The Shroud of Trayvon

trayvon-hoodie-smithsonianJust when you think the left can’t possibly get more unhinged about the shooting of black Trayvon Martin, the next step in his beatification is getting underway: the hoodie he died in may be acquired for the Smithsonian Institution. This not only will imbue it with an historical civil rights significance, which it has not earned, but will practically accord it the status of a religious relic.

The Washington Post reported last week that Lonnie Bunch, director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC, now under construction and expected to open in 2015), wants to add the hoodie to a collection that includes a guard tower from Louisiana’s Angola State Penitentiary and the handcuffs used to restrain President Obama’s buddy, radical academic Henry Louis Gates Jr., in a 2009 incident which Obama himself blew up into a racial flashpoint. You may recall that, like with the Martin shooting, Obama chose to weigh in officially on this incident, which should have been far below the concerns of a president of the United States. He needlessly inflamed racial tensions when he stated incorrectly that the police acted “stupidly” in arresting Gates, who also milked the incident for all the racial mileage he could get.

Bunch told the Post that the hoodie “became the symbolic way to talk about the Trayvon Martin case. It’s rare that you get one artifact that really becomes the symbol… Because it’s such a symbol, it would allow you to talk about race in the age of Obama.”

Actually, it is precisely the nature of the hoodie’s irrational power that it derails honest discussion about race in “the age of Obama.” Draping itself in the shroud of Trayvon and clinging to a false narrative of racial grievance, the left feels no obligation to face facts about the case or to engage in any self-examination about the state of race in America today; instead they simply wave the hoodie as a symbol of the race war they imagine the White Power Structure is waging against blacks.

“I get goose bumps just thinking about it,” says Michael Skolnik, the political director for hip-hop mogul and demagogue Russell Simmons (if you’re wondering why a hip hop mogul needs a political director, it’s because in “the age of Obama,” the unprecedented White House access given to such wealthy pop culture blacks like Simmons and Jay-Z also gives them enormously swollen egos). Skolnick is also a board member of the Trayvon Martin Foundation. “It’s like this mythical garment,” he says about the hoodie. Mythical? The myth is that Trayvon was an innocent child victimized in a modern-day lynching at the hands of (according to the left) half-white vigilante gun nut George Zimmerman.

Like Bunch and Skolnick, shameless race-baiter Al Sharpton, who has tirelessly exploited the Zimmerman-Martin case, would like to elevate Martin to “this generation’s Emmett Till” – a disgusting comparison – and the hoodie is central to that goal. “The hoodie now represents an image of an urban street kid that either embraces or engages in street thug life,” said Sharpton. “I think it’s unfair.”

It’s not unfair, it’s understandable. The utopian fantasists of the left refuse to acknowledge this, but judging strangers based on their appearance is a reasonable and natural act of self-preservation. Considering that hoodies are the uniform of choice for gangsta-wannabes, Occupy Wall Street vandals, and others who need a reason to partially conceal their identity, that article of clothing cannot escape its association with thugs. If you don’t want to be viewed with suspicion, don’t dress or act suspiciously. Dress like a prospect, not a suspect, as the saying goes.

A hoodie, of course, is only as suspicious as the person wearing it. My three-year-old daughter wears one herself when it suits the weather, and no one gives it a second thought because no one has anything to fear from a three-year-old girl. However, when a young man, regardless of color, wears a hoodie in such a way that his identity is partially or completely obscured, it is natural and right that people view him with some measure of caution.

The hoodie has already served as an important symbol for the left, who Photoshopped Martin Luther King, Jr. into photos of Martin’s hoodie, making a false equivalence between the two. Protesters wear hoodies in solidarity with Martin, as do scowling celebrities like another rap mogul, Sean Combs, and Hollywood’s most blatant racist, Jamie Foxx.

“Are we in a post-racial age?” museum director Bunch pondered. “[The Zimmerman] trial says, ‘No.’” True, America is definitely not in a post-racial age, thanks to Obama, but the trial is not evidence of that. In fact, the trial was a perfect example of a post-racial legal system in action, in that the jurors came to their “not guilty” judgment based on the evidence, and did not succumb to tremendous media and public pressure to convict Zimmerman for racial reasons. Even an FBI investigation into Zimmerman’s possible racial motivation came up empty. The verdict was the correct one but not the one the left wanted to hear, so evidence be damned – they wanted Zimmerman to pay for historical racial grievances for which he is not responsible.

