Syria: The Next Libya?

USalliesSyriaThe Obama administration has finally officially acknowledged that the Syrian government has used illegal chemical weapons in its bloody civil war half a year after reports first surfaced, which opens the door to U.S. involvement in the conflict.

After months of heel-dragging, the administration admits Syria crossed the much-vaunted “red line” President Obama laid down for U.S. action in that regime’s two year war against opposition forces. Obama said last summer that if Syria used chemical weapons such an action would be a “game-changer” for the United States. Despite reports that the Assad regime has done precisely that, Obama has been taking his sweet time making an official finding.

But yesterday Ben Rhodes, a young White House speechwriter who works as the White House’s deputy national security adviser for strategic communications, said “the president has made his decision.”

Rhodes, for what it’s worth, may be responsible for concocting the official lies about last September’s deadly terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

Rhodes said U.S. intelligence reports indicate Hezbollah-backed Syria has used sarin and various chemical weapons “on a small scale” against multiple rebel targets on at least four occasions over the past year. The death toll from such attacks could be 150 or higher, he said. The United Nations says 92,000 have died in the civil war so far.

“Suffice it to say that decision has been made about providing additional direct support to the [opposition Supreme Military Council] to strengthen their effectiveness,” Rhodes said. “This is more a situation where we’re just not going to be able to lay out an inventory of what exactly falls under the scope of that assistance other than to communicate that we have made that decision.”

Sending Americans troops to wade into the Middle Eastern conflict is off the table right now but administration officials say the U.S. will soon augment the “scope and scale” of its military aid to the largely jihadist opponents of Syria’s brutal president Bashar Assad.

The Obama administration says it hasn’t decided if the U.S. will support a proposed “no-fly” zone over Syria. Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) are both pressing for a no-fly zone.

It is suspected that the Syrian opposition will not last much longer absent external assistance. Earlier this month, in Syria the town of Qusair was taken by forces loyal to the Assad regime. Qusair is strategically important because it links the capital city of Damascus to the Mediterranean Sea on which ports and a Russian naval base are located.

As Charles Krauthammer noted, the capture of Qusair with the assistance of the pro-Iranian terrorist group Hezbollah frees up Assad’s resources, allowing him to “advance on rebel-dominated areas in central and northern Syria, including Aleppo.”

“For the rebels, it’s a devastating loss of territory, morale and their supply corridor to Lebanon,” Krauthammer writes. “No one knows if this reversal of fortune will be the last, but everyone knows that Assad now has the upper hand.”

Obama’s decision comes a month after Secretary of State John Kerry surreptitiously gave Egypt $1.3 billion in U.S. military aid, rewarding that country’s Islamofascist dictatorship for its increasingly vicious assaults on foreign workers, religious minorities, and civil society.

Kerry authorized aid to the authoritarian anti-American regime despite finding in a May 9 memo that “we are not satisfied with the extent of Egypt’s progress and are pressing for a more inclusive democratic process and the strengthening of key democratic institutions.”

In order for the aid to flow U.S. law requires the secretary of state to certify that the Egyptian government “is supporting the transition to civilian government, including holding free and fair elections, implementing policies to protect freedom of expression, association and religion, and due process of law.”

This U.S. taxpayer-funded assistance to Egypt could easily find its way into the conflict in Syria, just as U.S. aid to anti-Qaddafi forces in Libya is no doubt now being used against American interests in the Arab world.

Khaled al-Qazzaz, a foreign affairs adviser to Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi, said Egyptians are free to join the war in nearby Syria. Sunni Muslim clerics in Egypt are urging their followers to get involved in the armed struggle by helping anti-Assad rebels.

Al-Qazzaz said that “the right of travel or freedom of travel is open for all Egyptians.”

Egypt will not prosecute its citizens for fighting in Syria, he said. “We are no longer a center for rendition, or punishing Egyptians for what they do in other countries.”

Al-Qazzaz said he’s not worried at the prospect of greater involvement by foreign jihadists in Syria.

“We don’t consider them a threat,” al-Qazzaz said. “We have a controllable situation in Sinai … We do not have a situation of returning jihadists.”

These bland assurances, of course, are similar to what the Obama administration said as it armed jihadists in the effort to topple Libya’s Moammar Qaddafi. Despite hopes for a new secular liberal status quo in Libya, the Qaddafi regime was replaced by an Islamist government friendly to Islamic radicalism, which only continues to grow in the country. Like in Libya, America may find that our intervention on behalf of similar extremists in Syria will come with deadly consequences.

