How David Horowitz Revealed the Truth about Ralph Miliband’s Legacy

dh-speakingVisit PJMedia.

You may not know the name Ralph Miliband, but by now, the late Marxist professor is a household name in the UK. He was the father of the Labor Party’s leader and possible future PM, Ed Miliband. When the conservative Daily Mail ran a story about the father’s influence on his son, the controversy began.

It started with an Oct.1 story by Geoffrey Levy, in which the journalist wrote that young Ed wants nothing less than to fulfill his father’s dreams, and return England from the legacy left by Margaret  Thatcher to a new 21st Century socialism. “Ed is now determined to bring about that vision,” Levy writes. “How proud Ralph would have been to hear him responding the other day to a man in the street who asked when he was ‘going to bring back socialism’ with the words: ‘That’s what we are doing, sir.’”

Ed Miliband’s father, the story continues, was a full-throated Marxist, committed to nationalization and harsh socialist policies. Levy paints the senior Miliband as a man who hated the country he adopted as his own when he sought refuge from Nazi Germany, a man who was critical of the Soviet Union but still believed it was socialist, and who thought Gorbachev had successfully “democratized” Soviet society. Nothing had changed in his belief system, he wrote, since the time when as a young man, he made the pilgrimage to Karl Marx’s grave in 1940, when he wrote that “I remember standing in front of the grave, fist clenched, and swearing my own private oath that I would be faithful to the workers’ cause’”. Now Miliband is buried in a grave 12 short yards from Marx’s grave, and his tombstone bares the inscription “Writer Teacher Socialist.” He had dedicated his life, he wrote near the end of his life, to realizing the socialist dream, and preparing the ground for “such an alternative.” With Ed as Prime Minister, Levy concludes, “perhaps that ground is indeed now being prepared.”

That one article began the fierce war of words. Ed Miliband told the press that he found the story “appalling,” and “responded by accusing the paper of peddling “a lie” and trying to ‘besmirch and undermine’ his dead father for political ends.” He wrote: “Fierce debate about politics does not justify character assassination of my father, questioning the patriotism of a man who risked his life for our country in the Second World War or publishing a picture of his gravestone with a tasteless pun about him being a ‘grave socialist’”.

What’s the matter, Radosh? Cat still got your tongue regarding the fact that your hit job on Diana West has now been exposed for the worthless garbage it is by such figures as Vladimir Bukovsky?

    • truebearing

Oh look! It’s one of those blithering Westlings, still carrying on over a book review that has nothing to do with them personally….other than its treasured place in their OCD priority list.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Eric-Paddon/100001252965548 Eric Paddon

Just merely noting how the silence has been deafening from Radosh since those with more competence than he weighed in.

        • truebearing

Is this all you do? Are you aware that there are many things that are more important than carping over a book review? Get over it. It wasn’t your book being reviewed and everyone is tired of whining Westlings.

    • cynthia curran

Radosh I disagree with on the issues but Radosh is correct West is too much into conspiracy and Radosh is correct Ron Paul and company that belong to the birchers and so forth were incorrect on Eisenhower. Eisenhower had more guts than Reagan since he deported 2 million illegal immigrants while Mr Paul opposes e-verify since it forces business interest to check their workers. Why does the Tea Party like the Pauls who are paleo-cons that all they want to do is break up the USAinto different states and opposed free trade because they like Pat Buchanan live in a fantasy that everyone will work in a factory again. In fact automation and robots are even reducing the jobs in China. In fact companies are coming back anyway to the US since robots are cheaper than foreign labor. There is a demand for machinists but not assembly work. You can not make 25 per hr working in a factory by doing an assembly job anymore its more like 9 to 15 per hr.

  • truebearing

Ed Miliband wants to fulfill his father’s dreams? Perhaps he should write a book filled with lies and call it, “Dreams of My Father.” It sounds familiar.

Could the contrast between Ed Miliband and David Horowitz be more stark? Horowitz allowed empirical and intellectual truth to pierce the ideological veil of Marxism, while Ed Miliband marches on proudly, bearing the standard of his father’s delusions, ignoring the horrors that have resulted from those delusions, and hoping to inflict Britain with the same evil.

    • monodist

Horowitz just got old and saw more money in being a conservative post 9/11. End of.

      • davarino

Thats funny. Your saying David is rich beyond his wildest dreams?
So, like Ralph Miliband, you give a non answer and no critical reply to the real questions concerning socialism/marxism that David raises.

