It's the same soft bigotry of low expectations we see directed at Muslims and others. As we can determine from such blatant double-standards coming from the Left, the illegal-immigrant issue (like so many others) it's not about justice, or ethics, or anything they claim it to be. It's about power....the building of a "new majority"...and this last election was a tell-tale exemplar of what they hope and expect. but the right in the States is not better, listen to Raul Paul who is against e-verify who thinks employers should be able to hire who they want. Also, Paul likes guestworker programs. You hear the beef the border but no matter how you beef the border some illegals will come and cutting the job magnet is the only way to get tem to self-deport.

I would love to have anyone that is for legalizing the illegal aliens here in the U.S. to tell me how they intend to find the thousands of Middle Eastern illegal alien terrorists that has entered the U.S. since BEFORE 9/11? These fine folks traveled to advanced terrorism training centers in Syria, Iran, Brazil, Paraguay, or Venezuela to learn English, Spanish and advanced terrorism techniques before paying $40,000 to cross over or under the border. They go to Travis County, Texas to have their names changed and they vanish into terrorist cells around military installations, high value and strategic important facilities.
We will fix the immigration problem when our useless politicians begin holding hearings on our enemy, the same enemy Obama, Bush, Clinton and others have ignored and that is the Muslim Brotherhood. If you would like to read their plan simply order a copy of it from Amazon. The document, An Explanatory Memorandum From the Archives of the Muslim Brotherhood in America was presented in the largest terrorist fundraising trial in our history and that was the Holy Land Foundation trail. The documents the Muslim Brotherhood developed on how to destroy is was uncontested in trial and the appeals process however, the Obama administration DOJ has refused to prosecute the unindicted co-conspirators in it. Both the House and Senate refuse to hold hearings on it. Why?

Agreed too. It is another form of appeasement just like the appeasement to that Sharia ideology of Islam. What ever happened to the principle of reciprocity? What is good for me is good for you and visa verso. It is well past due that actions based on reciprocity become the norm instead of appeasement. Then America will start clawing back some international and national respect.

Unlike the American Constitution, which largely grants legal immigrants and naturalized citizens the same rights as Americans, the Mexican Constitution doesn't. The Mexican Constitution doesn't allow immigrants, naturalized citizens or foreigners at large to comment on the political life of Mexico. The constitution itself bans immigrants and naturalized citizens from owning property, serving in the armed forces or as members of the clergy. They can't run for office or be elected to ANY governmental position. And how they treat illegal immigrants in Mexico, forget it. They just throw them out without any legal recourse.
That's not how things are done in the United States. For the most part a legal immigrant or naturalized citizen is largely treated with all the rights and privileges Americans enjoy. They can own property, serve in the armed forces or as members of the clergy. They can run for just about any office or governmental position they want. In fact, the only position an immigrant or naturalized citizen CAN'T run for is President of the United States. And the Mexican government is TELLING US how WE can enforce OUR immigration laws? Maybe they should look at their own laws before telling us how we enforce ours.