Finally! Someone sees the parallel between Egypt, Libya and now Syria. Barack Hussein is again going to arm Islamists of the worst kind, this time in Syria. Why?

    • davarino

He’s helping to unite islamists throughout the arab world. Yes, syria is the next libya. I say we should stay out of it and let them duke it out, and keep helping the underdog till they are both gone.

      • Poupic

The most interesting thing is that Barack Hussein repeats the same stupid mistakes over and over again. Getting weapons to Islamic terror again. Then if we learn from Barack Hussein’s history he will send another Ambassador to try to buy back the weapons from the Islamic terror group. They still do not understand that those weapons in their hands are like some sort of religious Icon’s to kill the non- believers (anybody not from their own particular stream of Islam). So an Ambassador trying to get those weapons back is in effect a White house Suicide bomber without a bomb.

        • EarlyBird

Obama is not only making the same mistake he made in Lybia again, but what Bush did in Iraq and Afghanistan, again.
We need to get into another stupid war in the Arab Muslim world like we need a hole in the head. I am simply aghast at this announcment and feel betrayed.

          • Poupic

Perfectly good Americans may die as a result of Barack Hussein declared feeling for Islam for people who generally hate America and want American money.

          • EarlyBird

He’s doing this out of weakness and being pushed into it by the hawks who permanently run the national security establishment. Obama is absolutely spineless.
And shame on him for having his office boy, Ben Rhodes, casually announce that we’re getting into this war. Obama should at least have the decency to announce this himself.

            Unbelieveable!

          • Poupic

Taking into consideration 20 years of anti- Semitism and Liberation Theology and adding to this his declaration of a soft spot for Islam in his infamous speech in Cairo. Everything falls into place. He sees The Muslim Brotherhood as a liberating force that is MODERATE so he helped them destroy a 30 year ally of the USA that held the M.B. in check. Helping the same in Syria follows as summer follows spring. That McCain is on the same wave is nothing but regular ignorance of the Middle East realities and his good heart caring for people he would do better to ignore because they all hate the USA.

          • EarlyBird

I disagree with you entirely on Egypt.
Mubarak and a host of other now-fallen Arab tyrants were part of a long line of autocrats propped up by the US and various other Western nations since WWI. They managed not only to keep the Bearded Ones down for decades, but normal Arabs along with them too, and finally by the turn of the 21st Century they were no longer able to keep the lid on those boiling pots.
Obama is not responsible for the MB’s leadership in Egypt. All Obama did was NOT help Mubarak crush hundreds of thousands of Egyptians in front of an international audience, and thereby do bin Laden’s PR work, and good for him.

          • Poupic

Of course you must be an incredible expert in Arab society, religion, sociology and politics. You sound like you had one course too many from the current crop of professors who are in fact abysmally ignorant of the Middle east reality but nevertheless teach on the subject. Let me straighten you out a bit. Mubarak was not an Arab leader out of the ordinary Arab leaders. He was exactly what an Arab leader has been for a very long time. From the tribe to the village, the city, the state it is always a strong man that leads whether they call him a King or Rais or sheik. Mubarak main objective above all others was to keep The Muslim Brotherhood in check and he did. The moment Barak Hussein pushed him under the bus The Muslim Brotherhood took over. Churches destroyed, Christians murdered, Christian girls kidnapped, raped and forced to marry Muslim and convert to Islam. Women have now almost no rights in Egypt, Barbers have been told that they have to stop shaving men. The mosque, Sharia is the facto the law in Egypt. Barak Hussein going to Egypt will be able to enjoy the call to prayer from the minarets early in the morning as he said he missed that. Tunisia is way on it’s way to follow the Egyptian model. Libya is there too. Barak Hussein intervening where he has no business intervening will change Syria from a secular state into a Sharia state lead by The Muslim Brotherhood. Christians, Druze, Alawite’s blood will start flowing like rivers. Churches will burn or be transformed into mosques. The weapons Barak Hussein is about to supply the so called “Insurgents” will in fact go almost entirely to Islamic terror groups. Those weapons will find their way to aimed at Americans and we will have Barak Hussein to thank for that. Assad is no choir boy but he is no better than the so called “insurgents.” They are all cut from the same cloth that see no problem in killing people. Why chose side? Why risk that American weapons will one day kill Americans because Barak Hussein think he knows what he does. I will be charitable and say that he does this from ignorance. But more and more a pattern is growing every day of Barak Hussein siding with virulent Islamists. Ask yourself why? Just like I do.

