Will Israel’s Left Destroy Israel?

2011-israeli-protest-movementThe anniversaries of the Yom Kippur War and the Rabin assassination have come and gone. Both historical events are national traumas laden with ambiguous meanings.

The Yom Kippur War destroyed the political fortunes of Golda Meir and Moshe Dayan and moved Rabin into the big chair. Rabin couldn’t hold on to power as Labor corruption ended the unbroken rule of the left commencing what was effectively fifteen years of rule by the right.

Rabin’s return to power was an equally brief window for the left. Since Peres’ loss to Netanyahu, there has only been one Labor prime minister and he barely lasted two years in office.

From one angle, Israel has emerged out of the shadows of the left. Under conservative governments, it has modernized and innovated. The Israel of the startup probably would not exist if the kibbutz was still a viable proposition. From another angle, Israel is a conservative country in the grip of an unelected left.

The peace process, a desperate attempt by the Labor Party to become relevant again, is headed into its third decade. The casualties of the endless Peace War and the expansion of the enemy’s capabilities to the point that Tel Aviv and Jerusalem have been shelled are all terrible, but they are not the real threat.

The terrorist war against Israel is a war of nerves. It is meant to drain Israel’s energies, to tie it down and make its people and soldiers feel futile and desperate in the face of a threat that can’t be pinned down. These are the same exact tactics being used against the United States. Terrorists are proxy armies. They are not the ultimate threat. They are a strategic means of disabling an enemy before the real attack.

The Yom Kippur War is a reminder that the era of the surprise attack isn’t over and the domestic conflicts over the Peace War, in which the Rabin assassination and its ugly aftermath was only a single episode, are a reminder that Israelis may be quite capable of repeating the follies of history.

The unelected left has become Israel’s albatross, irrelevant but immovable, incapable of adapting and incapable of giving up power. Its leaders have trouble winning elections, but they pervade academia, the media, the judiciary and even the ranks of the top military brass. And they are making it clear that they would rather destroy the country than lose control over it.

It took a united Israel to win the Six-Day War. Labor’s failures in the Yom Kippur War helped destroy it, but the protests against the Lebanon War were its revenge. It would have taken a united Israel to break away from the peace process; but the left was too politically desperate to cling to Rabin’s legacy. And now it is perversely working against any effort to stop Iran out of a reflexive hatred for the right.

The left may not be able to win elections, but it can destroy Israel.

A divided Israel has not been able to break away from the peace process. And it is unable to stop Iran. Netanyahu’s dilemma is not just that he has to convince Obama or dance around him, but that he has to figure out a way to do the same thing for the country’s domestic left whose parliamentary presence is limited, but whose actual obstructive powers are huge. And the left will insist on waiting until the very last second while claiming that Netanyahu is manufacturing a crisis for political advantage until it’s almost too late.

Or until it actually is too late.

The same establishment that was wrong about Turkey and wrong about the Arab Spring insists on sticking to its guns, or lack of guns, when it comes to Iran.

Israel’s left ran out of ideas long ago and runs instead on the recycled effluvia of the European left. It has adopted the conviction of the international left that Israel is always to blame. Except it replaces Israel with its favorite right-wing villains and is surprised every time it is confronted with the fact that the international left doesn’t bother making any fine distinctions between settlers in Ariel and Kochav Yair and between the good Israeli soldiers who will only serve within the Green Line and the bad Israeli soldiers who will serve beyond the Green Line.

With the dogmatic cluelessness of the professional ideologue, much of the Israeli left really believes that it would be able to get along with everyone from Hamas to Baroness Ashton if it wasn’t for the right. It’s a deadly illusion and there is no telling how many more Israelis will have to die before the illusion dies.

The Israeli left has never been willing to believe that it faces an inescapable regional conflict because of matters of religion and race. It thought that it could make common cause with the Arab left. It thought that class mattered more than ethnicity in a region where people kill each over clan honor. It thought that religion would stop mattering in a place where Shiites and Sunnis have been killing each other since the time of Charlemagne.