        • monodist

This is a classic. To answer you question: No I am am not saying “David is rich beyond his wildest dreams”. Had I wanted to say that, instead of what I did state, it would have looked a bit more like “David is rich beyond his wildest dreams”.

          • reader

You keep avoiding the point, though. You think that it looks clever, but it does not. It loos like you passed gas in a crowd and complain the loudest. In fact, with the so-called main stream media being completely in the pocket of big government Democrat sponsors, the “progressive” narrative is far more lucrative that conservative one.

          • glennd1

Indeed. What this boorish buffoon doesn’t seem to know is that he “elite” in our country is twice as Progressive as the general population (elite being top 20% of income earners). We now have the society the impossibly conflicted and unrealistic people have wrought – and it’s clearly unworkable. But like any good leftist, Progressive’s keep “two sets of books” – one for their enemies and one for themselves.

          • monodist

Do you mean the books that empirically show the Red State Socialism we progressives are forced to pay for?

            Those books?

          • glennd1

Clever sniping is no substitute for solid reasoning. Now we are on to the Republican Socialism, oh, okay. Absurd constructs like this only reveal your anti-intellectualism.

Red States Take More Money From Washington Than They Put In

            Additionally:

            • 11 of the 15 “federal welfare” states, those that get back more than $1.00 for every $1.00 they send to the federal government, are Red States; U.S. Census Bureau and Congressional Budget Office

            • 9 of the 10 states with the lowest percentages of college graduates are Red States; The Lumina Foundation for Education

            • 12 of the 15 states with the highest high school drop-out states are Red States; National Center for Education Statistics, and the 7 states with the highest high school drop-out rates are Red States; National Education Association

            • The 10 poorest states are Red States; Deseret News, Fox News

            • The 12 states with the highest rates of credit card debt relative to income are Red States; Equifax

            Absurd constructs? Pray tell.

          • reader

Well, I can tell that your post is staffed with bogus stats by randomly googling ” the 10 poorest states.” To rank the states, median income figures are used, and these figures are adjusted only for inflation. But they are not normalized by the cost of living. In other words, the “poor” in Alabama live in much better homes than the poor in NYC, for example. Of course, to be a marxist you must be an economic illiterate. That’s a scientific fact.

          • monodist

            I swear, I haven’t hired a bogus stat in months…lay off, ‘kay?

          • reader

          • monodist

            Oh….I’ve had offers ;)

          • cynthia curran

That’s true but Alabama still has a poverty issue. Some places still have folks living in shacks. New York is very expensive and yes there are immigrants that live in overcrowded housing in apartments. The left is right some parts of Kentucky and West Virginia and Mississippi are poor but they ignore the poverty issues in New York City or Los Angeles which are a result particularly in Los Angeles of a lot of low skilled immirgation where there are not enough jobs for low skilled people. For example, La unemployment rate is 11 while Manhattan Beach a city mainly white is only 4 percent.

          • Drakken

So do you know what those red state stats don’t reflect and why they are the poorest? Here, I’ll give you a clue, the major cities in those red states are run by you bloody regressive demoncrats and are minority run, but thanks for playing Sparky, I do hope that the check your cashing from Obummer and company helps you sleep at night.

          • monodist

What are you talking about, all southern whites don’t live in the major cities, do they?

          • Drakken

Exactly my point which you obviously missed.

          • truebearing

Politifact? They are a joke. National Education Association? More leftists.

Which cities are most deeply in debt? Those run by the Left. Which states have the most debt? Those where commies rule. Which regimes have murdered the the most citizens? Those ruled by Marxists.

You shouldn’t keep bringing up education. It’s bad salesmanship. Since the Left has gotten control of the public school agenda, through teacher’s unions and indoctrination at our colleges and universities, students have steadily declined in competetitiveness with other nations. Many who graduate high school can barely read or write, and the worst schools are ALL in blue states.

Your politifacts are either false or intentionally distorted by your sources for political reasons. Ahhh, the lying Left.

          • cynthia curran

Not really, the Blue states are probably better than the Red States since they have a little less minorities. The best red states are North Dakota and Utah and Wyoming. The right spends too much cheering Texas which doesn’t do as well since about 50 percent of the students are Hispanic. In fact Hispanics get a better education in tiny Wyoming since there are no barrios.