          • EarlyBird

It doesn’t take lots o’ book learnin’ to know some very, very basic history about the Western influence on the Middle East. It takes deep ignorance to believe the Arab Spring started with a speech in Cairo.
And it doesn’t them darn professers to know that Mubarak was the typical Arab strong man, as you state. So what? Why did he have to “our” strong man? There. Are. Results. From. Our. Actions. The Arabs hate us because we have backed horrible oppressors ove their for so long. And they are fighting us to rid us of that meddling, not just because it’s the nature of Islam, etc.
Again, Obama didn’t push Mubarak under the bus; Mubarak’s goose was already cooked. Obama just chose not to help him violently crush the movement. If that is what you wanted, then have the guts to state it. Write this: “I believe that America’s policy in the Arab world is to back tyrannical thugs, and help them mow down innocent who wish to be free of them.” That was the choice Obama had: let Egyptians decide their own fate (imagine that!) or openly assist Mubarak in a massacre.
And neither you or I give a damn about the fate of Egyptians, so stop pretending you do.

          • Poupic

Indeed it does need book learning, following for years Arab politics, history… to know that Arabs hate everybody that is not an Arab or a Muslim. Arabs regard Democracy as a Crusaders’ idea. There is no bigger put down for them then this. Arabs are people who live their history. The Crusades for them is still going on to this day. They allied generally with the Nazi’s and then with the USSR.

Did you see anywhere that I claim that the speecvh in Cairo started the misnamed “Arab Spring?” Barack Hussein did his very public confession to the Muslim world in his Cairo speech. It is very revealing of the inner thinking of this man. 20 years of following Wright, having anti- Semitic friends and advisers such as Rashid Khalidi… Having declared Islamic terrorists sympathizers in the White House as guests or advisers on relation with Muslims. Your “beliefs” and the political realities of the Middle east do not fit together. The US has relations with all Arab states while none has democracy and all are ruled by strong men. More than often succession in Arab states if not from father to sun it is by a bloody murderous succession. So the USA never had a choice who to deal with that is not a strong man in the Arab world. By the way Christians, women and the little bit liberals in Egypt long for the time Mubarak ruled instead of what Barack Hussein calls MODERATE M.B.

In fact I care a lot about the Kopt who mostly are continuing to flee Egypt with nothing as the Jews did before them. There is no Arab state where any Jew remains to speak off and soon no Arab state will have any Christians to speak about. By the way, Jews and Kopts already lived in Egypt more than a thousand years before any Arab left Arabia. The same applies to Iraq and Syria.

Barack Hussein is about to do a repeat in Syria where Christians, Druze and any other minority that has not fled their historical land will get massacred with the weapons Barack Hussein will have send there.Indeed it does need book learning, following for years Arab politics, history… to know that Arabs hate everybody that is not an Arab or a Muslim. It’s one thing for the US to accept the Arabs’ propensity for strong men and deal with whatever strong men exist. It’s another to actively install and support those brutal strong men, as we have in numerous instances (Saddam, for instance), and the wonder why Arabs hate us.
As for Egypt, you are dodging the issue entirely: we either a.) helped Mubarak violently crush the revolution – which as you stated included not just MB supporters, but a variety of people – or, b.) accept the fact that Egyptians took their country into their own hands. There was no option c.
You continue to blame Obama for some how “losing Egypt” (not your direct words) to the Muslim Brotherhood. There is this idea that we can and should control every outcome every where to our liking. How about staying the hell out of other peoples’ lives?
I don’t have any more respect for Arabs and their culture, or Islam, than you do. But to in essence write them off as being fundamentally incompatible with democracy or at least popular government is not only bigotry but ahistorical. Just like so many former colonies in Asia and Africa struck out on their own after WWII, so did Arab nations. But unlike in Asia and Africa, the West refused to let go because that’s where the oil and Israel are.
What we are going through is the long-delayed revolt against Western meddling in their affairs. They may be inclined to “hate” us because of their culture and religion, but they are fighting a war for very conventional reasons: to wrest control of their nations, government and resources from outsiders.

          • Drakken

    • ObamaYoMoma

Finally! Someone sees the parallel between Egypt, Libya and now Syria. Barack Hussein is again going to arm Islamists of the worst kind, this time in Syria. Why?