The NMAAHC’s mission statement claims that “this institution will stimulate a dialogue about race and help to foster a spirit of reconciliation and healing.” But Trayvon Martin’s hoodie will not foster that spirit; it will only divide us in the future as it has thus far. If it deserves a spot in the Smithsonian at all, it should not be as an emblem of white America’s ingrained racism toward blacks, but as a symbol of the left’s ingrained grievance-mongering and their refusal to embrace responsibility and reconciliation.

The front of his pants are wet from the knees down, which consistent with the testimonies of Zimmerman and the eyewitness that Martin was straddling Zimmerman in the wet grass. Trevon Martin’s case is in no way a parallel to Emmet Till, Emmit Till’s only “crime” was being black and whistling at a white women. He was also all of about 12 or 13 years old not 18, and was from Chicago visiting his relatives in Mississippi. But in Mississippi back in 1956 that was more then enough justification for a group of racist thugs to spend two days hunting him down and abducting him at gunpoint from his Uncle’s house in the middle of the night.
The case has never been solved, here you have a case of kidnapping, torture, and murder, the suspects were never charged and got away scott free thanks to a prejudicial justice system. If the race baiters wont to bring someone to justice there is a good place to start, not an obvious self defense case where the survivor’s only problem was that he wasn’t coloured enough in this ridiculous game of politically correct poker. Meanwhile we have black criminals killing other blacks by the thousands in Democrat run cities like Detroit and Chicago.

    • CowboyUp

I thought it was solved, and the thugs admitted to it after they were acquitted. It’s a disgusting insult to the memory of Emmet Till that he’s being compared with Martin by a bunch of crooks and fools.

      • JDinSTL

It merely ensures that when real racists show up, no one will pay any attention.

      • tagalog

I believe that one person did acknowledge killing Emmett Till after the murder. But I don’t think there was a trial.

      • Cold_Drake_80

Their was a trial. It was such a joke it generated a huge amount of outrage. The lesson here is NEVER trust anything posted by a good FPMer.

        • Boots

Like you trolls and good comrades on the left never make mistakes or even just make stuff up to support whatever you want to believe? Seriously… the issue here is in the author’s opinion there is no legitimate comparison between Till and Martin. Rather than address whether you agree with that or not (and if you disagree factually why) you just attack FPM. Go back to troll land and take a few more hits of your bong if you can’t constructively educate us.

          • Cold_Drake_80

            I was addressing this point:

“There was no trial in the Emmett Till case.”

This doesn’t indicate a difference of opinion. This is demonstrably WRONG. It is also put forth as support for the claim of Till be a worthy victim while Martin wasn’t. Right-wingers seem to think they are the ones who can decide who is and isn’t worthy of victim status based on their own extremist views. I’m sure if FPM were around in the days of the Emit Till murder its “coverage” would take a similar slant as their efforts concerning the Martin murder.

Were the cases different? Of course only idiots and FPMers would refuse to see that. However, the controversy surrounding what is seen as a biased justice system has some parallels. Burying the Till murder trial is just a way of avoiding that subject. A common hobby amongst good FPMers.

          • Boots

After correcting a mistake you go on to attack all readers of FPM. That is clearly troll behavior… “The lesson here is NEVER trust anything posted by a good FPMer.” and “Were the cases different? Of course only idiots and FPMers would refuse to see that.” Another troll behavior.. make the argument something it isn’t. The vast majority of the posts agree these are totally different. If you have a problem with CowboyUp making a factual mistake fine with me but don’t lump all of us together. I thought liberals didn’t believe in stereotyping you judgmental buffoon. Maybe you need something stronger than a hit off your bong.

          • ziggy zoggy

You addressed your idiotic comment to the wrong commentator. CowboyUp didn’t write that. And the fact that Till had a trial only makes your attacks even more idiotic. Till was murdered by racists about 60 years ago and got no justice. Widdle Twayvon sought to murder Zimmerman out of racist rage and recieved justice on the spot. Zimmerman was tried illegally and exonerated anyway. Martin was a scummy punk and the world is a better place without him. Get over it, you repulsive little racist. Take your meds and wait for the short bus to pick you up.