          • cynthia curran

Well, a lot of Red States have minorities and there is a gap between Hispanics in Texas versus Whites. Education isn’t the best measure since Alaska a state that has high paying blue collar jobs has a lower poverty rate than Connecticut. Connecticut has some low income inner city places while Alaska has some rural Eskimo poverty. The best states are not the highest educated for income and poverty but states with less minorities or whites that don’t have a large underclass like West Virginia. New Hempshire, Nebraska, Alaska, North Dakota, Vermont, Utah, Minnesota and so forth. They may not have the highest incomes like the Northeast or educational levels but certainly not the lowest. and Utah has a lower poverty rate than New York. In fact Oregon has one of the highest Bachelor graduates but not enough decent jobs., Instead of the Northeast versus the South why not the problems of both the Northeast and the South versus other states. In fact New York is 9th in college graduation but only 32 in high school. New York like Texas and California has a lot of poor foreign born that makes stats worst.

          • cynthia curran

Also, liberal Democrats who are concern about wages being downward have supported changing the Demographics of both California and New York which has not work out that well. The South needs to do better with the black population this is true, but to think as many liberal Democrats that changing a state from Majority white to Hispanic doesn’t have some negative effects like California and New York has experianced is to ignore reality. The stats Dems use to against Red States usually have low minority populations but Democrats are supposed to be for minorities. No liberal Democratic wants to cite that light Blue New Hempshire beats out Mass and New York for lower poverty.

You thrust it on the collective- now you pay. Its called poetic justice.

          • monodist

This is a classic. Not only are the left socialists, they created the social safety net programs and then forced otherwise good christian conservatives to apply for and live off these programs in all the red states…Is this about right?

I’m surprised to learn of this, because y’all had so much to say about the motivations of those who participate in these evil programs, now that we find out that ‘those folks’ are ‘you folks’, we have to say ‘we forced you’. Okay…I’m gettin’ it.

          • truebearing

All citizens are forced to pay for the programs, pinhead.

The Left creates entitlements to foster dependency and control. Unfortunately, too many people attend schools run by leftists, so they don’t learn about your sordid, evil history of treachery and failure.

          • truebearing

You mean the socialism that you Regressives imposed on Red States? Don’t forget who BS’d the American people into those programs to begin with.

If only Progressives were forced to pay their due for the socialism infecting this nation.

          • aspacia

Das Kapital, no land ownership, forced work with no pay–that is the current leftist agenda with Zero/0. I have good health insurance for the time being, but it will soon disappear.

          • monodist

You are right. Therefore I concede. Horowitz is not now, nor has he ever been, a purposeful construct that was designed and executed in the finest traditions of book selling and book promotion meant to make a living out of as singular and fictional an event as his “conversion” to lunacy. Never.

            Happy now?

          • http://www.themadjewess.com/ The Mad Jewess

Lunacy is ‘liberalism’… where in Califorinication, it reigns supreme: Young girls and boys go to the restroom in the same place because they have no gender. THAT is the definition of koo koo.

          • cynthia curran

Well, I get tired of high great Texas is, its got poverty issues as well and Mr Perry does not want to crack down on business that hire illegal immigrants. I like Utah better than Texas but to every Tea party person it has to be Texas or Louisiana.

          • reader

Exactly. If only he tried to promote “progressive” ideas, he would have NYT and WaPo “reviewers” falling over to pitch his books. Not to mention Hollywood producers.

        • truebearing

He can’t. Truth is toxic to him. If he attempts to refute David, he will then take a position that can easily, and in his case, extremely easily, be refuted. In the refutation is the truth he must avoid at all costs. That is why Alinsky advised leftists to avoid debates and just lie their fool heads off.

      • glennd1

Giggling at your absurdity. Try at least sticking to the basic facts. Horowitz’s well documented journey away from the socialist ideal started in the ’70s. He documented that journey in his ’97 book. All pre-dating 9/11 by a very wide margin.

It’s sad to me that you, and those like you, cannot focus on Horowitz’s well known, actual reasons for leaving the left. Sadly, I think Horowitz is more anti-left than he is truly liberal in some ways. as his unrepentant Zionism is a truly blind spot for an otherwise brilliant and intensely moral man. I’m happy to criticize him for that – based on facts, not weak hyperbole as you’ve done above.

Care to have an actual argument, or do you assume your innate superiority and just dispense with all they yukky logic stuff that gets in the way of your moralistic preening?

        • monodist

…do you assume your innate superiority

Yes and no. Superior, yes. Innate, no..auto-didactically enhanced from Gary Indiana Polish steelworker gene pool.