Uhm…the word Islamist is the political correct term used to describe radical or extremist Muslims, which also assumes the existence of so-called moderate Muslims, but nonetheless, like Turkish President Erdogan says, “Islam cannot be classified as moderate or not.”

Indeed, and he is very correct, as unlike in actual faith-based religions, the first and foremost requirement of Islam is the total, complete, and unconditional submission to the will of Allah under the pain of death for blasphemy and apostasy, which makes Islam a cult as opposed to a religion.

Meanwhile, what exactly is the will of Allah? In essence it’s Sharia, of course, which is Islam’s totalitarian law. Thus, all Muslims are 100 percent Sharia compliant, per their unconditional submission, or otherwise they are blasphemous apostates in which case according to the texts and tenets of Islam must be executed.

Also, according to Sharia, jihad is the highest pillar of Islam and a fundamental holy obligation incumbent upon all Muslims. Hence, all Muslims are therefore jihadists in one form or another. Forget about terrorism and terrorists, as terrorism is not holy fighting in the cause of Allah to establish Islam and doesn’t have anything whatsoever to do with Islam. Meanwhile, jihad, on the other hand and in stark contrast to terrorism, is both violent and non-violent unlike terrorism. Violent, just like terrorism, but also at the same time non-violent by stealth and deception as well. Indeed, astronomically far more Muslims pursue jihad non-violently relative to violently, and as a matter of fact mass Muslim immigration to the West is one of the most ubiquitous forms of non-violent jihad.

Hence, all Muslims are our enemies, and Islamists, like moderate Muslims as well, are just imaginary figments of the political correct mind, because they don’t actually exist, at least in reality. Now the 64 million dollar question is why are Dhimmicrat and Republican politicians both lying to the American people? Are they really that gullible and incompetent?

      • Poupic

        Yuck!

        • ObamaYoMoma

Hey dude…sometimes the truth isn’t always pretty, but if you think you can prove me wrong, then by all means please does.

Indeed, out of the millions of supposedly peaceful and moderate Muslims that have migrated to the West, please cite all the communities of Muslim immigrants where Muslims have migrated that have actually assimilated and integrated and matriculated into contributing and productive members of their newly adoptive non-Islamic infidel countries, instead of forming Muslim enclaves that eventually morph into Islamic no-go zones ruled by Sharia and forming tiny Islamic statelets within the greater infidel host states.

Furthermore, it is my contention that immediately following the Hijra, Muhammad’s migration to Medina after he and the early Muslims were cast out of Mecca, Islam which heretofore was a very bastardized religion, underwent an Islamic reformation of sorts, when Muhammad subsequently became very obsessed with revenge, jihad, and politics and in the process reformed Islam into what it is today, which is a very aggressive totalitarian cult with the sole fundamental purpose of achieving dominion over all religions via the imposition of Sharia, which is Islam’s totalitarian law. Hence, since that Islamic reformation, Islam has been posing as being a religion in order to dupe its intended victims.

Furthermore, according to the principle of abrogation, which is universally accepted throughout the various divisions and sects within Islam, all the earlier issued verses of the Koran were abrogated and replaced by the latter issued verses of the Koran they conflict with. Thus, all the earlier issued Meccan verses of the Koran that originate from the time when Islam was only a peaceful religion, and also the same ones Muslims like to cite to dupe their gullible useful idiot victims, have been abrogated and replaced by the infamous Medinan sword verses of the Koran issued after the Islamic reformation during Muhammad’s final years. Thus, Islam in no way is a peaceful religion as is being forced fed to the American people by Republicans and Democrats alike.

Nevertheless, please cite all the Islamic states in the world that are today not totalitarian or are in the process of being converted to Islamic totalitarianism. Hell, per Sharia, Islam’s totalitarian law, even Iraq was totalitarian when we were still occupying it, as Sharia was enshrined with Bush administration approval in Iraq’s new constitution, and the same goes for Afghanistan’s constitution as well.

Finally, please cite all the non-Muslim countries that border Islamic countries in the world, that unlike Israel are not under assault by violent and non-violent jihad being waged upon them.

If you can cite specific examples of each, you will have proven me wrong.

Hey dude…sometimes the truth isn’t always pretty and political correctness stymies the truth not only for the left, but also for the right as well even here at FPM, but since you are such an obvious Middle East expert and an apparent Muslim authority who is so right while I am so misguided, then by all means please prove to me where I’m wrong by citing specific examples for the following.