It was wrong on all these counts. And it has never been able to admit that.

Their only hope was that the Israeli left, like American liberalism, would see an equivalent of the split between fellow travelers and anti-Communist liberals that made a united front against the USSR temporarily possible. There have been occasional signs of such a split. Figures like Benny Morris may be the prototypes of a split over national security and a realistic attitude toward the regional conflict.

But Israel may not have enough time left to evolve its own neo-conservatives. Israel isn’t the United States in 1955. It’s Czechoslovakia in 1938.

The Middle East is changing. Israeli leaders dream of being Singapore, but they’re caught in the middle of a regional ethnic and religious conflict tearing apart the region. And every side in that conflict wants to score political points by destroying Israel.

The Sunnis and Shiites may be more obsessed with killing each other right now, but Jerusalem is still their great prize. Whichever side destroys the Jewish State will be able to claim that Allah has given them a mandate for regional theocracy and empire.

The time is five minutes to midnight. Israel faces serious threats from Iran, its Sunni rivals and their proxy terrorist armies inside and around its borders, but its biggest threat may come from its own left.

That’s a rather surprising description of Israel’s lack of readiness for the war that we all know is surely coming. One would think that being surrounded by tens (or hundreds) of millions of people theologically and ideologically committed to their destruction would inspire a greater sense of urgency and preparedness in the Israeli people.

    • Arf

Thanks Tx for a good post. The Israeli left is not only in DEEP denial, it is willing and happy to sacrifice many of its most loyal and idealistic citizens. The left basically serves as the Judenrot and the kapos of today. In case you are not aware, the Judenrot was the Jewish administration the Nazis put in place to make sure everything the Nazis wanted done was efficiently implemented. The kapos were the Jewish police — corrupt and often brutal. Both thought they would be spared the treatment of their fellow Jews. They were not. When the ghettos were liquidated, the kapos were given a formal thank you speech from the Gestapo and then promptly shot. The Judenrot members were shipped off to concentration camps if they were lucky. Some ended up being beaten to death by the Jews they so cruelly governed and lied to.

Youve made some good points, but more needs to be said. If they can pull their acts together and figure out their identity they can become a superpower.

We all know, no matter what the country (Western), Leftie twats think and behave the same imbecilic way.

  • Hank Rearden

The Left can liquidate a society. It cannot build one. Even the original socialist Israel seized up with corruption. Why the Left thinks what it thinks is a mystery not yet solved. But the Left leads only to devastation because it’s ideas fly in the face of human nature. Perhaps it is as simple as that the Left is full of educated people without any employable skills. However, you rarely, really never, find a big Leftie who walks the walk. You look behind the curtain and they are living large – “for the benefit of the people” of course.

    • sheikyermami

Lefties come with an inbuilt learning disability. They have a total disability to adjust to reality. They see the world not as it is, but as they would like it to be. And they wreck havoc on society to achieve this utopia that inevitably ends in disaster.

  • Mladen_Andrijasevic

This is it. From now on we just sit and wait. PM Netanyahu has told the UN that Iran must totally dismantle its nuclear program or else… Even Ha’aretz has admitted the PM was right on Iran. Most Israelis do not trust Obama on Iran.

    Several puzzling questions remain.

How is it that that the rest of the world does not see what Israel sees? How come they do not see that they too will be the target of a nuclear-armed Iran? How come the Europeans, especially the Brits, seem to have forgotten their own history of appeasement and where it brought them to in the 1930s? Why don’t Americans care that their president is a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood? Why don’t AmericanJews care that their president supports the Muslim Brotherhood? Why are so many people indifferent to the absurd appeasement policies of their governments, policies which will impact their lives… and worse, get them killed?

The answer, of course, is in what Churchill called the confirmed unteachability of mankind. “Want of foresight, unwillingness to act when action would be simple and effective, lack of clear thinking, confusion of counsel until the emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong “

Israel is different. Israel has been the front line on the bloody borders of Islam, both Sunni and Shi’a, in the clash of civilizations, for some time now. Most Israelis have not read Samuel Huntington, Bernard Lewis, nor Winston Churchill. Their insight is purelyempirical. But it makes them see where others are blind.