          • Fritz

Lets try that again, a young lad from Chicago, visiting his aunt and uncle goes into town with his cousin and whistles at the wife of a shop keeper. The shop keeper then gets together with his pals and spends two days looking for the boy. They find him at his uncle’s house, then abduct him at gunpoint in the middle of the night, beat him, torture, and then kill him.
Yes I can see they are both the same after all, except for all of the pertinent details. Are you that dense to suggest that the state of Florida would conduct a trial rigged in favor of the defendant with the whole world watching? But then again you probably have a “Free Mumia” bumper sticker on the back of your rustbucket Festiva.

          • Cold_Drake_80

This is the part of my previous post you clearly didn’t read:

“Were the cases different? Of course only idiots and FPMers would refuse to see that. However, the controversy surrounding what is seen as a biased justice system has some parallels. Burying the Till murder trial is just a way of avoiding that subject. A common hobby amongst good
            FPMers.”

It contains an acknowledgement that I know the cases are different. I suspect you lack the attention span needed to finish reading my posts which would explain your obvious blunder.
Since your incompetence invalidates everything else you’ve written we’ll just leave it at that.

          • Fritz

Again I will repeat my previous question. Are you that dense to suggest that the state of Florida would conduct a
trial rigged in favor of the defendant with the whole world watching? The two cases have absolutely nothing in common other then a black individual ended up dead, where is the parallel? The facts of the Zimmerman trial have been laid out. As for reading your posts it’s mainly a waste of time, it’s clear that you have absolutely no interest in an honest debate about anything, you will now be cheerfully ignored.

          • Cold_Drake_80

I wrote: “Were the cases different? Of course only idiots and FPMers would refuse
to see that. However, the controversy surrounding what is seen as a

Congratulations you have proven me 100% correct. In those post you freely admit that you don’t bother reading my posts before spewing. So my comments about FPMers have been amply supported in your case.

          • Drakken

Your just peeved that your hero Tray Von got his just deserts like the thug gang wanabee deserved.

          • Cold_Drake_80

Dam, you’ve fallen back into white supremacy again. Well, you made some progress. Oh, well it isn’t like you’re really worth saving.

          • ziggy zoggy

The so called criminal justice system is definitely biased – in favor of Blacks. In most states Black criminals receive wrist slaps no matter how long their arrest records are, and are usually released on their own recognizance. Blacks are the only ones to recieve this preferential treatment. Mexicans don’t. Whites with clean records accused of petty crimes usually have to pay exorbitant bail or wait months in jail for their trial, where they usually recieve much harsher treatment and sentences than Blacks. The only reason there are so many Blacks locked up is because they commit an astronomical amount of crime, particularly violent crime. Zimmerman was indicted precicely because he isn’t Black but his dead assailant was. Everything Oprah said about this was idiotic andd racist.

          • tagalog

It is demonstrably wrong. I wrote it and I corrected my mistake, acknowledging the error. Nevertheless the posts continue. I could grovel and abase myself before you, but why bother?

          • Cold_Drake_80

You made a mistake that served you own interests. One you only corrected under pressure. It’s obvious you would have never retracted that statement unless you were called out which wasn’t likely when amongst the sniveling rabble of FPM.
You don’t get to act butthurt over it now. Own it and shut up.

          • tagalog

There isn’t a single statement about me or my motivations in the above post that is true. You, sir, are a liar, and, most interestingly, about a person you know nothing about. How silly a type of person you have chosen to be.

          • Cold_Drake_80

Another thing I find amusing about internet racists is when they start spewing their hate they assume I’m black. Must make it easier for you to think that I’m a legitimate target for you bottomless hate.

          • tagalog

I don’t know who you’re referring to when you talk about people assuming you’re a black person, certainly not me, although your post is directed to me.

I haven’t spent enough time thinking about you to consider your race, and in any event your race is irrelevant to the nonsense you have been spewing. Sadly, that foolishness cuts across racial lines.

          • tagalog

I didn’t write what I wrote to call one victim “worthy” and one not “worthy.” What I wrote was intended to distinguish between Trayvon Martin, who was not a victim in any meaningful way to anything, racism or otherwise, and Emmett Till, who is rightfully an icon of the civil rights movement.