Out of the millions of supposedly peaceful and moderate Muslims that have migrated to the West, please cite all the communities of peaceful and moderate Muslim immigrants where Muslims have migrated to the West that have actually assimilated and integrated and matriculated into contributing and productive members of their newly adoptive infidel host countries, instead of forming Muslim enclaves that eventually morph into Islamic no-go zones ruled by Sharia and forming tiny Islamic statelets within the greater infidel host states.

Finally, please cite all the peaceful Islamic countries in the world that do not harshly oppress and degrade the non-Muslim infidels that live inside their countries and also at the same time, treat females with equality.

If you can cite specific examples for each of the above, then you will have demonstrated to me that Islam is not a totalitarian cult that masquerades as being a religion to dupe the gullible useful idiot infidels it intends to subjugate via the eventual imposition of Sharia and you will have also proven me wrong as well.

Hilary defended the Albanian muslims back in the 90′s against the Christian Serbs…Destroying the name Yugoslavia…thereby making the muslims happy in that area.

The answer to your question is this:

A leopard can not change its spots. Those who remember and are aware of the Clintons and what they are about from watching their moves in the 90s – know where they are coming from.

      The place is called Islam.

      • Poupic

Thank you!! You reminded me of a terrible time for me. I survived the Shoa and seeing that the USA allied itself with the Croats and Muslims against the Serbs who had died with Jews in concentration camps guarded by both Croats and Muslims allied to the Nazis. The Serbs were allies who in fact are the only nation that liberated itself in WW II. This counted for nothing. Both the left and the right clamored to take away land from the Serbs. It was a national frenzy against them not just the Clintons.

        • Drakken

To be fair, the Croats did turn on the muslims and ally with the Serbs.

          • Poupic

I have no idea what you mean by to be fair. The fact is the Croats where 100% on the side of the Nazi’s. While they got their independence they elected Nazis, glorified their Nazi past while the USA sided with them against the Serbs who were great fighters against the Nazi’s. To be fair, that is the truth, all the truth.

What happened to all the Saudi backing for the Sunni side? Where’s Hamas? A Hamas vs. Hezbollah showdown would be interesting. Turkey is on the side of the Sunni rebels; let them waste their men and money. One might think the Gulf states (who have Shii minorities) would be funding the opposition.

This would be a clearcut lesson on Islam if we stay out of it. We only obscure the fact that the Islamic world is disintegrating due to its own internal rot. Many want to blame our intervention. Now is the time to allow a clear view of Islam at work by itself.

      Questions, Brand:
Why do we want to watch a video explaining how evil Iran is? We know that already. Why should we care?
And why do we want a bunch of right wing Israel Firsters explaining how Palestinians aren’t “real” because at the time their land was stolen by European Jewish settlers they didn’t have a flag or a formal government?
And what do any of these things have to do with Sharia?
And how much is Netanyahu paying you?

      • Drakken

Save your bloody empathy and sympathy for a bunch of Islamic savages for a people that deserve it. In case it escaped your notice, but Israel is a western ally, the effing pali savages are not and never will be no matter how much you wish it to be so.

        • EarlyBird

The only “empathy” I have is for Americans. And that’s why I’m tired our foreign policy being controlled by Israel. Wake up, you idiot. Front Page Magazine is a propaganda apparatus for right wing Greater Israel zealots. I don’t care what they do to Pals; I just want them to leave us out of it.

They use knuckle draggers like you who can’t differentiate between Hamas and Al Queda, so that we end up doing Israel’s bidding and getting into unnecessary wars which are going to destroy our country.

          • Gee

Wanting the land that we were awarded under international law is “Greater Israel”. You are a racist moron

          • Drakken

I know the bloody difference Sparky, and frankly there really is no difference between the two and they need to be eliminated by whatever means necessary. I’ll take the knuckle dragger comment as a compliment.

Before 1948, Jews were known as the Palestinians.
The Jewish newspaper, the Jerusalem Post was called the Palestine Post. The Jewish-founded electric company was Palestine Electric. The Palestinian Symphony Orchestra was all Jewish. During World War II, the British army had a Palestinian Brigade made up entirely of Jewish volunteers.

After Jews migrated to Palestine in significant numbers in the late
1800s and miraculously transformed desert and swamps into rich, agricultural land, Arabs came in large numbers from Arab countries for jobs from Jews.