That is why Israel’s message to the world is – we are not going to get killed because of your stupidity and indifference. We will act. We have no other choice except the choice to defend ourselves or be incinerated.

As we wait for Israel to strike the Iranian nuclear sites…

      Great post!

    • The March Hare

You tend to have a different attitude when the gun is pointed at you.

      • Mladen_Andrijasevic

True, but the gun is pointed at the whole world:

From “Deterrence is Irrelevant” by By ISRAEL KASNETT Jerusalem Post 11/11/2011

Iran is led by a group of irrational men who believe they can hurry the arrival of the Mahdi – the 12th Imam who, according to Shi’ite Islamic tradition, went missing in 874 CE and will return under conditions of global chaos. The Iranian leadership appears willing to sacrifice the population of its own country to achieve this goal.

In his book The Rise of Nuclear Iran, former Israeli ambassador to the UN Dore Gold writes, “Mahdi Khaliji, an Iranian Shi’ite scholar… has noted that there are apocalyptic hadiths [received Shi’ite traditions] that the Mahdi will not return unless one-third of the world population is killed and another third die. But Ahmadinejad and his followers believe man can actively create the conditions for the Mahdi’s arrival in the here and now…”

        • The March Hare

Well, this is true too, but much of the rest of the world is acting as if it isn’t important, whereas Israel sees it different, which was my point.

I don’t know why Israel doesn’t respond in kind. You want to fire a rocket into Israel? Fine, we’ll fire two, prox-fused, 155mm artillery shells into Gaza. Maybe then the government of Gaza will finally be able to do something about the uncontrollable rocket fire that comes from within their borders.

          • Mladen_Andrijasevic

Because Israel does not deliberately attack civilians. Besides, the world opinion is always a few orders of magnitude against Israel and trying to whitewash the real Palestinian motives. The world even protests when Israel targets only terrorists in Gaza on the their way to launch rockets at Israeli cities

          • defcon 4

If firing rockets and mortar rounds into the sovereign state of Israel isn’t an act of war then what is? Who, in their right mind, would believe at this point the islam0fascist lie that the PA can’t control the rocket and mortar fire, or doesn’t know about it? If Israel won’t defend its citizens from islam0fascist rocket attack, then at least give the citizens of Israel the right to defend themselves from islam0fascist rocket attacks.

Wasn’t Iran suppose to have the bomb back in 2007? It seems every few months Israeli intelligence says that Iran is “6 months to a year away from a nuclear bomb”. It still doesn’t have it, even with Obama’s appeasement and the Islamist Winter. Seems there’s nothing to worry about. At this rate, Iran is never going to get around to building a nuclear weapon.

    • truebearing

Iran is working with Obama to get the UN to demand that Israel give up its nukes. That is the ultimate goal of Iran’s new charm offensive. Make Israel look like the warmongers and ultimate threat to world peace, force them to forfeit their security trump card, then attack.

For all of their bluster about their willingness to die, even the Twelvers, or at least their leaders, don’t want to get nuked. They would prefer to trigger the Mahdi’s return with the death and destruction of other people and nations, starting with Israel and the US. If they can leverage Israel into disarming, they can then use their hidden nukes to trigger the Hidden Imam, and suffer no retaliation.

But the US will retaliate, you say? Not if Obama has his way.

    • Taimoor Khan

If Israel has nukes, why can’t Iran? Iran is not an occupying power, which Israel is. It is much more entitled to nudes than Israel. Alas, it fell into the trap by the then American Puppet, Shah, who signed non-nuke agreement; otherwise, Iran would be nuclear like Pakistan.

      • Daniel Greenfield

“Iran is not an occupying power, which Israel is. It is much more entitled to nudes than Israel”

        Apparently it’s not.