Care to have an actual argument

No. I consider myself more of a catalyst, a sniper if you will. On a dangerous mission behind ideological lines, collecting intelligence and letting off the occasional round to help y’all avoid the complacency that all to often affects the long term minority. I’d actually hate to see you supplant minorities as the permanent underclass just yet, I’d prefer to see more of a slow and gradual weaning away from relevancy and power. A sad and elegiac pace seems fitting, one redolent of what once was.

That and my preening *tee-hee* takes up so much time these days. As you might remember, the American Eagle is quite a large bird and if not kept assiduously groomed, can easily show signs of wear and the dirt that can only be transferred by the reactionary lunacy of right-wing terrorists.

          • glennd1

Preening indeed. So much noise and posturing, but so little sense and substance. I’m sure it amuses you – which seems to be your purpose anyway as you admit to being one who takes cheap shots from the cheap seats as a primary activity (referring to yourself as a sniper).

As for “reactionary lunacy of right-wing terrorists”, that just makes me giggle. Restoring the great liberal democracy that we were founded to be, as described by our constitution, is not lunacy. And of course, terrorism is violence (actual violence) committed upon innocents for the purpose of political change. Where do you see that happening in the U.S.? Answer: Nowhere.

You live in a fantasy world, like most leftists. What’s even sadder is that I can tell by your use of language that you aren’t dumb, but instead have chosen to adhere to a failed political ideology that can only exist as a critique and a complaint. There is no “there” there for leftists, it’s all just a pose. And you seem to have that pose down pat. How gratifying it must be for you – even if it is a pathetic way to waste a mind and a life.

You must know in your heart of hearts that what you believe is nonsense, yes? That your dreams for the moral salvation of society by the state are absurd, and that your fantasies about all who oppose you being fascists is utter bunk, right? I mean, you can’t really believe that, can you? You must see the real world around you, right? You must understand that your ideas have no connection to the real, occurring world when you walk around and see the goodness that our liberal way of life has provided for billions of human beings, yes?

Today’s Tea Partiers are the liberals of yesteryear whereas you are a member of a movement that has already failed. Sadly, you are left longing for a totalitarian magic wand like an infant searching for the nipple, full of complaint and fury, but with absolutely nothing to offer of value. Just like Marx when the founders of New Harmony wrote him for advice on how to implement socialism, you have no truck with the real world – and sneer at it instead.

Sad for you, but sadder for us that so many adult-children like yourself exist. I wonder, will you ever grow up?

          • monodist

If growing up means showing my concern for my fellow man by whining about the amount of my taxes that go to governmental programs with which I disagree and that our society has decided are beneficial to the commonwealth, then no.

If by seeing the real world around me you mean that I, like you, must lie to myself about the viability, popularity and moral value of my political tribe, I reject your notion of what is real.

I think most rational people would agree that the incessant and infantile keening about an election just recently lost and the demographic propensity to lose elections into the foreseeable future, would more accurately describe the conservatives with whom you associate yourself.

Breathing the rarefied air in the fantasy bubble which you inhabit has you convinced that those electoral rejections by the majority are not due to the ideological bankruptcy of your politics but to every conceivable and imaginary outside influence that allows you to avoid responsibility for said bankruptcy. And now, these same sad and sorry sore losers are threatening sedition and revolution as a viable alternative to our democracy because they cannot reconcile their (your) role as the loyal opposition with their fallacious conception of patriotism and the constitutionally prescribed remedies and methods of redress for your grievances about how the nation is run. All this under the disingenuous guise of “Restoring the great liberal democracy.” Your conservative exceptionalism, which has caused the current ruinous state of your political party, is second to none in it’s arrogance and refusal to accept defeat by the majority. You are indeed the very essence of a dangerous, seditious and reactionary movement, by it’s nature quintessentially at odds with the founding principles of our nation.

I take heart in the fact that the near term future of our republic is not in your hands.

          • glennd1

And your ilk are doing such a good job with it, lol. You don’t even see how absurd your positions our. You claim the bankruptcy of our nation is due to the right, as though the right has built our social democracy instead of fighting it every inch of the way. Again, your comportment with the real, occurring, fact-based world is missing. We are going to go bankrupt due to social security, medicare and medicated, now ACA. The “curve” Obama promised to “bend” has already been shattered – before getting out of the gate. This is the fault of the right? I’ll stop now as you are hermetically sealed off from any falsification of your bizarre, baseless beliefs. Have fun jacking off to Lawrence O’Donnell.