        • ziggy zoggy

Cold_Dork_80, the problem with trolls is that they have poor reading comprehension skills, and they hate everybody who doesn’t share their warped groupthink.

          • Cold_Drake_80

tagalog wrote this: “There was no trial in the Emmett Till case.”
That is wrong. Either he was lying or too lazy to do even the minimal research. It is not a difference of opinion it is about being WRONG.

          • ziggy zoggy

ColdDork_80, you insulted CowboyUp instead of Tagalog. Whether or not Till got a trial is irrelevant pettifoggery. There is no comparison between a Black victim of historical White racism and a current Black racist who was killed while trying to commit homicide. If you think widdle Twayvon’s hoody belongs in permanent display at our national museum you are insane. If you think he was a victim of institutionalized White racism and privilege you are a hopelessly ret@rded fanatic. I think you need to call your nurse to change your diapers.

          • Cold_Drake_80

Read this very, very carefully. Better yet have your care taker read it to you:

tagalog wrote this: “There was no trial in the Emmett Till case.”

This can not be a clearer statement. You are clearly an idiot. Also I love how good FPMers rave about everyone but them is so racist. Projecting much?
I don’t particularly care where Trayvon’s hoody goes and I never said it should be put in the Smithsonian. I question the utility of doing that. I was addressing an obvious blunder that no good FPMer was addressing because it fit into the grand FPM circle jerk. If you don’t like that ask yourself why you hate those who undermine your delusions.

          • Fritz

Slow day at Media Matters cold flake? This article is already a day old and you are still splitting hairs.

          • Cold_Drake_80

For the uninitiated “splitting hairs” in FPM-Speak means: telling the truth or exposing the lies and glaring blunders of good FPMers.
The differences in the two meanings are largely irrelevant since FPMers are not favourably predisposed towards the truth. They prefer to cling to delusion.

          • ziggy zoggy

More false projection from the lefty troll. Brilliant debating technique, numbn^ts. Very original.

Yoj are pegtifogging to avoid addressing the subject: There is no comparison between Till and Martin. Also, that ret@rd Winfrey had to go back 60 years to even find a young Black victim of Whitey. Your distractions don’t work, troll. Stop sitting on your tiny brain. Pull your head out.

Hoodies are cheap pieces of clothing often used to disguise criminals, kind of like Zimmerman’s prosecutors.

It’s ridiculous to pretend a failing in school, thief, paranoid drug user and violent punk is a martyr. It just reinforces stereotypes and validates bad behavior.

Is the best way to represent a culture in a museum is by showing an item of clothing that supports a narrow, negative stereotype

  • Flitandersen_99

Re: the Gate episode; I think thew thing that really ticked off the good perfesser was that the cop had no idea who he was. It was one of those classic “Do you know who I AM??!!” moments all phony bigshots like to take advantage of, but in this case the copper stared back and asked “No, WHO??” This was an OUTRAGE!!! That’s when things really got ugly! I hate to say this, Hank, but I’d never heard of you before this either. So there!

  • Flitandersen_99

I wonder if there’ll be wax figures of this little thug sitting on Zimmerman’s chest, trying to smash his head open on the concrete sidewalk below? But, y’know, with an innocent angelic glow about him, of course!

  • davarino

So no more sterotypes, or profiling? So it would be cool to walk through a black neighborhood with a white sheet over my head and body with a white pointed hat? There would be no assumptions there, right? You dont know, that might be all that person had to cover with. They shouldnt assume that person is KKK, that would be profiling. This whole assume the best in people thing is balogne, and they know it. If someone looks suspitious then you check it out, otherwise your a fool.

    • Cold_Drake_80

“Check out” is not a synonym for “shoot dead”. I know these are interchangeable to the “mind” of an FPMer but reality would disagree.

      • ziggy zoggy

Cold_Dork_80, Martin attacked Zimmerman just because he LOOKED at him. That is why the scumbag was shot dead. You’re much too stupid to be so smug. Stop drinking the bong water.

      • glpage

But shooting someone who has attacked you and is pounding the living daylights out of you is justifiable self defense.

        • Cold_Drake_80

According to Zimmerman’s self serving account. The evidence chain was irreparably broken when Zimmerman was allowed to go on his merry way. The cuts on his head and other injuries could have been self inflicted or done to him. We will never know as Zimmerman wasn’t treated like the suspect he was but as the son of a judge.