“UN “kowtows” to Iran, hides naked carving ahead of nuclear talks”

      • defcon 4

“nudes”? Are you suggesting nudes should be acceptable in the holey islamic “republic” of Iran? Isn’t that un-islamic? What’s your name? I think I need to do my proper islamic duty of kuffars everywhere and report you to the proper Iranian religious authorities.

      • Mladen_Andrijasevic

You write “If Israel has nukes, why can’t Iran?” Because what matters is what you do with them, and Iran will use them undeterred because in contrast to Pakistan, Iran is Shi’a while Pakistan is Sunni and the Shi’a have an eschatology, especially the Twelvers, which renders the mutually assured destruction doctrine obsolete. That is why Iran is so dangerous.

      • Omar

Oh, please, the Shah was not an American puppet. He was a Western ally who was deposed by the Islamist mullahs in Iran because the Shah was secular, pro-Western and because he respected women’s rights, including the right to not wear a veil if the women chose not to. Once the Shah was deposed and the Ayatollah come to power, the real reign of terror began. Did you know that in his first year in power, the Ayatollah jailed political prisoners at 100 times the number of political prisoners under the Shah’s entire rule? If you want to talk about real Middle East puppets, look at Bashar Assad’s father, Hafez Assad, who was a Soviet and a Chinese Communist puppet who ruled Syria with an iron fist. Both the Soviet Union/Modern Russia and Communist China have jailed and killed more innocent civilians in peace time than even the fascists who ruled many parts of Europe before and during World War II. Where is your outrage over the Communist puppet Assad? Also, Israel is not an occupying power. Israel has a right to exist, considering the fact that Jews have continuously lived in the Holy Land for over 3,000 years. The so-called “State of Palestine” is a fictional entity invented by the Soviet Union and its client states like Nasser’s Egypt (Nasser was a Soviet/Chinese Communist puppet). If you want to look at real occupying powers, look at Communist China, which forcefully invaded and occupied Tibet, which was a sovereign nation until Mao Zedong and his Communists forcefully annexed that country in 1950. The Communist invasion resulted in the deaths of over 1.2 million Tibetans, the destruction of ancient Tibetan landmarks, and the Dalai Lama’s forced exile to India, where he has been living there since 1959. The Communist dictatorship in China is responsible for more than 70 million deaths in peace time (under Mao’s rule from 1949 to his death in 1976) as well as countless other deaths since 1976, including the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. Another occupying power in the world was Iraq under Saddam Hussein, who in 1990, decided to forcefully invade and occupy the small country of Kuwait. It took several months and an international coalition to defeat Saddam’s forces and to force him out of Kuwait. Besides aggressive actions by Communist China and Saddam’s Iraq regarding Tibet and Kuwait, respectively, why don’t you condemn the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979? You don’t condemn any of the aggressive invasions above because you support them. You support all of the above (except for the international coalition’s defensive action in Kuwait) because you are an anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, anti-Tibetan, anti-democracy, anti-human rights, anti-freedom, pro-Soviet, pro-Chinese Communist, pro Baathist, pro Communist totalitarian and pro-Islamist Stalinist/Maoist. Taimoor Khan, quit repeating Stalinist/Maoist/Islamist propaganda and learn from facts.

Spot on, writer is charitable man, the Israeli Left is much more sinister, he did not for example have the space to list all the traitors who spied against Israel, every single traitor was a lefty, he did not touch at all the Jewish Agency concept of “Selection”, during and after the war, wishing to absorb only young abled-bodied Socialists, who will vote-Left, as told. He never touched on the visceral ahtred they Left had towards other Jews, Orthodox, Zionists (Capitalists), former Irgun members (Revisionists of Herust-Menahem Begin followers), who were depicted by a loyal press, providing a wall of sound for the Labor party of Ben Gurion and its 2 other parasitic Left (more Stalinist), smaller parties (Mapam, Achdut-HaAvoda), their destructive policies, their stealing of public wealth, choking the economy during the first 30 years, establishing a nightmare of benign Stalinist bureaucracy, filled with regulators, enshrining a atmosphere of freeloading. He did not explain who instituted martial law over the Arab population after 1948 and how suddenly it is Labor who is championing the Arab cause, he did not explain the Lavon affair, the collapse of the high command before June 1967, sudden appointment of Dayan, the years of hubris before 1973, leading to the Labor last “victory”, he did not touch on the racist policies of Labor, the attitude toward the ChachChaim, all part of Israeli political life, which cast an ugly shadow over labor leaders, who in each crisis pretended like Obama that they were not responsible, I was not there, somebody else did it…so thank you for putting it in perspective

