Possible Boston Bomber Muslim Conspirator Shot Dead by FBI Agent in Florida

We started out with two lone wolves. Which is one more than a lone wolf should be. Now a third man, Ibragim Todashev, a Muslim associate of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was shot dead by an FBI agent. Presumably for cause.

So now maybe we have three lone wolves. Not counting the other three who helped cover up for the Tsarnaevs and have been charged for it. So now it’s six lone wolves.

That is a lot of lone wolves. Maybe it even counts as a pack of lone wolves.

The Florida story is still developing, but here is some of what we do know…

A man who was shot dead by an FBI agent late Tuesday night in Orlando knew one of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings, a man identified as friend of the victim said Wednesday.

The agent encountered the man while conducting official duties, agent Dave Couvertier said in a statement.

A man at the scene on Peregrine Avenue near Kirkman and Vineland roads who identified himself as a friend of the victim said the man knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the older brother suspected in the April 15 bombings that killed three and injured more than 260.

Khusen Taramov said he and his friend had no connection with the Boston bombings, but the FBI had been questioning them since then.

Miller reported that FBI agents went to Todashev’s apartment complex after midnight Wednesday morning to question him. Todashev had been on the bureau’s radar since Tsarnaev was identified as a suspect in the bombing.

“He had been interviewed along with a number of other people in the apartment complex, but the interest in him was higher because of a couple of factors: He was in contact with Tamerlan Tsarnaev. He had been to Boston to visit him, and he was planning a trip to Chechnya,” Miller said.

FBI agents went to question him overnight after there were indications that he canceled that trip, Miller said.

“In the encounter in the apartment, something went wrong,” Miller said.

Things often seem to go wrong when interacting with Muslims. Might be a lone wolf thing.

I wonder how big this "lone wolf" pack is? It could be thousands or more but they're still "lone wolfs" wreaking havoc in the workplace again.

I know, it should be "lone wolves" but either phrase is oxymoronic.

You can't lose lone wolves. That would imply many, which is Wolfophobic. We must emphasize that it's only a tiny minority of extremist wolves.

      • Looking4Sanity

Indeed. Considering that there are 2 billion Muslims in the world, and ONLY 10% of them are "radicalized"…we've only got 200 million Muslim homicidal / suicidal maniacs running loose around the globe. Where's the problem, right?

"That is a lot of lone wolves. Maybe it even counts as a pack of lone wolves."

Priceless. That's a keeper! I hope you don't mind if we all borrow that line, Daniel. I know I'm going to!

    "Pack of lone wolves" Bwahahaha!

I was attacked by a pack of lone wolves. They huffed and they puffed and they blew my house up down.

Afghanistan is a beautiful country full of lone wolves who fight in packs.

…and beautiful women with bags on their heads. It's a crazy mixed up world we live in.Thanks for the reply, Daniel. :o)

It will be interesting to hear the official explanation of why it was necessary to kill this potentially extremely important source of information regarding the existence of Islamist terrorist cells in the United States.

Let's rework the jihadi wheel, at least for all those not fully up to speed. There was NO lone wolf in Boston's jihad, but there was a concerted jihadi thrust into Boston, ready to pounce elsewhere – http://adinakutnicki.com/2013/05/19/bostons-jihad

    Time to root them out!!

It would appear that this is similar to the Zimmerman/Martin encounter.Zimmerman was getting his head pounded into the pavement and his only recourse was to use his gun.The FBI agent appears to have been in a similar situatation..He did have to got to the hospital because the Chechen he had to shoot was beating the bejeezes out of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ibragim Todashev is dead. That's one small step for man…one giant leap for mankind.

  • onecornpone

    Oopsie! Another speed bump?!?

    Did Todashev have citizenship?

An early morning encounter in the suspects apartment… where "something went wrong"?

    Were there non-law enforcement witnesses?

Laa-tee dee, laa-tee daa! I suppose FBI agents killing residents in their own homes is merely more of that "Change you can believe in".

Is the FBI merely overcompensating for their shoddy work on Tamerlan, or are they eliminating witnesses who could further incriminate them in their laxity.