The fact that the overwhelming majority of Arabs resided only briefly in Palestine is attested to by a one-time special UN decree: that any Arab who had resided in Palestine for only two years before 1948, and then left, would be considered a refugee and so would his descendants!

Throughout history, people were never regarded as refugees if they had resided in a country for only two years because they were clearly citizens of other countries!

      • LindaRivera

The inalienable rights of Jews to the Biblical heartland must not be violated! No one is demanding Muslims surrender THEIR top religious areas of Mecca and Medina!

In 1948, Egypt invaded Gaza, ethnically cleansing all Jews and in 1948, Jordan invaded Judea, Samaria and east Jerusalem, ethnically cleansing all Jews.

In violent opposition to G-D, Muslim Jordan destroyed 58 synagogues in Jerusalem. The jihad is against the Holy One.

When Israel won the Arab war of aggression in 1967, Jews returned to the areas of their ancestral homeland they had been ethnically cleansed from for 19 years. Anti-Israel propaganda deceitfully calls Jews’ legitimate return “occupation”.

Jews have had a continuous presence in their physical and spiritual homeland Israel for 4,000 years.

All Land and Property Stolen from Jews in the 1948 Islamic Invasion Must be Returned!

        • EarlyBird

Good for the Jews. Why do they have to manipulate American public opinion and demand “no daylight” in foreign policy of the US and Israel, and call anyone who dares get in the way of their Greater Israel fantasies “anti-Semitic”? What in the world do we owe them, over any other ally?

        • Ahmed K

Now you have forgotten that you were migrated from Europe after the downfall of Germany Great Hitler 2nd world war and dropped in the Middle East?. You are the minority in the arab region and i think killing is not a better solution by the way ending when? As foreigners in the region living with each other in harmony could be a better solution and learn to be tolerant, honest and interactive settlement with each other forget the word religion and instead tribe for a peaceful blood of the world and God.(Two wrongs can never make right! in other words you’re not yet civillised but both looking fools!)

          • LindaRivera

There have always been a number of courageous Jews living in Israel, especially in and around beloved Jerusalem. Jews have always wanted to live in peace. Always.

          • Drakken

If us infidels are so uncivilized, how come you bloody savages are still eating sand?

      • LindaRivera

In all of history, Jerusalem/Temple Mount was Never a Holy Place for Muslims:

13th Century Arab biographer Yakut noted: “Mecca is holy to Muslims; Jerusalem is holy to the Jews.”

The conquest of Jerusalem and all Israel is a major goal of global
jihad. The Muslim claim that the Temple Mount is their third holy place is a lie. The PLO’s Palestinian National Covenant of 1964, does not mention Jerusalem even once.

Jerusalem is mentioned hundreds of times in the Jewish Bible. Not once in the Koran. At the time of Mohammad’s death, there was not a single mosque in Jerusalem.

From 1948-1967, when Jordan invaded and illegally occupied Judea, Samaria and east Jerusalem, Jordanian radio broadcast Friday prayers not from Al-Aqsa Mosque, but from a mosque in Amman, Jordan. No foreign Arab leader visited Jerusalem during the nineteen years Jordan controlled east Jerusalem.

  • EarlyBird

Unbelieveable! I am simply stunned and outraged at Obama for this betrayal of the fundamental promise of his presidency, which was to bring us back to foreign policy sanity.
He will be sending small arms to fighters who are virtually indistinguishable to Al Queda? He’s even considering getting into a “No Fly Zone” situation? As if Libya wasn’t stupid enough, he’s bungling even further into another Arab civil war.
How stupid is our president?! If I wanted a moronic war monger I would have voted for McCain.

    • Drakken

Your surprised? Gee whiz golly, if you didn’t see this coming your dumber than a bag of hammers. Looks like your hero Comrade Obummer let you down, again.

      • EarlyBird

You should be thrilled. Isn’t your dream to wage war on every “Muzzie” the world over?

        • Gee

No stupid our dream is to be left alone

        • Drakken

Whether I want something or not irrelevant , war is coming, and it will be us against them in spades. You can wish it away all you want, it still doesn’t change the facts that islam of whatever stripe is on the march, the west is showing weakness in the face of naked muslim aggression, and our leaders are in denial and are working with the very savages that will not show quarter. So please keep on wishing, for you can wish in one hand ands sh** in the other, which one are you going to fill first?