True Leftists can divorce themselves from wanton materialist impulses, which the Israeli so-called Left is unable to do, by definition, in that they continue to identify themselves as “Israeli” and claim stolen land (historical Palestine) as their own. I bet you would support Communist Cuba’s occupation of the United States in the event that it might happen one day.

Israeli Arabs elect politicians to the Israeli parliament who openly side with terrorist organizations. Hanin Zuabi, an Israeli Arab member of Knesset from the Israeli Arab “Balad” party was aboard “Mavi Marmara”, the Turkish ship that attempted to break the blockade of Gaza. She was filmed with the Turkish terrorists, singing Death to the Jews. The leader of Balad, Azmi Bashara, spied for Hizballah and later defected to Qatar. Yet both Hanin Zuabi and the “Balad” party remain in the Israeli parliament. Now, what Muslim country would tolerate the Jewish minority party that openly sides with the enemies of that country? Let’s make it simpler: what Muslim countries currently have minority JewishChristianBahai parties in their parliaments (other than Lebanon where Christians were majority not so long ago)?

          • Taimoor Khan

            Shame!!! From horse’s own mouth:

“Discrmination against Israeli Arabs still Rampant”

            Now what???

          • Daniel Greenfield

And yet Muslim Arab settlers stay in Israel despite this discrimination, while Christians and Jews flee Muslim lands

Clearly life in Israel is better for Muslims than life in the Muslim world is for Christians and Jews

          • defcon 4

Christians, Jews, Baha’i, Druze. Really, anyone who isn’t a muslime troglodyte would be happier in Israel, the only state worth visiting in the islamic wasteland that is the Mid-East and N. Africa.

          • defcon 4

Is that bitch still in the Knesset? Even after her traitorous rant?

        • Omar

The so-called “Palestinians” are an invented people. The so-called “nationality” was invented by your favorite Communist regime, the Soviet Union/Russia. Your favorite Islamist terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad promote terrorism, racism, sexism, bigotry, genocide, Sharia law and totalitarianism. By the way, the father of so-called “Palestinian” nationalism, Hajj Amin Al-Husseini (who was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem), was a friend of Hitler and a Nazi ally who went to Berlin to meet with the genocidal dictator to plan death camps for Jews in the Middle East. Quit repeating leftist/Islamist lies and propaganda and learn from facts. Here is a reality check: http://www.standwithus.com/

You are beyond insane. Somebody needs a trip to the psychiatrist. For the record, Israel promotes peace, tolerance, freedom and democracy, while the Islamists promote everything you just stated on your post. Get a reality check before you post your Islamist hate rant.

  • defcon 4

    Bring back the Kach party.

    • Omar

I don’t think that would be wise for Israel. The Kach Party hated innocent Arab civilians almost as much as radical Islamists hate Israel. I oppose Islamist aggression against Israel and other free world countries, but we shouldn’t fight hate with hate. Even Likud doesn’t like Kach’s extremism.

      • defcon 4

“…shouldn’t fight hate with hate.” What do you suggest, a big group hug? Everyone gather around the campfire and sing Kumbaya? Were the nazis who didn’t take part in the Holocaust
innocent? If the islamic world didn’t support terrorism, it wouldn’t be commonplace. If the islamic world didn’t support the persecution of non-muslims, it wouldn’t be happening in every islamic state on the face of this earth.