Not to be a jerk about it, but you are fighting a straw man. • truebearing

Your grandiloquence cannot mask your evil will. Your motor runs on the standard operating fuel of all leftists: hate, envy, and lies. That your failed ideology has yet to work, but fails spectacularly with every attempt, leaves you bitter and viciously vindictive. Your faith in your cult has withered into a twisted, malevolent cynicism that now sees Marxism as a method of punishing those who saw through its inherent lies, no longer a credible utopian ideology. I guess retributive justice has degenerated into sadistic retribution. The historical dialectic is stuck in the cul-de-sac of irrefutable failure.

Is your sadistic desire to see America fail — the most equal and prosperous nation in history — simply motivated by perverse ideological competitiveness, or by a warped desire to finally see the antithesis to communism fail so that you don’t have to feel so bad about your own miserable legacy? In your paroxysm of revenge you have apparently missed the key reason for why America is now in trouble: too many people following the same failed, regressive ideology that you kling to. Once again, you will be deprived of a victory and will be forced to chalk up yet another failure to Marxism, and the blind, malicious fools who adhere to its utter failure.

Your delusions of intellectual and moral superiority are especially laughable, and disturbing. You are posessed with hate and take pleasure in watching failure and suffering. That is moral sickness — political sociopathy — and your intellectual paucity is proven by your continued adherence to an ideology that has been repeatedly proven to be a lie and massive failure. 150,000,000 democides by Marxist regimes are the ultimate proof.

          • monodist

Please, for the sake of your family, if you have one, if not your own, educate yourself about psychological projection. Do they not teach Freud in voucher universities?

          • truebearing

I’m not the one gloating over the failure of America, or the suffering it would cause.

I know the modern definition of “projection.” It is what Leftists do every time they accuse the Right of something, eg. when Hillary Clinton came up with her idiotic “vast rightwing conspiracy,” even as she was scheming with George Soros and John Podesta on a Leftwing conspiracy to create the Shadow government that is now Obama’s real cabinet.

Freud? I admit, I laughed at the idea that a Marxist had even a superficial knowledge of psychology. You certainly didn’t learn anything about human psychology from Marx. Freud is hardly cutting edge, but at least you admitted that all behavior isn’t somehow derived from one’s relationship to the means of production.

You lefties really do like to live in the past…despite all of that nonsense about being progressive. You’re still stuck in the 19th Century, pretending the 20th Century never happened. You would do well to find yourself one of those voucher universities. They might teach you how to think for yourself.

          • Drakken

When us whitey types are no longer running things in this country, welcome to the 3rd world and you leftist scumbags will be at fault. Congratulations, you regressive commi’s will have run this country into 3rd world levels when that happens.

Soros is worth 20 billion, alone, and he is just one of many. Don’t bother trying to hoodwink your intellectual superiors with commie talking points. We aren’t the uneducated nit wits that fall for your propaganda.

        • monodist

Respectfully, read down a bit. I conceded this point.

          • truebearing

You don’t do anything respectfully, and i made more than one point.

      • SCREW SOCIALISM

“progressives” and their slimey 9/11 Troofers saw more petro dollars from OPEC after 9/11.

What is “progressive” about siding with REGRESSIVE Islamists?

        • monodist

I’d be more than happy to reply, but I honestly and truly can’t understand what you’re on about. I know, that’s my fault too, I get it…

      • Kalman42

This sounds like Alinsky like logic.

Horowitz had absolutely NOTHING to do with the recent row over the Daily Mail’s revelations about Millibands fathers politics. Furthermore, the misleading headline of this article is nothing more than a useful idiot’s attempt to gull low-info voters into granting further relevance to the perennially irrelevant Horowitz and Radosh. But a big Pravda “A” for effort.

    • truebearing

      Says a useful idiot….

      • ColoursFed

just what I was saying! stand in front of me and say those words, you left wing coward,

    • ColoursFed

You have nothing constructive to write, never have, and I think never will have, only your liberal political views, which we all know to be crap.

      • monodist

But, that was constructive or destructive?….I’m confused by your game of 3-D chess…

Ralph Milibrand ‘hated’ the country that adopted him so much that he saw 3 years active service in the Royal Navy as a non-commissioned officer, and took part in both the Normandy and Toulon landings. His stance in opposing European fascism is in contrast to that of the Daily Mail, which lauded the activities of English fascists in the 30’s. Was the elder Milibrand critical of English society as a refugee? Of course he was. His opposition to English nationalism and also English anti-semitism is on record. That the Daily Mail has launched a mean-spirited and politically motivated attack on a war-veteran whose politics was radical, and whose son is now a Labor leader, is very typical of that newspaper.

