Obama’s 15 Worst Moments At The UN

obama-un-speechSpeaking at the United Nations on Wednesday, President Obama performed the signal feat of cramming his head so far up his own ass that his head actually emerged from his mouth again, thereby creating the first human Escher loop. His speech at the United Nations was chock-full of moronic platitudes, internal contradictions, and morally disgusting sentiments.

Here are the top fifteen:

“Together, we have learned how to cure disease, and harness the power of the wind and sun.” Which is, of course, why disease remains rampant in Africa – so much so that Obama is sending 3,000 troops there to combat Ebola virus – and why America garners a whopping 4.13 percent of her electricity from wind and 0.23 percent from the sun. But the Godking hath reined global forces to his chariot, and shall ride the moonbeams!

“We are here because others realized that we gain more from cooperation than conquest.” Well, no. We are here because civilized nations banded together to defeat Nazis and then communism, not because of some global revelation about the power of cooperation. This is a third grade rendition of history.

We believe that right makes might – that bigger nations should not be able to bully smaller ones; that people should be able to choose their own future.” If Obama believes this, he has the mental capacity of a chipmunk. Obviously, right does not make might. If it did, millions of Jews would still be living in Germany and Poland, the Soviet Empire never would have risen, and the Yazidis would be decimating ISIS. We actually believe that it is the duty of right to grow its defense capacity and then fight for its principles – both notions foreign to President Obama.

While small gains can be won at the barrel of a gun, they will ultimately be turned back if enough voices support the freedom of nations and peoples to make their own decisions.” Again, no. Millions of voices have cried out for freedom in North Korea and China for decades, to no avail. It isn’t about raising voices. It’s about strategically outflanking evil nations and crippling their capacity to continue functioning.

“My message to Iran’s leaders and people is simple: do not let this opportunity pass. We can reach a solution that meets your energy needs while assuring the world that your program is peaceful.“ Iran’s mullahs are still laughing at this one.

“America is and will continue to be a Pacific power, promoting peace, stability, and the free flow of commerce among nations. But we will insist that all nations abide by the rules of the road, and resolve their territorial disputes peacefully, consistent with international law.” The Chinese politburo is still laughing at this one.

“On issue after issue, we cannot rely on a rule-book written for a different century.” Who wrote this rulebook? And why, if Obama is presenting a new rulebook, do his rules so closely conform to those of his leftist predecessors?

“Islam teaches peace. Muslims the world over aspire to live with dignity and a sense of justice. And when it comes to America and Islam, there is no us and them – there is only us, because millions of Muslim Americans are part of the fabric of our country.” Well, actually, there is a “them” – as in the huge portion of Muslims who support the goals and aims of al Qaeda and ISIS.

“The ideology of ISIL or al Qaeda or Boko Haram will wilt and die if it is consistently exposed, confronted, and refuted in the light of day.” Then why are we bombing them? Why not send pamphlets? (Note: to support this notion, Obama actually cited a sheikh who has endorsed murder of US soldiers in the Middle East.)

“Next year, we should all be prepared to announce the concrete steps that we have taken to counter extremist ideologies…” Next year. Always next year.

“There is nothing new about wars within religions. Christianity endured centuries of vicious sectarian conflict. Today, it is violence within Muslim communities that has become the source of so much human misery.” Nothing like citing history from centuries ago to downplay Muslim sectarian violence today.

“But the only lasting solution to Syria’s civil war is political – an inclusive political transition that responds to the legitimate aspirations of all Syrian citizens, regardless of ethnicity or creed.” And what, pray tell, would this magical political solution look like, given that last year President Obama was busily telling the UN that Syrian dictator Bashar Assad must go, and this year is busily telling the UN we must bomb those who oppose Assad?

“[T]he countries of the Arab and Muslim world must focus on the extraordinary potential of their people – especially the youth.” This would be a grand idea, except for the inconvenient fact that a disproportionate number of terrorists are Muslim and Arab youths. Oops.

“No God condones this terror. No grievance justifies these actions. There can be no reasoning – no negotiation – with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force….the violence engulfing the region today has made too many Israelis ready to abandon the hard work of peace. But let’s be clear: the status quo in the West Bank and Gaza is not sustainable.” Self-defense for America, but not for the Jews, according to the President. The Jews must continue to pursue the “hard work of peace,” even if they’re experiencing rocket fire every day; America, however, can bomb the hell out of ISIS even if ISIS is located thousands of miles away and largely threatens other Muslims. The hypocrisy is rank, and moral equivocation repulsive.

“In a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri – where a young man was killed, and a community was divided. So yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions.” Officer Darren Wilson can chat with the YouTube “Innocence of Muslims” filmmaker below the bus as he becomes a symbol of all American racial intolerance, despite complete lack of evidence. Thanks, Mr. President!

