If the Republican Party follows what Richard Grenell says, then 2012 will be repeated and the GOP will lose in 2016. What Grenell advocates is what Romney did, and Romney lost. Why repeat failure? What is needed is a broad Reaganite message of economic conservatism, social conservatism and pro-military national security conservatism (which does not mean NSA excessive surveillance). The Reaganite message is what is needed to defeat, at an ideological level, Obama socialism, Obama foreign policy weakness and a libertine culture that the Left controls. And yes, I do mean that being pro-life and pro-traditional marriage are part of a winning message. Remember that the last time a Republican candidate for President won New York was Ronald Reagan, not any of the more moderate GOP candidates. The same is true of California. Those who talk moderate mush at FOX News, such as Grenell, are doing a disservice to the GOP.

Rove didn't disbelieve the polls, he completely believed them but insisted that the turn out would be at 2008 levels among Republicans. He was stunned because the people he berated and ignored, the Tea Party and the libertarians, stayed home.

Romney actually won the "centrist" vote. He lost the Republican base.

A "Tea Party" candidate is the only hope the Republicans have of winning but since Reince Priebus and Insiders (sounds like a 60's rock group) think that only a "centrist" can win the Republicans will go down again in 2016.

Romney was a mistake to begin with ....if Republicans care to repeat that [ by picking another loser] ....so be it ......then it will be Hillary for sure . There are more Centrists in this country than you realize , and they do not publicize their choice in polls, they do it at the ballot booth . Ruin a Tea party Candidate and you'll guarantee a Democratic victory . Rove got shocked on election night , he shouldn't have , but he believed the polls . Romney was such an obviously wrong choice , it forced a vote for Obama .

There is no such thing as the “Tea Party” TEA was a grassroots movement of people believing in the Constitution, rule of law, fair representation, and limited government; who rallied around the slogan Taxed Enough Already. If you abandon the “Tea Party”, you are actually abandoning the “conservative” ideas they not only espouse - but have the courage to be counted for. The reason so many are through with the Republican party, is because of the Republican party and their stalwart supporter’s willingness to scrap any principle in order to pander to special interest groups to get REPUBLICANS elected. For what? To offer the same-o-same-o with a Republican twist?

Pat Cadell is a Democrat strategist who has played one of the slickest political cons of the last 30 years. It is amazing the number of Republicans and “conservatives who are dazzled by Cadell because he bad-mouths Obama. It would be amusing to listen in on conversations between Cadell and Carville as they laugh about the gullible naivety of the opposition.

How much did Reed and Grenell leave out? They paint a rosy picture for the GOP future, but is it realistic?

-- How many folks are there that have totally given up on Republicans and will never cast a vote for one again? The number is growing due to the dominance of the RINO establishment leadership quislings that are not going away any time soon.

-- Conservatives are sick to death of voting against the Democrat rather than for the Republican.

-- If in the unlikely event of a GOP takeover of the Senate, who could trust the RINO leadership to actually take a REAL fight to the finish death match attitude toward the Democrats? Example:

-- Minority Leader McConnell has already pledged to pull the plug on the “nuclear option” should he take command of the Senate. This is strong conservative leadership? No will whatsoever to defeat the Democrats.
NONE!

-- The Democrats are not going to go down easy. They, being sociopaths all, have no conscience and will not hesitate to pull out all the stops to steal any future elections. Need examples?

-- Ever hear of SCYTL?

-- And http://www.nationalpopularvote.com/ ?

-- Black Panther intimidation. Not a single vote for Romney in how many Pennsylvania viable precincts in 2012? No IDs for illegals, of course (not that it matters in Dem controlled precincts).

-- Why do you think Harry Reid went the “nuclear” route? Uhhhh, maybe to install judges that will be certain to rule for Democrats in contested elections? As many contested elections as are needed to get the wins, of course. Whatever it takes. The end always justifies the means.

-- And all the regular corruption we are all well aware of already.

