“Under the Islamists, Blacks were Exploited Even More”: Ex-Slaves Speak Out About Muslim Rule

Muslims have sold a lot of African-Americans on the myth that Islam is an “African” religion and that Arabic words are African. In fact, Islam is the religion of Arab slavemasters. And recent events in Mali serve as a reminder of that.

Islam incorporates not only religious supremacism through theocracy, but also ethnic supremacism that privileges the descendants of Mohammed.

Her light-skinned master no longer beats her with a camel whip. He no longer makes her work from dawn to night without pay. He fled with his family four months ago, along with the Islamists who briefly ruled this historic city.

“I am free,” said Aminaya Traore, a 50-year-old woman who was born into slavery. “I can do whatever I want.”

Across this sand-swept city, hundreds of modern-day slaves are experiencing a sense of liberation, many for the first time. Nearly all the lighter-skinned Tuaregs and Arab Moors who for generations exploited them have fled the city, fearing reprisal attacks for supporting supporting the Islamists or the Tuareg separatists whose rebellion helped ignite the Islamist takeover of Mali’s north last year.

“Under the Islamists, blacks were exploited even more by the pink-skinned people,” said Roukiatou Cisse, a social worker with Temedt, a human rights group, referring to the Tuaregs and Arab Moors. “They told them, ‘We are with the Islamists. We are in power. We are the masters and you are our slaves. We will do what we want.’ ”

Slavery remains a major problem in the Muslim world due to the religion’s racist undertones.

President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1862. By contrast, Saudi Arabia only abolished slavery in 1962. That same year Yemen abolished slavery and the United Arab Emirates abolished slavery a year later.

Al-Tabari wrote that, “Noah prayed that the hair of Ham’s descendants would not grow beyond their ears, and that whenever his descendants met Shem’s, the latter would enslave them.”  This theological justification provided a religious manifest destiny for the Arab conquests and acts of ethnic cleansing in Africa.

The great Muslim historian Ibn Khaldun justified slavery by relegating black people to the rank of animals, writing, “The only people who accept slavery are the Negroes, owing to their low degree of humanity and proximity to the animal stage.”

I don't think it's about being black. I think it's about being most vulnerable. Islamists will exploit anyone they perceive to be less powerful. That's why women have a target on their backs, too!!

    • ziggy zoggy

      "I don't think it's about being black."

      The islamopithecines think differently.

  • tanstaafl

The word for "black" and the word for "slave" are one and the same in Arabic.

    • Looking4Sanity

Bwahaha! One gold star for trivia fact of the day!

  • gee59

I have always found the Black Muslim movement to be rather ironic. Half the slavers in Africa were black and the other half were Muslims. Thought they might be against slavery, guess I don't understand them at all

    • Mary Sue

I think some of that half the black slavers WERE Muslims too (the other half being arab/persian/turkish).

      • welldoneson

these facts don't make the world stage much, because of course the world's left have spent the last 3 generations assuring folks that only the U. S. used slaves.

    • Larry

If you strike a black East African with a muslim name it means his/her ancestors were in the slave trade, not just as middle men, but as active collectors of slaves.

Want to know how Islam treats its Christian Blacks under their rule? Look no farther than Sudan as an example http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/08/14/fungible-defi

I dare anyone to dispute the facts contained herein.

Being black has a great deal to do with it. The Islamists view these people as cattle. The next time someone can prove to me a virtuous quality of Islam will be the first.

I will not hold my breath.

    • welldoneson

Well, Islam does spread itself around the world quite well. Over a billion of the little bass terds.

  • Looking4Sanity

Every cloud has a silver lining? I think it is ironically poetic that the voting bloc that is forcing misery upon all of us will, by their own actions, subject themselves to that same station in life that they so detest. I bet shackles feel even heavier with the knowledge that you put them on yourself.

In fact…that applies equally to people of all colors.

    • welldoneson

yes, "colored" folks, queers, atheists… all will be eliminated if 0bama's people take charge…

      • Looking4Sanity

Really? Why would the man kill off his own voting bloc? That doesn't seem rational to me…and by extension, neither do you.

      • Looking4Sanity

Also…Obama's people have ALREADY taken over, and those you mention have multiplied, not diminished. Care to rebut?

        • ziggy zoggy

Hew was obviously referring to islamopithecines but yes, they have multiplied.

          • Looking4Sanity

Sorry. It wasn't at all obvious to me.

      • Confused

What I don't understand is obama is half black and half white, muslims hate both races. They are using him.

  • Guest

This will be a live spirited thread……

I must say the Tauregs do dress very interesting and are very exotic… their men veil. And they wear those beautiful blue colors.

    • ziggy zoggy

you would wear a veil too if you had mugs like theirs.

  • elle

@Gee59… yeah, the Black Muslim movement is ironic, but it's not about Islam anyways, it's about rejecting America and the West and afro-centrism. Also, Islam is full of discipline and Blacks need more discipline than others it seems.

Also, believe it or not, the first Christian nation state was Ethiopia, in AFRICA, so Christianity should not be seen as some kind of white mans religion.

Judaism and Christianity are just as "middle eastern" as Islam.

It's funny how ironic we see everything historically.

    Europeans were colonized- by Romans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's all one big joke.

    • Lan Astaslem

Because true islam is so violent, it appeals to the violent – and I'd add stupid – elements in any society. That's why there are also many white, asian, hispanic, etc. converts. They have hatred and rage and find a convenient way to vent thru islam. The one common denominator of all converts – they're all lowlives.

      • Cat K

Agree.. This type of faith appeals to people with much anger and alienation who are seeking structure and an excuse for their emotional turmoil. Just as other faiths attract those converts with other types of needs. And typically, we Americans don't care what your faith is if you are a good citizen and neighbor. Muslims – hardly a tiny group – manage to use the Western leftist minority victim concept to cry wolf even as they begin to devour us.

    • welldoneson

Islam isn't really "middle eastern", tho it did come from the Arabian Peninsula. Its claim to Jerusalem as a Moslem holy place is just as artificial as Islam's claim to all those holy sites in India that used to be Hindu holy sites. That's how Islam expands. It's the cowbird of religion.
