There are three stages of liberal propaganda that every event must pass through like streams of radiation penetrating earth’s atmosphere.
1. Pre-Event – The Sequester will destroy America, eat all the Twinkies, kill all the ducks, salt the earth and then dance among the ashes
2. Event – The Sequester is Racist
3. Post-Event – Obama’s Sequester vision saved the economy
Since we’re at Stage 2, after armageddon did not happen and before the Democrats start taking credit for the Sequester cuts that they are currently rejecting credit for, there’s only one one-size-fits-all approach that covers the situation.
Come with me now to the Congressional Black Caucus where it’s always Alabama 1965 and we’re always marching on an endless road to fight the atomic particles of racism present in all forms of matter. Everything is racist. Everyone is racist. Unless you’re a Democrat.
Sequestration will impact everyone, but it will have a particularly harmful effect on communities of color who were hit first and worst by the great recession, and have yet to significantly feel the effects of the recovery,” Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) said Monday.
“Federal budget cuts under sequestration would quickly mean cuts to federal, state and local public-sector jobs, which disproportionately employ women and African-Americans.”
Lee said in 2011, employed blacks made up 20 percent of the federal, state and local public-sector workforce, and that women were 50 percent more likely to work in the public sector.
Should the government disproportionately employ any race or group? Apparently yes.
So any cuts to government spending are now racist. On the other hand, bankrupting the country by spending oodles of money on constantly expanding government is also probably racist. The recession created on the backs of racial preference mortgages that victimized minority homeowners in the long run is also racist.
Now all we have to do is get through the difficult part and then ten years from now, Barbara Lee will be honored for her efforts to achieve racial justice through the sequester.