  • ralphie44

Israel will never be destroyed as a nation. God will not allow it. Try as they may the Islamist will be the ones that are utterly destroyed along with any other nation that joins in the effort to destroy Israel.

  • Taimoor Khan

Don’t know if it’s left or right, or center, but Israel is on the road to destruction given its policies of oppression and occupation of other people’s land. It can never sustain this.

Yes, it HAS to live with Hamas, and Palestinians at large, otherwise, the settlers can always go back to whence they came from – Russia, Africa, Poland, India, and what not – and live with their old neighbors. Palestinians did not send them a letter of invitation, did they? .

Palestinians accepted the two-state settlement despite them giving their historical land to settlers in the shape of Israel, but the greed of marauding settlers is too much to satisfy. And THIS is what will cause their destruction, God Willing.

    • Daniel Greenfield

Or the Muslim settlers could just go back to Saudi Arabia. Israel didn’t send them an invitation.

      • Taimoor Khan

Israel didn’t exist before European settlers came, pal. They could send no invitation even if they wanted. All local Palestinians existed prior to any settler state’s creation, and they first and foremost right to the land. Polish and Russian settlers should go back.

        • Daniel Greenfield

          Israel didn’t exist?

So what land did Dawud and Suleiman rule over?

Were they kings of Israel or Palestine?

        • defcon 4

I believe the holey books of islam even refer to Israel as being the homeland of the Jewish people.

        • Omar

Israel most certainly did exist before the Islamists arrived in the Holy Land. Islamists had no right to be in Sudan, though. Why don’t you condemn the Islamist genocide of black African Christians in Sudan (remember Darfur?)? You don’t condemn Islamist-made genocide because you support them. Democracy, human rights and freedom contradict your Communist/Islamist-friendly values.

The Israeli left as well as Jewish leftists the world over make a great case in believing in the concept of the “erev rav”. The “erev rav” were the no goodniks who came out of Egypt with the other Israelities and who have caused nothing but trouble in every generation since.

Thus says The Lord God: Weep, O nations! Cry, all peoples! The Lord has lifted up His voice, and His face is set hard against you!…

O mighty and perverse nations, you shall be forsaken and left utterly desolate!… IN RUINS! Says The Lord God of Hosts. No more shall you contend with Me in your uplifting, in your upholding, of all this wickedness!… YOU HAVE FORSAKEN ME! No more shall you stand there before My face, with your noses in the air!

Behold, even My own people go the way of the afflicted of sin,
Following after those desolate of the Spirit
Who remain married to this world…

Yet I shall save them out of all their troubles!

For My own name’s sake will I do it!…

    For the sake of Judah, I will cover them;
    For the sake of Jacob, I shall hold them in safety;
And for the sake of David, My servant, I shall gather them under My wing.

O city of David, My Jerusalem, give Me glory! For The Lord has seen your travail, for it has come. Yet it shall not stand, for you are Mine… I am married unto you! Vengeance is Mine! Says The Lord. And I, Myself, shall go before you and fight against them!
And those who devise evil against you shall be thrown down! They shall not stand! For they have agreed together as one, and as one shall their agreement be turned into death… The grave shall be their reward! Recompense, in full, shall I give them in My hot displeasure! In My fury I shall destroy them!… Save a sixth part who shall not be counted among the condemned, the punished of My anger, says The Lord.

    Beloved of The Shepherd, this you shall see;
Lo, you shall behold it with your own eyes…

And shortly thereafter, you and yours shall be no more in the earth.

“With the dogmatic cluelessness of the professional ideologue, much of the Israeli left really believes that it would be able to get along with everyone from Hamas to Baroness Ashton if it wasn’t for the right. It’s a deadly illusion and there is no telling how many more Israelis will have to die before the illusion dies.”

One of the most insightful observations I have ever read. As someone who has experienced the likes of Baroness Ashton and Judith Butler up close and personal I can assure any Israeli that the formers’ enmity towards Israel and “Zionists” is utterly implacable. No concessions will ever satisfy them.