  • dansama

We SHOULD let the Muslims kill each other. Taking sides will get a lot more of us killed plus, Muslims of either side cut the throats of those who help them in gratitude.

    • EarlyBird

Dansama, the only possible silver lining I can see coming of support to the rebels is that Assad and Hezbollah seem to have been making gains lately, and the US helping the rebels might push them back a bit.
Though horrible on a human scale, an endless civil war which consumes both Hezbollah and other various Islamist fighters, and entangles Iran and Russia is not a bad thing for America.

      • dansama

Exactly. Staying out of it is a win-win situation for us.

    • ObamaYoMoma

Going to war in Syria, if it comes to that, will be exactly like going to war in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, as both sides of the jihad are our eternal enemies. Muslims are expert at manipulating our dumb ass mentally dysfunctional American politicians on both sides of the political aisle like useful idiots into fighting their jihads for them either against other Muslims, as in the case of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, or as in the case of Kosovo, against our own Christian brothers.

Nevertheless, it really doesn’t matter which side of the Syrian jihad wins, as whoever it is will still be our eternal enemy nonetheless. Hence, if we must do anything at all, let’s do what Ronald Reagan did in the Iran and Iraq War, that is assist both sides of the jihad to make the war last as long as possible! As Muslims killing Muslims is bad for Dar al Islam, but very good for Dar al Harb! Our leftist hijacked news media feigns sadness at the accumulating death toll in Syria; they should be expressing jubilation instead.

The truth is we have no business in Syria, like we also had no business in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya either.

Moreover, the following is going to sound very counterintuitive and be extremely controversial for some at the same time, but hindsight is 20/20. Nevertheless, we aided and assisted the wrong side in the 1991 Gulf War. Instead of siding with the Kuwaitis, the Gulf State Emirates, and the Saudis, we should have sided with Saddam Hussein instead. Why? It’s because Saddam Hussein, who wasn’t yet our enemy at the time, was still secular. Hence, if Bush I wouldn’t have been in bed with the Saudis and the Gulf States Emirates like he was, the USA should have let Saddam run roughshod over the Gulf States and the Saudis instead. Which would have conveniently broken the back of Sunni Islam and destroyed at the same time the stealth global jihad that is on the verge of taking over Europe and still torments the world so much today. Think about it, there never would have been a 9/11/2001 jihad attack.

Furthermore, had Saddam won, he would have been very happy to sell us his newly acquired oil to recoup the cost of his military excursion. Meanwhile, his antiquated 1950′s era military hardly constituted a real and existential threat to the USA. Indeed, had Bush I had half a brain, he would have made Saddam promise to leave Israel alone in return for the USA budding out altogether. But instead Bush I was played by the Saudis and the Gulf States Emirates like a useful idiot fool because he is really a stealth liberal, exactly like his son, Bush II, as together they both have left the Republican Party a total train wreck and in shambles. Now today Bush III not only wants to cram amnesty down our throats, he also wants to be the next president too, I guess to put the final nail in the Republican Party coffin.

Islam is the greatest evil the world has ever known. The Middle East
was once great and peaceful, guided by Christianity
and Judaism. There were no child marriages, honor killings or female genital
mutilations or slavery. But then, a sadistic sociopath called Mohammed pretended that he had heard god talking to him,
and formed a twisted murderous cult called Islam, which means to appease and
surrender. Islam then brutally conquered the Middle East, introducing child
marriages and honor killings. Islam has inspired other evils. Marx and Hitler both visited mosques and talked with Muslim clerics before founding their ideologies. The friendship of Muslims and Nazis is a fact of history, the Nazis showed the best means to fulfil the first commandment in Islam, the first and most mentioned phrase in the Koran, to obliterate Jews. Islam is slowly crushing Western Civilization, every day Muslims impose their dietary restrictions on us and force us to give up our empty land to build bigger mosques. Even our great American traditions, such as football and Ms. America, are now stained with the evil of the Muslims. It is time to make Islam a capital crime in America! All who break it should be sent to GITMO, no matter who they are or what office they hold!

    • Ahmed K

Don’t waste your tim and words ,the best challenge is to convert to a muslim and what you have to recite is simple (ASHA HADU ALLAH ILLAH ILLA LAHH WA ASH HADU ANNA MUHAMMAD RASHUR LLAH) Means nothing great but Allah and prophet Muhammad is his messenger. This is simple kind revolution for Islamic success though Ottoman failed ,but one word Allah eventually is going to be recited (golden medals are never cheap sometimes it involves bathing blood!)

