America does not hate rich people ; we all want to be rich.
What America hates is the Goniff class that bribes congress to make laws that enable some rich people to extract wealth from the people.

A Good brain surgeon is worth billions; a Business Combine that uses congress to give their Business money is worthy of the gallows.

Adam Smith warned about Businesses combining to cheat the public. He did so in the" Wealth of Nations".

Also even Milton Friedman said something of the same nature.

But the point is that limited government should have put an end to the conflict between "haves" and "have-nots" by removing the ability of the latter to abuse their privilege of voting to help themselves to the property of the former. I think we are more divided now, because while there have been Progressive forces active for a century, it's only more recently that they have had total control of the Democratic Party, thus every time they win an election all our liberties and properties are immediately endangered to a degree never before seen in the history of this country.

If we can somehow restore the government the Founders intended, which would require amending both Federal and State Constitutions, we could put an end to "class warfare" by ending both the regulatory and the welfare state.

Next week there will be another proposal to extend unemployment benefits to the over two million workers who had loss their benefits back late December. This was due to the Republicans refusing to vote "yes" on this issue. This has hurt many people, and many people with children. It's truly a shame that the one party which claims to be "the party for family values", had desperately lacked them by their vote. Making matters even worse, the Republicans blamed the "unemployed workers" for being lazy and unwilling to find jobs. Of course this is much easier to say when you have a six figure salary with outstanding perks like they have. The Republicans have loss sight of the Big picture..... soon elections will come again, and they will be wanting as many votes as they can get. What a shame it will be for them, if TWO MILLION VOTERS decide to vote against them, and for the other party. Americans have had enough of these political games, and will be wanting real change in 2016. The Republicans have ONE MORE OPPORTUNITY, to do the just and moral thing, and approve the unemployment extension to these workers without any means of support at the present time. Unfortunately, many families have faced eviction, foreclosures, and even bankruptcy since late December. There have been many stories of entire families living in their vehicles without a home. Sadly, all this could have been avoided if the Republicans had shown a little compassion for those less fortunate than themselves. Like the other 99 percent of us out here.

What a coincidence that I just read Federalist Paper #10 last night and now this article should appear. It seems that the modern liberal leftist Democrat party is using its senate majority, yet numerical minority to tyrannize the rest of America, and in the process threatening the very Republican style government that the constitution established. The Democrats have indeed created scores of factions, that browbeat the majority of Americans everyday, and instead of an effective check to such factions, there is supplication and acquiesence in the face of such self interests riled by passion. There would also appear to be no common ground between constitution abiding Americans and constitution shredding socialist Democrats epitomized by the Obama administration and the Democrat gangsters in The United States Congress.

A big problem we face is public apathy and ignorance. Most people don't know who is the governor of their state, let alone, their Congressman or Senator. And they sure as hell have never heard of the Federalist Papers. The Constitution was written and instituted of, by and for the people but, as time passed, the people have left governing to the "professionals" thereby surrendering the power granted them over the government. Given such power, as the Founders knew, government will seek to control every function of society and deem itself sole arbiter of wealth and justice. Once this happens citizens turn into subjects.

Well done.

The conflict between haves and have nots is as old as humanity. The difference between the past and now is that the Left has made envy and hate an essential part of their religion. Add the malignant racism inculcated into the constituencies of the Left and you have a conflict that could reach an unresolvable impasse any day.

In the past, both rich and poor Americans were advised by the dominant Judeo-Christian morality. This made resolution of conflict at least a little more achievable. The Right still adheres to those beliefs but the Left believes the end justifies the means, the antithesis to Judeo-Christian morality. There is no common ground between Right and Left, with no interest or intent on the part of the Left to restrain their rapacious appetite for total power, and no will to compromise, the balance is gone.
