Can I stick this in here? We all know that old folk have nothing to offer and are naught but a decomposing stinky old drain on resources and need to be phased out before we all sink under the weight of their shear numbers. In the interim, and before these senile brains are extinguished forever, perhaps we could share some of their thoughts:

We need to stop the (dare I say) the herd mentality of voters. Really, how is it that blacks only vote for Democrats? Is it mere laziness? Have they been sold a bill of goods? Is it perpetual victimization? I can't agree with comparing the Tea Party to the ginned up OWS. The differences are so stark as to try to compare chimpanzees to humans (my apologies to chimpanzees). Defecating in public? Rape? Debauchery? Theft? Really, give me a break. Seems like a throw back to the '60's just 'cause it's cool. To marginalize ordinary people who care about government tyranny is way different to snot-nosed rabble.

"Institutionalized Theft" that's what the larger government Left is all about. They continually cry about the "rich" getting rich at the expense of the poor. What is worse, producers employing people at a wage or the government seizing this created wealth for themselves. Who is really greedy? Who has something to lose? Clearly not Big Government; they have the "LAW" on their side; a law that "grants" them the power to tax, aka the power to confiscate!

For every democrat's Solyndra I guarantee you will find the same poor investments engineered by Republicans. The Iraq and Afghanistan Wars alone make Solyndra look like a drop in the bucket--and I'm only talking waste, not overall spending.

I think the TEA party and to a certain degree the OWS crowd would find strange bedfellows when it comes to the level of cronyism we now seem to cynically accept. The bank bailouts maybe being the most obvious example (though I personally understand the reason for those). The problem is the intractability of both sides in adapting their philosophies to the extent that they can see where they'd have certain populist points in common.

This may be too Rodney King "can't we all just get along," but if we can get liberals to understand that we simply can't afford this government we have no matter how much tax "the 1%" pays, and get the TEA party to understand that Adam Smith's invisible hand simply can't exist in this current economic environment, we might save ourselves some of the inevitable pain we're in for.

I agree present day americans are witnessing and participating the downfall of america. They are also experiencing the very government the founding fathers of the country wrote about and warned the people about.

america is on a fast track to be just one more also ran society and cesspool on planet earth.

americans have become the biggest group of FOOLS and willfully ignorant COWARDS on the planet.

americans have more to lose than any other group of people in the world....yet they stick their collective heads up their butts, go aimlessly about their selfish lives while the once greatest country in the history of society deteriorates and is shredded by those that hate the american way of life.

I disagree, the ignorance of the populace is the lowest point of the country. If it had not been for that ignorance voting for the failure twice in addition to voting for his allies in Congress, that would not have happened. People get the government they want and deserve, So, if they want punishment, then they deserve it. If this trend continues, those who are capable will eventually leave this country for more prosperous grounds. This is not new and it's been done before. The only difference is that those who did it before were escaping somewhere else to come to this once great country. Now it is a bone fide struggling 3rd world country. We are witnesssing America's downfall, in every aspect.

The way to break a nation is to impoverish its citizens, while simultaneously gutting its military. Obama and the Democrats are doing just that....the cheapest roll of toilet paper is now $1...and our wounded soldiers can't get even a fraction of the benefits they deserve. And it's going to get worse. Where will it stop?
