somewhere. But then again it's clearly a lie.

Will leftists care? What difference does it make. Do we still get our free stuff? OK then.

"So no one is at fault really."

Hey, stuff happens. Get your free gear; vote Democrat.
