Palestinian Authority Jails Man for Making Sarcastic Comment About its President

That’s the Palestinian Authority whose president has decided to forgo elections, but has decided to lock people up for making mildly sarcastic comments about him.

This backward tyranny is funded by American taxpayer dollars sent to President Soccer Ball.

A Palestinian court on Thursday sentenced a West Bank man to a year in prison for “insulting” president Mahmud Abbas in a remark he posted on Facebook.

A court in the northern West Bank city of Nablus sent Anas Said Awad, 26, from the nearby village of Awarta, to jail over a caption he posted next to a picture of Abbas kicking a football saying “a new striker for Real Madrid.

His father said that the judge handed down the sentence without calling Anas into the courtroom, even though he was waiting elsewhere in the building.

The United States doesn’t just fund the Palestinian Authority, it has shelled out sizable amounts of money to build courts and provide legal training for the so-called Palestinian justice system. And this is what it’s used for.

I'm sure this is some how the Israelis fault. I just can't figure out how because my brain still works properly.

Just exactly who does the Palestinian Authority (PLO) have authority over? Just asking?

Obama kicks cans. Abbas kicks soccer balls. Both vote-worthy, fine, upstanding gentlemen.

some justice system. Zero wishes judges worked that way in USA!

" Zero wishes judges worked that way in USA!"
They do work for him in the USA that way.
e.g., *Col. Terry Lakin got court martial-ed by a military judge because of Obama. Lakin was denied USMJ discovery, the calling of witnesses, and lost all of his retirement benefits, while doing five months of a six month sentence in Ft. Leavenworth.

*Ret. Lt. Commander Walter Fitzpatrick III, likewise did jail time in Monroe County, Tennessee for trying to serve a presentment on Obama, to a County grand jury. Trying to get justice on Obama hasn't been the easiest task. Both men started innocently, but ended up being criminalized by the two justice systems.

Add, *dozens upon dozens, upon dozens of lawsuits seeking Barack Hussein Obama's true identity have been turned back by state and federal judges. The cover up for him have been astounding, and unprecedented.