Nice work Ben. Another epic fail from Hussein Obama. It’s too bad old Chavez is dead. He could have followed him by complaining about the stench of sulphur from the podium. Noxious indeed.

  • Joe Esposito

    Great job Ben.

  • Libslayer

History will not be kind to Barack Hussein Obama.
    America’s biggest mistake.

    • Crassus

Since liberals will be writing history I predict that Obumbles will go down as one of the greatest Presidents of all time. He will have cured the sick, healed the lame, and walked on water. Plus his flatulence will have smelled like Chanel No. 5.

      • Libslayer

By then liberals will have dumbed down students to the point where no one will be able to read anyway. Like Detroit.

    • wiseman

Wrong, GW Bush was America’s greatest mistake.

      • http://consciouseffectiveparenting.info/ Carol

Anti as biggest mistake was trusting government and allowing it to grow so large that we are now being governed by regulations.

  • kasandra

Excellent column! He got the entire speech out of “Vapidity for Dummies.”

    • Moshe Levy

This speech represents the best of Obama yet, he is really doing a fantastic job.

      • kasandra

        You’re being sarcastic, right?

        • Moshe Levy

Dear Ksandra, roll down the page to find my longer comment and check for your self.

          • kasandra

I did. Excellent comment but I never expect Obama to take responsibility for anything. It’s not in his DNA.

  • American Human

Ben, no beating around the bush, tell us what you really think!!!

    • Moshe Levy

Obama is doing a great job.

  • Michael Garfinkel

The Leftist media still prattles on endlessly about how “cool” and cerebral this guy is – they’ve been peddling this line for years.

And granted, almost anyone would look smart after George W. Islam-is-a-religion-of-peace Bush.

But it’s finally becoming clear, to anyone endowed with even a modest ability to reason, just what an empty and vacuous mediocrity Obama really is.

    • carpe diem 36

he is really nothing but a big ZERO in everything.

    • Moshe Levy

Not shallow, he is very deep thinker going after his goals and mission.

      • Michael Garfinkel

Well, since by every objective criteria, legal, constitutional, political and economic, he and his administration have failed, often quite dramatically – I wonder what “goals” you think he is pursuing.

With this “deep thinking” you ascribe to him.

        • Moshe Levy

Hi Michael, I hope you rolled down the page to read my longer comment and went to U. Tu and watched those 3 minutes.
          Any remarks?
          Shavua Tov.

          • Michael Garfinkel

Obama is a Muslim? Obama as the Anti-Christ?

I think “mendacious, shallow mediocrity” is an adequate summation of the man.

    • veritaseequitas

Well if you don’t think GWB was a good president b/c supposedly he wasn’t smart enough; and you disdain Obama because he is such a sub-standard human, who in your esteemed opinion would make a good president?

      • Michael Garfinkel

This is very much a ‘”when did you stop beating your wife” question, and I don’t like the implied sarcasm in your use of the word “esteemed.”

Putting that aside, I don’t see anyone today who would be a “good” president, but there are a few who have the potential to hold that office without doing further damage, (Obama), and who might not be entirely out of their depth (Bush).

Persons who come to mind: Romney and Huckabee.

        • Patriot077

          You are kidding, right?

  • Gee

And this is an American President? My my my – America you deserve so much better than this, I hope you survive until you get a competent President

    • Moshe Levy

This is what the US deserves, a very intelligent president that is going after his goals and his mission gave to him by his mentors.

    • Lightbringer

I hope America survives until we get a competent electorate.

      • DarthFiend

        Don’t hold your breath.

  • carpe diem 36

i think our president is in a deep depression. He is ambling all over the place, his speed is incoherent and goes on to things that have nothing to do with his subject, he is just flapping like a man drowning without a way out. What a spectacle fo a failed president!! I was embarrassed to hear him bring in the Ferguson stuff when talking about climate change. He put everything in the speech but the kitchen sink. He showed himself as not a leader but a confused little man, which he really is, and not fit to lead anything let alone a big country such as the USA.

    • Moshe Levy

So many others are thinking that he is a great leader. He is doing its best to make his mentors happy.

  • Biff Henderson

Standing on the right side of history, Obama waves a bee smoker at the nest.

    • Moshe Levy

Obama is doing a fantastic job.

  • Eddy J. Secco

Watch a President Reagan speech to see how far we’ve fallen in the quality of the people we put in office. I’m proud to have voted for Mr. Reagan in 1980 and 1984.

  • Bandido

Obama is an American scourge, put in office by an intellectually and morally bankrupt electorate. He is the culmination of their aspirations.

  • Demo P. Seal; PouponMarks

I am embarrassed to be an American, and no longer am I a Republican.