-- Among all GOP candidates, just how many will be more of the same? How many RINO establishment types will run unopposed by a genuine conservative grassroots FIGHTER? How many voters would know the difference or care to dump the RINO?

-- Ralph Reed spoke about standing up to the Leftist media whores (my words, folks). He neglected to mention an obvious tactic called ”Pin the Marxist tail on the Democrat media donkey.” Speak the damned truth! Say they are radicals like the Democrats they support. Say that they are biased and have an obvious ideological agenda. Why give them a pass in any way? Well, … this will never happen, folks. None of it.

Not enough space here to begin to tell the whole story of how the GOP has sold us all out. After 60+ years of Republican duplicity, cowardice, compromise, and collaboration, is it realistic to entertain any thought at all that the GOP will EVER return real fire, that is, make war on the radical communist owned and controlled Democrats that make war on you, me, them and our nation as a whole?

If you want something done, if you want this country brought back to sanity, if you want your children to live in a country free from the current Marxist death grip, the states will have to do it, folks. Washington DC is broken and will NEVER be fixed by fixing itself!

Over 50% of them are vacant. We show up, we own the party.

Also agree with Cadell, they will never embrace the Tea Party, we have to let that hope go and embrace the reality we must remake the party.

forget all this useless blather and foam from the mouth .....the ONLY hope the Republicans have in 2016 is CHRISTIE . If he doesn't run or get the nomination , you'll all be cursing Clinton for 4 years . And I would qualify that by specifying , if Christie doesn't get stupid and does a McCain and chooses a moron to be one heart beat away from his presidency .

Got it. Messaging, messaging, messaging. Engage the... Present a dynamic... Mobilize... Grassroots...

The bottom line is that Venezuela, which was a fairly nice country not too long ago, got itself thoroughly wrapped in the comminist cocoon trap and now can't find the will or the way to fight it's way out. Venezuela is tottering on a crumbling foundation today.

Meanwhile, here in the US, the people are not intrinsically brighter, and no longer much more accustomed to freedom, and are being similarly led. Obama and Maduro are doing the same thing: purging military, nationalizing business sectors, and -- now -- purging justices.

But the bottom line is, if we don't have blue thumbs and countable ballots, none of this makes a whit of difference. When you see 125, 150, or 175% of precincts turn out to vote for a democrat, and the democrat gets sworn in, you KNOW there's unchecked voter fraud. Just like the comedian that won his first Senate seat six years ago. And when the leftist polls forecast overwhelming leads by the democrats, and then the fraud machine eeks them out a win, the pundits say: Well, this is just what the polls showed! (I think I know why Karl Rove was so flabbergasted when Obama won in 2012.) And now the European electronic voting machine company that is slated to record voting in the US was bought by a US company, then Soros bought up some Microsoft stock, and now Microsoft bought the company. So the indomitable Soros is a shareholder in the voting machine company. Once votes are tallied by a computer program, there is no accountablility at all for a meaningful count. And when results are separated from the individual act of voting by a computer program, there can be no expectation of a meaningful recount. And then, no matter how wild and unreasonable the outcome, the results will reflect the previous contrived pollling.
Like the EMP symposium demonstrated here on Frontpage, planning can't mitigate the catastrophic threat from the sun if nothing is ever done. Likewise, campaigning can't change an election so long as the votes are prearranged.

Republican leadership is Democrat fodder and Democrats are now
a mix of Communist and Socialist anti-American freeloaders. The
working tax payers of America that build homes and families in
the attempt at a decent safe life are raped financially by political
thugs from the left and do nothing politicians called Republicans.
The tea party a party of mostly average American citizens that pay
all of the bills and are the backbone of America are saying enough
to the professional politicians and scammers. Real people representing
real people must be the way of restoration if not salvation of American
freedom and the ability to continue as a Nation without internal strife
which brings about civil war. Vote conservative and conserve the
future for our posterity or see separate States in conflict and observe
the ensuing mayhem the enemies of America within are building
through the Obama debauchery and criminal falsehood in every
aspect of our lives, re electing no professional politician is easier