      • Drakken

We infidels will convert to your bloody devils cult when hell freezes over and stacks of your dead bodies. Remember the words Deo Volente muslim, for you shall see them again. God bless the Crusades.

Hillary Clinton – We created Al-Qaeda the group spreading terror
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hd-C_P3xB8

US/NATO waged war for months for Al Qaeda and other terrorists in Libya. This is not surprising because the U.S. created Al Qaeda.

Gaddafi was fighting AGAINST Al Qaeda.

It is reported only 10% of Syria’s people support the terrorists in Syria. 90% of Syrians support Syria’s government. The US is supporting Al Qaeda and other terrorists in Syria. The U.S. is making war on the people of Syria. In country after country, the U.S. constantly takes the side of the most violent, cruel terrorists deliberately making the world a far more dangerous place.

What Muslims do in Muslim countries is NONE of our business! Get our military out of Afghanistan and keep our military out of other Muslim countries!

    • EarlyBird

We didn’t “create” Al Queda. Evil people hopped up on an evil theology did.

      • LindaRivera

Tell that to Clinton! Clinton is the one who said U.S. leaders created Al Qaeda!

        • EarlyBird

I can read, hear and understand the words coming from AQ, and their main fury against us is for having physically had troops on the “holy” Saudi peninsula, our backing of Israel and our general meddling in the Arab world. I can see the relationship also between aiding the Taliban in the ’80s against the USSR, and our ultimately weaponizing of AQ there.
What I object to is Clinton’s and others’ arguments that we “created” this death cult. I understand AQ is a reaction to us, but it is made up of real live conscious human beings who are choosing to commit evil, so I blame them.

    • ObamaYoMoma

Muslims aren’t terrorists, they are jihadists instead, and jihad is the highest pillar of Islam and a holy obligation incumbent upon all Muslims. Hillary is a loon.

  • Jsjk

Syria may superficially resemble Libya, but the differences may outweigh the similarities. Yes, Obama (in his idiocy) thinks it is a grand thing to have the Muslim Brotherhood Islamic fanatics replacing Assad (just as Obama thought in Libya). But the Syrian regime (unlike Libya) has friends and is backed by both Iran and Russia. Thus there is a very real potential for escalation. And if the Obozo decides on a “no fly zone” who do you think will be piloting the planes? That would be Americans. It is beyond time to impeach Obama!

  • EarlyBird

Of course a Front Page Rag headline would ask: “Syria: the next Lybia?”, and not, “Syria, the next Iraq”? Because in this right wing bubble Lybia was the Greatest Foreign Policy Disaster Ever, while Iraq never happened, or it was a glowing success until Obama wrecked it, or because it was worth it all because we got rid of a bad guy…or because Republicans are tough on terror or….
    Ridiculous hackery.

  • aposematic

Bush went to war in Iraq deposing a Sunni Muslim President, replaced with a Shia Muslim President. Ridding Iran’s Shia of their Sunni enemy. Obuma helps Sunni Muslims (as a favor to Saudi Princes) take over Egypt and Libya. Now giving up any pretense for open support of the Sunni takeover of Syria. All of this Sunni support is, if you care to take off your rose colored glasses, supporting Al Qaida, a designated terrorist Org. responsible for 911) via The Muslim Brotherhood. To say America’s foreign policy is dysfunctional is so vast an understatement as to be itself almost as pathetic as the policy.

  • Ahmed K

No this will cause you any worry like Libyans failed, because the government force need to take off their combat uniforms and create a new justified plain wing like rebels or civillians. They have to engage in the rebel occupied areas with similar ammunitions like those provided by Americans to rebels, this will help to wipe out all foreign aided entrenches one by one. This will teach a good lesson for Americans and allies to stop killing innocent people in the Middle East enough is enough its not a war of democracy but for power they intend to produce films for sale.

  • georgejochnowitz

With more weapons, Sunnis will now be able to blow up more Shiite mosques.

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/168985
If ever the Temple Mount is under the control of the Arabs, rival Muslim groups will blow up al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. If this happens, Israel will be blamed, as it always is for anything bad that happens in the Arab world.

Using biological weapons on his people? He should be held accountable and it is time our commander reams out those in this country doing the same. Time to clean house! Put the money where it belongs and not in the hands of corporate contractors.