  • http://morvay-press.ch/ Tamás György Morvay

Right – but how do you explain that this occupier of the Oval Office was re-elected, less than 2 years ago. At least, with Carter, the voters had enough after the first term, and rightly sent him to become a self-proclaimed “Elder”. And don’t tell me Ronald Reagan was a better governor than Mitt Romney.

    • Michael Garfinkel

Different times; different, and far less debased electorate.

What a great job Obama is doing.

  • Pericles

I stopped taking him seriously a long time ago. There is no greater waste of time than listening to one of his pathetic and moronic lectures.

He must really believe that his platitudes are so compelling that they cannot but TRANSFORM the world. He is the Word made Flesh. He is the unwilling Messiah and Prophet sent into the world to save it from itself. He is the “I Am” finally revealed to the world.

    • Moshe Levy

Obama is very serious doing his job.

      • Lightbringer

Well, yes. He did say he would “fundamentally transform” the greatest country in the world, and so he has. Many of us found his “fundamental transformation” words chilling, but he seems to have garnered enough votes — by means fair or foul, true or false — to be able to fulfill his threat.

When my father was a US naval officer in 1943 he commanded a gun crew on the Murmansk Run in the North Sea. He spoke German, and sometimes on calm nights he would go up to the ship’s radio shack and listen to broadcasts from Berlin. He told me that Hitler was obviously a madman, and wondered how the German people could have elected him. I miss my father, but I am glad that he did not live to see the US elect someone even madder and badder, if you will, than Germany did all those years ago.

  • Elizabeth capecod

It must have been a challenge to narrow them down to only 15.

    • Moshe Levy

Obama 15 points are his best work so far.

  • Moshe Levy

Dear all, I hope you were not fooled by my cynical replies to some of you.
You must look at the bigger picture and see what makes a man and what he brings to his life and where he brought it from.
In his Cairo 2009 speech, he opened the Pandora box for all Muslim’s demons and here we are today. He has a mission mentored by his ISNA USA advisers (check who they are), he was raised as a Muslim, he apologized to the Muslims about all the wrong doing the USA caused them, he praised the Muslim Brotherhood, (a terror movement) he drew his red line in Syria and never kept his (yours) word, he is against ISIS / ISIL / Islamic state / or what ever their name is but he was the one who let them grow to such a monster-es proportion.
His administration is based on lies. IRS scandal, Benghazi killings, NSA fiasco, red line in Syria, Obama Care lies, loosing all trust the US had among nations in the Middle East and all around, working with Qatar and Turkey while they support Hamas, working against Egypt and Israel, canceling arms and munition shipments to both his allies.
I recommend you to go to U. Tu. and search for: “Urgent warning for Israel in 2014″ and watch 3 minutes only (01.00 to 04.00) and get it.
I was so sorry to learn about the killing in Oklahoma, it may be the first among many others all across the USA. I truly hope I am wrong.
Be well my friends and keep safe.

    • John Adams

      Thanks Moshe, great post.
      Shalom.

  • cacslewisfan

Thank you Ben. Great analysis. I couldn’t bear to watch Obama at the UN. It just depresses me. The speeches from Western Leftists at the UN have been priceless. I am thunderstruck by the inconsistency, equivocation, and outright fantasy. What planet do these people live on? Moreover, who is writing these speeches? Obama’s speech and the speech given by Emma Watson have the same type of logical contradictions. I wonder if they were written by the same person?

  • veritaseequitas

Good Lord what a boring little pissant Obama is. Boring, repetitive, blathering, dithering, blowing smoke up the world’s collective butt. Embarrassing that we have to refer to him as POTUS.

  • joshuasweet

kowtow to the Iranians Obama’s latest quest for peace

  • USARetired

Ramblings of an idiot and devout Muslim, who is also an illegal immigrant in America illegally! So what more would one expect?

  • nilro

Well said Ben. You have summed up B.O. and his silliness perfectly. A straw man if there ever was one. Sadly he has done great damage to America.

  • andrewwhitehead

Our president is a simpleton and a jackwad. He is so damn stupid that he doesn’t have any idea how stupid he really is. Our friends do not trust us and our enemies laugh at us. We will be alone if this state of affairs is allowed to continue.

  • Jerry G

What Obama said was completely compatible with the dreck issued by the U.N. on a daily basis.Obama and the U.N. should drown in it.

  • William Magoffin

“Together, we have learned how to cure disease, and harness the power of the wind and sun.”

Well the sun is powered by fusion and the current administration has been doing its best to ensure that as many countries as possible harness the power of fusion in as small and easy to deliver a package as possible that can generate a wind that is sure to cure you of any disease you might have… permanently…

  • Jimi Streets

It will forever baffle me how this little man became president. Twice.
