Mass Anarchy Descending on Syria

Syrian rebels flash 'victory signs' in AleppoIn Syria, immense anarchy is arising ever so quickly, foreshadowing a mass chaos which will soon take over the nation. Executions are being perpetrated  in the streets. Here is one video showing an execution of multiple people on a downtown plaza with many spectators:

Anarchy is coming, and its only going to be replaced by the Muslim Brotherhood. Syria will then go right into the hands of Turkey, whose past Ottoman empire the Turks are striving to revive. A horrid holocaust of Christians will take place in the near future.

Meanwhile, weapons are being sent to the Syrian rebels, to whom McCain recently paid a visit. Training sessions are being conducted for the jihadists amongst the rebels.

Why is this happening? It is clear that Obama does not want to appear as another Bush, and so he wants to arm the Syrian rebels so that they can be strong enough to oust Assad. But, as of yet, Assad is still in power.

The US, Britain, NATO, Turkey, and France want Assad gone and are supporting the rebellion for this to happen. But, if the rebellion is unable to accomplish this in its current state, the Western allies, alongside Turkey, will most likely utilize NATO (as they did with Gaddafi) to execute a vicious strike on Syria, and once Assad is helpless, the rebels will be permitted to execute him.

With this done, Obama could say that the “Syrian people” have overthrown a tyrant. This is what happened with Saddam and very recently — and similarly — with Mubarak (with the exception that they have not killed him, at least not yet).

As I have predicted before, Syria will eventually be left to the Muslim Brotherhood, and ultimately, to Turkey, which will, in turn, diplomatically and slowly wrest Syria into its power with the appearance of making sure that Syria has a smooth political transition to a new regime. There will be much talk of peace, but with Syria in Turkey’s grasp, there will a grave threat to the West and free peoples everywhere.

The anarchy is spilling onto my northern front, and this is not just a back bencher's theory, it is actual fact –

And when one has a suitcase filled with gas masks for the family, plus non-perishables stocked for weeks to come, one is seriously in the cross hairs, regardless of Obama's "leading from behind"!

Obama is not the leader of Israel. His job is to protect the interest of Americans, not Israelis. Good luck, I hope you don't get gassed.

Assad is bad, his father was worse but the current mess once referred to as Syria is the most dangerous threat to Israel since its re-birth in 1948 & unfortunately I believe that its going to get much much worse before its gets better.
The belligerence from Israels enemies is greater than any point in history & sooner or later some idiot is going to mis-calculate & the possibility of chem weapons being used is very real. The how & when is the unknown but the result is a little more certain, Israels response will be decisive & devastating.
I have been very critical of Israel constantly being to soft & patient in dealing with aggression however, I feel that the mood within Israel is changing & patience is wearing thin. I pray that cooler heads will prevail, but were talking about Islam & as sane people know, there is not a single rational throughout within the Islamic world.

Let's assume for a moment that Assad falls and a crazed Islamist government takes over. Then what? Will it really be more dangerous to Israel than Assad's Syria has been? If a broken Syria ends up with a band of nutjobs who use some toxic gas on Israelis, the IDF obliterates what's left of Syria.

A post-Assad Syria will be an economic, infrastructure and military basket case. And it won't have any professional soldiers running the military either. It may bark a lot louder than Assad's Syria, but would have only a tiny bit of its bite.

      • Snorbak

I agree except that I believe that its bite will be worse than its bark. The fact that post Assad, Syria will be a basket case free for all similar to Iraq, is what most troubles me. There will be absolutely no oversight or regulation of the Chem weapons & when, not if, these are placed in the hands of people consumed by hatred, rational thought will go out the window.

The disintegration of syria is a good thing as long as Israel's northern border with syria and lebanon is secure and no one can do that besides the Israelis themselves. It would also be helpful if the conflict between assad the bad and the sunni opposition (worse than bad) continues for some time to come. It will be difficult for either side to focus on Israel if they are consumed with slaughtering one another.

    • EarlyBird

I wouldn't mind Hezbollah and Syrian revolutionaries knocked seven shades of s**t out of each for another few years.

Hmmm, Let me think a bit…

Assad kills fellow Syrians, but Assad is Alawite and Alawites are not murdering Christians or Jews?
Sunnis and Shia kill each other and Christians and Jews.
Erdogan changes all the Secular views to Sectarian views – Kemal Attaturk must be rolling!
Egypt was once a very Christian country, but is now very Islamic.
Palestine was never a country, but now has a Flag. like a Country, flying in the U.S.
The U.S. has oil, coal, hydro, wind, LNG, etc, but we rely on Mid-East oil production.
A new Caliphate is on the horizon, but we permit Islamic radicals into the U.S.

And I used to think Saddam, Mubarak, Qadafi, and Assad were bad guys

  • Parenthetical Phrase

I think we are living in the most dangerous time in history. God help those of us who see the catastrophe but can do nothing about it but pray. What do we do? Obama's foreign policy is like a bull in a china shop. It creates such havoc and most Americans either can't see it or don't care. I hate to say it but America is going to feel the pain for all the mistakes our government has made. I hope heaven is a nice place because a lot of people are going there real soon, I fear.