          • glpage

There was no evidence presented by the prosecution that contradicted Zimmerman’s account. There was evidence presented that supported his account. I will grant you that the injuries were “done to him”, Martin did it. Evidence, including an eye witness, supports that Martin was on top of Zimmerman beating him. Bullet trajectory evidence supports Martin being on top of Zimmerman. Event times support the contention that Martin back tracked to sneak up on Zimmerman. There was no evidence that Zimmerman had drawn his weapon prior to being attacked by Martin and apparently he did so only after Martin tried to grab it; that alone tends to negate any contention that Zimmerman intended to kill Martin. The preponderance of the evidence supported Zimmerman’s account.

          • ziggy zoggy

And look at the crime scene photo of Trayvon’s corpse. The front of his pants are wet from the knees down, which is consistent with the eyewitness testimony that Martin straddled Zimmerman in the wet grass and pummelled him. Then look at hi face. Not a mark on it, which is inconsistent with the ridiculous claim that it was him screaming for his life on the 911 recording – WHICH WAS MADE WHILE THE EYEWITNESS THE PHONE CALL!

          • Cold_Drake_80

On Zimmerman’s injuries: “Lindzee Folgate, a physician assistant who treated Zimmerman the day after the shooting, said his nose was “likely broken” but could not say definitively because no X-rays were taken. She said cuts he suffered on his head did not require any stitches.”

So a nose injury that didn’t warrant x-rays and cuts on the head that needed not one stitch. As for the head slamming story:

“Jonathan Good, a former resident at the townhouse
complex, told the jury in Seminole County criminal court that he never saw Martin slam Zimmerman’s head into the concrete sidewalk, undermining a key element in Zimmerman’s defence.”

This is from a single Reuters story. Never mind the 3 witnesses who claimed Zimmerman was on top. So much for eyewitnesses.

As for bullet trajectory it looks like Zimmerman let his mouth write checks his ass couldn’t cash. He was losing a fight he started and decided to escalate. That is just as plausible as Zimmerman’s account.

Then we get to your gem: ” Then look at his face. Not a mark on it, which is inconsistent with the ridiculous claim that it was him screaming for his life on the 911 recording”

I don’t recall a case where a gun shot wound to the chest will mark up someone’s face. Your just making stuff up at this point so you’ll have something to bellow about in feigned outrage.

          • ziggy zoggy

Clod_Dork_80, wow, sometimes forget how full of $hit you special needs lefties are. You have stolidly ignored every inconvenient fact about the Zimmerman case presented here and continue to paste nonsense from lunatic fringe websites. Like all racist lefties you aren’t intetested in the truth. You want Zimmerman to be lynched and you will regurgitate any inanity to get your bucket of blood.

A broken nose and concussion are not superficial injuries. Later x-rays proved it was broken and every other dr who exam ined Zimmerman and the injuries confirmed this. Good thing Zimmerman stopped Martin before he could finish the job.

There was one eyewitness and three proved liars who never had a shred of credibie eyewitness confirmed that Martin was on top pounding Zim MMA style but couldn’t see him bashing his head – because he didn’t witness the entire beating. A beating confirmed by Zim’s injuries.

The notion that Zim started his own beating just because looked at Twayvon, and you know damn well he was on his way back to his truck when it happened. And please explain how Twayvon could scream for five minutes when it took him only one or two to die? Are you really so unbelievably stupid to think Zim started it and made Twayvon scream without leaving a single mark on his FACE? The gunshot that killed him in less than two minutes was in his chest.

I can never get a left -wing racist loon like you to stop lying and barking at the moon, but when so many “FPMers” refute your plagiarized nonsense and expose your stupidity, it’s instructive for people who read it. Go back to watching dirty Sanchez fetish porn in your parents’ basement and dreaming about getting a sex change.

          • ziggy zoggy

The police noted his injuries at the crime scene. Your racism makes you irrational. Twayvon was irrefutably guilty. You are irrefutably repulsive. Crawl back to the Huffpo.

Zimmerman made an effort to check out Trayvon Martin. That’s the reason Martin assaulted him and got shot, not wanting to be checked out.

      • tagalog

I speculate about what would have happened to George Zimmerman if Trayvon Martin had been armed instead of Zimmerman.

