"...the American left would have to be
delusional to believe that ObamaCare, an economy that benefits Wall
Street at Main Street’s expense, a fantastically incoherent foreign
policy, and the numerous scandals that afflict the Obama administration,
don’t accrue to the benefit of the GOP."

I find it incredible, given the above statement, that Republicans can't run away with all 11 Senate seats up for election in 2014. I think this says more about the dysfunction in the Republican Party and its inability to arouse enthusiasm and support for its policies and candidates.

If a Republican President had so many failures, disappointments, scandals as Obama has had, Silver and media pundits would be readying the casket for the slaughter of the Republican candidates.

"Unsurprisingly, Democrats were not amused. Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) executive director Guy Cecil fired back in a memo released yesterday morning."

It's amazing how quickly the Left pounces on comments which it finds objectionable or 'offensive'. This suggests that they are in defensive mode all the time, even paranoid, about anything negative or critical. It's almost as if they were fighting a war they desperately need to win. Their sentries are constantly watching for the enemy with their fingers on the trigger. You would think they'd make good soldiers if they didn't fear losing their lives so much.

The spoilers are those who would rather make a point than defeat Democrats.
We saw fringe candidates especially in Missouri lose to a low in the poll Democrat because the fringe candidate opened his mouth with an insane comment that no one could accept from either side.

Also the comment re Scott Brown not correct.
Brown's family background in New Hampshire
goes back to the 1600s. His parents were living in NH when he was born
across the line at Portsmouth, Maine. Brown has long had a
summer home in NH.

The SEIU, Newt Black Panters, and legions of criminal aliens with fake voter registrations will have something to say about Mr. Silver's prediction.
Next, of course, there are the hordes of the ignorant who receive voting instructions on their 0bamaphones that must be considered.
Finally, there are the disenchanted conservatives who see no mission in going to vote when it means either voting for a confessed socialist or someone running on the Repubikan wing of the Deficrap Partly.
There remains MUCH work to do! If your Repubikan has a conservative challenger (e.g. Matt Bevans, KY, running against Myth McConartist), by all means get out and work for them. This election will tell the tale!
