Venezuela Nationalizes Toilet Paper Factory to Cope with Toilet Paper Shortage

There’s no way that this brilliant plan by a man who claims that his former leader has returned to guide him in the form of a bird can’t work.

A Venezuelan state agency on Friday ordered the temporary takeover of a factory that produces toilet paper in what it called an effort to ensure consistent supplies after embarrassing shortages earlier this year.

Critics of President Nicolas Maduro say the nagging shortages of products ranging from bathroom tissue to milk are a sign his socialist government’s rigid price and currency controls are failing. They have also used the situation to poke fun at his administration on social media networks.

A national agency called Sundecop, which enforces price controls, said in a statement it would occupy one of the factories belonging to paper producer Manpa for 15 days, adding that National Guard troops would “safeguard” the facility.

“The action in the producer of toilet paper, sanitary napkins and disposable diapers responds to the state’s obligation to ensure a steady supply of basic goods for the people,” Sundecop said, adding it had observed “the violation of the right” to access such products.

Sure it’s funny from a distance, but just wait till President Elizabeth Warren (PBUH) is nationalizing toilet paper factories while charging that the high price of Brawny is racist.

Socialism works until you run out of other people’s money. Also other people’s toilet paper factories. And then, just like Cuba, everyone begins using Communist newspapers and the supply of toilet paper is finally assured for the people.

The prices began to rise from .90 CUC to 1.50 CUC (from about $1 USD to $1.65 USD) for a pack of four rolls. Even still, though the price of toilet paper hit 10 percent of a person’s average monthly wage, women continued to buy it. Now we were edging toward the height of a paroxysm.

Then it happened – the price tripled. There was no conciliation or any other options. Now I had to spend 30 percent of my monthly salary on toilet paper if I wanted to maintain my hygiene.

Socialism. It works.

    What a crappy policy.

The illegitimate “president” Maduro is nothing more than a Communist puppet of the Castro brothers in Cuba. Under Maduro and the Chavistas, Venezuela has become a colony of Communist Cuba. The rightful president of Venezuela, Henrique Capriles, needs our help in kicking the Castro regime out of Venezuela and to return democracy to Venezuela.

In that case, I suggest Venezuelans soak their corn cobs to soften them up before they use them, because the toilet paper shortage is about to get a lot worse.

In addition, I believe that it would be interesting for the people here in Front Page Magazine and around the world to know that the dictator and viceroy of the Cuban Raj (that’s the term I use to call Chavista Venezuela, since it is dominated by the Castro dictatorship in Cuba, as well as other Communists), Nicolas Maduro, is not even Venezuelan. He is actually Colombian, both by birth and by heritage. Panama’s former ambassador to the Organization of American States, Guillermo Cochez, has printed and holds in possession a copy of what might be Maduro’s birth certificate from the city of Cucuta in Colombia. Cucuta is located near the border with Venezuela. Carlos Eire has the great story from ABC Spain on Babalu Blog: http://babalublog.com/2013/08/03/birthers-in-caracastan/
In addition to the information listed above, a blog website pertaining to Venezuela has posted more information that shows why Maduro is ineligible to rule and why the Cuban Raj is illegal. Venezuela used to be a fairly nice country, but it’s sure been going down the drain. Yes, sir.
