Senator Sessions Throws Down the Gauntlet

jeff-sessionsA statement from Senator Sessions:

The President said he has not heard any good reason to oppose the Senate bill. Clearly, he has not listened to the ICE and USCIS officers warning that the bill would permanently undermine enforcement. Here are three more reasons: the Senate bill will lower wages, increase unemployment, and reduce per-capita GNP. All of these statements are confirmed by the Congressional Budget Office. Under current law, we will provide approximately 10 million grants of permanent residency (green cards) over the next decade. Under the Senate bill, that number will triple to more than 30 million. Further, the Senate bill would double the number of guest workers at a time when a record 90 million Americans are outside the work force. We need to get Americans off of unemployment, off of welfare, and back into the labor force — but the ‘reforms’ proposed by the Senate would put even more Americans out of work.

Many of the same CEOs demanding that Congress increase guest workers are laying off thousands of American workers.  This is a defining moment for the House Republicans. They must decide who they represent: certain activist CEOs lobbying Congress, or the national interest and the millions of Americans struggling to get by in this low job, low wage economy.

Everyone in Congress (who wants the new Democratic vote) & Main Street (who wants more profits from cheaper labor) knows this. They’re just hoping that Joe Public are too distracted by their iPhones, that they’re not paying attention. We add 20 million, then all the anchor babies soon to follow, add the parents & sibling that didn’t make it across & soon to follow the cousins & in-laws that will now know where there’s a place to flop. The border will never be secured. No one in power wants it. Take a trip to a border town to envision what your city or town will look like in 15-20 years.

Just look at it this way,the Native Americans of Mexico are returning to their home range. After the Democrats get their new voters and the Wall Streeters get their cheap labor the only folks with jobs to buy stuff will be Politicians and Government workers. I suppose the silver lining in all of this will be those who work will pay 65% of their income in taxes to support all the unemployed. Then there is that pesky health insurance they will have to buy.

Those folks from Mexico are not native to here. Mexico go it’s name from the Spanairds and when the Western US became the US NO ONE was forced to move South of the Rio Grande. The reason the Spanairds were willing to sell the Gadsen Purchase to us was they could not get anyone to settle the SW. Only 1% of California’s population back then was the Spanairds.

BS… there has been no such thing! Romney is the epitome of labor relations in the GOP

        • veeper

          silly…

Romney didn’t even run his own campaign….

just what to expect from a leftist MORON, blame those not in power for the problems created by this administration. Seems you have learned that trick well from your Teflon, mobster community organizer, the caliphate resident of the white house.

so, genius, when will the caliphate be held accountable for ANYTHING? oh, that’s right, he like you only just learned about it by watching TV. drop dead.

if they can’t get what they want – just change the electorate. Sounds like the Magnate who decided to import chinese laborers and pit them against the Irish to build the railroad. It is just a big game to these clowns. We are just pawns in their little game. Well, if money is speech, so is the money i spend on a pitchfork.

Heresy I tell you… damn Senator Sessions for telling the truth. of course Democrats get what they want out of the bill… more government dependency and poor people. Democrats love the poor which is why they design policy to create more of them.

Why haven’t we had the CCC by now? It worked in my home town, the whole culinary watershed was created by the CCC. People didn’t go hungry and they could provide for their family.

    • veeper

haven’t had it now because welfare and food stamps don’t require you to work or even get out of bed….

a much better deal…..the slaves are not going back to work after being handed a middle class lifestyle while watching TV and sleeping….

Citizens have lots of time to ponder the treason of Democrats and business while sitting in ever worsening traffic jams caused by increasing population via immigration. How many make this connection, or the connection between ever worsening suburban spawl and massive immigration? It is a cancer devouring our beloved country.

Thank God for the few good men like Cruz, Lee, Sessions, sometimes Rand Paul & Marco Rubio, etc.

    • keyesforpres

Rubio? He led the charge for amnesty. He LIED to get elected. He was a huge pro illegal supporter in the Florida legislature. Rand supports amnesty too. He voted “yes” on cloture on the Gang of 8 bill. That was a yes vote to bring it to the floor. He simply voted “no” in the end because he knew it would pass.