He hated the liberal, capitalist system that England was (no longer). In that, he hated his country. He also – like all leftists – held a disdain for the workers and masses that he pretended to stand for but never delivered anything to other than empty rhetoric. You see the great “fight” post WWII western leftist intellectuals engaged in was an armchair battle fought with no losses to its adherents and cheerleaders. That he fought against the Nazis makes him nothing unique and does not relieve him and every other leftist for their guilt over everything socialism wrought. Would that he’d died a heroes death, the world would likely be a better place.

Communists and Marxists and Socialists were and are the greatest enemy of liberty and prosperity the modern world has wrought and as such, it’s promoters are enemies of liberal, free societies.

Stop defending the indefensible. It only makes you look the fool.

      • anor277

A lot of arguments by assertion here: (i) the claim that anyone other than a liberal capitalist must automatically ‘hate’ his country (a suspect claim, but which country was that? He was Belgian born, but of Polish extraction, and voluntarily served in the RN, and became an English citizen after the war), (ii) he only delivered empty rhetoric (I don’t know his details, but he had a long career as an academic in British, Canadian, and US institutions), (iii) as an academic he is somehow responsible for the crimes of the Soviet Union, and (iv) his war service was nothing unique (perhaps you don’t think this is important, but the point is he did serve – this is more than you or I did, and more than the journalists of the Daily Mail). Perhaps you should try a little harder to persuade others of the self-evidence of mere assertions. And that you wish an early death on a (long dead) war veteran is hardly defensible in itself.

what is his service number that he was given, MOD Navy do not have record of it?

        • ColoursFed

has a caseworkers for a Forces charity I do get to see this information, and could not find any thing on Miliband, has taken a commission on any of HM Ships. So lets have this information out in the open, and stop all these Marxist lies, that the labour party “HAVE STARTED”! Has working class, Miliband does not talk for me; he is from ‘scum middle class’ , like Blair, and Campbell, and are only interested in the Tory class of people, and that’s who they campaign for When is the worlds people going to demand that Blair, Campbell, Prescott, and Reed stand trial for mass murder of 1.5 million people, and face a death sentence when found guilty?

      • ColoursFed

Ed Miliband is a Polish Jew, he should go back to Poland and preach there. We English Christians, do not want his faith in our homeland, any more; he talks about socialist matter, and he is disgustingly rich; then that is what Marxist is all about, “you do not do what I do, but what I say” a despot, just like Hitler and Starlin, who liked murdering people, when will he start? Before Blair murdered 1.5 million people, for his own vanity, he murdered all our livestock, in favour of the German and French farmers, and his EU friends. What will be Milibands agenda be, should we allow him to be our PM?

    • ColoursFed

Milibands father is not a war vet, MOD Navy have no trace of any service number given to him?

      • anor277

As far as I know, records of military service are not available to 3rd parties in the UK. Should there be doubts as to the elder Milibrand’s record, I have no doubt the Daily Mail will emblazon an article with +16 point type entitled ‘DESPICABLE LIE’. No such article has appeared so far. Perhaps the Mail will institute a Swift Boat campaign.

  • ColoursFed

had Milibands father served in the Royal navy, he would have been given a service number, there is not such number found at MOD Navy? All members of HM Forces are given these numbers, when enlisting, and it is still in force this day! What makes me angry about this lie, that the scum Milliband’s has had published by the corrupt British media, is that they called him an Hero? My father and hundreds of thousands his comrades were sent to Norway to fight the Nazi Germans, (only one part of the world they sent them to fight), and the heaviest weapon they had was light machine guns? My father and his friends were withdrawn, by sea and was swimming his way back home to England; the ship that he was loaded on to got sunk, and that happened three times. The forth time he was picked out of the sea was by a RN Destroyer. Not at any time have these disgusting labour party scum ever called him and his buddies an Hero. he went back into training and was posted back into the war, again to fight he Germans.

Has a ex British soldier of 22 years my self, I do not believe Miliband and the lies that the left had published about this disgusting Marxist, where was Ed Miliband, and his brother, when I were serving to defend my homeland, and bleeding for our democracy. No! Miliband you will not become the Prime Minister of my home land. 400000 of us have stated on oath that it is not going to happen.
