Daniel, a Panama Canal theory is pie in the sky thinking. Our country have to stop, and shove it in reverse. Adopt Tea Party principles of smaller government, with less regulations, a balanced budget, lower taxes etc. I subscribe to the thoughts and writings of Constitutional lawyer Publius Huldah.

Huldah claims that most of, if not ALL laws and EOs that have been passed, are un Constitutional. Why?...Because the Constitution has an outline of enumerated powers for each of the three branches of a limited government. She writes, that ALL three branches have overstepped their Constitutional enumerated powers of authority. Each branch remain silent, and are allowing the other branches to cheat, while the American people are getting the shaft.

e.g., Law professors are not teaching the Constitution, or the Federalist Papers. They tell their students to read SCOTUS established, case law. In other words, it's NOT what it means, but what we say it means. Better put, the Constitution has been slowly, methodically, and incrementally perverted by the courts.