  • Charles Martel

Have you ever noticed how the media portrays white victims of crime. “They were in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Maybe someone should publish a website with all the wrong places and wrong times so white people could remain safe. But that might be racist. Of course if you are the SPLC you can publish a map of hate areas and be portrayed as a saint.

      Charles,

      Get with the program.

It’s “cracka” – don’t you get it yet?

      • Charles Martel

Yes but I have never seen a picture of a cracka, although I I was recently informed the name goes back to the slavery days when slave owners would, “crack the whip.” Anyway, I thought I would assume my supposed identity the best I could and take ownership. I am still looking for my t-shirt with this picture guess I’ll have to have one made. But that might put me in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    • tagalog

“They were in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Or my favorite, “It was a burglary (or other criminal act) that went wrong.”

I have always wondered, what happens when a burglary (or other criminal act) goes RIGHT? Does that mean that the bad guys get away with it?

In Trayvon Martin’s case, it was an Assault With Intent to Kill that went badly for the bad guy.

Does the Smithsonian have Joe HIll’s pistol?

“We don’t know exactly what he did, except what he said on the Internet and it’s important for me not to judge,” Obama told Leno.

King Obama was talking about Snowden; pity he didn’t exercise the same restraint when commenting about Saint Trayvon.

“Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture”

And we are paying how much in taxes for this institution? Nice to know that we are in such fine financial shape that we can afford a museum that thinks a violence prone gangbanger wannabe’s hoodie is worthy of a place in African-American culture. How about this for a display instead: the collected works of Thomas Sowell, someone who has actually added content to not only African-American Culture, but to American Culture as well?

    • ziggy zoggy

The Smithsonian has been broken for a long time now. It should be renamed as “THE P.C. HALL OF SHAME.” IT’s almost as bad as that loony “museum” in North Korea that has drawings of American GIs eating NK babies.

      • 1proactive2

You’re so right. I don’t know if it’s still there, but the Hiroshima and Nagasaki exhibits explained that it was unnecessary and barbaric for America to drop the A-bombs, and that it caused the murder of so many innocent people. The Smithsonian is PC in every respect.

        • Fritz

Except of course for the estimated hundreds of thousand of casualties and deaths that would have been incurred by a D day style invasion of the main islands of Japan. I am speaking of the Japanese casualties alone not American and or Allied casualties. There was an estimated death toll of around 35,000 Japanese killed in Okinawa, I wonder if these idiots have ever contemplated how many more would have died had Japan not surrendered when they did.

          • 1proactive2

These facts aren’t of a concern the PC crowd. Image over substance is their mantra.

Our casualty number was estimated to be over a million dead American fighters.

          • ziggy zoggy

Yes and that figure turned out to be lowball. Japan was much better prepared than American military intelligence knew. They didn’t find out until after the war.

          • ziggy zoggy

Those idiots don’t even know what Operation Olympic was, or that the Japanese military order refused to surrender even after the second nuke was dropped. Hirohito had to overrule their decision. No, the idiots think it was unnecessary and that killing the enemy with nukes is more “evil” than killing them with conventional weapons.

Why should there be a museum of African-American history?
Are there any specific museums for Asian American, White American or Hispanic American histories?

      • StevenDobbs

What about a museum for White-Hispanics?

And lets not forget the White-African Americans, like Obama.

        • 1proactive2

I vote for a museum of Serbo-Croatians. Then there are the Macedonians that will need a building. Oh! I forgot! The Eskimos are also in need of a cultural/history center.

    • 1proactive2

Can’t wait to visit that museum.

The pig skins and hot sauce exhibit should be entertaining along with the one for orange drink and fish sandwiches. Then there’s the exhibit with the athletic shoe collection showing which brands caused the greatest number of murders when they were stolen from the wearer.

Will the museum also have the jacked-up car exhibit with the chrome “twenny-foes” (24 inch rim wheels)?

The museum just has to have an exhibit of the bruthas with the most baby-mommas to include the number of chirren they produced without supporting them. To not do so would be “rasis”.

This museum will be so entertaining except for the pat-downs at the door and the electronic screenings for visitors.

      • Fritz

Have you priced out a Glock lately? No way a ghetto gang banger could afford one unless he stole it. He would be more likely to buy a cheaper Brazilian pistol like a Taurus.