If Israel withdrew to the Green Line tomorrow, the big, pressing, all-important, issue would instantly become the “right of return” for millions of so-called Palestinians into what remained of Israel. To her (relative) credit I believe that Butler subscribes to the “one state” solution, ie demographically drown the Jewish component living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea with “Palestinians” and thereby extinguish the Jewish state. If there are people on the Israeli Left who support this idea and believe it represents any sort of future for a democratic and prosperous modern state … God help their poor children.

Anybody who can’t, in light of what happened after Israel’s unilateral withdrawal from southern Lebanon and then from Gaza, foresee that there would be no let up from Israel’s opponents if Israel withdrew from the West Bank (including the Old City) is simply deluded. For decades in the West Israel’s “brutal occupation” of Gaza and the building of settlements within it was the emblem of grotesque unjustifiable Israeli oppression. So Israel leaves, uproots settlements and absolutely nothing changes. No kudos. Just more international brickbats. And local rockets. Israel’s opponents simply move to the next item on the agenda.

The existence of Israel is the irritant. Just as it was 1948-67. Just as the Yishuv was 1918-47. Until one understands this, one understands nothing about the Arab-Israeli conflict.

    • Daniel Greenfield

They hate Israel more than they love the “Palestinians”. Their love for them is really hate for Israel and Jews.

      • defcon 4

I wonder if Jew hatred isn’t a necessary part of islamic theology? After all, why would the most perfect and holey man in all of islam have innocent people slaughtered, enslaved and expelled en mass? And if he’s wrong, well then, the whole house of cards might just fall down along with it.

        • Daniel Greenfield

Quite true. And the existence of Jews points out that Islam is a sham.

The shortage of non-Jewish prophets in Islam is already theologically problematic

scripture declares all of israel will be saved.
However that needs clarifying in the text in which surrounds that.
Approx 2/3rd of Israel will be destroyed according to the scriptures in the big finale.
Yahweh is in control of all things.
He says do not worry for you can not add one day or hour to your life.
Do not fear, for I shall never leave you.
    Fear is of the devil.
    Come Lord Jesus
when all the gentiles have come in then the end will be upon this world.
hallelujah for how great is Yahweh.

non israeli readers should keep in mind that at some point in time many if not most of the israelis were willing to accept territorial concessions in return for peace. we are sober now. most of us.
we r doomed to fight never ending war unless we will commit suicide or forced to by the HUSSEIN in the white house.
currently the term “leftist” in israel is almost a curse in terms of our relationship with the arabs.
when Sweden or Norway are so brave in their push for peace in the ME i see it as somebody willing to gamble with someone else wallet.

  • Dafna Yee

The danger from the left is more immediate than Iran. It has expressed itself in Netanyahu agreeing that Abbas is a “peace partner,” agreeing that the “West Bank” is “occupied,” adopting the Left’s “two-state solution,” and agreeing that releasing terrorists from Israeli jails is part of a “peace process” all of which only exists in the Left’s imagination and is destroying Israel today!!

I have had friends and family in the past that have said look at what Jews are doing to America. I try to explain that for every Dershowitz there is a Norman Finkelstein, but they don’t care. It’s not the Jews, it’s the liberals. As evidenced by the fact that Israel itself is in danger by these illogical freaks. The Jews voted more for Romney than the Hispanics, Asians, and certainly the blacks.

Israel – In order to consider a new negotiations
    with the Arab-Palestinians

First thing, let us see the
Arab Palestinians stop teaching their children and the masses to commit terror
and violence. Stop rewarding terrorists, stop funding terrorists families, stop
naming streets after terrorists. Declare and practice that terror and violence
is unacceptable. We need to see a change in attitude towards terror and a true
and honest pursuit of peace and coexistence.

You can accomplish more with honey than with vinegar.

If that is not possible than
    there will never be peace.

A true peace will be a blessing and an economic prosperity to all concerned.
