stThe American Freedom Alliance is hosting a major international conference on June 9-10 focused on the future of Europe to be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. The conference, which is titled Europe’s Last Stand? Debt Demography and the Abandonment of National Sovereignty, is designed to determine the course of Europe and the impact that this direction might have upon the United States.  It will feature Geert Wilders, George Gilder, Daniel Pipes and Robert Spencer  among 20 other speakers from around the world. Details on the conference can be found HERE.

We have with us today Avi Davis, the President of the American Freedom Alliance and the man who conceived the conference and is its organizer.

FP: Avi Davis, welcome to Frontpage Interview.

Tell us about your conference. Who is joining and why were they invited?

Davis: Geert Wilders, the prominent Dutch politician, who has been prosecuted for criticizing Islam,  George Gilder, the renowned economic thought leader, Daniel Pipes, Middle East commentator and Robert Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch will all be with us, together with a roster of 20 other speakers drawn from around the world. All were invited because of their expertise one of three main issues of the conference:  the Euro Crisis, the  demographic and ethnic threats to mainstream European society and the seeming abandonment of national sovereignty by many European countries

FP: What motivated you to organize this conference at this time?

Davis: AFA had already held two conferences on the fate of Europe – in 2007 at Pepperdine University and in 2008 at the University of Rome. We focus on Europe because we believe  that of the two major arms of Western civilization it is the weaker, with far greater structural and systemic problems than the United States. In the past 18 months the Euro Crisis raised an entirely new view of Europe – that its monetary system has been established on a very narrow foundation and that its collapse could imperil the West. This, together with continuing evidence that Muslim immigrants in many European countries might never be integrated into mainstream European society and the continuing riots, terror and protests emerging from those communities contributed to our sense that it was time to revisit the issue of Europe’s longevity as a bastion of representative government and liberal democracy.
FP: What do you hope to achieve with this conference?
Davis:  Europe has always operated as a bellwether for the United States and many of  the political, social and cultural trends on the continent can often be seen developing here.  Certainly the Obama Administration’s policies in health care, immigration and taxation bear an unmistakable European stamp.  But as the European Union totters on its financial foundation and European countries seem helpless to stem the tide of Muslim separatism, it is time for us here in United States to recognize that we cannot repeat Europe’s mistakes – for without question they are threatening the future of liberal democracy.  The conference is designed to address the problems of Europe as they apply to the United States – a very valuable thing in a time of great instability.

FP: Can people attend? Where can they get some information and register?

Davis:  Yes, its open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the Conference website.

People can come for one day or both days.   There are also two other great features of the weekend.

The first is a premiere U.S. screening of a daring documentary by an Israeli investigative reporter who dares to enter into some of the most dangerous Muslim enclaves on the continent.  His reporting delivers a very grim picture of Muslim restiveness in Europe and the failures of European societies to address Muslim separatism.  That screening will take place at the InterContinental Hotel on Sunday, June 9 at 7: 30 pm. We hope to be joined by video link with the producers and director of the documentary.  Your readers can find information about the screening at AmericanFreedomAlliance.org.

The second is the June installment of our Literary Cafe, which will feature two experts on the threats represented to Islam by the West: Robert Spencer and  Stephen Coughlin who will address the topic The West’s Confrontation with Islam at a private home in Westwood.  All  the details for that event can be found at AmericanFreedomAlliance.org.

FP: Avi Davis, thank you for joining Frontpage Interview. Good luck on your event!

far from not wanting to emulate the demise of europe obama is in fact engineering and encouraging the hastened demise of the usa as we know it
along the very lines europe is now experiencing.
socialism and welfare are the flourishing result of his policies.
debt and spending are out of control and unemployment is far worse than the
    massaged official figures show.
many more millions of americans are surviving on food stamps and many cities are bankrupt.
revolution is around the corner as the pressure mounts and the constitution is eroded in favor of sharia law.

It would appear that a small minority of radical Muslims are at the point of conquering Europe without firing a shot. How could this happen? Something is seriously amiss, to say the least. ;-)

Something will happen soon. I analyzed this in National Wave of Foolishness, volume 2:

1 “And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince
of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O
Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:
4 and I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will
bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of
them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield,
    all of them handling swords;
    5 Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
6 Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost
parts of the north, and all his hordes; even many peoples with thee.”
    —Ezekiel 38:1-6 (ASV)

These events must happen soon. Prophecy gives which nations, listed by
their forefathers, must make these campaigns take place. Neither the
ethnic Europeans of the west and central Europe nor the Russians
will be able to do it within in two generations, tops, perhaps even
one generation, because their birthrates are so low. Their native
    populations are crashing.

The EU is in the process of being taken over by Islamic minorites from Africa and Turkey— Ishmaelites, Edomites and Beth Togarmahites, respectively— due to their high birth rates, much like the U.S. is being taken over by Mexico’s 60+ million illegals and their explosive birthrate..

The Netherlands is already 10% Islamic and that number is rising fast.
Germany has more. The Slavic nations of the CIS who are descended
from Magog, Meschech and Tubal will shortly be overwhelmed by Turkic
peoples descended from Beth Togarmah. Prophecy does not state that
Ishmaelites/Edomites and Beth Togarmahites come from Europe. Nor does
it say that Beth Togarmah comes alone or nearly alone from the
uttermost north, either. Ezekiel 38 states “Gomer, and all his
hordes”, so Gomer must still be around. That won’t be much
longer with the trends of the last 30 years. Something has to happen
    soon.”
