Pakistan: “Families Marry their Sons to the Young Girls to Gain a Child Servant”

Welcome to Pakistan. It might be in Pakistan or, thanks to immigration, it might be the next block over.

And it’s not just Pakistani girls who suffer. Men from a culture where women are treated like this are not safe around any women, no matter what the law in America, Canada or Australia may be.

Aisha, 18: “I got married when I was just 10.

“At the time of the marriage, my husband was a school student, just 16 years old.

“My father had a second wife and he had a conflict with them, so he gave me away in order to settle the conflict with the second wife’s family.

“The marriage was arranged by family, it was not a forced marriage – but I was a little girl at the time, I did not know the meaning of marriage and accepted it because I did not know any better. My husband was really harsh with me because of the fact that I did not know what a marriage was, and what the duties of a wife were.

“He wanted a sexual relationship but I did not even know what that was at the time, and so he started beating me to get it.

“My hand was fractured, and also my eyes suffered injuries and were severely affected from the beatings. Very early on in the marriage, I fell pregnant twice. Both children died due to my extremely young age.

“No one could help me – everyone remained silent. I guess they thought this is a tradition – that every woman should be beaten by her husband and this is his right to get his demands, to get what he wants.

“I did not escape – I compromised with him and stayed for the sake of two children we now have (two more, after the first two died).

“My children are the reason I have stayed. And my father is old now, I can’t hurt him by leaving so I will stay – it’s tradition. This is a tradition here in my village (in the Bannu district). Most females get married at 10-12 years old.

Men from a culture where this is the norm are never going to treat women decently. It’s just a fact of life. If you think it’s socially acceptable to rape a 10-year-old, then you will keep on doing it when you’re in the UK too.

Muslim men know this is Islamic tradition.

No wonder Muslim birthrates per capita are so much higher than their Western counterparts. If their ultimate strategy is to dominate Western democracies by sheer numbers at the ballot box, of course they would object to changing this custom. It’s the not so secret weapon of Islamic jihad.

Should Muslims be treated like the SPLC wants to treat Christians, that is, no tolerance for the intolerant, banning Muslim political parties?

RFW: “Should Muslims be treated like the SPLC wants to treat Christians, that is, no tolerance for the intolerant, banning Muslim political parties?”

I’m not sure what that question has to do with the Islamic custom of requiring women to marry at a young age, but generally speaking, I do think we should examine very carefully the mandatory duty of jihad that is imposed on all Muslims, and if, for example, the duty of jihad requires Muslims to discriminate against non-Muslims and even initiate violence against non-Muslims, I think we need to honestly ask ourselves what place, if any, that kind of ideology has in Western civilization, which is dedicated to the equal rights, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and separation of Church and State.

    Dear Daniel,
    Just for authenticity purposes;
The photo above is taken in Yemen, and the people in it are Yemenites, clearly distinguished by their garb, which is not even close to Pakistani garb.

    All the best.

Daniel you are correct…that is North Yemen for sure…been there….saw that…

I was in medical college in Peshawar and a doctor graduating with me was asked what would he do on the first night of his marriage. His answer was to beat the wife to let her know who is the boss! this is the culture folks with these Peshawar Pathans

This has brought me to tears. Just visualizing this happening to my wonderful, loving, and most precious 15-years old daughter is just unbearable. But then my rational mind thinks what else to expect from a primitive culture that has been improved only marginally by a religion which claims to be the most advanced and superior, even after almost 1400 years of absolute dominance on these cultures. Or perhaps their religion itself is responsible for retarding the normal and natural progress of cultures by insisting on sticking to values of 7the century.

You cannot say this is Islamic tradition… In fact Islam is against forced marriages, rape, beating your wife… so please! the next time you blame Islam… show atleast an evidence of one verse in the holy qur’an where it says “YES BEAT YOUR WIFE, FORCE YOUR DAUGHTERS TO MARRIAGE OR EVEN RAPE IF SHE DOES NOT FULFILLS YOUR DEMANDS”

Yes this happens in the muslim countries… but you cannot blame islam for it!
How about tell the muslims around your community about this article and see their reactions… they’d most likely be disgusted themselves! Unless you’re telling me this happens around your community aswell. (outside muslim countries) Then yes as a muslim myself, i’d be more than glad that they get punished! Bring Justice!