White America should get behind a movement to have the Pope canonize trayvon martin Two mircles are required and I believe we have more than enough. First ‘The Mircle of The Jewelry’ where a dozen pieces of jewelry were given him by a friend including matching wedding bands. Second, evidence of his having led an exemplary life of goodness and virtue worthy of imitation (as evidenced by the liberal media), having died a heroic death (martyrdom at the hands of George Zimmerman). Third, ‘The Laying on of Hands’ so to speak by the outpouring of love from black & liberal America at the very mention of the name of trayvon martin. After all Beyonce did sing a song about loving trayvon.
I think this will finally show the world & black America how far white America has come, maybe this act will lessen the black on white, justice for trayvon flash mobs.
    One can only hope.

Barry Loberfeld: What I Learned in the Wake of the Zimmerman Trial

    1) Leftists believe that the verdict they decree in the court of their ideological opinion supersedes whatever verdict will be pronounced in the courts of law, which they know to be systematically corrupt.

    2) Leftists are bored by “crime” (i.e., when the black guy shoots someone) but energized by “racism” (i.e., when the black guy gets shot … by someone nonblack).

    3) Leftists consider it “sociology” – not racism – when they insist that any one action of any one white person is a reflection of all the conscious and unconscious thoughts of all white people (even when the “white person” in question apparently isn’t white).

    4) Leftists define a “dialogue on race” as their delivery of a monologue that others will completely agree with … if they’re not racists.

    5) Leftists demand that white people acknowledge a) the threat of violence they pose to black people (especially young black males), and b) that any fear they have of violence by black people (especially young black males) is yet another manifestation of their racism. (As a practical matter, you’re most likely to get shot by a member of your own race.)

    6) The national media’s treatment of race is best encapsulated by the contrast between “Trayvon” and Christopher Cervini (who?!).

    7) Leftists (e.g., Maya Wiley on MSNBC) believe that “brain science” proves that white people’s opinions are an accumulation of centuries of bias, while their own opinions are … “brain science.”

    8) The bias most entrenched in our society is the confirmation bias of the professional left.

BL: By all means, forward this to a leftist friend – if you’re secure in the friendship. But if you post it on a “progressive” site, expect it to get deleted.

Mr. Tapson’s article has far too much common sense, maturity, and honesty to be accepted by the black PMS (poor me syndrome) crowd. That group has none of the above.

Black street thugs have blanket defenders of their crimes via Massa Al and Massa Jesse, and the misery they both spread defends black instant gratification and brings in millions of bucks. And there is nothing that can be done regarding the willful ignorance that infects a majority of black Americans. They deserve what they get — good and hard.

The hoodie could be hung up next to the clothing that the white kids Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome were wearing the night 5 blacks tortured, raped and murdered them.
Or next to the garbage can where they stuffed the poor girls body after they were through with their sick demented evening of sadism and evil.

  • locomotive1

So my comments are being taken off for bringing up the torture, rape and murder of two white kids, Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome by 5 black men.
If you are going to have an honest discussion leave my comments alone.
They were not slanderous or vicious and merely spoke the truth of that horrible horrible night for those 2 kids.
And if Trayvon’s hoodie can go on the wall at the Smith then why not the clothes those two were wearing the night they were murdered.

Trayvon Martin, a young life sadly taken. no question. That the morally- common sense adrift Smithsonian would display this garment in the leftist parameters is no surprise. The Leftist( the masses are expendable), Environmentalists( man is a virus), well, see the warm spot? Evolution was gratefully adopted by the Japanese High Command in WW2. The Nazi’s appreciated Darwin as it gave scientific approval to inhuman acts and genocide. Getting to the point, the Progressives, have been at work to Europhy America, according to Beck, for a very. long time. The idea was to infiltrate, takeover All institutions to institute the Progressive Plan for America. Smithsonian included. Notice how these institutions ALL agree so heartily on what amounts to the Democratic platform.Apathy, yes, we are constantly reminded that a “marxist professor” said this or that. Wow, an openly communist teaching our children. He would have been removed from the classroom when I was a kid. America’s virtue is under assault, veiled communism at work everyday, a little here a little there. Trayvon picked on the wrong whitey to pummel, is also true.

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”
